Fried chicken

Good price, chicken was crispy, flavorful. It was just sitting around to long. Seems like it wasn't very well run, guy taking my order was taking my change from a $20 out of a plastic bag under the counter & his pocket?

Nashville chicken sandwich hit the spot! Really liked the sauces on it. I also got their Mac and cheese. It was plain but good.

Ordered the food, came back in an hour or so and everything was ready, hot, & delicious! Would definitely recommend for small events or small catering needs. All the staff were very nice and accommodating, even helped me bring my order to my car. The food was delicious & well seasoned. Got lots of compliments from those who ate it.

This place is right in the Kendall Square area, an easy walk from all of the tech companies. 10 piece fried chicken - Chicken was decent sized and definitely not bulk ordered chicken. This was marinated and spiced in-house. It had good strong flavor, with a hint of ginger that stood out. I think it's ginger, at least. Enjoyable, not dry at all. I would get it again. Chicken cheese patties - they were dry and not that cheesy at all. This saddens me as the place prior to them opening served the best chicken cheese patties in the area. Chicharron - Kind of over cooked and dry. The skin is definitely crispy - almost to a fault as most were too hard to enjoyably bite into. The dryness was the worse. Plaintains were okay, tasted more like potatoes but I think thats how they are supposed to taste anyways. Service was good. Checkout was easy with tap-to-pay. The place looks clean and had 2 or 3 small tables inside.

It was my…read morefirst time trying the famous Nashville Fried Chicken, and although I'm not usually a big fan of fried chicken, it was truly delicious! Nashville Hot Fried Chicken Sandwich: I chose mild spicy, which was just right for me. The chicken was made to order, a size larger than the bun, and very thick; the crust was thin and crispy without being dry or hard, cracking open with a gentle bite, and the chili powder added a kick to remove its greasiness. The chicken itself was surprisingly tender and juicy, retaining its original flavor. It definitely deserved the title of "Best Fried Chicken"! The coleslaw, usually served as a side dish, was simply placed on top of the fried chicken, with classic mayonnaise and vinaigrette dressing--a sweet and sour flavor, more on the sweet side, was both refreshing and delightful. However, it was obvious that assembling such a burger was difficult, resulting in a blissful mess by the end... Old Bay Waffle Fries: My first time trying fried potatoes shaped like waffles. Personally, I thought the middle was okay, but the edges were a bit dry and hard, and it felt greasy without ketchup. There was only one guy in the restaurant, who served as both the chef and the server, and he probably spent most of his time preparing food in the kitchen, so you have to do some self-service.

Yummy yummy chicken! Yes, please!…read more I was craving juicy chicken so decided to stop by for dinner with my boyfriend. We have been wanting to try this place for a while so we were excited to check it out. The restaurant is nice with plenty of seating for big and small groups. You order at the counter and they bring your food to you at your table. We decided to share 1/2 a chicken with a small side of beans and large side of french fries. If you order a side you get a free side salad so that was a nice surprise. We also wanted to try their chicha morada which is a typical Peruvian style drink. The drink was nice and sugary and tasted like hibiscus ice tea. When the chicken came out it smelled really good! Everything was nice and hot and we couldn't wait to dig in! I am a french frie lover and I think these were the best fries I have ever had in Boston!! They were thick, crispy, and perfectly salted and I couldn't get enough of them! The pinto beans were also very good and tasted authentic! It reminded me of my mom's cooking which is a compliment. The chicken was the star of the show. It was very juicy and tender and very well seasoned. The meat litterly melted off the bone and I was quickly devouring it. I think 1/2 a chicken to share was enough for the both of us since we had a huge pile of french fries to finish. We really enjoyed our meal and will definitely be back for some good chicken!

The box combos are where the value really shines. You get a great deal on a satisfying meal where everything works together. The chicken is always reliably good, and that signature sauce, a creamy, tangy, slightly peppery blend is what ties it all together. It's delicious for dipping not just the chicken, but also the fries and that excellent, soft Texas toast. The fries themselves hit that sweet spot of being crispy without being greasy. A word to the wise: the lines can get seriously long, as it's a hugely popular spot. The absolute best move is to order ahead through their app to skip the wait, which makes grabbing a quick and easy meal a total breeze. Overall, it's a consistently good, decently-priced meal for when a fried chicken craving strikes. Just a heads-up that all that fried goodness, while tasty, can sometimes feel a bit heavy on the stomach, but for most it's a small price to pay for that specific comfort food fix.

Have to love the historical buildings that have been in operation for so long in the New England region. They had a great variety available and we all were able to enjoy two drinks before they closed. My wife enjoyed two blood orange margaritas and I had a grey tea old fashioned and a take on an espresso martini that featured an addition of Guinness in it. All of the cocktails were well made with friendly service from the bartender. Due to stopping in for late night drinks I cannot speak to the food. It felt like history the moment we walked in: cozy, warmly lit, with worn wood that's clearly seen centuries. Our server, Cookie, was a gem- he was pleasant and attentive without hovering. Food-wise, it was mostly a miss. The oysters (which we found out were from NY ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ ) were puny. My kid's clam chowder- that's made without bacon was too thick and floury. The fried calamari, though, had a standout tangy, spicy glaze that we loved- but the coating was on the thick side. The vibe is nice as was the service- just wished the food was better.
