Saw Thermia on Instagram and decided to give it a try with my Mom and Sis....Being a Yelper, I went with the OG Chicken, Calamari as an Appetizer and Sticky Toffee Dessert. All the food was tasty but the standout to me was Dessert and I'm NOT a Dessert Guy. The Decor was Hip and the Service was friendly. I give it a 4.3 overall, definitely worth your time! Check out Thermia when you have a chance...

Wow! We LOVED this new spot!!! I brought my family and literally we all walked out saying how we can't wait to come back! My teenagers can be picky, but Thermia hit on every level for them! First - it's so easy to get to and with a huge parking lot - which is always a plus in PVD! The exterior is modern industrial and upscale. The inside is intimate without being intimidating. The service was attentive, super friendly, and funny! Now let's talk about the food! We started with the rib corn. This was different but really good! I wasn't exactly sure how to eat it until I realized it was like a rib! Lol! I thought I could cut into it - but no, you eat it with your hands! We all got the OG chicken - my children got the truffle fries, while we had the roasted potatoes. Wow! This was anything but basic! Perfectly roasted chicken and potatoes, and apparently perfect truffle fries! (I know I'm the only non-fan of truffle fries on the planet - so I can't say for sure! LOL) For sides we got the carrots and zucchini! The carrots - again - WOW - so fun with the hazelnuts - we all raved about these!!!! We like the zucchini but weren't overly jazzed with the sauce - but still enjoyed them. Despite having eaten so much good stuff - we made room for the Dubai cookie! It was chock full of kadif - which my daughter was so happy about! All and all - everyone gave it 5/5 stars! We will be back!!! And thank you for such a great Yelp experience!!

My plus one and I, about to enjoy our date night: Thermia x Yelp

Thermia + Yelp Date Night: What a treat this entire experience was. Love the location--Rising Sun Mills. The place has a charming and classy vibe, the service was attentive and very friendly (the servers all seem happy to be there), the menu is divine, the drink selections are well curated, uniquely crafted in the case of cocktails, and ample. Now the taste test...wow. Each dish is scrumptious and really flavorful yet presented and plated in a delectable manner. Nothing overdone here or overflowing. We especially appreciated the generosity in what our date night included. We relished the experience much that we opted to order shared dessert and coffee. That dessert--Sticky Toffee Pudding--is bomb. Absolutely worth its weight in calories. Are we coming back? That is for certain! I already told 10 friends how amazing this place is.

Loved Thermia! I visited on a Thursday night for a friend's birthday - we reserved for 8 PM and were seated right away. The restaurant ambiance itself is very cozy and intimate. Loved the lighting and artwork on the walls. They unfortunately ran out of their speciality rotisserie chicken for the night, so we ordered their branzino & caesar salad. Both were delicious! Fresh anchovies on the caesar. The branzino was deboned - not too salty and the olives and red peppers complimented it very well. We finished the meal off with their dubai chocolate mochi dessert - super good. Staff was super friendly. Their other menu entree dishes also sounded divine. I'd definitely return!

Absolutely unreal. 10/10 on all fronts. Can't wait to come back!!! There's easy parking, the food is amazing, service is fabulous, decor makes it the cutest little restaurant. I am already booking when to come back with friends. We got the OG chicken and I can't wait to try the others next time. These may have been the best brussel sprouts in the state. You guys rock.

We had a really impressive dinner at Thermia. The waitstaff was friendly and attentive, ready for questions and happy to provide suggestions. We started with a glass of red (the Rioja) and the Strawberry Collins. For appetizers we did the calamari and the grilled octopus. The octopus was incredibly tender and paired well with the couscous/sauce that it was served on. For our main we split the OG chicken with roasted potatoes and a side of brussels. The brussels sprouts were delicious - a great roasted char to them and tossed in a really nice sauce/dressing with a great kick, flavorful but not overpowering. The chicken was juicy and flavorful and the roasted potatoes were crispy and flavorful, served in the juices/gravy of the chicken. Would highly recommend Thermia for dinner and will definitely be returning.

Came here as a guest for the Yelp Elite Date Night event. Recently opened, and Thermia came through. The truffle dijon chicken was excellent, though I might have preferred just a little more sauce on the dish. HIGHLY recommended is the machine gun cocktail. It was seriously one of the best cocktails I've had in a long time. The staff was super attentive and you can tell that they take a lot of pride in their work. Definitely check out this new addition to the Providence food scene

Service & ambiance 10/10. Food was good. Dessert was good too. My family loved the Dubai chocolate dessert.

From the moment we arrived, the staff was welcoming and I was especially impressed by the number of gluten-free options available. The chef even personally suggested a few dishes for us to try! We started with seasonal cocktails and warm gluten-free bread, which set the tone for a great meal. The standout was the gluten-free barbecue chicken flat bread pizza. It was incredibly tangy, flavorful and honestly one of the best GF pizzas I've had. We also shared a delicious chicken entrée and both dishes came with generous portions. We were so full that we couldn't finish half of our plates and didn't have room left for dessert... next time! We're already looking forward to returning soon. Highly recommend!

We were immediately greeted when we entered and seated. We went during the middle of the day so we're actually the only ones in the restaurant which felt very special honestly. For drinks my fiancé ordered an Irish coffee which was perfectly made and not too sweet and I ordered an expresso martini which I really enjoyed. For starters I ordered oysters which tasted so crisp and refreshing! I loved the garnishes as well! The mignonette was a delicious, with tons of flavor. It was tangy, citrusy and sweet while the horseradish + hot sauce carried a powerful kick. I truly loved the flavor profile! For our meals he ordered the clam chowder which was pretty yummy and the steak and eggs which was pretty decent he enjoyed the potatoes most. I kept my New England vibe going pretty strong and ordered a lobster roll with a side of fries. I will say I wasn't the biggest fan one the unfortunately. The fries were very crunchy almost like cooked in old oil and the lobster roll was a little too buttery for my liking. Our waiter was excellent and really made sure to check on us several times throughout our meal. Given, the overall ambiance and the delicious oysters and drinks I'd say this would be a nice restaurant to stop by for afternoon drinks or maybe even dinner. We were looking forward to trying the crab cakes but only available during dinner time.

The potatoes practically melted in my mouth but still had enough bite to contrast the creamy saag. The meal was spiced perfectly and offered a multitude of complex flavors. Every few minutes the door opens and a wave of heat rolls out. The pozza maker leans in with a peel. Wood crackles. A pizza disappears into the fire. The room organizes itself around that rhythm. Figidini is small. Smaller than you expect when you first walk in. Wood everywhere. Low light over the bar and the tables. The kitchen sits in full view just a few feet from where people are eating. You can see the entire operation. Flour on the prep counter. Dough stretching across the board. The oven door opening and closing again and again. It feels less like a dining room and more like you've been invited to sit just outside the kitchen while the night moves around you. Cozy is the obvious word. Quiet is not. The room is loud. Very loud. Concrete floors. Tile. Wood. Glass. Hard surfaces everywhere. Sound doesn't fade here. It ricochets. Conversations bounce off the walls and stack on top of each other until the whole room hums. Then the bartender starts shaking a drink. The metal tins crash together like someone using a jackhammer. The sound cuts straight through the room. At certain points you find yourself leaning across the table and yelling just to finish a sentence. Service moves through that noise with quiet efficiency. Orders taken. Food delivered. Plates cleared. No hovering. No conversation. Just the steady rhythm of the room continuing around you. Then the pizza arrives. Whole. No slices. Just a pair of scissors sitting on the plate beside it. The crust rises high around the edge, blistered and spotted from the oven. Puffy and inflated like bread that caught the perfect blast of heat. When you press into it the rim compresses easily. Chewy on the outside. Tender inside. The center stays thin and soft the way a wood fired pie should. This one is their tomato pie, which means the tomatoes carry the whole flavor of the pizza. No blanket of mozzarella covering things up. Just crushed tomatoes spread across the dough with sliced garlic, herbs, olive oil, and a little grated cheese working quietly underneath. The sauce is bright and fresh. Slightly sweet. Tomato first, then garlic, then olive oil settling into everything. Each slice bends when you lift it. The rim holds. Exactly what you expect from a fast bake in a very hot oven. Simple food. Done carefully. And done well. There is also a slightly precious edge to everything and that might not sit well with everyone. Figidini is the kind of place where a five dollar eight ounce bottle of Coke arrives at the table next to a tiny glass holding two oversized ice cubes that already take up most of the space before the soda even touches it. Small room. Warm light. Loud energy. A little over curated. But the oven keeps burning. Another pie goes in. Another one comes out. And once the scissors hit the table and the first slice makes it to your plate, most of the rest of it fades into the background. Because at the center of all that noise and dim light and careful presentation is a simple idea executed very well. A wood fired tomato pie that tastes exactly the way it should.

That said, this isn't a place I'd choose strictly for dinner unless the ambiance of lingering cigar smoke is part of the draw (pun intended). In warmer months, the large outdoor deck along the water is a really nice spot. So if you're into cigars or hookah and live in the area, this might be your place too. Given how rare cigar-friendly venues have become, I'm bumping this up to a five-star rating. Tip: Beware of the sidewalks on this street.
