We tried the hot box for chicken tenders at medium, hot and reaper. The chicken tenders are crunchy outside and juicy inside. Medium and hot tenders are tasty and full of flavor. Reaper is at totally a different level. I am not sure reaper is meant to be food to enjoy, but challenge your spice tolerance level. I eat a lot of spicy food without any problem, but my mouth and throat were on fire with just one bite of reaper tender. One more thing to caution is that the spice kicks in late with a delayed reaction. So recommend not to have huge and quick bites... Anyway, it is a fun experience. We will probably not try reaper any more, but will come back for medium and hot tenders.

#Dave's #4 1 Slider with Fries

I LOVE DAVE'S HOT CHICKEN. I'm in my big back era because of Dave's. I love spicy food so I get everything in 'hot' level spicy which is still spicy for me but it balances well with honey and the Dave's sauce. I always order from Uber Eats and every time there is always an issue like a piece of plastic being fried into my chicken, a hair inside the cheese sauce, and last time was they forgot my honey. It's always something wrong or missing but the food is still good.

Dave's #2 2 Sliders w/ Fries

The portions are enormous! Got a two for one special in uber eats ( don't judge we are quarantined and couldn't pick up ) The sliders are as big as normal chicken sandwiches. I got mild and it was still hot ( in a good way ) Hubby got hot. Good hot he said ! Not a huge fan of the kale slaw and for over $4 I wouldn't get it again. Didn't have much flavor. Only downside though Yum !

Super tasty!! Got the two-slider combo with Reaper-level spice on the chicken. Was very satisfied. Reaper spice - quite spicy, was uncomfortable eating the sandwich after a while and mouth was burning with every bite. Worth it for the experience although I'm getting too old to do this now and going to go w regular spice next time to enjoy the sandwich more. The sandwich - so delicious!! Nice bun and super fresh. Kale slaw - very good! Classic and light flavor. Mac and Cheese - great classic side with nice flavor and paired nicely with the super spicy chicken. Fries - delicious and well made! Great job. Looking forward to the next time.

Dave's Hot Chicken is easily one of the best spicy chicken spots out there. The chicken is ridiculously juicy, the breading is crispy without being greasy, and the heat levels range from chill to wild (hello, Reaper ). The sliders are huge and loaded, especially with that buttery bun, tangy pickles, and creamy comeback sauce. Sides like fries round it out perfectly. Whether you're a spice lover or just here for the flavor, Dave's doesn't disappoint.

2 sliders combos and extra slaw and Mac and cheese

Beware of the Reaper! Nik K and I both got the 2 sliders combo Reaper level. So I can handle heat and spicey and the reaper definitely deserves the name. It was VERY spicy. My mouth was burning after a few bites. I know why they make you sign a waiver before eating this!! If you can handle spicy you should definitely try it. I finished my meal but I personally will probably tone it down next time because my mouth and stomach were on fire! Anyways, aside from the heat, the sliders were delicious. The chicken had a nice crispy coating and well with the sweet bun, slaw, pickles and special sauce. Loved the crinkle cut fries! Super good. We also got extra sides of kale slaw and Mac and cheese.

To start off, this location is so nice with a good amount of parking with beautiful graffiti art. I went with my friend and I wasn't that hungry but i really wanted french fries. We ended getting the slider and one tender combo with an extra side of french fries to share. We got the slider in mild and it was mild; we couldve definitely gone up two more levels and maybe just break a sweat. The burger is a dry rub but the cutlet is super juicy. One of the best fast food chicken sandwiches. The french fries were well seasoned and crispy. I didnt love the special sauce that it comes with; tastes like ranch with paprika. Overall, I think this is one of the better fast food restaurants i've been too. P.s. make sure to ask for a honey packet... it pairs perfectly with the chicken.

Only one order in sealed bag. Notice it says 1/2.

I went back last night to see if I can get a refund. The manager could not locate my order, even with the order number and my phone number. He offered to make my order again and I accepted it even though I wasn't hungry. Better than nothing. I recommend checking the order before you leave. Other than that, food was good. I like "hot" the best. They don't give you enough sauce, so I recommend purchasing extra.

#3 medium heat (fries, chicken slider, and chicken tender)
Karla M.

By far the best "fast food" chicken I've ever had--and yes, I've had plenty. I ordered the #3 which is the chicken slider + chicken tender + fries with a heat level of medium. I loved that the menu isn't too extensive cause it makes ordering easier and with this combo I got to try both version of their chicken so I didn't feel like I missed out. I honestly could've handled hot or maybe extra hot but I think medium is the right amount of heat if you want a kick but don't want to have to wipe your nose or drink water. So as far as the chicken, it was perfectly coated and a bit crispy on the outside but so flavorful on the inside. All parts of the chicken had flavor, not just the breading. I did think it could use a dab of salt but that's just my sodium addiction talking. The coleslaw on the sandwich gave it a hint of sweetness which was perfect and the pickles came in with a tart finish. The chicken piece I got was pretty thick. I was afraid I would have too much bread cause the chicken shape didn't match the bread shape but it was a perfect bread to chicken ratio. Although the chicken tender looks plain, it's just as delicious. Rub some sauce on it and you got yourself another sandwich. And speaking of sauce, their sauce it amazing; I literally dunked everything inside it. I initially regretted not trying to swap out fries for Mac and cheese but I'm glad I didn't cause the fries were awesome. They were crunchy, soft on the inside, and had flavor dust on it. This was my first time coming here but it won't be my last. Parking did suck a little but it is in a plaza so there is plenty of parking--I just didn't find any directly in front of it and there was a rain storm. The staff appeared nice and for the amount of people there it didn't take too too long. We maybe waited 15 minutes. The walls are very artsy and there's pop of color everywhere. Would highly recommend!

High-effort, well-executed and conceived takes on middle eastern and American food - lamb over rice, falafel, burgers, hot chicken sandwiches, hummus. Chicken is their strongest suit, in my estimation. They do amazing chicken tenders and chicken wings, paired with a tasty sauce and breaded for a really killer crunch. I love em. Same goes for their chicken burgers, chicken over rice combos, and chicken wraps. Lamb here is great, as is the falafel. I haven't had a bad meal with either. I tried their hummus on a recent trip and thought it was good. Nothing mind-blowing but better than the average. Also want to call out their waffle fries and onion rings, which are perfectly done. I love em to death. Whatever my main is, my side will typically be either the chicken tends or the waffle fries. For the negatives, their non-burger beef offerings suffer from the beef having lots of chewy bits in them. For example, their steak and cheese should be a sure thing, but every bite had a bit chewy bit I had to stop eating to pull out. They also overdo it on the mayo/sauce for that sandwich. So yeah, avoid their steak bomb and steak and cheese. I haven't tried their milkshakes but I am very sure they do a great job. Halal Eatz is one of those places you can usually trust to do a new item very well.

Went back a second time a few days later for a double classic cheeseburger and another cookies n cream milkshake. The restaurant is small but has a few dining tables and clean. The free hot tea is a nice touch! Halal Eats is located just a few miles from the Burlington Mall and is well worth the short drive!

It's a rough spot for businesses in my opinion, there is very little parking there on Main St. if the spots are already taken up. But I continue to get fried chicken a handful of times a year from here because it's consistent for mass marketed birds. If you are going to do just a handful of things then do them well. And the chicken is about as good as it gets for fast food style. Perfectly seasoned, maybe a tiny hint of spice and cooked to the perfect temp to ensure crispiness. I always get the dark meat, plus it's a little cheaper. I don't understand heathens who swear by white meat that has very little flavor. I tried the tenders one time and was even given one because they are "cajun" style so I wanted to make sure they didn't heat up the mouth of the kids. Flavor is excellent and I didn't taste spice at all. For the sides, the biscuits if freshly cooked are perfect, but they do tend to dry out quickly. My kids love the mac and cheese, it is very very yellow-cheesy and goopy, if that's your style. I'm ok with the mashed potatoes, they are definitely instant and I wish they had more gravy or at least it came on the side like KFC serves. I really like the customer service and camaraderie here. I've been inside before on a busy Friday night and it's mostly Indians chit chatting with one another. It has a very homely feel at times when in reality it shouldn't because it's just a storefront counter selling a handful of items. So let's recap as to how we got to the final score. Location 3/5 stars Chicken 5/5 stars Sides 3/5 stars Service 5/5 stars Two of the most important areas in my book got this up to 4 stars for the type of food it is. Fast, friendly and the star of the show is delicious!

It tasted like garbage and was so inedible I threw it away for fear of getting food poisoning. Chicken sandwich: Not bad, but there are better cheaper chicken sandwiches out there. Mac & cheese: Tasted very processed. It wasn't kraft brand but it tasted similar-ish. Waffle fries: Not bad but whoever cut them gave up half way through and just used large chunks of potato instead of fries. Overall I will never ever get food from here

Egg is definitely prevalent in a lot of their dishes, but that doesn't necessarily mean its the star in everything and they do have other options. I'd say the best thing is their spices and sauces (they have varying spice levels for those who don't like spicy). Its definitely not a fancy place, but everything we had from baked samosas to the Hum-Tum was great. Only thing I'd add is make sure to check out their drinks. They have classic mango lassi, but other types too that looked really tasty though we weren't in the mood for anything besides the basic ones. We will definitely come back!

When I ordered, the cashier was warning me like I didn't know what I ordered. I get it! I have fair skin, and the stereotyping is a real thing. I asked them if they could make it extra spicy. The person rolled their eyes at me as they said "okay". When I received my order. It was the wrong order. It looked like mine, so I ate some and I had a bite of the roti, which would be a safe assumption it maybe came with the meal. Not like it's a pricey side dish, or anything. The server comes back who was the same person who rolled their eyes at me and said it was the wrong order. They left the roti at my table. So I had another bite of the first piece. The server brings the "correct" order, and there was no heat. Maybe a 1.5 out of 10 on the heat scale. I asked if it was the correct order. The server said yes. I asked if there was something to make it hotter. The server decided to insult me in front of my family and tell me that I can pay for the roti when I am ready to leave. What?!? It was your mistake, and after you insult me twice, you want me to pay? It's not the price. It they weren't rude. I would have been happy to pay. It's a cheap, unleavened flatbread. So, the food quality is definitely Indian street food. Don't expect anything glamorous. If you want spicy food... unless you're one of those people that find black pepper spicy... get yourself a mango lassi, it is spicier than what they consider "hot". They wouldn't survive a day in my kitchen when it comes to spice. It was a waste of money. Especially paying $50 for street slop on a paper plate. (One appetizer, one soda, one drink, two entrees). No wonder why they charge first, then serve the food. This place could close down, and I wouldn't notice or care.
