A true hidden gem in providence! Absolutely delicious food - I highly recommend the chicken gyro but the classic beef is also great. Spicy feta sauce is so good. Service is quick. I haven't been in since they've changed over to also serving pizza, but I have such a love for Greek pizza in this state that I have no doubt it's excellent. At my gym they had a table with menus for this place along with other businesses. The menu sounded delicious, so that same weekend my family and I went to check them out. Initial observations: their parking lot is big, they have a really nice deck with tables and chairs where you can eat (which we did), lots of space inside to dine, and it's clean. I found that their paper menus were a lot easier to navigate than the menu they have displaying on the screens. There isn't an overwhelming amount of options which is good, but they do have different proteins for each dish. My family and I all ended up ordering wraps, one Greek, two Greek American and the Greek fries (fries with feta cheese and oregano). The Greek American is a bit messier with the sauces. The Greek does bring fries, but no lettuce so there are some trade offs between the options. You can however build your own which is a great option. The wraps were packed with meat, fresh toppings, and a perfectly grilled pita. One negative is that their meat isn't freshly sliced off the rotating devices, just grilled. The fries were really good. They came with LOTS of fresh feta cheese, but I also wish it had some sauce on it for more flavor. These only come in one size, and I think is perfect for 3-4 people if you're ordering an entree. The staff was really welcoming and even gave us a complimentary baklava to try, which tasted a lot like the honey nut bunches of oats with almonds cereal. read more

I just discovered this place a few months ago, and I think at this point I have tried almost everything on their menu! I've only ever ordered delivery, so I can't comment on the actual physical restaurant, but everything else is as close to perfect as you can get. I was sincere in that I have tried a huge portion of their menu and literally everything was amazing. The portions are huge, the price is extremely fair, and the quality is phenomenal. Getting to have genuine portokalada was also huge bonus points! When I first started ordering here they were still Souvlaki Zone, and I was so worried when they turned into Mr. Greeks, but I can say with certainty the quality has not changed at all. Very good lunch spot! We picked up a to go order we placed through grub hub (their website directed us there). Food was ready on time. My husbands gyro was the best he's ever had. I got a salad with chicken which was a bit dry. The fresh pita bread was excellent. The interior of the restaurant was sweltering when I went in to get my order. After the Greek Festival in Cranston, it was my goal to find good Greek Food - and this didn't disappoint! We came in after lunch time, so no one else was here, and it was perfect for us because they could walk us through the menu and explain different foods we could get. I explained my daughter really enjoyed the gyro at the Greek festival, so he made a suggestion for what would be the closest to that. And my daughter (and my husband and I) were all very satisfied. It was our first time here, and we loved it! We had some trouble with their ordering system, payment, and we had to complete about 20 Capchas total, which took a while to sort out. The default time the order would be ready was in 20 minutes, and we arrived before that (which was as soon as as could get there) to find our order already sitting out, relatively soggy and not hot. The pickup service was okay - nothing super. Other than that, we found the portions generous, the food fresh and high quality, and we loved the customizable menu (especially how many different vegetarian items we could make), and the unique Greek bean option. The sauces were great, as were the fries. I can imagine how good the fries and falafel would be if they were hot. The outdoor seating was very spacious and we enjoyed it. Having a parking lot was another plus. We will definitely be back - we'd just love to see them stick closer to their estimates of when food will be ready so it's still hot when picked up. Working out the bugs in their online ordering would also be great - it was a bonus that we could easily check off what we did and didn't want, but it was annoying to have to work on submitting it so many times. read more

Souvlaki Zone is excellent - I've been a few times now and have tried the chicken, gyro, and pork, as well as the spanakopita. All were delicious. The pita bread is legit, too. We ordered pick-up for the first time today. I've seen reviews of this place and have wanted to try it out. Ordering was easy and to our surprise everything was still warm when we got back home to Scituate. The food was fantastic. Two of us made their own bowls and I made wrap. The Greek bean blend is a delight. I got that in my wrap instead of rice or fries. The chicken souvlaki is wonderful. Full of flavor. I love good Greek/Mediterranean food and this place has it. This is a great casual spot for authentic Greek food! We ordered the Classic Greek Pita with pork and the falafel wrap when we stopped in last night. I appreciated the affordable kids menu. The fries that came with my little one's chicken strips were on point -- I kept stealing them. The falafel were so tender! Everything was perfectly spiced and assembled right in front of us so we could see it was fresh. My only complaint is that the bread fell apart at the end because of the abundance of delicious sauce. Souvlaki Zone has a beautifully renovated (and wheelchair accessible) deck, so you can eat outside or take your food home. The owners, Mario and Steve (father and son) were both on hand and were super kind. They also gave us a taste of a special chicken and rice dish. I wish I knew what it was -- it was delicious.
