Cozy , Irish pub great for game day shenanigans or date night! The staff are always friendly and fast to take your orders. The food is amazing. Besides the usual pub fare, there are traditional Irish dishes, and everything arrives quickly. Great for groups! read more

Flood was the standard Irish Pub Fare, consistence and tasted fresh. The service wS at the bar and the bar person was attentive and provided good service. Typical Irish Pub , it was clean but maybe needed am upgrade, they may distract from it authenticity. read more

The food here was amazing! We stopped here for an early dinner and the sandwiches are huge, I also have never had cucumbers as something that's brought to the table when you sit down, but they were a great snack. The service was awesome, very attentive and they gave good recommendations. All the food in this area is very expensive compared to where I'm from, but I do feel I got what the price was worth in this meal! Good vibes and even better food. read more

Would actually give a 4.5 but I'll round up :) Really fun to catch a Liverpool game, even though I'm not the biggest sports fan; the environment was lively, friendly, and fun! Good service. Decently priced. Would only prefer a vegan option or two on the menu. read more

Have been here a bunch of times and it's always excellent. Was there New Years morning 2026 right as they opened. Wonderful service: quick, efficient, friendly. Awesome food: bangers and mash so good, partner had Irish breakfast which was also very tasty they said. All in all 10/10 another great experience at Murphy's. read more

It's always busy, so waiter service is not always good, but bar service is always on point! Their wings are great, the chicken sandwich is wonderful too. Hot and fresh fries. Always friendly. Great espresso martini. read more

We were on the hunt for a burger and we got a good one in this casual bar. I liked the atmosphere a lot, seemed friendly and not too fussy. Their burgers were huge, easily could have split one with my sister. The fries were thicc, crispy and perfectly cooked on the inside. But my favorite...were the wings. Perfectly cooked, perfectly seasoned. Next time I'd skip the burgers and stick to the wings. Does not come with any carrots or celery though. read more

Murphy's Providence - Murphy's burger, fries and curry sauce - Irish Pub Near Me - Providence, Rhode Island

Just a really fun Pub right in the middle of things. Directly across from the convention center, Omni and Marriott Courtyard. The weak point is Murphy's supports LFC, oh well lol. Good wings, habenero has some bite. Go to the deli sandwiches. They are fantastic. The Irish Poutine is fun (and tasty). Come grab a Guiness. read more

Sat at the bar for lunch on a week day. The menu is very nice with a variety of salads, stuffed quahogs (local fare), Irish inspired dishes, wings, sandwiches, burgers and entrees. Pub style food. They also offer breakfast sandwiches, and lunch specials. The bartenders who helped us during our visit were all very friendly. The restaurant interior is dark wood, a variety of seating, high ceilings. Very comfortable and clean. We all enjoyed our meals. Although the presentation was not as glamorous as the website photos, they were still tasty and filling and we wouldn't hesitate to return. If you enjoy Irish pub atmosphere, friendly staff, local craft beer, and an eclectic menu, give Murphy's a try. read more

During our conference this was the place to hang out after hours or grab lunch... I am so glad Murphy's is across the street from the convention center. The lobster roll is delicious, especially with piping hot tots. I went back for dinner on my last night and got the fish and chips... I haven't had fish n chips that good in YEARS! I had the best time eating my fish while listening to the best tunes in a cooler than cool Irish pub. Our server took great care of use during our lobster roll lunch and the bartender took awesome care of me at the bar for dinner. I will definitely be back with a friend, family or an escape by myself. read more

Murphy's has been my go-to restaurant in downtown for decades. I'm a huge fan of the Ruben, I can't NOT get it every time, while my company tried the Manhattan burger. He took one bite and said how it was SO GOOD! Service was excellent and atmosphere was comfortable as always. read more

Are you ready for one of the best Reuben sandwiches you've ever had? The corned beef on this sandwich was "like butter"... Soooo tender, no chewy bits at all. The flavors of the cheese, kraut and the 1000 island dressing on the side... Everything was dreamy. read more

Great place a couple blocks from the Amica Center, nice crowd but we were able to get a table fairly quickly. I had the Bangers and Mash and that was a good combination (and something that fit in well with an Irish pub/grill). Nice sausages, mashed potatoes, fried onions and some gravy on top. Also had a nice broccoli and cornbread on the side. Good beer on tap too, a nice place to stop before watching a hockey game at the Amica Center. read more

We came here for lunch after not many other restaurants open. The place was pretty empty and we had our pick of tables. We ordered lobster rolls since it was our last day on the vacation and the waitress told us they "really stuffed them". $34 per roll later (plus extra for a gluten free roll) they barely had any filling in them. Disappointing. The lobster was fine but hardly any chunks at all. My bigger complaint was that I ordered a gluten free roll and side salad no croutons to ensure that my meal was safe. When the order came, the chef left the croutons on the salad. In my opinion if someone orders a gluten free roll and states that they have an allergy, it should be common sense to leave out the croutons. read more

Definitely an Irish pub. The ambience of the interior like an old saloon. The service was fast and friendly. Was a little warm inside due to the weather but was okay. I ordered a sandwich Italian. I was in town for business so I only stopped in for takeout. The burger was slightly undercooked but nothing drastic. I ordered medium, it was medium rare. This review is solely based off of the Irish breakfast, we got here around 9:30 am on a Sunday in the hopes of grabbing a proper full Irish. Server was pleasant bartender was pleasant which is mainly why this is not a one star review. We got our food and both black and white pudding was barely cooked, beans were what i could only describe as brown beans in water not proper Heinz Beans and they came out ice cold not even a bit warm. rashers were cooked to the point of it being like American bacon and was a bit worried to eat them because they were this off white color, bangers were the only thing that were decent on the plate the home fries were borderline raw potatoes crunched in an undercooked potatoes type of way. Ordered eggs over medium they came out runny like a sunny side egg, Just overall disappointed, if it were just these mistakes were made completely understand but we were the first and only customers in there so just poor kitchen oversight is what this sums up to, Hoping the owner is actually Irish and sees this and takes a look at what's being served as an "Irish breakfast" . Overall the bar is nice good vibe just steer clear of the "Irish breakfast" read more

I visited Murphy's on a Sunday afternoon to watch some football and was pleasantly surprised. The ambiance is a cozy Irish pub with plenty of TV screens - no need to crane your neck to catch the game you want to see. It's seat yourself so we were able to snag a booth directly in front of a huge projected bills v eagles game. It was a little chilly due to the proximity to exit door but that's not their fault. Service was fast, attentive and polite. We were hoping to find some game time apps but the menu was a bit lacking there - good entree selection though. The food was great - I had the smokehouse and was bowled over by how flavorful it was. My sister's eggplant parm was huge and also good. Would visit again! read more

We had a great experience at Murphy's. We decided to take advantage of their Happy Hour and got the nachos and chicken tenders for half price. The draft beer was only $3. The food was really good. The tender were very crunchy and well seasoned. We got the teriyaki and honey mustard sauces, the latter we liked, the former not so much. The nachos had a Guinness chili topping on it and it was very filling and tasty. Candiss was our bartender/ server and she was full of warmth, smiles and fun conversation! She knew most of the patrons. Seems like a nice neighborhood hangout. read more

We came at 12:45 on a Saturday and it was pretty slow. It looked like each server had 2-4 tables. Our food was great. We had the Luna and a Caesar salad. The sandwich was excellent and we will be coming back for it. The service was subpar. Rachel was our server, she dropped off menus without asking for drinks, once our food was in she was pretty MIA. We ran out of drinks and I tried to catch her attention for over 10 minutes. She was standing at the entrance to the back talking with another server and didn't come to our table. I finally went to the bar and ask another server to refill our drinks, which she did. Our server came back to check on us and I was going to ask for another item and before I could she said "oh you are good" and walked away. Definitely disappointed with the service, i would totally understand if they were busy and she was in the weeds, but it was especially frustrating to see our server just talking. read more

Loved this place! After finding out the place I wanted to go was closed & driving around for 45 minutes we finally asked the valley at the Graduate (also an amazing hotel) where to go & he recommended Murphy's which was just a short walk from the hotel. We had a stuffed clam (forgot the name) which was yummy & like stuffing! We also had a Ruben & another sandwich. Both were sooo good. My daughter who "wasn't hungry" finished hers off!! The best part of Murphy's was talking to our waitress, Elaine!! She was friendly & outgoing. I would've talk to her all night. She gave us wonderful suggestions for the rest of our trip. Quick service. Good atmosphere and nice wait staff. I got the chef salad that was big enough for an entree.
