Greek salad with chicken. Amazing! Enough for 2 meals.

Got the most amazing salad last night for dinner. Was huge and so fresh. So many veggies and their grilled chicken is so flavorful.

During a walk with mum, we decided to stop by Mill City. The staff and other customers are very friendly and social. I wasn't really interested in pizza, so opted for bbq chicken wings instead. The chicken wings appear to have barbeque sauce poured all over the chicken after they were cooked. You can already smell the blood pressure rising lol. Luckily, the chicken wasn't smothered evenly, so I spread the sauce sparingly.

What's left of my gyro lol

We usually just order pizza from here, but tonight we wanted something different. Got two steak and cheese subs, a steak tip salad, a cheese stick kids meal, buffalo wings with fries and a gyro. Food came quickly and was nice and hot. Now I've had many gyros. This gyro was AMAZING! This will now be my go to when I order from here. The subs were also packed with so much meat. My son hates steak and cheese and he almost finished a large sub. The portions are also very large. We have so much food left over. Thank god it's Friday. We'll have the rest of the food as our midnight snack. Oh the delivery guy was also extremely friendly. Totally recommend this place.

I get food from here pretty often. Great price, great/fast service, great food! (Okay, the wings were a little burnt in the picture, I get wings there often but I forgot to take pic lol). My favorite thing to get from there would be the steak tip Caesar salad. Make sure to let them know how you want your steak, if not, you'll get them well done. They have one of the best clam bellies too!

The service isn't great they mess up your order and don't like to fix it. The food is okay but could be better.

This Long Island NY based Halal chain has been expanding from the Tri State area into New England. There are also plenty of competing Halal food trucks in NYC. The space was remodeled which is an order at the counter place with lighted menu screens and indoor table seating. They also offer online ordering and DoorDash delivery. They offer platters, salads, gyros, cheese steak subs, burgers, chicken sandwiches, fries, chicken nuggets & wings, baklava, and drinks in the cooler. The pricing seems fair. On my way back home, I stopped by Shah's Halal Food Lowell for takeout. I placed my online pickup order through DoorDash since I had credits. I ordered the Beef Chapli & Chips Platter ($11.99 plus tax) and Assorted Baklava ($3.49 plus tax). My online order was all set to go in about 13 minutes. The platter had soft seasoned ground beef kabobs, thin pakora chips, served over soft basmati rice and a mix green salad with creamy white sauce plus the optional hot sauces too. The platter had good savory and spicy flavors. The prepackaged assorted baklava was a good sweet treat for the after meal. I would definitely stop by again for more Halal takeout. I can already sense that Shah's could be expanding into NH, since the demand for Halal food is there. This Lowell branch is about 10 minutes to NH on Mammoth Road.

Overall not terrible, one upside is that they're open until 1 or 2 am on weekends.

We had a gap between this most recent visit, and our previous visit, probably close to six months (I'm guessing October of 2025 was our previous visit). We went in not that long ago, within the last month or so. Dine in. I am pretty sure the business has new owners, at least the kitchen and wait staff were all different from our previous visits. We were the only people sitting in the restaurant. Other than a handful of Doordash orders, not a lot going on here. Service staff basically ignored us. Too busy looking at their phone. Chicken was dry, chewy. Kimchi fried rice was dry (how do you even pull that off??). After we were finished eating (ate maybe a 1/4 of the food) we sat there for like 25 minutes staring at our plates with the wait staff sitting on a table like maybe 15-20 feet away from us staring at their phone. I had to get up and walk over to ask for the check. So, in summary, food was bad, service was worse and to be honest, food was way over priced. We're never coming back to this place. Unfortunate too, used to be good and there are not a ton of options for Korean fried chicken in the Lowell area. You're better off at Bon Chon (well, unless they took a nose dive since our last visit too...).

That's a heavy load to take on and he does a great job at it. Everything is super cheap here and taste great. If you're a student at Middlesex Community college like me. Let's face it, theres days when we're broke and need a place to grab a cheap quick lunch. This is definitely the spot. Pizza rolls: I love these things. He made them perfectly and you can tell he hand rolls them himself. And they're only a $1!! Double cheeseburger: BOMB! I'm so picky with burgers. I don't give a shit if it's messy looking, lets be real. If it tastes good, it's serving it's purpose. I'm super picky and customized it as I liked and he accommodated it. Thank you! Not many places do! Fries: perfectly crunchy. Not soft and soggy like most places. Maybe a little less seasoning. I know not a lot of people like spicy foods. But I enjoy it. Chicken Kabob Plate: my boyfriend and I split this because of how big it was. We ordered it with extra rice instead of the usual side of salad it comes with. The owner offered us either Indian or Spanish rice. We went with the Spanish and it tasted great, it even had vegetables in it. The chicken was nice and juicy with grilled peppers and onions. The rice and chicken had a nice kick to it. Not too spicy and just flavor. Chicken and Fries (not pictured): My boyfriend devoured this. The chicken is definitely not anything like crown fried or Jacqueline's chicken. The owner literally uses his own recipe. My boyfriend loved it and the chicken looked really fresh and juicy. He swallowed the thing before I even got a chance to take a picture of it lol. Please go visit guys! This little place has so much potential. It might seem a little stand off it by the looks of it but it's worth going in and trying it out The owner is so sweet, he even offered my boyfriend a free banana milkshake while he waited for the food to be done.
