Called and Ordered a steak and cheese sub , 2 Cajun fries and large half hamburger /cheese pizza at 3:27. Waited for 25 minutes inside to pick up. Owner was yelling to staff that I was there to pick up and not one of the staff members acknowledged it or checked. Owner kept Noticing we were standing there and kept trying to get the staff members to finish our order and get us out of there. Again no one looked for slip or food. After waiting for 25 min the owner I think he's the owner anyway kept saying I was here for Pick up. Finally someone checked and the order had been sitting out for the entire time we were there. Got home. Food is absolutely cold. Pizza was completely burnt. Couldn't even eat the pizza . I had taken a bite and the pizza snapped from the burnt pizza underneath. I have been going to espressos my entire life over 30 years! I have never seen anything like this. The owner who is always great and is still amazing. I have nothing bad to say about him he's always so friendly and on top of things. Usually the older guys who work there are great! No complaints. As for the younger staff, very lost and have no idea what they are doing. The younger staff definitely needs training!!! They were extremely incompetent. Mind you I was not the only customer complaining while I was in there I saw atleast 3-4 very unhappy customers shaking their heads and whispering under there breath while walking away. This is unacceptable. It's not like we spent a few bucks we spent like $42 bucks on food we didn't even eat and food was cold and burnt. One of the cooks said as we were walking out "oh he's pissed" and we heard and my fiance yelled back " yeah I've been coming here for 40 years and have never had such terrible service." Which of course we were pissed waiting for Almost half hour and our order was sitting Out and not handed to us because no one cared to look for the slip or food even though the manger/ owner had made it very known we were there waiting.... I feel bad because I love this establishment and I love the main guy who works there because he's always upbeat and friendly and this has nothing to do with him because he tried his best to get these kids to grasp The concept that we were waiting and they weren't comprehending or something. Also normally the food is wonderful which is why I keep coming back but I've never seen such a mess. Hope this staff gets the extra training and time Management for this line of work because espressos won't be a favorite of many people In the area if not. read more

I LOVE THIS PLACE SO MUCH! I love that they keep the classic pizza shop essence in their interior. And although it sucks that they don't offer delivery, I'd still make my way to get it because their pizza is just that good. Big bubbles and a tasty, on the sweet size, sauce. My kids would only eat Espresso Pizza and now I've got my grandchildren loving it, as well. On my first visit to this place, I just wanted spaghetti with red sauce with added sauteed mushrooms. My favorite. I had previously had a bite of their pizza and it was good, so I figured I'd like their other menu items. But....alas.....no. The spaghetti was cooked. That's the only good thing I can say. The sauce was very watery and there was a puddle of tomato water in the bottom of the pan. The pasta was barely pink from the 'sauce'. Sadly, the mushrooms were equally disappointing. A small, unassuming restaurant downtown, has a constant stream of locals who know about this place coming in and out all day. Hands down the best pizza in the area from personal experience. If you get there in the mood for something in addition to the pizza, I'd suggest the cajun fries. Delicious, made right there, and has just the right amount of spice. The sauce tasted sweet with lots of cheese and tasty toppings. My choice had chopped green peppers, chopped onions, and fresh mushrooms, which was very good!
