My first time to RI Spirits was for a Yelp event where I purchased the Coffee & Black Walnut Vodka. I Rand out and stopped in to grab another two bottles one for myself and one for a gift. There is parking for us location. On entering I was greeted by one of the owners. Th place has been decorated for Christmas and boi was I surprised at how they transformed it. I love everything about it. There was a table on entering where you can place your order for any bottles, while my order was put together I decided to sit at the bar and order a drink I went with the coffee milk eggnog. The presentation was nice and all though it was good, I felt it wasn't a drink size but more of a shot size. It had a big block of ice in the glass which didn't leave room for the actual drink. I feel for the price I would go for the shot next time, yes I said next time I will still visit this place it is welcoming and a laid back chill location. Everyone was friendly. My order was nicely wrapped and gift bagged I also did get two boxes of their chocolate they are delicious. It's a little hard to find, as in the gps takes you to the right spot, but you're gonna ask -"is this right?". Yes, it is. A fair size parking lot is located across the street from the entrance or park on the street for free. In fine weather you can hang out in their parking area where they have a canopy set up, get a beverage, play some corn hole. On our visit the AQI was over 130, so we headed indoors. Across the street there is a sandwich board near the door. Enter there, up a short stair (half a flight give or take) and through the well signed door. Yea! You're here! The space includes 3 rooms. A variety of high tops, sofas, tables and bar seating. The bar is straight through and on the right. No purse hooks yet, but I am assured they are 'on the list'. This is a new location for them and still a work in progress. They sell bottles of their in-house made gins vodkas and lemon or grapefruitcello. If you're interested in seeing their distillery, ask the bartender if tours are available. The drink menu rotates or they cab make you a cocktail of your design. See the menu for details on that. As they only serve their liquors, there are limitations. A few snack items are available including gluten free cookies. Yum! The staff are all super personable. The atmosphere is laid back. The ambience in the service here is always four stars. I tried their two new alcohols yesterday. One was a pumpkin spice vodka, and the other was an orange liquor. I absolutely hate anything that is pumpkin spice, but I really loved this pumpkin spice vodka. You could easily drink this straight on ice. It had a nice slightly sweet pumpkin taste. I also really loved their orange liquor. It also had a sweet taste, but not too sweet and also would taste very good straight over ice or added to a drink. I highly recommend coming here and trying these two new additions to the liquor they make before they run out. read more

I had the winning bid @ the Glad Law summer auction and as part of the basket was a private tasting. The venue is amazing! Beautifully decorated, warm and inviting. The tasting was led by Cathy and she led us through the story of the distillery while having us taste the amazing vodkas and gins. A few of our groups favorites were the strawberry and rhubarb gin and the coffee walnut vodka and we also loved the soon to be released save the bay Gin. Fun place with great drinks! It's walkable from the commuter rail station. The space itself is really nice and spacious; they have tables and couches. They also have games for you to play. Definitely a cool spot to hang with some friends or do some work. Since it is a tasting room, there is a limit on how many drinks you can get. We were able to sample before we ordered. We got: Spring Coffee Martini, Rhode Island Iced Tea, Limoncello Appletini and Bankers Lunch. Highly recommend the Spring Coffee Martini, that was my favorite. read more

This is a hidden gem. They have been in business for 5 years. I went with my husband for date night. He had been once before. It's locally owned and they do everything on site. The drinks we tried are a nice balance of alcohol and sweetness. I was happy because their coffee drinks are made with decaf cold brew and are paired nicely with the vodkas they choose to go with the coffee. Kim the bartender is awesome. She can tell you everything about the drinks and what pairs well with them. They also have a board on the wall that list special drinks and events that they are having. They do not have a kitchen for food but you can bring food to location. Last call is at 8:15 since they close at 8:30. You will not be disappointed especially if you love vodka and gin! read more

We recently discovered Rhodium Distillery and have been multiple times now. They have some amazing cocktails and even collaborations with others, such as Working Man Distillers. The space is open and a lot of options for seating. They have comfy couches in the back. The staff are very friendly and they check in on your regularly, making sure you are well taken care of. They have a very welcoming atmosphere and we love it! You can buy bottles of their spirits too! We usually get a couple bottles when we are there. I had a Rhodium cocktail made by the bartenders serving at The Guild beer garden a few weeks ago. The eclectic flavors they had interested me so I knew I had to visit. We visited on a Saturday afternoon and were the only people in there. The parking is at the end of a dead end street, that ends at the river. We weren't sure we were in the right place, because the other business there wasn't open, but once we walked downstairs we saw the bar. The space is so welcoming. The bartender was amazing and selection of cocktails was very good. They sold Bottles of everything on the menu and also offered flights. We got to take a peek at the distilling room and play some games. We didn't eat, but next time we will as the tapa menu looked great. Great little hang out or before dinner place. I've tried two of their cocktails, and I'm sold. Also, the space is inviting, with a mixture of bar seats, couches, and tables. It's *very* cozy. I sampled my friend's gin greyhound, which was lovely and refreshing, and very adult. Meanwhile, I ordered a "coffee milk," made with vodka and black walnut bitters, milk and coffee syrup. Yes, I am a child. It tasted like a spiked Yoo-hoo, and I was very happy. (Oh, I lied! I also tried a cranberry martini. My exact words: "It's very...vodka forward." This is a beautiful space! They opened in March 2019 and have done so much in that time. Easy, free parking outside. Great signage makes it easy to find. Cathy and Carol are the welcoming owners. There were a good amount of people there on a Sunday afternoon. We were helped immediately and given ice water and menus. They create both craft cocktails and have a straight spirit tasting menu. We went for the latter wanting to taste the spirits. They have three gins, several vodka and vodka based spirits. We tried 4-5. I'll let you find your own favorites. RI Spirits distills their own Rhodium brand vodka, and from that gin, in this very cozy space in an old mill down a dead end road behind Tolman, on the river bank in Pawtucket. The location may make it a bit hard to find - but it's worth it.! (You'll also know where the new home of the Burbage Theatre will be come fall, and also find the wonderful Mad Dog Cafe). The interior is large and bright, with a nice bar and many tables, regular four tops & several cafe height tables and chairs that can be moved around; also, sofas and easy chairs available around the fireplace too. There's a nice outdoor space abutting the river, but it's a longer walk than expected through this old mill building (follow the chalked arrows) to find it. We tried a few tastings from the nine gins, vodkas, and liqueurs available. The vodka is distilled from organic corn. Our tasting, the flagship Rhodium vodka is distilled 7 times, the last over local apples. There's no apple taste remaining, but the vodka is bright and smooth because of them. Next up, the perfect Rhodium gin; then the one swallow that had too much going on for me but that others loved - Pink/Botanical gin (still being perfected). My favorite two tastes came next: coffee liqueur (subtly sweet, with notes of chocolate and cardamom; and - holy cow! - the limoncello. I thought about tasting all of the other spirits available, but moved instead to cocktails. We ordered the vegetable chips, which were surprising, and surprisingly tasty, dehydrated thin mixed vegetable slices. For cocktails, I had a scrumptious gin martini with a twist, not an olive. He had the coffee milk: vodka, Autocrat coffee syrup, milk, and black walnut shavings. I'm coming back to get his drink, likely next weekend!! read more

The first thing you notice walking into Rhodium is the eclectic vibe it brings. the bar area is beautifully designed and even has a couch to relax on with a cocktail. We were handed a frozen watermelon cocktail on entry which set the tone for the night. we were also given a small charcuterie style grab bag full of nuts fruit meat and cheese which was a perfect accompaniment to the cocktails we were given to try. There were four craft cocktails paired with chocolate that we got to try each better than the last. After the cocktails we were given a short tour of the distillery by Rhodiums owner which verified what I had assumed that this is a gin lovers paradise! She showed us all the flowers and botanicals she was drying for the gins which prompted my girlfriend and I to buy a few bottles to take home and give as gifts. read more

RI Spirits new location is really nice and easy to get to. They have a fenced in parking lot and street parking out front. I especially love the vibe inside the tasting room, its like hardwood floors and brick, huge windows with plenty of light, very chic decor and the bar is shiny and new. My favorite part of the bar itself is that the chairs are big butt friendly, this is super important to me when choosing a seat- nothing is more uncomfortable than a tiny hard chair that has no support. The staff is always nice and very cool folks to chat with. It doesnt need to be included in this review but should be celebrated- this is the only LGBTQ+ owned distillery brand in New England. The space is extremely inclusive and I am proud to be an ally to the community and support this business. The booze itself, Rhodium, is delicious, and totally justified in it's price. I love the citron vodka, I prefer it in my cosmos at home. Would love to see more Rhode Island establishments have it available at their bars for cocktails. The menu for snacks is minimal and light, as they have no kitchen- but dont let that stop you from visiting. there are plenty of eateries nearby to grab a bite. read more

A little hidden gem in downtown Pawtucket in a unique and very social environment. The drinks were superb and it seems the place still has many more liquors in the making that makes me want to return over and over again to see what's new. I love how these lovely ladies set up a distillery that has all the comfort of a lounge. I went for opening weekend and tried the tasting flight. The vodka was good but tasted like any other vodka you could get. The gin however, was amazing!! It didn't have any of the storing juniper taste and went down so smoothly. I also really enjoyed the red vodka and plan on going back once it's available for sale to buy. I love how they do botanical based liquors, it definitely was one of the things that drew me in. The prices are reasonable and the cocktail menu seems so beautifully crafted. If you're in the area or even coming to town to visit, you must try this new local distillery. My girlfriend invited me for a drink in this local distillery and bar and I was very positively impressed by their spirits and their lovely location. I had their Cranberry Bog cocktail and my girlfriend had the Fields and Flowers cocktail. The Fields and Flowers was simply sublime, made with their Rhodium Forager's gin, already flavored with locally foraged elderberry, red clover, rose hip, and autumnberry, and further enhanced with lavender syrup and llemon juice. Their bar is nicely decorated and you can see the river waters flowing by from their tables by the windows, and have a nice conversation while sipping your cocktail. Stopped in here on a Saturday afternoon, it's in your typical industrial location. With that said the owners and staff turned their business into a fantastic location! Literally on the banks of the Blackstone River, very bright plenty of windows which were open offering a pleasant breeze throughout their establishment. The two ladies tending the bar were very friendly, attentive and their customer service was fantastic. They were quick to offer up numerous drink suggestions. I had the three choice sampler with their vodka, the forager gin and the coffee vodka. All were very well made, flavorful, extremely smooth and easy drinking. They even offered a small glass of ice water with my sampler and kept refilling it when it was empty. All of these factors made for a great experience for our group of four. I had an awesome experience opening weekend. I was the first one there on Saturday so Kara was kind enough to do a quick tour and explain the process. The vodka is distilled 6 times in CT and sent here to be distilled once more. Gin is made with that delicious vodka and has light notes of juniper and other aromatics. Started with a tasting of vodka, gin, limoncello, and red vodka. All were smooth and tasty but I have to say the gin far exceeded my expectations. I've never had a gin taste so light and smooth. A definite unexpected highlight. After the tasting, I migrated over to bar side for some mixed drinks. I tried most of them over the course of two days. The Ginger Rogers and Coffee Milk were the rockstars of the menu. So smooth, crisp, and tasty. I'm looking forward to see what Kara and Cathy come out with next! A must try! Cheers!!! read more
