They have excellent chicken cutlet subs. My wife and I crave them from time to time. They have great value. A large is HUGE. And they have excellent customer service and delivery service. We moved to Billerica five years ago and this is our "go-to" delivery sub shop. read more

What can I say? The past 3 orders have been wrong. 3 strikes and you're out. Avoid this place.

This was a hidden gem!! Food was delicious and the ladies very friendly, the meat ball sub was awesome and you great. Thank you.

Real bad. Super greasy sauce was awful. Crust was weirdly soft. Just not good at all can't think of anything positive to say. Really bad

Food is over priced and the subs hardly have anything in them honestly it's terrible. Got a small pizza and the dough is paper thin no taste. I've given this place a few tries and each time disappointed. Will not be back. read more

I am starting to wonder about these yelp ratings. Italian sub lacking of meat design and flavor. I have my doubts when they asked me if I wanted mayo on it. Had tiny chicken wings. I use help and try different places because of ratings and aways try to find positive things to say. But these reviews are either old or no one uses yelp anymore. Or people need to expand their food universe. Perhaps this place was once good but it's long past it's prime. I hate doing this to small businesses but food was sub par not very appealing or good and this is a sub shop! Lol it's been around since 1990 and probably has not been cleaned since then. read more

I've been ordering from this place regularly for close to 2 years now. Their staff is amazing, and their food is AMAZING!!! Whenever I order a sub, I always get the large sub because if they cut it into 3's, you'll have enough for 3 meals! They have one of the best order placing apps too! Has a real-time tracker (similar to Domino's) and it's ALWAYS accurate. read more

Great pizza great service, always fast delivery! I recommend the meatball calzone. The large subs are the size of my entire arm! So good!!!

Everything we have ever ordered from here is delicious, from the pizza to salads! All ingredients are fresh and well prepared! Never had a bad meal here. Everything is always hot, fresh and ready when they say it's going to be. The portions are huge! Almost always get two meals from one order. The staff are super helpful, friendly and take pride in the food they put out. They go the extra mile to make sure their customers are taken care of. Their customer service is top notch! The cookies, cakes and ice cream are also delicious! Nice to be able to grab a little sweet treat for afterwards! read more

First time here, called in a pick up order. They were super nice and timely. Got a small cheese pizza and a steak and cheese sub. I loved the pizza. Just moved near here, will definitely come again (that's a given) read more

Very Disappointing! Been going here for years. Always good food. I have worked at a pizza sub shop for years myself, and tried every single place you can think of. New people running Brando's, and unfortunately do not know what they are doing, and cutting down on the portions as well. We ordered Steak and cheese subs- I literally thought I had a empty sub roll when I pulled the sub out from the bag. opened it up, literally half the meat, couldn't taste the cheese, dry and over cooked. French Fries- no salt and you can tell they reheated them by throwing them back in the fryer, and still were not hot. literally tasted like the microwave Oreida French fries. . Mozzarella Sticks- half were cooked fine, but not crunchy or hot as though they had been sitting a long time. The other half of the mozzarella sticks were cooked halfway and cold. had a small pizza last week, too much cheese and did not brown, crust was overcooked. I will not be back until I hear reviews have improved. read more

Great steak and cheese subs. Pizza is very good too. Good little joint in Lowell. Hits better when your fucked up

Brandon's is my spot! There are a bunch of places closer to my house but it's well worth the extra drive. Never once had a bad experience! The employees are also great. The girl with the red hair is the best! Can't recommend this place enough! read more

I've never been in this place so much since the new owners took over. I've never been disappointed. The owners are awesome & personable. Please support this local business. Ps try the Greek salad wrap with grilled chicken. They make their own marinade & it's wicked good! read more

The staff is kind and the food is always great quality. Pasta is on point, the sides are enjoyable and the pizza hits the spot.

My sub was loaded with chicken and it was not bad, Just average but fine for when you are having a late craving if you happen to be near here. it was supposed to come with fresh mozzarella but there wasn't much and it was completely melted. My friends meal came with waffle fries and we agreed this was the best part of our order. read more

Brando's Pizza & Sub - Pizza Near Me - Lowell, Massachusetts

The food and service at Brando's is 2nd to none! I have ordered from here frequently after my injury and have always been impressed with them. Today I requested my side sauce to have less chucks. Not only did they do their best to remove them but wrote a message on the inside of my calzone box. This kind of service and caring doesn't exist is many places. I am very grateful for the delicious food they deliver and the service both during ordering and delivery read more

First let me start by saying, the staff is awesome extremely friendly and helpful. However, the Sandwiches are a big disappointment. The first time I went I ordered a large Italian sub with everything. The sub roll was definitely big, but it was lacking volume, not enough meats and cheese, plus they skipped a few of the condiments. I was disappointed with the quality of the sub, but I thought it was a one time thing and I will try them again. I did go back recently and ordered a large steak and cheese, again I was very disappointed. I think they forgot to add the steak. I ordered a large 20" sub and the amount of steak in it wouldn't be enough to fill a 6" sub. The steak was dry lacked seasoning, I asked for onions on It but those too were hard find. I will say this, they bread was nice and fresh. Unfortunately, I will not be going back. read more

By far some of the worst food I have ever had while living in lowell. My boyfriend and I were at the Laundromat next door when we decided to go over to Brandos to get lunch. That was a mistake. The lady at the counter was very nice, and the place could use some work but its not bad. We ordered our food, I got a steak tip salad and my boyfriend got a gyro. After not too long both were ready. My steak was awful, it had a lot of fat on it and tasted more like a cube steak than steak tips. My boyfriend said his gyro was equally as bad, if not worse than my steak. We both left there feeling full, but not in any sort of good way. A few hours later we both felt extremely sick. I live right around the corner and absolutely would never step foot into that place again. read more

Brando's Pizza & Sub is pretty tucked away on the border of Lowell and Tewksbury. It shares a mini strip-mall with a laundromat and a barbershop. I think it's really only accessible to a bunch of neighborhoods around the area. -Food- The subs are huge! Get the large and it will feed two people easily. The pizza has a harder less-traditional crust, but I actually don't mind it. You can buy soda from them also, so they can be your one-stop-shop for lunch or dinner if you want. -Service- I usually phone in my order and I find it a bit difficult to understand the other end because of their thick accents. It's not the worst I've heard and the important part is them understanding me, right? They have never given me a wrong order. They are quick to fill orders and the food is usually ready to be picked up in about 15 minutes. -Extra- I always grab a menu because there are usually great coupons attached to them just to add that little extra for next time. Usually free fries or onion rings on a purchase of $20 or more. -Conclusion- Brando's is essentially right down the street from me and they have great pizzas and massive, delicious subs. The staff is friendly but foreign-sounding so communication is a little limited. They also do not deliver. Who really cares though? Their food is well worth getting into your car for (especially if you live within a mile of it like I do). read more

You order the larger sub you get a larger sub!! I had ordered the large Italian and it measured about 18" long and delicious! The pizzas there are run of the mill. Better than domino and little Caesars! Great staff and owners Definitely worth the stop. read more

Awful Customer service after claim my order was wrong they argued with me then claimed I was wrong. After 30 minutes someone else called me rudely saying yet again I was wrong, and to add food first was not what we ordered and was not that great Especially for the money it cost. Very unsatisfied! read more

I caught COVID this past week and Brando's chicken noodle has come in clutch for a warm meal during a hard time. Very homey feeling. I've yet to try the clam chowder or wedding soup but I'll work on it!! Great soup, great people! read more

You can pick up dinner, do your laundry and play the lottery in one spot!! Nice! Brando's is a weekly eating destination for me and my family if take out is needed. I usually get the veal parm with spaghetti and it's delicious. They have pretty tasty pizza, fries and chicken fingers as we'll. Thry have huge subs if you order a large and do a pretty good job with the fill in the subs. Give them a try the food is good and they are pretty quick at getting food ready in a timely fashion. read more

Friendly, clean and cheap. They have been around for awhile and I've always been going there. Underdogs, I believe this place is a hidden gem because its not in a busy area. One of the best in lowell. read more

We love the subs but tonight we went with the pizza. It was terrible! Under cooked- new sauce? Weird cheese? Super disappointed!

Amazing!!! Low prices, great atmosphere, and best of all yummy menu selections. The sub's are huge...20 inches. The staff is super helpful and strive to give you the best experience. The Chicken Kabob, and Gluten Free Pizzas are my favorite items, all though you can't go wrong with any menu choices! read more

DO NOT GO HERE. This place is DIRTY. I watched the man working the register/ handling dirty money make food with NO gloves and without washing his hands. The bathroom had pee all over the floor and the seat, not to mention it smelt like it's never been cleaned. And my order was completely wrong. read more

The food is great and always gets done quick. Best mozzarella sticks around by far! Great place to stop in for a quick bite to eat.

Absolutely terrible customer service! Called for 30 minutes straight and they wouldn't answer the phone. Pick up and hang up over and over. I drive down and they're intentionally ignoring all calls. Never ordering from here again! The least you can do is pick up the phone and say HOLD ON! Then they charge me full price! No idea how customer service works! read more

Come here every once in a while, subs are huge and pizza is good to say the least. Pretty good sides although that's hard to mess up. I give 3 stars cause they've messed up some of our orders in the past and one of them being a pretty bad mess up, but we like the food and they continue to provide food we like. read more

I stopped in for a sub last night and couldn't believe the size of the thing! Excellent value. I also got to play some metal slug and pinball while I waited for my fries. Glad to see some old arcade cabinets kicking around. I'll definitely come back here. read more

The food is good and as local pizza places go, it's clean and nice. way too much cheese on the calzone. they like cut a window in the top of the calzone and then fill it with cheese (there's already cheese inside). I need a better calzone balance. read more

Went there while doing laundry. It is a Pizza and Sub Shop, not a fine dining experience. I have to give it 4 Stars. Usually places like this the cooks and people behind the counter are unfriendly and just like "What do you want?" and make you feel rushed. This place was friendly and had a great menu. As far as the food goes, I loved how they made the Calzone with the right amount of bread almost like a pizza not a giant ball of bread with cheese and meat in it. I also ordered the jalapeños poppers which were also great. Finished my laundry, got the food to go. The guy behind the counter made a few jokes and I was on my way. Overall it was a good experience and I would most likely make it my regular spot but it doesn't have beer. read more

Pretty decent pizzas and subs at Brando's. It's what you'd expect from a traditional pizza and sub place.

I love this place. I order food here once a week because its right down the street from my house. The food is good for a pizza joint. Prices are reasonable. Their large subs are 20 inches long, which is nice when splitting a meal. It also has a family owned feel and the staff is always very friendly. read more
