Chicken Shish Kebab plate
Ellen S.

Food was excellent and there was a lot of it! Turned into two meals for me. Serviced by a young lady at the counter that answered all of my questions. I sat outside and listened to the Red Sox while waiting for my meal. Great experience. Definitely will go back when I'm in Winchester again

Lamb Shish Kebab

This little gem in Winchester is some of the best Greek food around. The staff and ambience is great along with the food. I always get the lamb shish kebab with the lemon potatoes. Absolutely amazing. Two thumbs up

Falafel wrap
Guli K.

Wow! Freshly prepared, delicious mediterranean food. Ordered the falafel wrap and the chicken kebab plate - both were so yummy! Falafel wrap was much larger than expected, generous amount of falafel, high quality mixed greens with the right amount of sauce all wrapped up in a fresh pita. Chicken kebab plate was served with rice, french fries, pita and two skewers of chicken perfectly spiced layered with onion, peppers and tomatoes. New favorite spot!

Spinach pie and lemon chicken soup are very good. Place is pretty small so mainly a take-out place.

Great place for Mediterranean food. I had the gyro and grilled chicken. Both flavorful and the salad / vegetable was fresh.

Pasha never disappoints. When we are in the mood for Middle Eastern/Mediterranean comfort food, it…read moreis in our top five places to go, to enjoy wonderful food and to relax in a warm, cozy atmosphere. We were greeted by the owner and made to feel comfortable as soon as we walked in. This time, as usual, we started with the red lentil soup and hummus. Both delicious and the hummus as smooth as silk and not over-loaded with tahini. We tried the fried calamari for the first time, and I wouldn't order that again; I think it's a frozen product they simply reheat; the sauce that came with it was good and the calamari tasty, but not what you're looking for if you want calamari. Our choice of entree is usually get the Fainting Imam, stuffed eggplant with vegetables, pine nuts and raisins, and it is heavenly, but this time I decided to experiment and ordered the Vegetable Mousakka With Béchamel Sauce. I was a little disappointed in the dish; it was made up of a variety of vegetables, sliced thin and layered. There was a piece of fried potato I couldn't cut through; it was really crunchy-hard. I ate it; it was good, but too done. What disappointed me was the absence of Bechamel sauce; it may have been there, but if it was, I couldn't taste or see it. Maybe a foam??? That was one of my reasons for trying the dish; I expected more of a Pastitsio-like layer of Bechamel or at least something I could discern in the dish. The Shepphard salad did not come with my entree (I don't know why? It comes with the Imam?), but I had to order it; it is out of this world. Simple and delicious. Particularly appealing to me is that they do not include large pieces of green pepper in the salad; there were a few bits, but not overwhelming. Next time, I might just get that salad, the soup and some hummus!!! I may have whined a little here, but don't let anything I said keep you away from Pasha. The owner, the staff and the food are wonderful.

I tried the lentil soup (absolutely recommending it!!!) and the shepherds salad (refreshing and quite filling!). My friend had the sampler, so we got to experience some of the in-house delicacies. Middle eastern vibes and the food is a recommendation by itself. If you are looking for a lovely place to impress your dining companions... this is it!

Luckily, it mostly lived up to the hype! The interior is TINY - really only space for one party at a time. Some dry goods, some beverages, some pastries, and then the cold case. We originally went in looking for a cake, but the pastries are more muffin/cookie types. They have maybe 15 different cold salad/dip/appetizer types inside a cold case. After checking them all out, we settled on some grape leaves, beet labne dip, and mediterranean hummus. The first thing we tried were the grape leaves. Amazing taste - ever so slightly lemony, moist without being soggy, and held together by a tangy grape leaf. At $10 for maybe 10 grape leaves, I wasn't super impressed by the value here, but the taste was great. Fortunately, no such value reservations on the other two! The beet cacik was really creamy, with lots of beet flavor and all tied together by the yogurt. The mediterranean hummus definitely tasted like olives, but was the perfect not too smooth but also not chunky texture. Definitely devoured everything from here and would love to go back and try some other new tastes!

The food here is incredible - all of it! Highly recommend the lentil fingers, spicy hummus, and…read moresimit but everything I've had is delicious.
