So Much goodness!

Nice renovations to the tasting room. Great atmosphere and service! Note now not open until 2:30 Saturdays though.

My first time to RI Spirits was for a Yelp event where I purchased the Coffee & Black Walnut Vodka. I Rand out and stopped in to grab another two bottles one for myself and one for a gift. There is parking for us location. On entering I was greeted by one of the owners. Th place has been decorated for Christmas and boi was I surprised at how they transformed it. I love everything about it. There was a table on entering where you can place your order for any bottles, while my order was put together I decided to sit at the bar and order a drink I went with the coffee milk eggnog. The presentation was nice and all though it was good, I felt it wasn't a drink size but more of a shot size. It had a big block of ice in the glass which didn't leave room for the actual drink. I feel for the price I would go for the shot next time, yes I said next time I will still visit this place it is welcoming and a laid back chill location. Everyone was friendly. My order was nicely wrapped and gift bagged I also did get two boxes of their chocolate they are delicious. The Christmas theme I was told will be up thru part if not all of January and you are welcomed to bring your own food ( they do not offer food for purchase) .

Popped in after leaving an event up the street. Super cute old mill. Very friendly staff. Pop in have a drink and grab a bottle of gin for the road. I think this would be a really nice venue for a private event if anyone is looking.

It's a little hard to find, as in the gps takes you to the right spot, but you're gonna ask -"is this right?". Yes, it is. A fair size parking lot is located across the street from the entrance or park on the street for free. In fine weather you can hang out in their parking area where they have a canopy set up, get a beverage, play some corn hole. On our visit the AQI was over 130, so we headed indoors. Across the street there is a sandwich board near the door. Enter there, up a short stair (half a flight give or take) and through the well signed door. Yea! You're here! The space includes 3 rooms. A variety of high tops, sofas, tables and bar seating. The bar is straight through and on the right. No purse hooks yet, but I am assured they are 'on the list'. This is a new location for them and still a work in progress. They sell bottles of their in-house made gins vodkas and lemon or grapefruitcello. If you're interested in seeing their distillery, ask the bartender if tours are available. The drink menu rotates or they cab make you a cocktail of your design. See the menu for details on that. As they only serve their liquors, there are limitations. A few snack items are available including gluten free cookies. Yum! The staff are all super personable. The atmosphere is laid back. Definitely a spot to bring out of town guests for some 'local flavor', a quiet drink with a friend, or meet up with the whole group!

Fun place with great drinks! It's walkable from the commuter rail station. The space itself is really nice and spacious; they have tables and couches. They also have games for you to play. Definitely a cool spot to hang with some friends or do some work. Since it is a tasting room, there is a limit on how many drinks you can get. We were able to sample before we ordered. We got: Spring Coffee Martini, Rhode Island Iced Tea, Limoncello Appletini and Bankers Lunch. Highly recommend the Spring Coffee Martini, that was my favorite.

Great atmosphere, amazing cocktails, and the best spirits around. The Newport Restaurant Group Gin is my go-to gin for my home bar and you can only get bottles here.

Atmosphere: step into a basement full of goodness! Very cool atmosphere. Everything from board games, to a bar area, to comfy couches! Service: the two women working when we visited were both awesome. Very sweet and friendly. Drinks: great drinks!! and several of the drinks could be turned into mocktails. A definite WIN for this pregnant lady!

This is a hidden gem. They have been in business for 5 years. I went with my husband for date night. He had been once before. It's locally owned and they do everything on site. The drinks we tried are a nice balance of alcohol and sweetness. I was happy because their coffee drinks are made with decaf cold brew and are paired nicely with the vodkas they choose to go with the coffee. Kim the bartender is awesome. She can tell you everything about the drinks and what pairs well with them. They also have a board on the wall that list special drinks and events that they are having. They do not have a kitchen for food but you can bring food to location. Last call is at 8:15 since they close at 8:30. You will not be disappointed especially if you love vodka and gin!

WOW what a cute little gem! The vibe is cozy, service is great, and there's free parking across the building! I loved this distillery because they offer local ingredients, new and unique flavors, and snacks! If you love gin, and vodka they have products by the bottle for sale which is impossible to just pick 1 flavor "Don't say I didn't warn you lol" overall this is definitely a location I will be coming back to.

I had a Rhodium cocktail made by the bartenders serving at The Guild beer garden a few weeks ago. The eclectic flavors they had interested me so I knew I had to visit. We visited on a Saturday afternoon and were the only people in there. The parking is at the end of a dead end street, that ends at the river. We weren't sure we were in the right place, because the other business there wasn't open, but once we walked downstairs we saw the bar. The space is so welcoming. The bartender was amazing and selection of cocktails was very good. They sold Bottles of everything on the menu and also offered flights. We got to take a peek at the distilling room and play some games. We didn't eat, but next time we will as the tapa menu looked great. Great little hang out or before dinner place. I don't know if they do parties but I'd love to have one here. Great sitting area and lighting.

This place is friendly and very enjoyable. The servers are helpful and the spirits are actually tasty!

A fantastic gin experience! For someone who is not a gin drinker, my coffee orange martini was SUPERB. The 4 of us all LOVED our drinks. The atmosphere in their new space is very pleasant & the staff is super nice, knowledgeable & accommodating. Definitely a must when in Providence

Her drink was perfect, served in an (antique?) jar. The bartenders were very friendly. And overall, the place had a cool, casual vibe.

Together with Kafe Lila, Machines With Magnets is forcing me to reconsider the city of Pawtucket,…read morewhich I had previously thought of as "the place where Slater Mill and the DMV are." Currently I think of Pawtucket as "the place where Slater Mill and the DMV and Kafe Lila and Machines With Magnets are," but if I spend enough time at KL and MWM, my view will undoubtedly become more nuanced. Machines With Magnets is a recording studio, art gallery, and performance space that has fast become my favorite music venue and possibly one of my favorite places in Rhode Island. The inside is beautiful, with two large rooms decked out in cool white paint and beautiful hardwood flooring (one floor is stenciled with an absolutely stunning pattern). Art of varied quality adorns the walls. I have now had the pleasure of attending two shows here--an electronic music performance and Quintron + Miss Pussycat--and I enjoyed them both. Watching bands perform with art as a backdrop is a pleasure. The sound is good and the venue is run fairly efficiently. At the latter show, they quickly cycled through four bands by alternating the rooms in which each band performed. Very smart. The crowds are fun and interesting. Drinks, Dunkin' Donuts coffee, and even pizza are sold for reasonable prices. During my first visit, a friend turned to me and said, "I wish I lived here." "I wish I could DJ here," I replied. Until either of these things happens, I'll be stopping in periodically for more music and art. You should, too.

The whole place had less than a dozen tables - but oddly, we were there for an hour and more than half of the tables remained empty. Not a huge deal just felt weird at the bar. Eclectic decor and menu. Mostly tapas (my husband had the mushrooms) but some main meals - I had the prime rib. But when I asked if I could get the potatoes without chives I was told they were premade and couldn't customize, so not sure if they are made in house or brought in. Delicious either way - even with the scallions. Prime rib wasn't quite medium well but it was well cooked so I didn't send it back. There is some foul language in some of the stickers on the kitchen door (and you have to go through that door to get to the restrooms). And the manager was a little off putting to us when he learned we were from out of town he suggested a visit to the dispensary. He also commented on how dressed up we were - when both us us were just in silk button up shirts. The meal for the two of us came to $100 with only one glass of wine so it's not like this is a cutoff shorts and string t kind of place. My husband wasn't bothered by the comment but I didn't like it - we were also the only same sexed couple in the place so maybe I was a little on edge. Seemed very much a place for locals and a couple of tables were there when we got there were still going strong when we left. So definitely a hang out spot.

Very cool cocktail bar in Providence!…read more Stopped in here after a lovely dinner and comedy show. It was super mysterious trying to find this place since it's located in what looks like an abandoned building. To get in you need to press a button on the intercom system and say "Juniper" and then they will buzz you in. A very unique experience for sure. We split one of their tequila cocktails which was just okay but would love to come back here to try some others. Highly recommend stopping in here either before or after dinner. Cheers

The place is nestled away inside the Room & Works building with just a call box and no sign, so make sure you know the password! We came in with another group in front of us, so unfortunately, we didn't get the chance to say the password ourselves, but we'd love to return for the full experience! Be warned that the place is quite small, so you'll most likely have to wait since they do not take reservations. For a party of two on a Saturday night, our wait was around 40 minutes, and we were eventually seated by the bar. I will say that the seating arrangements could be thought out a little better because we had to play musical chairs quite a few times throughout the night. That aside, the drinks themselves were quite good! You can tell the bartenders are very skilled and passionate about crafting their cocktails. For any Star Wars fans out there, the tiki drinks are served in mugs featuring some of your favorite characters, which was such a fun touch! Overall, the drinks were on the pricier side, but I'd say they were well worth it. Definitely a fun spot to check out!

There are two entrances, but we came in through the door in the back by the parking lot. We passed by a couple more private tables and walked towards their main dining area which was lively. There is a wraparound bar in the center, high tables all around the perimeter, and lots of TVs with maybe three games playing at once. It took a bit for someone to come around and take our order but in that time, we had the chance to explore their menu and specials including half off wings (until 10 pm). We used the coupon for a free wiener and ordered some spicy wing flavor - not buffalo (only because they ran out of hot honey), honey mustard wings, and the 342 burger with onion rings to share. The food came out altogether; it was warm and looked delicious. The wings came 6 to an order with celery sticks and blue cheese or ranch. I was a little disappointed when I noticed the skin of the chicken wasn't too crispy (maybe the sauce contributed to softening it). Although it appeared the wings were lightly covered in sauce, it was still enough to give it some flavor. The size of the wings were good. The hot dog was very good. It came on a regular bun (it would've been so much better if it were toasted), with some meat sauce, onions and jalapenos. I could not tell if the wiener was all beef but it was delicious so l am going to guess it was. They do have $1 hot dogs, maybe not prepared so elaborately, on certain days / times. Lastly, the burger was incredibly delicious and towered high because of the onion rings. It was so simple (lettuce, tomato, cheese, sauce, and onion rings), but so great. We chose to have the burger cooked medium well so it was still very juicy and flavorful. I did not taste the cheese too much, but the onion rings gave it a slight crunch and added sweetness. The tomatoes and lettuce were very fresh and the sauce helped provide moisture. The fries were not memorable but rather, just decent. Although the service was slow in the beginning, it got a lot better the longer we stayed and we got everything we needed. Prices are also very reasonable here considering portion sizes. They seem to also have fun activities throughout the week like trivia and open mic comedy.
