I ordered from Eleni's during the work week via a catering service. For that reason, I cannot comment on the service or ambiance of the restaurant, so this review is solely based on the food. I ordered the Mediterranean salad which was good. I wish they used spinach instead of mixed greens. The feta was outstanding and truly made the salad. The side pita was hard, which was disappointing but overall I enjoyed my salad and would get it again. I'd also love to try their chicken meatballs and gyros. read more

This was a 3.5 experience for me, but I will round up to 4 stars. The grape leaves were very good and a highlight of the meal. The moussaka was average, and the baklava unspectacular. Nothing was bad, but most of the food did not stand out as much as I expected given the strong reviews. The decor was very nice, with a classy and comfortable atmosphere that did not feel overdone. Service was friendly, but getting anything from the bar took quite a while. The slow bar service affected the overall experience. Parking was easy to find on the street. i've only ordered takeout from here twice and i can't wait to dine in! eleni's has a gorgeous, classy ambiance with white tablecloths and a beautiful modern bar. david is incredibly hospitable. i ordered their chicken shish kebab plate with a tzatziki appetizer and extra pita. the tzatziki... okay it's good nearly anywhere, but eleni's takes it to a whole new level. it is whipped, fresh, and divine! their chicken is huge tender chunks with peppers, onions and tomatoes, and so flavorful. i do wish they came with more than 2, there's another greek restaurant i frequent and they have 4. even so, it is very well-seasoned and i love the peppers, onions & tomatoes. their greek salad has the perfect proportions. i am so happy i found them! chicken 9.8/10 tzatziki 11/10 if you are desiring the most delicious greek food, eleni's is sure to deliver. you can tell they make their food with love. i can't wait to come back. ambiance: 5/5 food: 5/5 drinks: n/a service: 5/5 eleni's restaurant: 5/5 read more

This restaurant is fabulous! Lovely ambiance with white table clothed tables, crystal ceiling lighting. Had dinner with family and we ordered many of the Mezze menu dishes, plus hummus and entrees. Each dish was excellent. Service was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu items. Specialty cocktails hit the spot. Here's the thing....we were the only table in the whole restaurant. We were it. If you was fabulous Greek cuisine, look no further. Please visit this terrific place. It's sad they didn't have patrons. They have their own parking lot behind their building. During our first visit they were still "working" the service aspects, but so happy to report those issues are in the past. Service was excellent and the atmosphere outstanding for this small restaurant on the edge of North Woburn. My sister had lunch today there today. It was the first time either of us had been to the restaurant. The atmosphere is very nice, and it has a casual, warm feel to it. The food was superb, and we'll definitely be back! I want to give a special shoutout to our server, Mariah. Her level of service was amazing! She's friendly, knowledgeable of the menu, and was eager to answer any questions we had about items on the menu. Her level of professionalism and superior customer service impressed me so much that it prompted me to write this review. I've experienced very good service over the years, but my experience with Mariah is quite simply unparalleled. Her enthusiasm for her work is obvious, and I can't wait to go back to enjoy the great food - and Mariah's exceptional service. Eleni's opened their Woburn location last week on Main St, just north of 95/128 and Applebee's. They serve up Greek and Mediterranean cuisine in a casual formal setting. The place offers ample table seating (linen table cloths) and seating up at the bar. I had initially stopped by about three weeks ago, but they were not open for business yet. I stopped by for dinner recently. I asked for a menu to look at and reviewed the choices before deciding to eat in. I sat up at the bar and placed an order for the Moussaka dinner ($20 plus tax) served with Greek salad and choice of starch (I chose lemon roasted potatoes). I was given bread with my meal and the moussaka and sides were served on a big square plate. The lemon roasted potatoes were very hot, but not covered in lemon sauce like I had earlier in the week at another new Greek restaurant in Waltham. The side salad had fresh greens, tomato wedges, kalameta olives, pepperoncini, feta cheese, and light dressing. The moussaka was a thick piece layered with bechamel, eggplant, potato and ground beef. The moussaka was very hot outside, tasty, and very filling to eat, but as I was about done eating, the meat was a bit cool in the center. I decided to get a to go box for the rest of the food, so I could zap it later for a late night meal at home. I did not order dessert, since I had enough food and I was going to the trampoline center afterwards. The check before tip was $21.40 before tip. The service at the bar here was prompt and attentive (5 stars). As for moussaka or any layered casserole dish in a prep kitchen, I would use a food thermometer before serving off. I would probably try the Cod Plaki or the Pastichio on the next visit to Eleni's Woburn. read more

My husband and I have driven by this restaurant over and over and finally decided to go for dinner tonight. The food was absolutely delicious! We started with Chicken Lemon Soup and Spinach Pie and he got Gyro Dinner Plate and I got the Moussaka ... being 1/2 Greek, I am very picky about eating it in a restaurant but let me tell you, it was some of the BEST Greek food I have eaten that is not homemade. Eleni's was a charming restaurant. I don't always enjoy calamari but I couldn't get enough of this recipe. This was my first time trying Moussaka. I expected a parallel to Italian lasagna or eggplant parmigiana, but it wasn't that as it was spiced differently. It was very quiet when my group had lunch there on a weekday. Perhaps this was simply due to the time and the reservation requirement, but I urge anyone with an appetite for Greek cuisine (or who knows folks who do) to support this local, independent restaurant as it richly deserves the business. read more

We had a beautiful day hosting our friends Bridal shower in Eleni's private dining room. We had about 14 guests and the room was so cozy and perfect for the event. The room is on the other side of the main dining room so it felt extremely intimate, like we rented out the whole restaurant. The staff setup a beautiful buffet display with an amazing selection of food and a mimosa bar. The food here is absolutely incredible, authentic Greek food, there is nothing better that this in MA! My favorite are the chicken meatballs, spinach pies, and tzatziki hummus, I luckily was able to pack a couple of boxes to take home. The staff is incredible, friendly, and we're so helpful with anything we needed while we were getting our decorations together. Eleni herself is amazing and was so welcoming to us all. We had a great time and would recommend anyone hosting an intimate event to book here. I will definitely be coming back soon! read more
