Great atmosphere with attentive bartenders that makes you want to keep going back. The patrons are respectful, friendly, and make you feel part of the community. The owner does a lot to help support local teams and charities.

Good times with good people at Quinn's

I hadn't been here since the Benefit Street Pub days...so I was pleasantly surprised to find such a mixed (I would say ages ranged from 20's to 60's), upbeat crowd, in what was once a real dive. They have a large, horseshoe shaped bar, some high top tables, a juke box, one pool table and lots of sports memorabilia on display. Parking is sparse on the street so you want to use the Monroe brake shop lot that is directly across Benefit Street. The drinks were on point, the staff and patrons all seemed to be having a great Saturday night - I know the group I was with did. The atmosphere was loud with the music, TV's and packed bar full of patrons - but not not so loud that you wanted to run away! The ladies room was clean and I will certainly add this bar back into the rotation for a good time when wanting to stay local.

Good time there last night, local joint, cheap beers, friendly people...they had a good live band.

The best "local bar" to which I have ever been, and I owned one for ten years. Nice respectful patrons and owner.

There's pop culture references papered all over the walls, an old school wooden bar and a small dining room that could double as an intimate event space Our bartender was super nice, he let us know what was available to order since the full kitchen wasn't open when we went. We were there for the wings anyway, as RI Food Fights brought us here. We got the Maple Bacon Bourbon wings, a side of fries and the giant pretzel The wings were good! Not super crispy but the glaze coated them well and clung to the wing nicely. The menu said they were smoked before they were fried, but outside of the generous amount of bacon bits that were part of the glaze, I didn't get much smoke in the meat itself. Otherwise, we liked the glaze. The fries are the more expensive, clear coat kind that hold their crisp longer, which I appreciate. They were great plain or with ketchup. The pretzel was warm and perfectly soft. The beer cheese that came with it was excellent. And the blue cheese dressing was as well that we got with the wings. It had a great blue cheese flavor without giant chunks of cheese. They also offer pizza and a number of handhelds that all looked interesting, so I'll have to come back soon when the full kitchen is open!

He ate some and then I ate the rest. It was pretty darn good! Creamy. Flavorful. My husband made a joke about going to Our Spot again, and it's now on the list!

I think the reason why a lot of people have issues with it is because they treat it like a regular bar. It's not! A Irish pub is like a family, and you don't treat that family with disrespect. Well, on that note, they served us some strong drinks and we quietly drank them. Good spot to hit before McCoy. Thanks

It's been a Bucket tradition throughout the years for all of these guys to meet on Thanksgiving morning. The location has changed as places open and close, but I have to say that Galway is my favorite so far. Galway is not only great on Thanksgiving morning, but it is a great neighborhood bar to meet up for a drink or hear some uber-Irish band sing sappy Irish ballads and catchy jigs. It's also a great stop before or after a PawSox game, as it's right around the corner from McCoy. This is the kind of place where the bartender looks like he's been behind the bar, pouring 'em and enjoying 'em for years. There are quotes proclaiming Gaelic wisdom and pictures portraying the lush green of the homeland all over the walls. As is customary for an authentic Irish pub, most of the older folks can drink a young upstart like me under a table. However, it doesn't feel like a sad bar for drunks, it just feels like a simple and happy bar for the Irish. And it's a pretty happy place for a half-Irish gal like me.

Amazing craft beer menu, but I wish there was more of a cider selection. I'm an absolute creature of habit so I typically get the same menu items but everything is amazing. I believe that between four and six you can order either Nashville or Smashburger sliders for like seven bucks and a side of hand cut fries for like five. I would suggest doing that if you want to leave room for dessert. Otherwise, the Nashville chicken sandwich is literally the best chicken Sammy you'll ever eat in your life. They offer two types of fries and they're both good but the hand cut ones are life-changing. You'll never order fries from anywhere else ever again and enjoy them. The pit craft mac & cheese is creamy, cheesy, wonderful. The Smashburger is equally amazing. Forget five guys or anywhere else really. Truly the best burger. Anything smoked (burnt ends, pulled pork, all of it, delicious. If you have room for dessert, I highly suggest the waffles. They almost taste like they're candied with a little bit of caramelized sugar and served with a berry compote, vanilla ice cream, and whipped cream... I can't explain it, but they are absolutely delicious. So put on some stretchy pants and go stuff your face here. Ask for Jalice, she's the sweetest. Owner Jared and Beth are wonderful. They always listen to feedback and are constantly improving. I believe right now they're working on the backyard and I can't wait until it's open. Overall great place to get some barbecue and dessert.

I ordered the Chicken Francaise, described as "flour breaded, egg-dipped, sautéed chicken cutlets with a lemon-butter and white wine sauce, served with jasmine rice and greens." Unfortunately, the dish delivered bore little resemblance to that description. The "greens" appeared to be little more than a handful of bagged grocery store salad mix dumped onto the plate, complete with brown, wilted lettuce. It was unappetizing to look at and ultimately inedible. The chicken itself was bland and flavorless. Rather than the bright, balanced lemon flavor that Chicken Francaise is known for, the overwhelming taste was simply butter. The sauce lacked the smooth, velvety texture traditionally associated with a good francaise sauce and seemed hastily prepared. The jasmine rice was equally disappointing. It had none of the fragrant, floral qualities that distinguish jasmine rice from ordinary white rice. It tasted like plain boiled rice with no seasoning or character. At nearly $24, I expected a much higher-quality meal. This was, without question, the worst dish I've had here and felt like a complete miss from the kitchen. The one bright spot of the evening was the cocktail. I ordered the Pear Flower Martini, and it was absolutely excellent--perfectly balanced, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. The bar program continues to impress and was easily the highlight of the meal. One additional disappointment was learning that the restaurant adds a 3% surcharge for credit card payments. While I understand businesses have the right to offset processing costs, this was not pointed out when the check was presented. I only learned about it because I specifically asked. I was told the charge is removed if you pay with cash or a debit card. Transparency matters, and this should be clearly disclosed when guests receive their bill rather than requiring them to notice and question it themselves. I hope this was simply an off night because the quality of this meal was nowhere near what I've come to expect from this restaurant.
