Wifey wanted to try one of her friends favorite chicken sandwiches. We were in the area and decided to give it a try. A local chain that's won local awards and been featured on phantom gourmet. The parking lot in this location is a little tight but we didn't have any issues when we went. Wifey already knew what she wanted and I was just along for the ride. I think it was the OG sandwich was what we ordered (pickles and ranch) and fried with a garlic all dipping sauce. Overall it was a good sandwich. The chicken didn't taste overly processed like most fast food/casual chains and was perfectly fried. I'd say this is better than chik-fil-a and is always great to support local. Their bun was really good and elevated the sandwich. I would like to try their other sandwiches since the OG was a little too simple for my taste. The fries were good, but a little salty.

One of the best chicken sandwiches I've had! If you like spicy, go with the Angry Bird! The chicken was very fresh and the sauce was very tasty. For a chicken place, their ribs are also on point. Honestly it would be hard to choose between the ribs and the Angry Bird - make sure you go with a group so you can try both ;) Please come to Ohio! I really want to try their chicken and waffles, but leaving Boston too soon! Definitely have to try!

This was my first visit to the Danvers location and my takeaway impression was that they should call this place Angry Bird for the impression and vibe that the staff gave. No smiles on the faces of the employees not wearing face masks and an unpleasant bark from one of them stating that someone was illegally parked and was going to get towed. My immediate thought was that if they were able to get the orders done in less than 20 minutes the parking lot wouldn't be so packed - this was after 1pm when we entered the restaurant. As far as the food, we ordered a chocolate milk shake, the O.G., PCH, regular fries, apple fennel slaw and a 1/4 rack of ribs. The chicken had a great crunch to it - almost like a panko breaded crunch. My wife and son liked the O.G. I had the PCH and again, the chicken was crunchy. I thought the guacamole was okay and was just too much "noise" in the sandwich and that simple slices of avocado would have enhanced the taste instead of garbling it. The apple fennel slaw is an acquired taste that I just haven't acquired I guess. While it wasn't bad, I was expecting a different taste experience and it wasn't there for me. The French Fries were good especially knowing that they must have been in the bag for at least 10 minutes waiting on the sandwiches as they were t hot at all. The truffle ketchup was good . I ordered the 1/4 rack of ribs as I assumed they must be a special signature dish and was woefully disappointed as they were nit special. The chocolate shake was a great pairing for the chicken sandwiches and fries. They use Richardson's ice cream and it was blended very well. So would I come back? I think I will try their original location to see if the angry bird persona is their brand. The chicken was good but I am baffled by how long it takes. The actual chicken looks to be a butterflied breast so it is a thinner cut compared to Mother Cluckers which is my standard bearer. Angry Bird is certainly a nice addition to the choices on that street and I think if they can improve the wait time and be a little more cheerful it will give me pause before I go to Kelly's Roast Beef or one of the other fast food chains already there.

    angry fries

this presentation is disappointing. there is barely enough meat & atleast the green onions? there should also be more than just 2 people in the kitchen at a busy location like Danvers & one extra cashier to make the employees less stressed. you want food coming out consistent, MAKE YOUR EMPLOYEES HAPPY. but still love the food overall

And maybe reviewing this is like reviewing a Target ... i.e. who cares. Or maybe it's jealousy because I got there on a Saturday morning and waited in ridiculous line. After 45 minutes, I had moved 1.5 car lengths with still 50 people in front of me. I guess if you are a roast beef guru, it's for you. Funny thing, I didn't even want roast beef! Ughhh *insert SHOCKED face here!*…read more I am truly shocked and confused at the hype surrounding the 3-way roast beef sandwich and cult following it has as I couldn't figure out what was supposed to be so "special" about it that people wait in line so long for it... My husband and I arrived about an hour before this place opened on a Saturday, and the line for this sandwich was already forming outside. By the time we got inside, the line was down the street/around the corner! There are no sandwich sizes. It's pretty much a size "super beef" on an onion roll with the classic sauce, mayo & cheese. I watched the staff grab softball-sized handfuls of beef, pile it onto the buns and top it with sauce using a ladle. It was quite the operation! You can tell the fresh, rosy-pink, soft & flavorful beef is very high quality BUT the sandwich overall was not as impressive as I expected it to be in relation to the hype. I've had others where I was blown away by the taste/flavor after the first bite which is what I expected here, but it did not happen! Don't get me wrong, it was still a good/decent legitimate North Shore roast beef sandwich, but certainly NOT worth waiting in line for (in my opinion). You can get just as good of a sandwich (if not better) from other roast beef establishments without the lines/wait!

I always disregarded them as they have "cafe and market" in their name. I assumed sandwich and bakery. We decided to pull in and discovered a full restaurant, patio, and bar. We decided to sit at the bar as it was last minute and there were empty seats. Joanna, our bar tender, instantly greeted us and got us some delicious cocktails quickly. My cosmo was one of the best I had. We asked for some recommendations, and she was spot on. The caprese salad was a plump delicious heirloom tomato with delicious pesto, mozzarella and balsamic dressing. The arancini was a cheesy risotto in a bolognese sauce that my husband couldn't stop saying "fantastic." Same with me. We ended up splitting the sliced filet which was cooked to perfection. Oh, and I forgot about the delicious warm bread and parmigian oil that was to die for. Service and food are 5 stars. We are going to come back again and again!! Loved it.

My younger daughter suggested Daily Harvest Cafe in Danvers, and it turned out to be exactly what we needed. Inside, the girls ordered coffee, my granddaughter happily went straight for an M&M cookie, and my younger daughter told me I had to try something called the "Fluff Bucket," which she said had gone viral on TikTok. I am a lifelong fluff fanatic, so there was no chance I was passing that up. When I went up to the counter, I was greeted by the warmest, kindest woman with the brightest smile. I told her I had just heard about the Fluff Bucket and that as a serious fluff lover I had to try it. She laughed and said she would make one for me right away. I had no idea at the time that she was the owner. I just knew she was someone who made me feel genuinely welcome in a moment when that meant more than she could possibly know. And let me tell you, the Fluff Bucket absolutely lived up to the hype. Smooth, creamy, perfectly sweet and sticky, blended with espresso, topped with fluff and mini marshmallows... it was like a dessert and a coffee had a beautiful, indulgent baby. Pure comfort in a cup. When I brought it back to the table, both of my daughters immediately said, "So you got one? You're going to love it." My younger daughter then told me that the woman I had been chatting with was actually the owner. That made the experience even more special. Her warmth, her kindness, and that simple human moment of being greeted with a smile on a difficult morning stayed with me as much as the drink itself. We ended up lingering longer than we planned. My granddaughter enjoyed a grilled cheese after her cookie, and I grabbed a bag of raspberry-filled shortbread cookies that instantly reminded me of hamantaschen around Purim. Everything felt thoughtful, comforting, and made with care. Daily Harvest Cafe was not just a place to grab coffee today. It was a place that helped turn a solemn morning into one with a few smiles, some sweetness, and a feeling of being looked after. I will absolutely be back, and I cannot recommend it enough. If you go, get the Fluff Bucket, and know that you are walking into a place run by someone who truly knows how to make people feel welcome.

One thing you have to try is their signature ketchup. It's super interesting--almost like a cross between American Ketchup and Asian Banana Ketchup.
