Located inside the Omni Providence hotel it's a little gem. We had breakfast and dinner and would def go back again. Ambiance was great - spacious but intimate at the same time. The bar was hopping the night we were there. Great hotel restaurant.

We were staying at the Omni Hotel, which is very nice as I'll discuss in a future review. We enjoy French cuisine and decided to give Fleur a try even though the Yelp ranking was only 3.3 We were dining early after a long walkabout in Providence. When we arrived, as there were no other diners present, we were advised that we could select our table. The hostess at that moment, also turned out to be our waitress. She quickly sent over water, and provided us with menus. Our first surprise was the menu. Oh Mon Dieu! Where are the French dishes. My co-diner was looking forward to some French Onion soup. Fleur however, was serving Clam Chowder (a standard menu item), and the soup du jour was ironically... Chicken and Rice. Missing in action were the Boeuf Bourguignon, Coq au Vin, Cassoulet, Confit de Canard, Quiche Lorraine, and of course, the French Onion Soup. So, I decided on one of the only French dishes on the menu, Poulet au Citron - Statler chicken, lemon, white wine, tomatoes, artichokes, lemon caper sauce with potato au gratin. $32 My co-diner opted for the Lobster Roll. This was a warm lobster roll, known as a Connecticut Roll - Butter poached lobster meat, served on a butter roll (served warm), Fries, fried wontons or greens. $35 The waitress offered mashed potatoes, fries or the au gratin with my dinner, and I chose the au gratin which I typically like and because it is French inspired. The dinners arrived quickly, which wasn't a complete surprise as we were still the only patrons. Overall, the chicken was pretty good, with a nicely crisped skin, though it was a small portion. The au gratin was terrible, the cheese top was very hard and overdone and the potatoes were too stiff, perhaps a little undercooked. The sauce in the dish with the artichokes was underwhelming, and relatively bland. I tasted the lobster roll, and though there was plenty of lobster, I thought the meat and roll were dry. When the waitress checked on our dinners, I told her I shouldn't have taken her advice and selected mashed potatoes as the au gratin wasn't good. She nodded but didn't apologize for the kitchen or offer a side dish of mashed potatoes, something one would expect in a fine dining restaurant. The main thing that is French inspired at this restaurant is the name. If you're looking for some quality French cooking, you should look elsewhere. If you're looking for an excellent steak, I'd suggest walking down the stairs to the Omni lobby, where you'll find Fleming's, an excellent steak establishment.

Wow! What another amazing experience at Fleur. I recently learned they have GF bread, Gf flatbreads and GF pasta! We went in for a nice Friday night diner with their Halloween cocktails and shared two entrees! They didn't disappoint: the GF flatbread was a full size pizza and it was amazing n the chicken dish with the potato pie was to die for. Our cocktails tasted as good as they looked! Our server, Manny was amazing. He took such great care of us from the moment we sat down! The host and other staff were so wonderful too. Everyone here goes above and beyond every visit from servers to the kitchen staff. This spot is beautiful too. Lots of celebrations were happening around us. Large parties got the same attention and care as our table of two. Fleur is such a hidden gem in providence that more people need to check out!

I've been here for brunch and after dinner cocktails + dessert. I wasn't a fan of the brunch, although I enjoyed the musician. I like this place for drinks and dessert. It's decorated very nicely and the servers are nice. The crème brûlée cheesecake had a great presentation and taste.

Hands down the nicest restaurant in RI! The restaurant looks fancy with bright/airy lighting and gold tones. Even the utensils were gold! I loved the decor of the restaurant, it was very tasteful and classy. The restaurant itself is located on the 2nd floor of the Omni hotel in Providence. Parking in this area is tough but they have valet at the hotel and the restaurant can validate your parking for $12. You can also park in the mall and walk over. Makes for a great brunch spot with the girls or even date night. I came for brunch and wish they had more of a variety however everything I got was delicious. The clam chowder was a perfect texture and shrimp cocktail was a good size. The flatbreads were also tasty. The restaurant is expensive but you really pay for the ambiance.

Very beautiful and vibrant place! I was so surprised by how lovely it was. The burger was delicious, salmon was nicely cooked, dessert was great, and the cocktails were absolutely amazing! The lady served us was new but so kind, friendly, and attentive. After diner we decided to hangout at the bar because there were live music. The DJ was really good! I think people not coming to this place because it is located inside the hotel and on the second floor. If you want a place to eat, to have a drink, or dance later of the night, this is your spot!

We enjoyed our quiet date night here. My husband and I decided to drive from CT to Providence and tried out Fleur. It has a nice, quiet ambience. I ordered the Duck L'orange and it tasted really good. We also enjoyed our cheese board with large slices of cheese and fresh honeycomb. The servers were also nice and polite.

Part of a 18 person group located on a private dining room. The ambiance was nice, service efficient but let's face it, the food is what counts the most. The menu selections had a gourmet flair but taste was average. Wish the cheese tray had more bread on it, and that my chicken dish was smaller and less expensive. This is borderline 4 stars but little things like no ice in my water glass added up to making it 3.

I visited Fleu on a Tuesday, where they have a special for $2 oysters and $10 Tequila cocktails. I believe my friend and I ordered about two dozens oysters and they were delicious. To drink, I ordered the Water Lily (Butterfly Cannon Blue tequila, Cointreau, creme violet, lemon), and for my entree I ordered the Lobster Roll with fries. I honestly thought the entree was okay. Nothing special, especially for the price. My friend ordered the Poulet de Fleur, which is basically chicken with a sherry parmesan cream sauce, which tasted better. I think Fleur is great for its ambiance, service, and little plates. However, it disappointed me that their entrees were subpar, especially if a plate is $20-$30. It is in a convenient location for hotel stayers, but I would venture out to downtown for cheaper options for a bang for your buck.

Worst breakfast ever. Could have microwaved better food myself. Good service though but cooks need to go back to culinary school.

Not the kind of place I really want to sit in and enjoy a cocktail. Dungeon like. The music is loud hip hop, not something I mind, but worth noting if thats not for you. I sat at the bar, and honestly didn't feel like it was super clean. I don't think the counter had been wiped down for a while. Staff were doing their best but seemed overwhelmed on a Saturday night. I was watching them make the cocktails and did not feel like it was very sanitary. They've got one small sink they're rinsing everything in, they were chucking stuff, literally chucking and slamming metal. They were dumping out people's drinks into the same side of the sink and then rinsing in the other side. But stuff was splashing into what should be the clean side. It's not a good setup for a cocktail bar. The cocktail menu had 8 drinks on it, 2 they were out of. Nothing had whiskey in it. I got a drink called Darjeeling something. Really didn't like it, didn't taste balanced and it looked different than someone else's who ordered the same thing, not sure if the bartender forgot an ingredient. The bartender also wasn't tasting the drinks which I usually see to ensure it was made correctly. This one had curry in it as a listed ingredient and it was just way too strong a flavor. It was a rum drink with some mezcal but it just tastes like mezcal and curry powder. The place was pretty busy but people were coming and going frequently. There's only one bathroom which really isn't enough for a bar. Seems like there's potential here but I didn't like the menu offerings and the sanitary concerns leave me with no desire to come back here.

We were looking for a place to have cocktails before a show and stumble upon this bar…read more The place was small but had a great ambiance. Our server was attentive and gave us great suggestions. I tried four cocktails some from their new menu and some of their past drinks, they were all great. My favorite was the Passion Fruit Martini and the Strawberry , the Sumac Paloma was great. THE FOOD -We ordered the dip trio, each of them was delicious, my favorite was the lemon hummus. -the ratio of chips to dip was not good and when we asked for more chips it was a $5 charge we weren't told about. Since it took a bit to get the second round of chips we had to leave most of them and the dip to get to our show on time which was a bummer. THE DRINKS -delicious!!! Great, accurate descriptions -I tried the parsley one and it was so refreshing and perfectly herby. I've told everyone about it! -I also tried the apple anise which is accurately a mix of both apple and anise flavors! I forgot I don't like anise much so it wasn't my favorite but again still accurate and well made. THE SERVICE -very kind server! He was knowledgeable when I had some questions about the drink options -also accommodating for when it's possible to based on drink recipes THE ATMOSPHERE -though not a speakeasy that was the feel of it -dark and intimate -fun decor , small interior so MAKE A RESERVATION Overall, I will definitely be going back when I'm in PVD!!!! A lovely woman in the restroom overheard my friend and I unsure on where to venture, and she suggested this place! Moody and welcoming. Absolutely loved it. We went in ~10:45 on a Wednesday pm. Apparently they do live jazz weekly as well, but we'd come too late. A handful of bar patrons, a couple making out in the back of the dining room at their cute table, a lovely bartender, me& my bff. We really hit the jackpot for ambiance last night. Decor in there is so cute. I wish I took a picture of the table lamp on the bar. It was embellished with beads hanging on the rim of the shade. Our drinks were top notch. Mine was a citrus vanilla profile and hers was a savory martini. The sandwich, I had one bite of it was yummy. I don't like imitation lunch meats though.
