    Colorful cocktails for starters.

Nice outdoor rooftop experience. Not that the views were that amazing, but at least it is fresh air and unique. Went for restaurant week three course prefix $45 was a nice deal. Service was terrific and the food was good. Drinks were pricey... $370 for four of us. Calamari was good and plentiful. Salmon was well cooked, but skimpy on the wasabi aioli and chocolate cake was excellent. I'd recommend it for a nice occasion place.

My friend and I did a walk-in for restaurant week and decided to sit on the patio to enjoy the scenic view and the beautiful weather. It took a while before anyone came over, but we did get some bread and dipping oil while we waited. To be fair, it looked like we came during the dinner rush. We asked for the restaurant week menu and waited a little longer before finally putting in our drink and food orders. I ordered the Tequila Blossom, which honestly just tasted like orange juice... nothing special. It also got warm over the course of the meal, so I asked for a cup of ice. The Summer Beet Salad was a solid starter and a generous portion. The flavors were a good balance of acidic and bitter, but after a few bites it started to feel repetitive. The Steak Frites were pretty straightforward. The green beans were slightly overcooked, the fries were crisp, and the steak was cooked how I asked. It didn't really stand out, but it got the job done . The velvety chocolate cake was the highlight. I almost wish there were more than just one blackberry on the plate, but it did help me finish off that orange juice cocktail. The dinner felt a bit long overall, but I was in great company and the evening was beautiful--so I can't complain too much For the restaurant week price, it was a great dinner and a fantastic way to enjoy the sunset .

Mare is a class act. Seven of us went on Mother's Day - a day that has historically been filled with disappointing food and service. This year changed my opinion of what I could expect when you take the time to pick the right establishment. From the moment we arrived, the Team was pleasant, inviting, and made for an incredibly easy going experience that every good mother deserves. Being inside a glass rooftop, I'd imagine that it isn't the easiest place to manage temperature-wise, but it was very comfortable and I noticed Team members opening or closing the large folding glass panels to allow for more or less airflow as was appropriate based on the weather - just a small thing I noticed that could make a big difference if managed improperly. The Manager, Katherine, was excellent, and checked on us throughout our experience to make sure everything was going smoothly. Jack, our waiter, was on top of things the whole time, punctual with drinks and food, courteous, and very amicable. We were never rushed, our whole visit had a very natural flow, and the food was second to none. Appetizers were excellent - Margherita Pizza, Charcuterie Board, and the Meatball Arancini. For lunch, a few of us got the Seafood Mozambique, one the Blackened Salmon, another the Frutti di Mare, and I got the Steak Frites. Although the steak was excellent, I won't lie - the Mozambique looked outstanding and I wish I would have tried it. That means I'll just have to go back soon haha. There were rave reviews and not a single complaint about the food or anything else, for that matter; being Mother's Day especially, that is a badge to wear proudly, as it isn't easy to accomplish. We look forward to returning together as a family, and I look forward to many more experiences here myself. Thank you to everyone at Mare Rooftop who made Mother's Day 2026 a day for the books!

Food/Drinks: Both times I've visited, I got the salmon, and it's consistently amazing, crispy, flavorful, and easily one of my favorite spots for it. The drinks are also great, delicious and well-balanced with a good amount of alcohol. Location: This is definitely a go-to for a special night out. The ambiance is romantic and classy with dim lighting, a stylish decor, and even a light-up backdrop for great photo ops. The views are beautiful and make the experience even better. Service: Service has been excellent both times. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and made us feel welcome without ever rushing us.. even on Valentine's Day. 10/10 recommend !

Had the most delicious dinner/apps here the other night & this is my go to spot for date night/girls night etc. so need to share some of my favs. - lobster bisque 10/10 I actually cried real tears when the seasonal menu changed and this was no longer available. - burrata salad 8/10 tastes amazing but wish there were more greens. - cheese board (no meat option) 8/10 really good cheese options (but feel like there should be larger portions of them) love the spread options, but need to get rid of the pickled veggies. Feel like this is a great time to try Mare if you haven't gone before their menu is so yummy right now they also have the fun igloos outside to dine in!

We had a nice dinner. Our server-in-training took excellent care of us and did a fantastic job, with Aaron guiding her along the way. The roasted chicken and gluten-free Bolognese were both average and my bourbon smash was outstanding. The atmosphere was very nice, still early, before sunset, but you can tell it would have a whole different energy at night. It was surprisingly quiet for 7 PM on a Saturday, which is a shame because this place really has a lot to offer. Definitely worth a visit.

What a fantastic venue. We booked the Mare Rooftop for a 50th birthday celebration. Not only was the semi- private space the perfect way to surprise our guest of honor, but it comfortably accommodated a party of 25. Simplistic but elegantly decorated. And the food was incredible - everyone complimented their dishes - sirloin cooked to perfection, pan seared chicken, and a salmon to die for. A delectable selection of desserts, too! But what made the night was the staff. Catherine and her team were attentive, kind, and friendly. It was exactly why we chose to host our event here. Through and through , start to finish, the planning was a breeze. Communication was seamless. I highly recommend The Mare for parties or a dinner with family or friends. You won't be disappointed.

Three of us (two mothers) went for a Mother's Day early dinner. I have always liked the design and ambiance of this place. The current chef does a good job. I was glad to see the restaurant full of a variety of people. We ordered three different drinks - a mimosa, Bombay Sapphire and a Chianti. To eat we shared shishito peppers - quite good. Other dishes were a lobster bisque, a Caesar salad, pasta puttanesca (tasty but a little too salty), a herb encrusted cod and the special the halibut (somewhat a surprise at an expensive $60). None of us had any room left for dessert but I did end with an espresso. The check came to over $205 for the three of us without a tip.our server, Jadyn, was pleasant and attentive in spite of the busy situation. Almost worth it for a special occasion! Dining here during the day when one can take advantage of the rooftop views is better than eating at night.

I went back again, no surprise, and it was awesome as always. I was a bit disappointed that there weren't options for specials because those are usually what I end up ordering. I will say the crowd here has changed a bit. Not a terrible thing but just felt a bit different. The food was amazing though and so was the service.

Elegant rooftop in a quaint part of town! Although a rooftop, Mare is easy to find with a well-marked door and a welcoming lobby (this time decorated festively for pumpkin season!) and it's an easy lift up to the "R" floor. The vibe is elegant but not overly fancy, although I think you could go fancier and not feel out of place. We had the octopus appetizer to start. It had a great, charred flavored and was a generous portion, although I would have liked to see a little more crisp texture-wise (full-disclosure though: I'm an octopus snob). Derrick was super attentive and helpful, giving us all the helpful tips. Particularly, he had a great tip to switch out the sauce in the frutti di mare sauce with a white sauce vs the marinara it came with - so good! We also had the sirloin and it was good perfectly (got it medium rare) with tons of flavor, no salt needed. The tiramisu for dessert was fantastic (and Derrick gave us a "fun fact" about the origin of the name - check it out) and the pumpkin martini was delicious. Derrick helpfully told us when we asked about the martini in the beginning that it was best for dessert and he was spot on about that. Definitely recommend Mare rooftop for a special night out for quality dining!

We were immediately greeted when we entered and seated. We went during the middle of the day so we're actually the only ones in the restaurant which felt very special honestly. For drinks my fiancé ordered an Irish coffee which was perfectly made and not too sweet and I ordered an expresso martini which I really enjoyed. For starters I ordered oysters which tasted so crisp and refreshing! I loved the garnishes as well! The mignonette was a delicious, with tons of flavor. It was tangy, citrusy and sweet while the horseradish + hot sauce carried a powerful kick. I truly loved the flavor profile! For our meals he ordered the clam chowder which was pretty yummy and the steak and eggs which was pretty decent he enjoyed the potatoes most. I kept my New England vibe going pretty strong and ordered a lobster roll with a side of fries. I will say I wasn't the biggest fan one the unfortunately. The fries were very crunchy almost like cooked in old oil and the lobster roll was a little too buttery for my liking. Our waiter was excellent and really made sure to check on us several times throughout our meal. Given, the overall ambiance and the delicious oysters and drinks I'd say this would be a nice restaurant to stop by for afternoon drinks or maybe even dinner. We were looking forward to trying the crab cakes but only available during dinner time.

Every few minutes the door opens and a wave of heat rolls out. The pozza maker leans in with a peel. Wood crackles. A pizza disappears into the fire. The room organizes itself around that rhythm. Figidini is small. Smaller than you expect when you first walk in. Wood everywhere. Low light over the bar and the tables. The kitchen sits in full view just a few feet from where people are eating. You can see the entire operation. Flour on the prep counter. Dough stretching across the board. The oven door opening and closing again and again. It feels less like a dining room and more like you've been invited to sit just outside the kitchen while the night moves around you. Cozy is the obvious word. Quiet is not. The room is loud. Very loud. Concrete floors. Tile. Wood. Glass. Hard surfaces everywhere. Sound doesn't fade here. It ricochets. Conversations bounce off the walls and stack on top of each other until the whole room hums. Then the bartender starts shaking a drink. The metal tins crash together like someone using a jackhammer. The sound cuts straight through the room. At certain points you find yourself leaning across the table and yelling just to finish a sentence. Service moves through that noise with quiet efficiency. Orders taken. Food delivered. Plates cleared. No hovering. No conversation. Just the steady rhythm of the room continuing around you. Then the pizza arrives. Whole. No slices. Just a pair of scissors sitting on the plate beside it. The crust rises high around the edge, blistered and spotted from the oven. Puffy and inflated like bread that caught the perfect blast of heat. When you press into it the rim compresses easily. Chewy on the outside. Tender inside. The center stays thin and soft the way a wood fired pie should. This one is their tomato pie, which means the tomatoes carry the whole flavor of the pizza. No blanket of mozzarella covering things up. Just crushed tomatoes spread across the dough with sliced garlic, herbs, olive oil, and a little grated cheese working quietly underneath. The sauce is bright and fresh. Slightly sweet. Tomato first, then garlic, then olive oil settling into everything. Each slice bends when you lift it. The rim holds. Exactly what you expect from a fast bake in a very hot oven. Simple food. Done carefully. And done well. There is also a slightly precious edge to everything and that might not sit well with everyone. Figidini is the kind of place where a five dollar eight ounce bottle of Coke arrives at the table next to a tiny glass holding two oversized ice cubes that already take up most of the space before the soda even touches it. Small room. Warm light. Loud energy. A little over curated. But the oven keeps burning. Another pie goes in. Another one comes out. And once the scissors hit the table and the first slice makes it to your plate, most of the rest of it fades into the background. Because at the center of all that noise and dim light and careful presentation is a simple idea executed very well. A wood fired tomato pie that tastes exactly the way it should.
