    Chicken Gyro Sandwich with Fries
    Tim H.

Nadil, the Owner of the restaurant made my sandwich and entertained my conversation as he did so. What I learned is he is an amazing, hardworking, and talented chef who made me an amazing Chicken Gyro Sub. The ambiance is simple but fitting and he has a n impressively wide selection of beverages to choose from. Sandwich was amazing and the seasoning on the fries is a nice touch. Will be back for sure, Nadil had me sold before I even tried it. This place is my new lunch spot.

Delicious food dine in or takeout. The owner is so nice and they make their own fresh baklavas it's a Family favourite, and when my daughter is home from college, it's a go to place! I ate half of her baklava without asking...I had to go back and get some more so I got 4 of them

We stop by occasionally to pick up food to go. Everything we've tried (salads, plates, and wraps) have been fresh and tasty. The folks who work there are so friendly and nice to speak with, they are the best part about visiting the restaurant. Although we've only ever gotten our food to go, the inside is clean and welcoming.

$5.95 plus credit card fee for "Tabbouleh."

This is what was served to me as tabbouleh. You be the judge. (Less than a teaspoon of grain and essentially nothing else except lettuce.) They warn you in advance (with a sign) about a credit card fee, but it is still annoying to be charged almost $2 to use a credit card. Wait was nearly 20 minutes for what I thought was a simple order. Food was okay (except for tabbouleh).

Pita pocket is such an amazing addition to town. Everything is made fresh and is very authentic. Once I get the notion of the Pita Pocket in my mind nothing gets in my way of picking up an order. Also, I never forget to grab some baklava on my way out. Homemade by the owners wife, it's simply perfect. I highly recommend this great addition to Barrington Plaza

Small portions of bland food. Worst hummus I ever even tried to eat. Stuffed grape leaves were mushy and boring. Won't be back.

Smaller establishment with 7 tables to choose from. Has dedicated parking lot off the street to use and handicap ramp to use for access if needed. I can't wait to come back and try some other dishes! I had Kebah, labneh, fahsa with fresh tanoor bread and a pistachio cake to finish off the meal. Oh don't forget the juices available either!! The mint lemon looked refreshing, but I settled on the avocado banana that was amazing! Great flavor profile and the tanoor bread reminded me of time spent abroad enjoying these items in country! If you are not familiar with these items and want to spice your life up a bit, stop in and enjoy some culinary greatness!!

I mainly came for the sweets, was able to get a tray of pistachio and walnut baklava, but they had a few other sweets like lady fingers and purses as well. Baklava was very good, very nice crispiness that held up for the week. I would've preferred it to have a bit more nuts and be a bit sweeter, but personal preference. Got the cheese fatayer which is just basically a cheesy bread with some herbs. So tasty, really enjoyed that! Also got a lamb kabob which came with some bread as well. The flavor here was good but didn't blow me away. Touch on the dry side too. Probably would get something else next time. They've also got coffee. I elected to get the Turkish coffee. It was thick and came in a pretty small cup, about a 3rd of that is the grounds. Fun to try, but very bitter, wouldn't recommend this either. Overall, really cool shop that seems very popular. Lots of interesting menu items to try. Definitely suggest checking it out!

And then the waitress tried to persuade me to pay her in cash. There was a screaming baby around the corner, surrounded by people smoking hookahs. The owner kept begging me to come join them, but it just didn't feel right at the time. He really, really wanted me to smoke. And I'm not sure why. I liked the Whitney Houston "I'm Your Baby Tonight" poster by the handwashing station. And the beef shawarma was okay, I guess.
