He was so nice to my work colleagues, let us bring 3 boxes of pizza in to eat and was hilarious. The whole bar is filled with old collectible items and things you'll find out a pawn shop. Dartboard and pool table is upstairs. And the prices!! 4 of us got 2 beers and 2 hard alcoholic drinks - and we were charged only $14. Can't wait to be back!

One of them suggested that we hang out later in the night at this place called the ETC Lounge. We were skeptical, however we frequent hole in wall spots so off we go. Needless to say we've been back several times. A great affordable dive bar with nice clientele. Everyone is very welcoming to us. The owner Sally is trip and our favorite bartender Nancy treats us like gold. Shout out to patrons Kevin and Carol (she introduced us to the place). Tip: This place can get loud and rowdy late night, all safe and fun though. Tip 2: This place is in back parking lot and you definitely could drive right by it. Keep an eye out. Okay, so you dont come here looking for a wide beer selection, good food or high class entertainment. This is the last stop on your way home or a bar to perch and play Keno. If you're in the Valley Falls area (why would you be?), and see a dim yellow light lit at what appears to be an old church on a shady street and an Open flag blowing in the breeze, stop in! They may not remember your name that night, but the regulars will love to share a drink with a newbie.

i'll be approaching the review in 2 parts , one as a patron and one as a performer …read more as a patron , I have attended many live music events , seeing many local bands perform . the sound there is excellent , you are able to hear every instrument with out any trouble . the drink prices are reasonable and the staff have always been courteous and welcoming . as a performer , I have played many live music nights as well as booked a few "big names " to play a show with . Kc's has always been welcoming and have a real interest in perpetuating the local music seen . they provide band a place to reach new fans and play for there existing ones as well . Kc's is not in it for just the money , they always have cared for bands and the scene in general . the cover prices charged to see 4 -5 bands is always reasonable . band are even offered the chance to make money if they can draw people to this venue . Bands are not charged to play like other places . they also have a large raised stage to fit many band members and there equipment . the sound technicians are there for the music and actually care about what you sound like , unlike many other venues .

Truly a cool foot in the door if it's someplace you are comfortable. On the nights with out shows it's a chill spot with great engaging staff. The issue I have is that the night we went they charged us a cover to see the last 15 minutes of the live music and the bar was open another and half after. The drinks too were not the best. Everything about a place like this is up my alley, but the News just fell short with drinks and service. We'd go back, but we're not going to seek out a visit to this venue. Thanks
