My daughter and I went to Fresh Pita for the first time. It is directly across the street from Waterman Lake. There is outdoor and indoor seating with a nice water view. BUT LET ME TELL YOU, THE FOOD WAS INCREDIBLE!! We were offered a sample of both the beef & lamb shawarma and the chicken shawarma. I got the beef and my daughter got the chicken. Both topped with traditional gyro toppings in a fresh pita wrap. And we shared a piece of homemade baklava for dessert. DELICIOUS! Although the indoor tables were simple but comfortable, it didn't affect our experience. I'm bringing the whole family back again. My personal thanks to Yelda who took care of us. If you haven't been, you must try this one! read more

Friendly staff and excellent food. We came here for lunch. They gave me a sample and I ordered the combo 3 protein. It was delicious! read more

Fresh Pita - Combo - Greek Near Me - Greenville, Rhode Island

Today was the first time that I came in. The woman working the counter was really nice. She told me about how they make the falafel homemade and the empanadas. She makes all the sauces and explained to me the different heats in each one and suggested which one would go well on my wrap. Really fresh good food, and good service. read more

I've driven by this place many times and I love this type of food but my boyfriend is a little reluctant to eat it, so I stopped by one day when I was alone and I am so glad I did! The second I walked in- I was greeted by the wife and her husband was sitting in the booth and I instantly remembered them from their Mineral Spring Avenue Location! I took my son there for Lunch one day- it was years ago-when he was very little and I will never forget that they made him French fries for free- which was memorable just because of how kind they were. I told her I would pay for them but they waved me away! She also wouldn't let me leave a tip today- but I insisted she give the tip to her son/employee. Everything was made to order so I don't understand the reviews saying the food is not fresh because it most definitely was fresh & delicious! I love the chicken falafel combo ! It's my favorite & the meats were juicy and tender. Everything was great and the price was also very good. I hate when I get lunch for myself & the price comes out to over $20- that is just ridiculous in my opinion. My entire meal came to under $15 - which is amazing! My lunch was amazing, the service was wonderful & the price was just right! I highly recommend at least giving it a try and if you don't know what to order- just go with the chicken or chicken and falafel combo and I promise you- it's worth checking out! read more

Today we went to Fresh Pita, and had an amazing lunch. I think everybody expected the lunch to be okay, nothing special, but it really took us by surprise! If you like Greek food, you'll definitely enjoy Fresh Pita, and even if not, they have chicken/beef and rice plates, salads, and other lunches that you can customize. Everybody there was very friendly, and we got a free taste-test of the chicken and beef shawarma read more

The food was great. I would give it five stars because the service was great. The people were friendly and the food was great.

Amazing food with very kind service! Everything was super fresh and they make it to order! They cooked the falafel just for me- and they said they always cook to order only! That prevents waste and ensures you're getting the freshest food! I'll be back again next weekend! read more

Stopped for a greek salad to go . Average size . Gave me iceberg lettuce, no calamata olives , tomato and pepperinchino . Had to ask for fetta cheese . Just should have told me that they don't make Greek salad. Then charged me $15.00 . Never again. read more

The food was excellent and the service is always friendly and warm. The owner is a great person, he loves to talk to all his customers. If you don't like Greek food they do have hamburgers etc. as well. Try it, you will like it! read more

It's for sure middle of the road. Sodium levels are right up there with New England fans when Brady left aha it's basically run by teenagers who have their first gig, but they're trying their best. It beats driving to ESP on Thayer, for me. If you're in the area and want a quick bite this will hit the spot. Bon appetite! read more

Same great food, new awesome spot. I'm so syked to see Yelda and Isa expand their Greek & Mediterranean flavors with more neighbors further west. The new spot has a more family style feeling with lots of seating and smiling faces. With an expanded kitchen and prep area, I assume this is the new go to spot for catering, and I can attest they cater unlike any other in the business. Every thing is made with care. My personal favorite is a simple Greek Salad, add olives, chickpeas, hummus and feta. We like a side of hummus and fresh pita chips. The other half downs an entire grilled beef Shwarma made exactly how the menu states it. Perfect. Not a single bad word. read more

Def not anything close to fresh. The website is very misleading with pictures of real shwarma and beef kabob, and a professional shwarma set up. Asked for beef shwarma and got cafeteria gyro meat that was dry af besides the grease it had. It was more like a cafeteria with a tiny kitchen. The whole place looked like it was run by students. Food was terrible, def frozen. Tomatoes were wilted. Gyro meat and chicken sitting in chaffing dish in grease. Took one bite and tossed it. read more

Great place. I stopped in for the first time. I was greeted by the staff and quickly given a sample of the food. Very tasty assortment. I picked the Chicken Shawarma plate and my wife ordered the Falafel plate. As our food was prepared I spoke to the owner, he told me how he has expanded to this location nice guy! Now on to the food, my wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our meals. The chicken shawarma was spot on. I will be coming back soon to try the rest of the menu. Great food and friendly service. Our family had the best lunch at Fresh Pita last week! It was our first time and the owner was so welcoming and kind. He let us try meats and sauces, before we made our selections. My 4 year old discovered he loves chicken shawarma. He helped arrange tables for our group of 7. He is one of the nicest, most generous people. The food was so scrumptious! Everyone in our party loved our meals. Generous portions, very fresh, excellent prices, and a beautiful view while you dine. I cannot recommend this place enough! We will definitely return anytime we're in the area. An absolute gem! read more

Always excellent, fresh food. Family owned- service is always friendly and accommodating. 10/10. Plus the view of the lake doesn't hurt when stopping for a quick lunch. read more

I'd be willing to try the food again but I was not very impressed at all. I'll say it was takeout delivered through door dash or grub hub so it's not the best introduction to the food. However, it still should hold up a little better than it did. I ordered this a few months ago so I'd don't remember exactly what went wrong but they forgot an item we ordered and everything was pretty just average. Like I said I would give them another shot but I wouldn't expect the best food. I like pick pockets as an alternative. read more

My husband and I tried this place for the first time tonight. It was delicious! I had the small chicken shawarma wrap, which was very filling- I can't imagine trying to eat the large! It was really tasty with their two special sauces. My husband had the falafel platter, which was also delicious. We also loved the pita chips and hummus appetizer. The staff was very friendly. We will definitely be back! read more

Was so happy to see this business "coming soon" when we would get our ice cream at powder mill creamery next door, since I love, love, love this kind of food and was psyched to see this place open so close to home, since not always have time or desire to go up to the East side. Went today with my 20% off coupon and the girls at the counter were very friendly and attentive; great customer service skills. The owner came out to greet all of us customers who were there as well and offer us samples of the chicken and shwarma, as well as the sauces. Lovely hospitality that made the trip that much more enjoyable. You could tell he was proud of his food and enjoyed seeing us enjoy it, too. Everything was delicious, especially the falafel. Very pleased with what I got. Will be a repeat customer and recommend to anyone without reservation. read more

Staff is friendly and caring. For my taste, the shawarma was somewhat under-spiced, too greasy, and there was too little sauce. The falafel was tasty but I found the marshmallow shape less interesting than a more familiar meatball shape and texture. For eat-in, i found the place cozy and clean with a Great Lake view. read more
