A Lina Rueben fro Breakfast with a side of hash.

Stopped by here on Sunday to watch the USA v Canadians Men's Hockey Final. FYI- this bar shows great Premiere League matches and is open early Saturdays and Sundays. It was easy to think that they would have on the game. Nothing has changed. One of the best places in Providence to get a pint of Guinness along with a great breakfast. Opted for the Luna Rueben. Instead of sauerkraut they add coleslaw to your sandwich. Spectacular! Service is great and friendly. Glad some things never change.

Spent 4 days in Providence for Flight Sim Expo '25 and this pub was an easy walk from the convention center and my hotel. Very cool pub atmosphere and they were playing AEW on the TVs which was a nice bonus for a casual wrestling fan like me. I was there from around 6 to 8 PM on a Thursday and it definitely got more crowded and louder as the night went on. That is exactly what you want from a pub vibe though. Just do not come here expecting a quiet family dinner like TGIF because it can get pretty rowdy. I had the lobster roll which was fresh and delicious. The margarita I ordered though was pretty meh but that is on me. Spots like this are clearly more about beer than mixed drinks. I just like tequila because it hits faster and knocks me out like a baby.

Good local spot popped in on Easter Sunday while passing through town. The fish and chips were OK - had the melt burger which was good not great; the salted caramel old-fashioned was delicious and the cosmopolitan Yum Yum service was efficient but without any fanfare, you won't find any niceties but you will get efficient service as for the is a bar atmosphere. It was vibrant and lively and welcoming

Murphy's was just okay; it was exactly what we were expecting as a pub to grab a quick bite. The food was just okay - everything was pretty heavy with not a ton of balance or interesting flavors. It feels pretty dark inside, which we honestly expected. Our service was great though!

My wife, sad that this was our last Reuben egg roll they were SO memorable

Our first meal while visiting New England was our favorite ! The French onion soup was SO good ! Especially during a cold and rainy day. The poutine fries were the definition of perfect pub food. But the star of the show were the Reuben egg rolls. As a self proclaimed Reuben connoisseur, I was excited by the concept. They were everything we had hoped for and more ! So crispy, so meaty, so cheesy. Lowkey life changing haha The decor was very cool and the vibes were such that it's a must stop during any visit to Providence. A big thank you to Madison as well for the excellent service !

My cousin and I went to Murphy's to pregame before going to the concert, the service was very fast. The weight staff is extremely attentive and it was a very busy evening, the food came out well prepared and was excellent and they have many beers on top. I highly recommend when you're in Providence, Rhode Island if you want a really good Irish bar setting Murphy's is the place to go.

Early on a Super Bowl Sunday..already busy. Staff coming on and heading out. Food arrived...lots of food. Not the best food but lots of variety. Even before it got busy service was not good. They were very interested in setting up a buffet for the game...not much in serving. I'm going to chalk it up to game day jitters.

This is a conveniently located, classic Irish Pub with 80s music playing on the TV. We stopped in after the Oddities Expo last weekend. As you can imagine, this spot is walking distance from the convention center, and it was slammed! We were still only waiting about 10 minutes before we got a table. The waitress was the only one working when we arrived, and despite the hustle and bustle, she got it done quickly, with a smile on her face. I personally got the steak tips, they were perfectly prepared and coated in a sweet/tangy sauce! This meal normally comes with mashed potatoes and mixed veggies. The waitress let us know she was out of mixed veggies but could substitute it for spinach. Honestly I'm glad they did! The spinach was fresh, tart, and buttery, it really tied the meal together. All in all, I'll definitely be back to try their different styles of Rueban Sandwiches!

Grilled Caesar wrap & side of tater tots!

Took my girlfriend to Providence for the first time and we stopped here for an afternoon lunch. We were both starving and were ready to eat! We were seated promptly and decided on a grilled chicken caesar salad wrap for myself, and a Turkey club sandwich for my girlfriend. I was feeling potato, but not their steak fries, so I got the side of their tots, and my girlfriend got a garden salad with her sandwich. Right off the bat, I want to say that the food was DELICIOUS. The chicken in the wrap was cooked perfectly and was very juicy. The lettuce was fresh and the caesar dressing tasted homemade, and boy, was there a generous amount of it. That is exactly how I like it (no one likes a dry wrap!), so I was very impressed. The tater tots were lightly fried and had a good flavor to them, but I would've preferred them a tiny bit crispier. My girlfriend really enjoyed her Turkey club, and after stealing a few bites I can happily say I did as well. The vinaigrette dressing that came with her salad was on par! We also enjoyed having Malt Vinegar on the table-- which my girlfriend taught me goes on tater tots, so be sure to try that out too! Aside from the food, I honestly was not feeling the layout of the restaurant, as the table placement on the floor felt a bit awkward and it seemed counterproductive for waitstaff that were walking by. Our table was positioned in a way that made the walk way narrower, and I could feel the waiters trying to sneak by my chair every few minutes. Additionally, we came right in the middle of a Bruins game, so it was a bit on the louder side, which is totally acceptable for a sports bar. My last thought is that the payment system surprised me-- I was instructed to scan a QR code and pay virtually through ToastTab, which was efficient, but does not seem like a feasible system for customers of all segments. Overall, Providence success, and we left with our stomachs feeling satisfied!!

    Turkey club

I stopped in for lunch on my way to the train station. They had just opened but already the bar was half full of locals stopping in for a bite or a pint. The service was fast and friendly and the food was hot and fresh. I ordered the turkey club with mustard, and tots. I really liked how they put the tots in a little paper sack. It absorbed any extra oil, kept them crunchy, and prevented any of them from trying to roll away. I believe tots are superior to fries and will always order them if they are on a menu. The club was on point! Thick Italian bread, fresh veggies, salty bacon, and a giant pile of turkey. This was easily two full meals. And like a good club, it came with a toothpick keeping it together so the second half stayed together in my to go container. Even leftover, the sandwich was really good. The portions were huge, the waitress was charming, and she brought me a little ramekin of homemade pickles that were awesome.

The place was over half empty- it was around 8pm. We shared a decent spinach and artichoke dip. My wife had a margarita pizza not memorable. I had the bangers with green beans and fries - good. Our guest had a Caesar salad with blackened salmon - also good. We took some of the food home. For drinks we had two hot Irish toddy's, a six point crisp beer, and a Guinness. The check came to $111. Our server, Julia, was cheerful. The place deserves three and a half stars but I was in a generous mood- hence upgraded star count.

The waitstaff here is always friendly and our drink orders were taken pretty quickly, The food here is just so-so. It's fine, but nothing really special. We ordered the Corned Beef sliders, which came as an order of three for $14.40. The sliders are literally just corned beef and mustard. No cheese and nothing else extra on them. We also got the American nachos, which again, are fine, but nothing special, and to add chicken or chili is a $6 upcharge. Atmosphere is good - what you would expect of an Irish pub, and they do have nice seating around the bar. I think this is a good spot to visit if you are in the area, but not worth a long drive.
