I visited the place given that its got rave reviews. Unfortunately, I was utterly disappointed. The place was only carryout, which is fine. The food, however, was disappointing. We had the chicken gangjeong half/half (hahaha flavor/ soy garlic). I have had a lot of korean fried chicken, and this ranks among the worst. The chicken didn't have the crisp you would expect from korean fried chicken. It was leaning towards the soggier side. What was even worse was that the soy garlic and the hahaha flavors did nothing for us. The flavors were bland and just straight up sweet. The soy garlic didn't have the punch of garlic or the umami and saltiness of the soy sauce. The hahaha flavor was simultaneously incomprehensible and unsatisfying. This is the best chicken I've had in the Boston area. This is chick fil a level quality with massive portion size for the price. I've tried a few of their side dishes and it was just fine, nothing amazing or bad. I wanted this to be my new Bon Chon. Sadly it was not. The chicken is more breading than chicken. Although nicely prepared it lacked any flavor other than that fried tempura taste you get from the breading. Spicy chicken sandwich was all tempura batter tasting, even though the cook is a bit more crispy. It's not double fried crispy like the Korean places but it's done pretty good. I think they put some spicy mayo on it. I don't even know. It was just bland. Give me a Wendy's spicy chicken instead. The soy garlic was like they squirted soy sauce on the cooked tenders. It's not a sauce or a glaze. It's just watery so it didn't stick. They all just taste fried. Fried isn't a good taste in this instance. Overall kind of disappointed with my experience. There's so much potential here. I feel like they could do great. Just didn't love my order. I recommend you try it but it's hard to say what to order. I guess I should have tried the bone in wings. Ok so we tried hahaha chicken in Woburn on a whim. it's was very hot inside and they has AC but it wasn't on ? The chicken is good. They charge extra for the sauces $2 each - but there are a bunch of options. We got a 20 piece -mostly drums ( not my fav) and brought it right home (less than 10 min drive ) and tbh they could be a bit more crunchy. The sauces are super yummy - we got soy garlic and hahaha which is a spicy sweet sauce -but I'll ask for them on the side next time I think. Def a must try. read more

I didn't have a great experience during my visit here which was unfortunate as I was looking forward to it and made my way all out over to downtown Woburn for it. The wait was definitely on the long side when there wasn't anyone ahead of me, I'm assuming most orders are mobile or call aheads and they don't really give priority for in-person orders which really is a shame. I waited maybe about 20-25 min for my order and while they're definitely freshly made I wasn't too impressed with it. The chicken is definitely on the plus side but I thought it lacked seasoning but I suppose that's why they charge sauce extra otherwise it tastes kinda bland. The chicken teriyaki had too much sauce and too little rice but it was a good idea to save it and I cooked extra noodles at home to make the perfect left over meal. Still, given the wait and price I really was let down of this establishment. It's most likely I won't be returning but if I do would definitely order ahead and sticking to the chicken only. read more

I love crispy fried chicken and tried the whole fried chicken. What a pleasure to have big pieces of crispy fried chicken that was juicy and tender. Southern fried chicken cookers eat your heart out. I don't need the sauces. It is good plain or if you like bbq sauce cut it with a little ketchup and use that as a sauce. My second favorite on their menu is the boneless chicken nuggets. Those are better with the sauces that they make. Good stuff when you crave fried crispy chicken. Oh and the fat that it is fried in is clean and has no other flavors in it. I went there and bought a chicken sandwich and took it home to eat. It was inedible. I had one bite and thought I must have bitten off the hard part of the cabbage stem. I took it out of my mouth and saw it wasn't cabbage. I didn't/couldn't believe it was the chicken meat, so I took another bite. Same experience. I disassembled the sandwich to be sure it was the chicken portion of the sandwich that was in my mouth. Yup. I tried to cut it with a knife and that was a fail. I threw it all into the trash. Been here several times for the soy n garlic fried chicken. The chicken tastes better than many other Korean restaurants in Boston.

It's maybe a 3.5, but closer to a 3 than a 4. The wings were solid, the boneless wings could have been better. Overall though, I wouldn't consider this to be Korean Fried Chicken. The KFC you get in NYC has a a crust on it that is crunchy like chips. These were just regular wings and regular nuggets basically. Nothing special, I wouldn't order it again, but the food tasted good. This rating is more about how good this place is relative to other Korean fried chicken places. read more

I have been here several times and have to say that it's changed. Their chicken has always been so crispy and flavorful and my order yesterday was a very different product. It was soggy and what was supposed to be chicken inside the breading did not taste or look like chicken. There was no sauce on the soy garlic but the HAHAHA were sauced well. I had some leftover and heated them in the air fryer as normal and they were still soggy and not crispy. I am very disappointed. Love their chicken! So crunchy and juicy, amazing flavor! Love the huge variety of sauces, gotta try them all and choose your favorite(s)! Mine are the Hahaha and Mango Habanero yum! Overall a good experience. Chicken: This was my second time trying K(orean)FC and it wasn't as good as the first. The texture of the whole fried chicken pieces was great (crispy outside, juicy inside) but flavor-wise, the plain flavor was relatively bland and benefitted from the sauces we had ordered on the side. I wouldn't mind coming back to try some chicken with sauces (rather than plain). Sauces: I tried the Hahaha Sauce, which was like a sweet chili sauce. It was actually quite good and a great complement after eating some spicy dukkbokki. Dukkbokki with ramen: Spicy and good. My mom said this was the better of the two dukkbokki that she's had, with more ingredients; it included fish cakes, scallion, and more. I liked it but the spiciness masked some of the flavor because I am weak. The location was the most unhomely restaurant I have ever been in. While it looked clean, the tables were pushed up against the walls and it looked like .. just empty... I also don't think there were bathrooms. I'll definitely stick with BonChon after trying Hahaha Chicken. Thought the prices were very high for but was willing to pay for the convenience of Korean Fried Chicken in the area. Paid $18 for 10 piece spicy wings and $19 for a 15 "boneless" chicken, fries and white rice. Ordered in store for takeout with a 5 minute ride home (restaurant has two 3-top tables). The spicy wings were very soggy and were more sweet than spicy. The "boneless chicken" was very weird. It consisted of 2-4 pieces of chopped chicken binded together and breaded. These were fresher and crispier then the wings but the consistency of the chicken was unappetizing. Order of fries (crinkle cut $4.50) were cold and soggy. White rice ($2.50) was actually cooked well and still moist. "My Brother's Place" sign is still hanging over the restaurant. No AC inside and after being inside for 15 minutes, I left smelling like fryer oil. read more

Found this place while driving through Woburn. I ordered their chicken sandwich, hahaha wings, soy garlic wings, dukkjokki and their soy garlic gang- jeong chicken. Their chicken sandwich was pretty good, the sauce on it was pretty good. The winner of the meal has to be their gang-jeong chicken. It was crunchy, crispy, flavored with garlic and is glazed in a sticky, sweet sauce. Man, I love this dish. Definitely would come back to explore the menu more. read more

This KFC is so good! I found it on yelp, tried it for the first time, and definitely will be going back. I ordered takeout 6pc chicken tenders, 7pc half chicken, chicken burger, and fries, with ketchup, hahaha sauce, and soy garlic sauce in the side. All of it came out to a bit over $30 and could feed 2.5 - 3 people. It took me 15mins ish to get back home but the chicken was still crispy! Perfect fry, perfect crunch, perfect cook. The chicken breast pieces were super juicy and the dark meat was amazing. The chicken tenders were really good; the batter had a bright flavor to it, maybe it was lemon pepper. I really like the soy garlic sauce. Not too salty and very garlicy. I also like the hahaha sauce, which tasted kind of like gochujang. I thought the chicken burger was ok. It comes with two patties, melted cheese, and grilled onions with a nice brioche bun. The execution was good, but its not my thing. I mistakenly ordered it thinking it was the fried chicken sandwich, but that's my fault. Can't believe I just found out about it today! The only thing I really wish is that they allowed indoor dining, but as of today (2/10/22), they do not. read more
