I love me some Cava, unfortunately this location was having a rough night to say the least. Line missing some of the basics from crazy feta, cucumbers, chicken extremely dried out. Line was cluttered and dirty overall. First crew member was friendly and genuinely apologetic for being out of items on the line (would have been a one star review otherwise). Second crew member was simply pushing people through not even thanking customers for their order when ringing out. Dining area was dirty, I took the last napkin in all of the dispensers. Tables were sticky and trash cans were overflowing. Even after small rush and everyone cleared out no one cleaned tables, took out trash or restocked. Plus didn't even get a pita for my bowl. Will likely use other Cava location in the future. Hopefully just an off night, diners beware! read more

Not a bad establishment and pretty good quality for a chain restaurant. It'll never compare to Sonia's which is just down the street but with them being closed we wanted a quick bite. I had the make your own bowl with falafel, basmati rice, along with various toppings and sauces. It took us a while to be served as there was only one employee making the food and cashing people out. The food itself was good. I particularly liked the falafel as I felt they were very moist. I will say that either they need to fill the bowls more or make the bowls smaller. The portions seemed tiny. Even though it was a Sunday for lunch we were able to find a table quickly. The table was a little dirty but nothing too surprising and when I was finished with my bowl an employee asked if I wanted him to clear my space for me. I thought that was sweet. read more

Horrible place to go if you have a limit to your lunch break unless you show up at least an hour after scheduled pick up time. Food is absolutely not even near being worth it in any situation. I have been on 3 occasions now. Each experience noted below. Cava is basically the Mediterranean-esque version of chipotle. Build your own bowl or pita wrap. 1st Trip: Love it here! First timer approved! Made my own bowl: Basmati rice, harissa and spicy falafel with honey chicken and honey harissa dressing. Yum!! Got the strawberry citrus drink even my picky 7yr old enjoyed. Always very clean inside. My only upset was a specific employee would not have good serving size on my scoops compared to other people before me so was thinking why there wasn't better fair quantity control there and I felt Lowkey cheated. 2nd trip: Got the same employee that cheated me out on servings and his quantity control was under par yet again when I looked at others bowls. ugh but whatever. Got the same order but ordered pita chips this time. Love them! Fresh. 3rd trip TODAY: New employee with better quantity control that gave fair serving scoops compared to other bowls. Got my same order. Pita chips were fresh again. Wanted falafel and they didn't have them ready so manager gave me a free drink which was really nice. Bowl, pita chips and (free drink) came to $16.16. If I'm eating any type of bowl it is normally coming from Chipotle and I'm very loyal in that way. However I tried this out for the first time and I was pleasantly surprised. I sooo much wanted to love this place, especially as an alternative to Chipotle. The food itself was fine. I tried the Harissa avocado bowl and the RightRice and greens chicken bowl. I liked the avocado bowl better because it had a wealth of complimentary flavors and a slight spicy kick to it that was more appealing to the ho hum flavor combination of the other bowl. I did expect a little more spice given the Mediterranean flare, but I certainly understand they have to cater to various taste buds. I wanted to try the pita chips but was told they had none ready and they had to be cooked so I passed on it. I was also less than impressed that the guy on the register cut and placed the avocado on my bowl. I was impressed that the avocado was obviously fresh since it was hand cut in front of me, but Restaurant 101 says the person touching the money should not touch the food - especially when the person is not putting on gloves before doing so. I wish I could give it 3.5 stars, but I can't get myself to a 4 given the concern over food handling and lack of prepared product. But I'll try it again and hopefully can up my rating. read more

Absolutely one of our favorite spots to eat lunch, and we often take large groups with us. They do great for in-store orders, as well as to go orders. Wait time around lunch can take 5 to 10 minutes to get to the front of the line, otherwise it's usually just one to two minutes. For our online orders, even the large ones, they have always been correct, no mistake mistakes. Highly recommend this place for their food, flavor, freshness, portion, size, and friendly service. read more

I read the reviews for CAVA and I was slightly concerned, but I knew it wasn't going to stop me! I ordered online for pick-up and when I got there 1 minute before my estimated pick-up time, the food wasn't ready. No biggie, that's on me for being early. What happened next was some of the best customer service I've experienced in ages (I'm not one to usually make a Yelp post, unless it's really bad or absolutely fantastic, this was the latter). A man, who I am assuming was the manager, came out and apologized, told me my bowl would be ready in 45 seconds, put on gloves, and started to make it. After it was done, he then proceeded to give me an extra warm pita and a drink. I was not expecting this, but it was totally appreciated. I ordered a pita falafel wrap and it was just ok. The pita itself was a bit too thick and got soggy real quick because there was too much sauce in it. The flavor was decent though. My fiancé ordered a falafel market spice bowl. It was looking promising until the staff drenched it with dressing at the end that you almost couldn't see what else was in the bowl. One advice is to catch them early to say light on the dressing lol. He also orders pita chips and those things by themselves were really good! The staff was nice overall. It cost me $25 for one bowl and a drink & they really SKIMPED on the falafel & chicken- literally my entire meal was rice & I was not happy about it- especially because of their prices. We love Cava, and usually go to Dedham. This was our first time visiting our new nearby Cava. It was pretty busy on a weekday around lunchtime, and the parking lot was nuts. We both did build your own bowls, and they were good as always. The crazy feta and the 2 types of greens blended together are so delicious, and there are a lot of options for most any kind of diet. Two minuses: there were no forks available of any variety, no plastic nor metal. Luckily, we had some in our vehicle. Also, the spicy falafel, which we both paid extra for, was not even warm, let alone hot. We have appreciated the fresh, hot falafel at the Dedham location on previous visits. Okay, one of us also was a little sad that they were not offered a piece of pita, while the other one was(same staff member, so we don't know why). I came wth my family for lunch on a Friday. The restaurant was clean and well lit. The staff were so friendly and patient since we are new to Cava. There was an older woman training and she was so pleasant and had a smile on as we went down the line making our bowls. The food is well seasoned and is high quality. All the options were filled and we enjoyed a very flavorful and calm lunch. There are unique beverages which are just incredible and healthy. Highly recommend this location! Walked into Cava during their soft Launch two days before their opening. Everyone was very friendly especially the girl at checkout. I hadn't realized that the meals were complimentary for this day so that was a nice surprise. The bowl (chicken and rite rice) was tasty and fresh. This is a welcomed addition to the very mediocre Chipotle and Panera next door. This seems like it will be a great spot for a work lunch once a week. Enough variety and the quality is there. Pita chips were very tasty and some fun refreshing drink choices including the cucumber lime drink I had. The staff still seems to be getting their footing and the experience was a little clunky but I'm sure they'll get it together. Definitely will come back and try some other bowls. I've long awaited for something like CAVA to exist. Similar to Chipotle, you build your bowl as you go. All the ingredients are incredibly flavorful and nutritious. My go to right now is the brown rice bowl (or saffron rice) with chicken, arugula, falafel, feta, avocado, Persian cucumbers, tomatoes, tzatziki, lemon dressing. It's 14 dollars without a drink but it's honestly high quality and well worth it. Friendly service and lots of options to choose from! Will be frequenting this place as my healthy go to. read more

I waited in line with EIGHT people behind me (yes, I counted), and watched one person assist customers while the other FIVE employees stood around.
