They serve light lunch and dinner fare including sandwich/burger plates, salads, soup/chowder, appetizers, loaded spuds, specials, plus fish & chips and baked cod on Fridays & Saturdays. They also serve breakfast on the weekends. The bar offers a few beers on tap and cans and mixed drinks. There is seating around the bar, table seating and booths overlooking the golf course. I took a seat up at the bar and started out with water, which was a bottle of Poland Spring ($1.50) served with a glass of ice. I ordered the Fish & Chips ($14.99 plus tax) which took about 22 minutes to come out. The plate was comprised of a large crispy deep fried beer battered cod filet, standard fries, tartar sauce, and a cup of sweet coke slaw (wet texture), malt vinegar and ketchup bottles brought over. The food was a bit greasy, but it tasted just fine. After I was done, I requested the check which was $17.69 with tax and before tip. Overall, a good filling lunch and adequate bar service.

You can find all updates on their instagram under the handle Rogue on the Road. The food truck is longer than the average food truck. The fresh wood colored paint on the truck shows off their rustic colors from the restauraunt. The coolest feature of the truck is the undercarriage lights. At night, the lights change color to the beat of the music on the truck! Now let's talk about the best part: the food! Rogue on the Road will be offering a similiar menu to the restauraunt. It is a smaller rotating menu, including modified versions of their main staples and truck specials. I was able to catch them at Buttonwoods Brewery at one of their first pop ups. Pictured below is the Short Rib Burger: Aquidneck Farm grass fed beef, stout braised short rib, pepper jack cheese, caramelized onion jam, honey mustard aioli, arugula, fried onion strings, buttered brioche bun with a side of potato salad. It took at least another 40 minutes for the food to arrive arrive We each had the two meat combo I had the Boston ribs with smoked brisket, onion strings, coleslaw, and cornbread. The ribs and the brisket had so much pepper that I could not taste the barbecue sauce. The Boston ribs were meaty, but at one end of each rib there were small bones, and the brisket was peppery and dry. I put extra barbecue sauce on the brisket, but couldn't taste it over the pepper. The meats and the onion strings were very greasy. The coleslaw was good. My husband had the brisket and a small dark meat quarter of a chicken. He also had the potato salad which had small ham pieces in it and a very, very sweet mashed candy sweet potatoes. Our lunch lasted over an hour then we had planned. We will not be returning.

We caught them at the Stanley Woolen Mill parking lot and ordered: Lobster Roll (Original Size) - $20.95 Harvest Turkey Sandwich - $13.75 Mashed Potatoes with Gravy - $2.50 "Call Tag: F Troop" Total with tip: $43.78 Once you place your order, you get a fun retro call tag. Ours was F Troop, while others got classics like The Brady Bunch. The soundtrack? The theme from The Monkees. Nice touch. About 10 minutes later, our order was up. The "original" lobster roll may be their smaller option, but it's still generously sized--served in a classic New England split-top bun and packed with lobster. Fresh, simple, and done right. Then there's the Harvest Turkey Sandwich--labeled "The BIG-ONE" for good reason. It weighs in at well over 1¼ pounds and lives up to the name. It's massive. Adding the mashed potatoes and gravy turned the second half of that sandwich into dinner later on, which worked out perfectly. Bottom line: Yummies Drive-Up is, in fact, very yummy. Tip: To reduce wait time, call or text your order in the morning. Skip the online form--texting is the way to go.
