On tsp Smithwicks Beer was lukewarm. Wings are always excellent. Fries were crisp. Nachos were soggy.

Went in for a late lunch and sat at the bar. It wasn't too busy, but definitely filled with some regulars. The bartender came right over for a drink order and offered me a menu. The menu is a decent size and I land on the Burger and Fries. Food was hot and delicious and the beer was cold.

    Meatball and Mushroom Pizza

I recently met up with some friends for lunch and we decided to go here and right off the bat I liked that there was ample parking as there usually isn't in this area and it's easy to find as well. We went in and were seated at a nice booth in the bar area, I liked how we could see the pizzas being made and the smell of the oven. Our waitress was fantastic and really made an effort to make sure we were taken care of. The interior is nice and comfortable and not over done. We all ordered pizzas and I had the meatball and mushroom which was fantastic, I honestly cannot believe I ate the whole thing but it was that good! It was cooked perfectly and very flavorful and light and crispy, the oven makes a nice crust and great flavor I haven't had anyplace else. If you are in the area do yours favor and stop by for some great food and service, you won't be disappointed!

Arigna's is a fantastic stop no matter what. Have come here for St. Paddy's Day, New Years, and just for fun many times. Their pizza is phenomenal, the fish and chips are some of the best we've had in New England, and their new menu has some incredible hits on it. The Guinness Beef Stew was especially good, the Honey Hogs, "Pork Wings", were fantastic as well. Always recommend coming here, it's a great spot and the service and quality is synonymous across both their Pawtucket and NP Locations.

SHEPHERD PIE Takeout (pic is what's beneath the potatoes)

Fantastic shepard's pie for takeout!!! I used door dash and the food was ready right on time and piping hot. ($16.60 w/ tax). The mashed potatoes were fluffy and the sauce was on point. They also gave a nice amount of meat which was also very good.

    Raw CAESAR salad

So I ordered a Caesar salad with grilled chicken via GrubHub this evening and I get this; A few pieces of romaine, RAW chicken and no cheese or croutons. I have no idea how they charge $20 for this. Ridiculous!

Tuna melt, not well melted. Fries were great tho.

I'll be generous and go with four stars but I'd say more like 3.5 really. We came here after a hike at the Caratunk Wildlife Refuge. They have an extensive beer selection but sadly they were out of both of our first choice beers. I was hoping for a Shipyard Pumpkin brew and my bf was hoping for a Chubby Unicorn brew from our favorite local brewery, Smug. I settled on another pumpkin beer I never heard of and bf got a Fat Tire. The unknown pumpkin beer was quite tasty but served in a smallish glass. There are no prices on the beer menu (wtf?) and when we got the check the unknown pumpkin beer was $9. Again, wtf? Anyways, for food we both got tuna melts which were huge and served with fries and a pickle. We could have ordered one and shared it because we could each only eat half of our plate. The fries were very tasty, thick and fresh out of the fryer. They had malt vinegar on the tables, which I always appreciate. The tuna melt had tasty ingredients but sadly was not very melted. The bread was toasted but the interior was kind of cold and the cheese not melted. Part of why I wanted to take the other half home was to properly melt it. Service was totally fine and we were seated and the food came quickly, although I would have appreciated a bit more cooking time on the melt. When we first arrived there was a very loud table near us which was kind of annoying but once they left, the volume returned to normal levels. We saw several other groups just enjoying a mellow lunch so maybe that was an anomaly. Very traditional pub decor and aesthetics.

    Buffalo tenders.

Not anymore. We've read of problems they've been having with the township and unfortunately it shows in the good. A Caesar salad was a plate of wilted bits of iceberg lettuce, a few croutons, a sprinkling of powdered Parmesan cheese - and that was it. No tomatoes. It was the quality you'd expect on an airplane. The turkey club used to be amazing. Now it was just OK. Still real sliced turkey breast but old and dry instead of rich and savory. There's a long list of draft beers on line. When asked the waitress said the only draft beer available was Harp. Literally one draft beer out of over a dozen on the menu. We'll sorely miss the old Aidan's, and hope a new owner might come along.

I have to admit I was disappointed in my visit to this establishment. I had heard good things about…read moreit & the parking lot was always full, so I was optimistic. Decor wise, there's not much to write home about. Outdated with lots of wood but, hey, it's a pub. Which is why I didn't expect fancy restaurant prices. The evening started out fine. Our friendly young server brought us a basket of warm Irish soda bread with real Irish butter, which was delicious. Our water was served in cute logo glasses. Strangely enough, the beverage menu listed wine prices but not cocktail prices. And we wanted Margaritas, which weren't listed. When we asked our server, she immediately said they didn't offer them. Since they have a full bar, we asked why. I honestly don't think she knew what a Margarita was. She said she'd ask the bartender & came back to tell us they could make them. We asked the price. Again, she had to find out... $12. We agreed, but when she returned with two drinks in Old Fashioned glasses, I refused mine. The drink was literally 4 sips! My dining companion kept hers & said it was nicely made but not worth the price. I ordered a ginger ale instead ($3). We both ordered fish & chips ($21) and, again, were disappointed with what we received for the price. The chips appeared to be hand cut & were tasty, but the small, thin fish fillets were breaded in what I believe was cornmeal. Edible but certainly not what you'd expect from an Irish pub. Where's the beer batter? Neither of us liked the tiny cup of coleslaw. Afterwards, we asked for a dessert menu. Again, no prices. There were three desserts & several coffee drinks listed. We opted for Irish coffees ($13) and were pleased with the coffee, whiskey, brown sugar and fresh whipped cream concoctions. With tax & tip, the total bill came to $105.76, way too much for this kind of place. And, they ended up charging us $13 for that mini-Margarita. Whatever. We won't be back.

Having prior experience with this establishment, I departed today with a sense of disappointment…read more My companion and I both ordered the fish and chips; however, the portion sizes did not meet my previous expectations. The coating was not the traditional batter but rather a crusted layer of bread crumbs. Typically, Irish or English pub-style fish and chips are prepared with a beer batter to achieve a crispy crust, a preparation I believe I previously enjoyed at this venue. Consequently, this was a notable disappointment. Additionally, when requesting two margaritas, the waitress informed us that they do not serve margaritas. While I understand that it is an Irish pub rather than a Mexican establishment, it is a fully licensed bar and pub. We did ask her to request it from the bartender, which was produced. Although it was good, size matters; it was a 4oz drink. Not worthy of a $13.00 price tag. Regarding portion size and pricing, the fish and chips were quite expensive, especially considering the limited portion size. My recollection is that in the past, the portions were sizable enough to share, but not so much now. Lastly, my observation is that many restaurants, once renowned for excellent cuisine, have exchanged flavor and portion size for profit. Giving customers less and increasing prices threefold. This is a pub, not an elegant establishment. I felt the prices were higher with less product for your money. I awarded two stars because the Irish soda bread was delicious, and the Irish coffee was quite exceptional.
