Food was good but the burger and fries were salty and I like salt. Lol Also, not a fan of generic ketchup but it wasn't bad. Often I won't eat fries with them. Service was good. Only 1 bartender on but it wasn't busy and she was very attentive. Place was clean and was a nice looking bare. read more

Sullivans exceeded my expectations. On a Saturday during playoff football it wasn't too busy & easily got a seat at the bar. Excellent beer list & an impressive Guinness pour was my first impression. The food menu is standard pub fair with some highlight of restaurant favorites. The Rodeo Burger & Cuban were both pretty good but neither the best I've had (I would order again though) but the chicken tender were fantastic. They were not overly fried or heavy so they made a perfect appetizer. Inside there are plenty of TVs to show whatever is live & the walls are decorated with beer signs making the pub feel older than it actually is. The bartenders were friendly & the food was prompt making Sullivans a regular spot going forward. They also have a mug club. read more

Love a traditional Irish Bar with a huge bar area and friendly staff! First time here as the daughter had a hankering for Shepherds Pie! Did not disappoint as she got the loaded Shepards Pie! Retired from corporate finance, so I have a pretty good handle of the money side of dining out. $71 pre- tip for a Miller Lite, DRAFT Guinness, pretzel bites, fish & chips, and shepdherd's pie is LUDICROUS! The draft beer alone is $9. DRAFT beer. Is the line running all the way to Galway? Fish & Chips should have been around $14. The draft should have been $5 or $6. Right there you are overcharging by $11+. Pretzel bites should be around $8. They are equivalent to a pretzel, but cup up and served with mustard. Now, we are up to $15 overcharged. Service was good. Yet, the prices caused me to say to my wife that we will not return and I am Irish! Add the tip and the total was $83. I usually tip 20% so Sullivan's Publick House screwed their server on the tip by overcharging for the food. Go ahead. Complain about costs. You will price yourself into oblivion and cause your employees to lose their income. read more

Was craving a really good old school pub and Sullivan's came up. Husband and I decided to take a shot. Glad we did. The staff was friendly, the place was cozy, and the menu looked so good it was hard to decide. My husband went with The Rachel (Turkey Reuben) and I went with the pub burger (bacon jam, caramelized onion, cheese). Both were delicious as were their shoestring fries (hot, crisp and perfectly salty). Definitely will be going back. read more

Sullivan's has become part of our regular rotation of places to eat. The menu has some new additions, but mostly stays the same. They have daily specials like Taco Tuesday and Wing Wednesday. Plenty of good beers on tap besides the full bar and good coffee. The staff have always been very friendly and the food good quality. It's pub style food. Reuben, chicken wrap, salad, fajitas, burgers and so on. I've tried several of their menu items now and they are all good quality and tasty. They have a large tent set up on the outdoor patio that is used year round. It doubles the available dining space. Plenty of TV's line the wall behind the bar. Single men's and ladies' rooms. Always clean in there, but they switched out the paper towel dispenser for a hand dryer which makes it hot as a sauna. So that's fun. On street parking is free. Even during busy times we haven't had to park very far away. Remember to drive the posted speed limit - Pawtucket has speed cameras every where! There is a step up into the pub but the walk way from the sidewalk is a flat incline. read more

Every visit all the staff are very friendly and the service is the best around. My favorite neighborhood pub, great prices and mixed drinks and draft beer. Best chicken fingers around. Went there with A old army buddy of mine for some drinks and some food, and we had a great time, the service was really good. Neat little joint we'd never been to before but decided to try when our usual spot in the area was closed for the weekday. And now with Roast House being gone too it's pretty hard to find a place that has good wings AND drinks. They had musical bingo and we were pleasantly surprised with the service and food. Wings had a massive kick to them and were really juicy with a lot of sauce which is how I like them when I dine in somewhere. Was also shocked how good the burger and dessert were. The bun was different but nice and it was perfectly cooked too. Very satisfying meal altogether! Definitely will be returning. Laid-back cozy atmosphere and Lawrence was pleasant and very good to us. He knows how to make a drink! Only thing really is it's a little tough to eat at the bar if you have neck or back issues because there's a bit of a wooden barrier and I didn't really care for the air dryer thing in the bathroom because paper should always also be available just in case. 5 stars otherwise read more

Food was overpriced. Reuben was $17 on the menu. The waitress asked if I wanted a side of sauce and I said yes. When I got the bill the fries cost an extra $2.50 and the tiny little side of Russian dressing was $1!!! So my sandwich was $20.50!!! Yikes!!! The bartender was not friendly at all and I was annoyed she didn't tell me there was an up charge for the sauce and fries otherwise I would not have gotten it. Drinks are reasonably priced and there was trivia which was fun. Next time I'll just stick with drinks. read more

We have been here a few times over the past few years. I have had the following: 1. BLT- Most bacon I have ever had in a BLT. LOVE IT! 2. Fish & Chips- Always solid. Not the best I have ever had but a decent size fish. Not greasy. Decent fries and I really like their cole slaw. Just enough dressing. 3. Pulled pork- flavorful We usually get seated fast, the staff are always helpful and share responsibilities. Sometimes wondering who do we ask for help since its such a team environment? I can share my husband recently ordered the chicken sandwich. The chicken was super small and way more bread. My husband (who never raises concerns at establishments) chose to show the waitress who immediately agreed and made it right by offering another option. I like Sullivan's. read more

I have been coming here for years and lost count of the hours drinking beer! First time back since covid as I try not to expose myself out too much - but had one *those* days and needed it! I was super sad to see the beer club was gone (please please bring it back!!) but it was nice to see they now carry cocktails! I'm a sucker for the build your own burger but have partaken on most menu items and enjoy them all!! I brought a coworker for the first time last night and she absolutely cleared her plate! Covid vibe check - reservations are preferred (which you can do at any time - we made one two hours prior to going!) and is simple and don't need the app. Those parking spaces in front of the building are now a covered patio which is awesome! They took out the middle tables in the dining room so everyone is spaced far away from each other - totally felt comfortable. The staff was pleasant and cheerful and attentive as always!! We went to Sullivan's for brunch during "The Great Before" but forgot why we didn't return until recently. So far as I recall, the food was pretty decent. We went again over the weekend and was immediately reminded what kept us from returning. THEY DON'T OFFER DECAF COFFEE! Now that may not mean anything to you, but to us folks who can't tolerate the caffeine, it ruined my meal to have to wash my food down with tap water. The five of us spent over $100. What would the big deal be to keep some decaf on hand and just tell the customer: " give me a few minutes and I'll brew you a fresh pot"? Instead they lost an opportunity to gain the future business of a family who goes out to brunch every weekend. The math makes no sense to me but whatever. read more

We were excited to stop by and asked in advance if we could enjoy a meal with our dog in the outdoor area. We were told it would be fine, so we found a place to park and returned ready to settle in. Unfortunately, when we arrived, we were informed that dogs actually weren't allowed. It was disappointing, especially after checking beforehand. Wow, I haven't even started eating yet but I'm already so disappointed. Ordered delivery and kept watch on the app to see when it would arrive. Got notice that it was out for delivery then waited to get notification of delivery. No notice. The food sat outside long enough to get cold and since it was raining the top container had water in it and was ruined. After reheating we began to eat. The fries didn't seem to be cooked long enough AND the "side of fries" was small. The burger didn't have cheese on it, at all. Cajun fried pickles were good. We popped in here because it was recommend by fellow yelpers as great food and drinks. It's a cozy spot but has plenty of seating. The staff was super friendly and greeted us immediately. They made sure we had our drinks kept full at all Times. This is always appreciated and a sign of a good bartender. The draft list is great for us beer geeks. I had a burger and it was juicy and delicious. The menu had a lot of options so if you have a fussy eater they will be sure to find something they love. I recommend it for sure. It's also close to a lot of our Pawtucket breweries so a great place to stop when imbibing. read more

My wife picked up a couple of fish and chip orders to go, we live 1/4 mile away. While the food was hot, chips are never shoestring potatoes, but that ius what we were served. The fish had a nice breading coating, however it did not stay on the fish. The tartar sauce container was half ampty, but there was far too much vinegar in it to be eaten. It's a good thing we were eating in our home as there were no plasticware nor napkins supplied. We will be going elsewhere next week. read more

This is a very good place for good food and drink. In addition it has the great vibe of a neighborhood pub. The menu is varied and interesting. The drink menu is substantial including unusual cocktails and brews. The staff is gracious and friendly. We'll return to Sullivan's on future trips to Pawtucket. read more

We have been wanting to check this place out for a while and restaurant week seemed like the perfect time to do so. I wasn't sure if this place was appropriate for us to bring the kids (from the outside it looks like a small, dark neighborhood bar) so I called ahead and asked and was told "Yes! We are very family friendly!" That was all we needed to hear and we were on our way! In fact, when arrived there were several families with little ones in the dining area. I ordered a "personal pitcher" of sangria and my husband ordered a beer. We decided on some appetizers for the table, and were thrilled with the Irish chips (house made chips covered in house made corned beef hash and Russian dressing) which were totally delicious and the warm pretzel bites with dipping sauces were too. We decided on the restaurant week menu, because it seemed like the best value. Soup or salad, a special entree, and a dessert for $14.99 - how could we go wrong? I ordered the beef stroganoff and my husband got the jambalaya and while the entrees were okay, I had instant regret about not ordering something more traditional from their regular menu, like Shepard's pie or fish and chips because I imagine they would have been delicious. The kids both ordered the grilled cheese - one got the kids portion and one got the ultimate grilled cheese with bacon and tomato - which they heartily ate and enjoyed. Both sandwiches came with fries which were heavily salted, so neither of my kids ate them, which was okay with me because they had stuffed themselves with pretzel bites already. This is was a random pick between destinations. And I wanted to cancel my plans for the evening. I got the fish and chips. Huge portion does not do it justice. The fish came in 2 huge pieces. One looked like a piece of fried chicken ( like a whole bird) I will skip breakfast and maybe have a late lunch tomorrow. It definitely reminded me of the Irish themed pubs in and around Boston when they were cool. The decor was subtle enough to feel like my Irish ancestors knew I was there but not like "top of the morning to ya and here is a bowl of Lucky Charms" Irish. This is an example of a great restaurant/pub in Pawtucket. I hope to see Pawtucket follow Providence in cuisine offerings - the rent is cheaper and it's 10 minutes away from Prov! Just saying Blink twice and you might miss it. It's tucked on Armistice Blvd in Pawtucket. I noticed it a dozen of times before I ventured it. From the outside, it looks like a tiny townie bar. You know - the type where everyone looks at you as you walk in with that "WTH are youuuuu doing here" look. I was SO WRONG. First of all, this place is quite large. It extends into the back, but can't see it from the main street. It's very cute, and welcoming inside. It is not a townie spot...it's an "everyone should try it" spot. It looks and feels like the old Doherty's East Ave Irish Pub, which I miss dearly. Lots of brews with great service. They even have the Buffalo Fires guys! Now - real talk if I am to be a bit picky. The cooks need to keep fries in the fryer longer - they were limp. The Beignets are more like a plain doughnut - hard pass. Everything else was stellar! Great for a drink and a bite with friends. I was craving wings and chili, so I decided to order pickup. The food was made quickly and ready for me as soon as I came inside the main entrance. By the time I got the food home, the chili was luke warm, but the portion was good. I reheated the chili and it was great. Very filled with ground meat, a few veggies, cheese, and beans. I got the buffalo wings, which were alright. While they did have buffalo flavor, they tasted more like plain wings with a spray of buffalo flavor. I would have preferred more spice/flavor on the wings. The wings were meaty and had I eaten at the restaurant, would have been better. Overall the restaurant does a good job, I've eaten there multiple times and it is usually an excellent experience. read more
