It's a blink and you'll miss it bakery, so let me explain exactly where it's located. It's across the street from Fogo de Chao, and near the old Tokyo Chick. It's a small storefront so don't drive too quickly! Now that's out of the way, I went early on a Thursday morning so it was right when they opened and before the rush began. They have a ton of pastries and cookies to choose from. I went with the cinnamon roll because I heard so many good things about it. First, it's deceivingly big. Is deceivingly a word? Well, it is now. Anyway, it's not too sweet so those who don't really have a sweet tooth will enjoy this. And it's fresh!! The staff was super sweet and patient with me as I couldn't decide what I wanted (I mean, check out the photos). I highly recommend and I will be back!

What a cute little bakery! We tried their carrot loaf and it was so thick but moist, definitely not too sweet which I love. Parking is just street parking in front but honestly we got very lucky and didn't have to search for too long. You can see a display case with their food items when you walk in and place an order at the front our loaf came out so quickly and it was very good. Next time we're down in Southern California we'll stop by to try their other foods! Congrats on the new bakery!

I came on a Saturday afternoon around 3 pm, there is metered parking on the streets. Bakery was easy to spot, there was a small line out the door. Since I came later in the day they were sold out of several items like the banana pudding and carrot cake. I tried the cornmeal cookies it was delicious, soft and sweet. The s'mores brownie was rich and delicious really enjoyed that one. If I'm in the area I'd pop in again.

S'mores (yummy), matcha, peanut butter cookies!

The cinnamon roll latte was such a win. I asked for it to not be too sweet and they nailed it. I love cinnamon in coffee, and I got it with almond milk -- so good. The classic cinnamon roll was solid too. I also tried a few of the cookies. The matcha cookie was just okay since it didn't really have much matcha flavor, but the peanut butter cookie was good and the s'mores cookie was definitely my favorite of the three. Their cookies are thin, but pretty big -- about the size of a CD, which is exactly how my daughter described them My favorite item was the tiramisu loaf. The cream topping was delicious and the chocolate cake was super moist. I'd absolutely come back for that and the cinnamon roll latte next time I'm in the area.

I've been eyeing this place since seeing the matcha cinnamon roll and finally woke up early enough to try it this weekend. It's a small storefront with limited seating and tables inside. Parking is street parking and wasn't super difficult on a Saturday morning. The line wasn't terribly long around 11am and moved pretty quickly although the cashier definitely didn't seem like she wanted to be there. I ordered the matcha cinnamon roll that I was so excited to try but was disappointed by the flavor. The texture was very good though but I don't think I would get it again. I also got the cornbread cookie and double chocolate cookie which were pretty soft and thin. Their new pound cake was extremely sweet and dry so I would not recommend it. The star of the show that surprised me was the classic brownie. I would definitely recommend this one since the chocolate wasn't overly sweet and the texture was perfect.

Randomly decided to give it another try after leaving my initial attempt a couple months ago because the wait was too long and I was in and out within 15 mins this time around! Parking is a little bit of a hassle since it's either street parking or shared parking with the postal office and the businesses/plaza across the street. Upon walking into the door, I was greeted by everyone and service was very friendly. Despite having multiple customers ahead of me, it went by quick. I love the aesthetic of the interior and minimalistic of the decor. Everything is laid out on the display and looked amazing! I got the banana bread, oatmeal raisin cookie and double matcha with oatmilk. The banana bread was very moist and the oatmeal raisin was very soft and chewy. The double matcha was very refreshing but creamy!

This was like a 3.5 but I'll give it 4. We ordered a bunch of cookies, 3 cinnamon rolls, a brownie, and a couple of drinks back around the time Badash first opened. At the time, it took about an hour to get it but I haven't really seen lines driving past so hopefully there's no wait now. My favorites were the two cinnamon rolls and the only thing I would return for. They're soft and chewy, perfect for me, and I particularly loved the matcha one. While the cookies weren't bad, they honestly didn't taste like a lot. Every cookie aside from the s'more and chocolate chip tasted roughly like a sugar cookie with some light flavoring. The matcha had no matcha flavor at all, or rather, I think it's hard for the matcha to be more pronounced than the butter and sugar. The coffee was a definite miss, kind of watery with a lot of milk. I honestly don't remember anything about the brownie. Service was friendly and pretty quick.

I'm so glad I don't live too close to this bakery, because it would be a problem. The cookies here are so incredibly delicious. Not overly sweet. They are buttery and soft and easy to scarf down so watch out. They kind of remind me of Mrs. Fields cookies, but thinner. Aesthetically, this bakery/café is 10 out of 10. You will get your picture. The service is decent. There are a couple of spots to sit at inside as well as a table or two out front. But most people just grab and go. Cornbread Cookie 100/10- my favorite. Everything I imagined a cornbread cookie would be. I could eat a dozen of them. Snickerdoodle 100/10 Divinity Peanut Butter Cookie 100/10 insane! Love the crunchy sugar crumble on top White chip Macadamia 100/10 Strawberry Matcha 9/10

Came to try the cinnamon rolls and they were delicious! Not overly sweet like the cinnamon bun chain but you can taste the freshness of them being baked that day ‍. I always love seeing what limited time item they have baking in the menu each month. The inside is a little small so it can get crowded during the peak hours/days but still worth visiting!

I needed a consolation sweet treat after the Metro A line wronged me and BadAshBakes is where I sought solace! The matcha cinnamon roll they are so famous for is a true pillowy swirl of cinnamon sugar that even cinnamon roll haters (me) will enjoy, although it did not taste of matcha at all. The interior is very cute and seems like a great place to catch up with friends! They do serve cinnamon rolls after noon still.

Wonderful atmosphere at this little boutique bakery. I have followed the owner on social media for a while and was excited to finally visit her bakery. Service was amazing and the baked goods were a treat. Dreams do come true . Please visit if you are in the Pasadena area. You will be pleased.

Had the opportunity to try Badash Bakes while visiting LA and let me say it did not disappoint! I got the chocolate cinnamon roll and my son the traditional. I also got the Tiramisu hot chocolate and the s'mores cookie and all were rich, decadent, incredibly yummy and satisfying! She is using the highest quality ingredients and you can taste it! Also cool is that you can see Bad Ash baking and the atmosphere and ambience scream this is not your average bakery!! Service was outstanding despite the short wait in line. This place is not to be missed if you're anywhere near LA.

Staff allowed to sample their unique flavor options. **To note, they offer a few vegan flavors for those with dietary restrictions**. Always a huge plus and positive! The flavors are middle eastern inspired and the details are all listed. My wife and I sampled 2 flavors and we both enjoyed our selections. The flavors are memorable. We happily decided on the Sesame Halve (vegan) & Pistachio Konafa with Chocolate Shell (+$1.00) for myself. The presentation is one of a kind! Patio seats are also offered outside. Also, OG Pac-Man arcades are available inside. My wife loved her Sesame Halva and my Pistachio Konafa with Chocolate Shell totally reminded me of a Dubai Chocolate type of vibe with each bite! It's been a few days since then and we can't stop thinking about coming back. They serve unique Middle-Eastern flavored ice cream. I ordered the Sesame Halva which is their vegan ice cream made of Halva ice cream with sesame & coconut. OMG, I've never tasted anything like this before. I love anything that has a sesame profile. If you like that nutty, sweet, and earthy flavor this one is for you. I could taste the coconut, but it wasn't overpowering. There were also little chunks of halva in there that added a slight bit of sweetness. The texture was similar to cookie dough, but softer. Aside from the taste, I loved the simple presentation of the small rose on top of the scoop. It made it look elegant. As you can tell, I am definitely coming back and highly recommend stopping by.

We had to circle the area a few times to find street parking. It would be nice if they had a designated parking lot in addition to street parking because some of the businesses around there had that. There was seating inside despite the store being pretty small, so my bf and I just ate inside. The cakes were pretty good! I got the Matcha Yuzu and he got the Kinako Chestnut. I couldn't really taste the yuzu until I tried only the first layer of cream. The matcha overpowers the yuzu a lot because there was two layers of matcha cream and one layer of matcha cake. Still really good and can taste that the matcha is high quality! As for the kinako chestnut, we couldn't taste the chestnut much but there were some chestnut pieces hidden in the cake! Most of the cakes cost $9+ and the sandwiches were $10+! Got the Egg Heaven Sandwich ($13) and it was pretty much an egg salad sandwich. The bread didn't taste fresh and was quite dry. I was expecting the bread to be soft and fluffy but that wasn't the texture at all. The egg salad was quite heavy on mayonnaise and had too much pepper for my preference. Overall, I wasn't impressed with the sandwich unfortunately. The Sunny Side Up (Coconut Mango Mousse Cake) - $9.50 - was delicious! Love how it was nicely packaged in a cute tin!
