This is a great place to go for a quick GOOD chicken sandwich. They know what they are doing when it comes to flavors and cooking chicken. You can't go wrong with the Buffalo chicken. But why not go out of the box and try something new. We sampled one of their specials and loved it. It had pesto fresh mozzarella and tomato. . We also had dessert not pictured. Vanilla ice cream with a chocolate chip cookie on top. All delicious. . Staff helped with recommendations. They had seating and space to wait for take out. Seemed to do a healthy take out service. I would definitely recommend.

Bacon Cheddar Waffle Fries, German Dog, and Chili Dog

We got the german dog and chili dog which were both SUPER delicious. Toasty bun, cheesy melty goodness on each dog. On the side we got bacon cheddar jack cheese fries which were AMAZING. I actually thought the prices were a bit high for hotdogs and fries until I realized the size and quality which completely justifies the price. The service was great, you walk in, order at the counter and they have the food out super quick. The overall area was clean and chill as well.

Omg, soooo good! The chicken is nice and thin and so crispy! The fries we got were delicious as well. There's so many choices too! Will have to venture back again to try something different.

We went for lunch last weekend and they have an overwhelming amount of options! My husband got a canned Cloud Candy beer and just thought overall it tasted a little old and maybe an offer of a glass would have helped. I got the tender basket, comes with 5 tenders and waffle fries along with some honey mustard. The chicken was very moist and flavored nicely. Loved the honey mustard! The fries were pretty good. My husband got the Bird is the Word sandwich and devoured it. He added cheese. He loved it. We shared the bacon cheddar jack waffle fries and overall, they were good, but some layering of the cheese would be nice for the bottom fries! The cookie we got was beyond fresh, soft, and the chocolate was nice and melty. It got pretty busy, but they have lots of seating and some outdoor as well.

I went here yesterday and I gotta say the service was great and menu was creative. I ordered one of the specials the 3 way and I got the big guy. The flavors were excellent and the fry on the chicken superb. But the chicken it self was gross. It was tough like shoe leather. It reminded me of the chicken you get all Walmart. Totally turned me off. Next time I'll be getting the hot dogs. Also, my friend got a chicken park with double chicken he had the same issue with the chicken but also he asked for extra cheese they threw a slice of American cheese on it... On a chicken parm, their should be a law against this. Also cheese wasn't melted it was stiff. The pickles were next level.

The food was good. Ordered takeout of the Nashville Hot chicken sandwich, the Cowboy pulled pork sandwich, and an order of Bacon Cheddar waffle fries. Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich: The hand breaded chicken cutlet was good, not overly greasy or drippy. The house-made apple slaw was underwhelming. You can taste the apple, but the slaw itself was bland and dry. The homemade spicy pickles were good, not spicy, but a solid pickle chip. The Nashville hot sauce and grilled butter brioche roll were great complimentary players. The standouts were the grilled butter brioche roll and the hot sauce. The Nashville Hot sauce was good, not super hot, but perfect for someone who prefers a medium to slightly hot sauce. The Nashville hot tasted similar to a hot sauce made by Food Club called Louisiana Style hot sauce. Not to boost Food Club, but the Louisiana Style hot sauce is very affordable and useable on many food items such Mexican items, BBQ, and even on Mac & Cheese. Cowboy Pulled Pork Sandwich: The house pulled pork was fine. Not spectacular, but certainly better than any fast food pulled pork you will find. The house BBQ was good, not overbearing and a solid complimentary sauce. The cheddar cheese was good. Normally I want a thicker slice of cheese, but with this sandwich the thicker slice actually took away from the pulled pork as it enveloped and overpowered it. The bacon was good and thick. Normally a thicker slice of bacon is preferred, but that along with the thick cheddar slice made it more of a bacon and cheese sandwich than a Pulled Pork sandwich. The star once again on this sandwich, as with the Nashville hot chicken sandwich, was the grilled brioche bun. Bacon Cheddar Waffle Fries: The waffle fries were good. Better than most pizza place waffle fries, although they are not hand made, and most certainly frozen freezer versions. The toppings were hit and miss. The chopped bacon, melted Jack and cheddar cheese, scallions, and house made sour cream and chives individually are good. However the proportions of each on the fries was not ideal and took away from the fries. Way too much sour cream and chives. The chive flavor overtook the bacon, cheese, and scallions. And as they were being eaten they congealed into a soggy mess. I appreciate the portions on the fries, but too much isn't always a good thing. Overall it was good experience. Better than any chicken sandwich you can get at KFC, McDonald's, or Wendy's. I have not tried Popeye's chicken sandwich yet, so anyone who thinks it's better, don't think that I am belittling them, just haven't tried it yet. The pulled pork was similar to and slightly better than the 99's Restaurant version. The fries are better than you will find at Wendy's and most pizza places. But is certainly not the main reason to visit Chicken & the Pig. The main issue is related to the prices. The sandwiches are too expensive to be sold sans sides. It should be offered with fries or coke slaw. So as a result the overall cost of the meal was just too much. It is undoubtedly better than fast food, but to charge $13 dollars for each sandwich and separately $10 dollars for the waffle fries was too much. I very well may try it again, as I live close to the establishment. I recommend it, but be prepared to pay more than you would normally pay for similar fare at other places.

    Such a big menu

A great alternative to chik fila but get the same results plus having pork. I was so overwhelmed by the menu I just ordered the basic chicken with pickles and sauce. The sauce was solid, but the pickles were freaking delicious. They had to have been homemade, if not I need to find the vendor! It's a fast casual restaurant with some seats. They had plenty of beer options so another plus over chikfila. Next time I'll try their pulled pork with chicken to get the full chicken and pig experience.

The food here is really good! I got the J-bird chicken sandwich and the Parmesan truffle waffle fries. The sandwich was really big. The buttered bun was delicious and the piece of chicken was thick and cooked perfectly. The only downside is that the prices are pretty expensive. Expect to pay a high amount for a sandwich and fries. Because of the price, I don't anticipate coming here too often. There's plenty of seating inside and the staff is really nice.

this place was good! we got it doordashed, because lynnfield is just too far to drive after a long day from work. anyways, we got the vermont, the chicken & a pig, chicken caesar wrap, and the nashville hot chicken tender basket. nothing was bad-however, the vermont and the chicken & a pig sandwiches were literally exactly the same thing, but one had a maple sauce on it (the vermont) so just keep that in mind. the chicken caesar wrap was decent! i wish the lettuce was more crisp but we got it delivered so that's not the restaurants fault. the chicken cutlets in the wrap were yummy! the star of the show.. the nashville chicken strips. OMG- these were amazing. the sauce was perfect. spicy but not unbearable, crispy but not burnt, flavorful but not salty. i loved them and will 100% be getting them again. i have no comment for the service due to not going there and getting it myself. i would skip the two chicken sandwiches and try something else though. worth a try!

I stopped by the new physical location of Chicken & The Pig at Market Street in Lynnfield during their soft opening. Their grand opening is on November 3. They also operate their food truck in the North Shore area. Chicken & The Pig serves up their hand breaded chicken cutlet sandwiches, gourmet hot dogs, chicken strips, waffle fries, salads, desserts (cookies & soft serve ice cream) and kids menu. They also have self serve Coke fountain drinks, bottled water, milk shakes, beer (on tap & bottles) and wine. The place is order at the counter with open prep kitchen and self serve table seating inside and outside patio seating in front of this shop. I ordered Sweet Heat Chicken Sandwich ($10 plus tax), The House Dog ($8: plus tax) and Nashville Waffle Fries ($7 plus tax) for carryout. The total with tax was $26.56. My food was made to order and all set in 6 minutes after ordering. I enjoyed my food nearby drinking a Large Diet Coke with the spicy food. The Sweet Heat was an excellent sandwich, a thin crisp and tender fried chicken cutlet with leaf lettuce, sliced tomato & honey chipotle aioli on a toasted buttered brioche bun. The House Dog was served messy (need a fork) had a soft grilled quarter pound frank topped with spicy brown mustard, chopped grilled onions and bacon on a toasted New England style hot dog bun. The Nashville Waffle Fries were deep fried golden crisp tossed with Nashville hot sauce and topped with a sour cream dressing and chives. Overall, the food I had was very tasty and filling. The service here was quick and friendly. I will be sure to stop in here again or at their food truck to enjoy the other chicken sandwiches and hot dogs

Chicken was so tough I couldn't bite through. Other food was mediocre especially with the high price point.
