Solid middle of the row, pizza joint. The pizza wasn't bad; they do a well-done style pizza with dark brown bubbly cheese. Very generous on the cheese. The fries are a standard battered fry which IMHO could have been cooked a little more. I would avoid the seafood though. I can only speak for the fish sandwich, but the best thing on it was the lettuce and tomato which were fresh. The fish itself was a frozen, extremely thickly battered patty. While I appreciate that, they cut it and have to make sure it was cooked, it made the fish unable to stay inside the sandwich since it was somewhat like a brick. My family and I have been going here ever since I can remember and we love it. No other pizza has ever been as good. The owners remember us and ask how we are and where "so and so" is if we happen to be missing a family member that visit. It can get crowded and loud inside during peak hours but hey, that's the sign of a place that serves good food right? We have a pizza place on our street corner but drive 20 minutes here just about EVERY time we get pizza instead. We get so sad when the place closes for a week here and there for vacation and we have to go elsewhere for pizza. Prices are fair, serving sizes are good, employees are super friendly and pizza is always hot and delicious, hope it stays that way for years to come! I was born and raised in Rhode Island. My boyfriend and I flew into town from Las Vegas to visit family. We used to come here religiously twice a week when we lived in West Warwick. We came in to find the place all remodeled and still the same family who owns the place. Wednesday, August 31st at 2:51 PM we were dying for a calzone from here. We ordered fries to start and two fountain sodas. Food was just as I remember, you can taste the quality in the dough. They're ingredients are fresh. The price here is reasonable compared to lots of other places in the area, none quite like this. Level of service here excellent for being family owned. You have to be patient when it's packed though... Try their pizza it's delicious. We ordered a pepperoni calzone with no sauce. It's our favorite item in the menu. read more

We've heard about this place here and there, and since it's right around the corner from our house, we noticed the recent remodel and the new logo on the sign. Tonight we wanted to get some kind of takeout for the family, but we didn't want to do the typical Chinese and couldn't figure out what it was we wanted. So why not pizza? We looked at their website and decided to try two specialty pizzas (a taco pizza and a white pizza) so we'd have leftovers for lunch tomorrow. Everything was SO DELICIOUS. The crust is fluffy on the inside and crisp on the outside (but not hard). Both pizzas were rich and flavor, and the chef didn't skimp on the toppings. The taco pizza also gets bonus points for presentation, with the attractive drizzling of the sour cream on top. Little John's pizza is a Warwick institution. I can remember eating little John's as a kid. I'm in my 40's now and my kids love their pizza just as much as I did and still do. Little Johns is a local townie type place. The menu is pretty basic - pizza and grinders with the usual sides like wings and fries - but the prices are reasonable and the staff is very friendly. The pizza is pretty good but be ready for a load of cheese and grease - perfect for a junky night! The crust is kind of thick and buttery...very good flavor. I love this pizza! We've been getting pizza here for a few months - a neighbor recommended the place - and we haven't been disappointed. The pizza is delicious - the crust is on the thin side and crunchy, the sauce is just right and there is always a lot of cheese (my favorite part).
