The last time I was in the Boston area, I was blown away by Carls on prospect. See that review. This time I am staying in Woburn and was very hopeful that I had found another great gem. Most reviews would give you that idea. I ordered the steak and cheese with mushrooms for 9.90 with tax. The flavor was just ok but what really surprised me was how light the sandwich was when i picked it up. I would say 5 ozs of meat and mushrooms. The only comparison that comes to mind is a 5.00 cheese steak from WaWa, if your familiar with that gas station deli. I travel extensively and eat at wawa entirely too often up and down the east coast. Perhaps Olympia's other offerings are better? In retrospect I wish I would have gotten the two slices and drink combo for 40% less. Probably better tasting and certainly more food. read more

Receipt from Olympia (not doordash) shows I paid Olympia for $8.25 worth of drinks that I did not receive. Olympia refused to deliver, refused to refund. Told me to call doordash for a refund. Called DoorDash. DoorDash confirmed I paid Olympia for the drinks, not DoorDash. Olympia guy was a jerk on the phone, told me he didn't have time to deal with me because he was busy and I was tying up his phone line. Well, thanks and enjoy the $8.25 worth of drinks you stole. I've been here a handful of times since I work not even a minute away and have been impressed with my choices each time. The turkey sub I ordered the first time had fresh veggies and delicious, moist turkey. I don't believe it has made in house but it is good quality meat. The second time I was there, I had a large roast beef sandwich to truly test out the name (pizza might be the next!). The buttered bun was fresh and held up well to the close to a half pound of roast beef and again, sported fresh lettuce and tomato I was upset I forgot to add a sauce and I don't believe they have a "special sauce" as some RB joints offer up but luckily I was able to locate some mayo packets in my office which complimented the sandwich well. The decor wasn't changed from the old Sub Factory. The staff that I have come across are very friendly and accommodating. Tables have been clean even though the decor is a bit bland. I actually miss the flat screen, digital menus that were there when it was SF but the food quality continues to have me coming back for lunch during work. Bottom line, this place has solid grub. If you don't want to venture into Woburn Center and instead, want a decent deli option off of Washington St, check it out some time. Olympia Ave is rather sleepy compared to it's connecting street as long as you don't mind some big rigs entering the area in the industrial parks. Roast beef sammies are to DIE for! Went there for the first time this week and had to go back again 2 days later!! I couldn't even finish the medium. It was mouthwatering! They have some really good specials and the prices are excellent. So wicked friendly too. As soon as i walked in even the cook (maybe also the owner?) peeked over and said hello and when i was leaving he yelled thank you! Also, pizza by the slice available if you don't want a whole one. It looked good! Sides are the usual: fries, onion rings, chips, mozzarella sticks etc. They have a cooler where you can get your drink from too. You can eat in here if you don't want to get take out. Good sized dining area. I hardly had the time to sit down and look around too long because before you know it my food order was up. Maybe waited a minute! Tops!!! I have been to this establishment 2x in the past 2 weeks and both times have had issues with the order. 1. I ordered a large roast beef sub cold, by the time I got to my destination, I realized they had given me a super beef on bulkie roll. I called and they said that I had asked for the super beef when the receipt clearly stated large sub. 2. then just recently my girlfriend and I decided to try again. her order was fine and again mine was messed up. asked for LG ITALIAN XTRA MAYO NO HOTS OR ONIONS, again when I got to my destination, discovered that there was no MAYO and hot peppers (reaction here). the receipt also forgot to mention mayo, but did say NO HOTS, but yet hots were discovered half way thru the sub. not sure what the problem is even though the cashier even read back to me and they still got it wrong...I think this will be my last time in this business. read more

Great to find out that one of the Aegean Fair & Mykonos Fair cooks has teamed up with the former owner of Melrose House of Pizza & created a unique restaurant in Woburn! Great Diner food, amazing specials! Good Greek themed food, and phenomenal pizza! The other date order Chicken Souvlaki, wife got Grilled Chicken Greek salad & the little guy got a grilled cheese with tomatoes! Took home a cheesesteak calzone! I was on my way back home today when I took a turn off rte 95 at exit 36 Washington st Woburn. Found a out of the way place to eat on Olympia Ave. It was called appropriately enough the Olympia Grille. It was absolutely fantastic. The BEST VALUE IN Food with a fabulous selection of dinners, sandwiches, salads, pizza, subs and so much more. I had the roast beef on a roll and its the best I've ever had. The quality of the food and attention to detail is the best. Very clean is important to note. Its twenty miles from my house and I'm going back right away. They even have real Giros. I was initially reluctant to try this place because it doesn't look that interesting from the outside, and The Sub Factory that was previously occupied the space was terrible. I decided to give it a try, liked it and came back a second time. Very solid quality and very nice, hard working employees. I had a great chicken parm pannini on homemade rosemary foccaccia that was fresh and very good. I'm glad I gave it a try, and will definitely be back. read more

Best Greek salad in town. Add the grilled chicken & it's the best lunch in the area. I've been coming here 2-3 times a week for more than a year & have strayed a few times only to come back. Deano is the owner & has a type of "soup nazi" quality to him. It's not uncommon to hear him light up one of his people during the lunch rush for making a mistake. If the line gets too deep he'll shout at you from the kitchen to get your order started early. He demands perfection from his staff & the result is an incredible lunch. read more

I remember when they would charge you an extra $1 to use a credit/debit card. Yes, I know the economy is bad. But, gimmicks like those always lose at the end. And, now what? Sub Factory, you're dead. What, son? Yehh, that's what I thought. After a new establishment has taken its place, the decor hasn't changed much at all. The place looks empty, there's bad lighting, cafeteria-esque. But, the service was welcoming and friendly! I'm a little confused by the receipt. There looks to be 2 taxes? I don't know. I went for the special of the day -- (Large-ish?) Roast Beef, small fries and a 12 ounce fountain soda for roughly $8. It was pretty damn delicious for what you can find in the area. For roast beef, you would need to travel to downtown Woburn for sub-par roast beef. Believe me, I've tried one certain place that wasn't good at all. I have to say that Olympia actually does it pretty well. Razor thin sliced beef, melty and juicy on a sesame seed bun. Thinking of it makes me want another. The whole menu looks standard from any typical pizza/sub shops. Whole pizzas $10 - 15. Subs and sandwiches $4 - 7 Plates $7 - 9 They have good hours, if you're hungry after work. 10:30am - 8pm Monday - Saturday, closed on Sundays. Delivery is available at a $15 minimum. It doesn't appear to have any delivery charges, so that is always a good thing. It's not a bad place. I'll be back again. read more

Went here for the first time during a lunch break where I only get 30 minutes. Now the break was at 5:30pm, so it was no rush hour lunch time. I got a small italian and a fry. Ending up being a little over 10 bucks. Kinda pricey in my opinion, but I had my food in about 10 minutes. There was someone who called in ahead of me, then 2 people walked in right after I ordered. Food was great. No complaints. When you walk in I was greeted and when I left I was told to have a good day. Rarely find that type of stuff. For the service and quality of food, the price is fitting. I've been eating at Olympia once a week for about 2 years. It's consistently good and the service is terrific. They have very affordable lunch specials, pizza, chicken fingers and roast beef. And portions are always generous. Their Chicken Kabob is one of my favorites, the salad is always fresh, I have yet to encounter brown lettuce or mushy tomatoes. But you can't go wrong with the Roast Beef Special Large Beef and Fries and a drink for under $8. A nice touch is they always say goodbye to their guests, yelling from the kitchen, it's a nice friendly gesture. read more

I like coming to Olympia because they have your order done fast and the food is good. I really like the Caesar salad with steak :), tasty. The chicken finger basket is also a good lunch if you like chicken. It comes with chicken finger, fries and a small drink for like $7 something, which isn't bad at all. Another reg I get from there is the steak and cheese. They give you such a good amount of meat and it's fresh and hot. Dropped in here about 3 pm Wednesday. Kinda between lunch and dinner but when you travel you eat when it's convenient. My son had the roast beef sandwich lunch special which came with a generous portion of hot delicious fries and a soft drink. The made to order sandwich had to have 3/4 lb. of fresh sliced rare roast beef and he said it was amazing! I ordered the steak tip sub because it had good reviews. It did not disappoint! The cook/server suggested getting it Greek style. With feta cheese and Greek dressing. If you are a feta fan you'll love it. Sometimes I find it a little overpowering so I brushed off most of it and enjoyed the heck out of the perfectly medium rare chunks of savory beef steak. Indeed this place is clean, comfortable, updated, and has the largest selection of food options! I was torn between the gyro and going the healthy path of a salad. This place has recently been taken over by new management (within the past month). This used to be my go to lunch place when I was in a rush because the food was consistent, made as you ordered, and most of the people were friendly. Since the change, I have ordered on three separate occasions. All three times my order has been made incorrectly, I don't order anything complicated. Usually it's a simple adjustment like no tomato. Today's order was made wrong not once but twice. I first discovered my sandwich was wrong when I got back to work. I called right away and notified them, the person on the line asked if I wanted to go back and get my sandwich remade. Not really but what other choice do I have? I went back, waited around while they remade it. I went to leave with my "remade" food and checked right before I left and what do you know - wrong again. At this point I was so frustrated as I wasted my entire lunch break because someone can't be bothered to slow down and make sure things are made properly. I went back in and the person at the counter was rather annoyed with me like I was the idiot making the food wrong. I told him my sandwich was wrong again and I wanted my money back. He insisted they would remake it I told him I'm all set with their restaurant, clearly they are very careless making food which makes me think they're careless in how they handle food.
