If you're looking for a Thai tea parfait, this is your place. It's the perfect spot to get your Thai tea fix! It's easy to miss on the street, so look out for it.

Cute little spot located on Green Street. Came here with my dog and tried a 24oz Thai Milk Tea with Boba. I loved that it wasn't overly sweet like most Thai teas, just the right balance of creamy and flavorful. Very refreshing and delicious! I was tempted to try their Thai Tea soft serve, but I decided to save that for next time since I just came for a drink to quench my thirst lol. The staff were super friendly. My dog loved it here. He also got a Milk Bone treat while he was here. There's plenty of street parking available, but it's easiest to find a spot at night or early in the morning. FYI, they do have a reward punch card.

It is rare these days to come across a new dessert shop that feels both fresh yet familiar but L'Moon does it by combining all the things most dessert lovers love: honey boba, trendy teas (thai, matcha, hojicha, etc), soft serve swirls, brûlée toppings, and warm chunky cookies! The service is fast and friendly, there is a small bench area for seating, but the desserts are such that it's fine to enjoy on-the-go! They have loyalty cards (that you can actually combine) and you can get one free topping if you check in on Yelp. Run, don't walk!

Over the moon with their soft serve ice creams. L'moon is such a cute and unique concept of ice creams & drinks. Their most popular is the Thai milk tea soft serve. You can get it with boba and even mix it with their thai tea drink. So tempting, but their Strawberry Sundae spoke to me more. Their servings are very generous, just the way I like it! My Strawberry sundae was good, not spectacular but still very enjoyable. Maybe more strawberry taste would have made it out of this world, but their soft serves are delicious. Overall, would return, especially to try their Thai tea signature flavor next time. The sky is not limit when it comes to L'moon Creamery.

Awesome customer service here! The Thai tea soft serve is delicious and I love that the boba is warm and chewy. The cookies can also be heated. This is more of a grab and go. There is a bench inside and outside--but that's it. You may also have to find parking.

yummy Thai tea ice cream! i stopped by L'moon creamy couple weeks ago right after work because i was craving some ice cream & this place really hit the spot. i truly love Thai tea and having it in ice cream form was so heaven! i love that you have the option to have it w/ boba. it just makes it soo good! i got myself a large soft serve thai tea w/ boba! the soft service is so creamy (literally says it in their name) & i feel like the boba adds such a treat to it.

The Thai soft serve here is so good! Portions run large so would recommend sharing with a friend. We came here for post-dinner dessert as it was the only dessert spot nearby still open at 10:15 pm on a Saturday night. It's a small shop with very limited seating. I think most people pick up their ice cream and eat while walking around. It was late, so I was planning to get the small size, but there's only $1 difference between small and medium so I upgraded to the medium. I got the vanilla + Thai tea swirl with coconut jelly ($7.45 + $.075 for coconut jelly). The vanilla was okay, but the star of the show was definitely the Thai tea soft serve, which tasted exactly like the drink without being too sweet. The soft serve itself was very creamy and smooth. The portion was very generous and I had a hard time finishing, even sharing with a friend. In hindsight, I probably should've stuck to the small... I was afraid I would have trouble sleeping at night due to caffeine in the Thai tea, but luckily that wasn't an issue at all.

Dessert: I ordered the Large Thai Tea Trophy. It reminded me of one of my favorite Nana's green tea desserts, but in Thai tea form. The Thai tea soft serve was smooth, rich, and creamy without being overly sweet. The best part of this dessert was the layers. Each one was a fun surprise. It included boba, jelly, cornflakes, and grass jelly, all stacked in different layers. I definitely recommend this dessert! Service: Good. Ambiance: The shop has a cute and inviting vibe with a playful, creative feel.

Such decadent deserts! And such large portions- definitely recommend sharing. Cute little spot in Pasadena with friendly service.

Chocolate chip walnut cookie and hojicha
    Aileen H.

I got the hojicha tea and even at 25% sweet, I still found it to be too sweet. The exterior is super cute. The is a bench inside for seating. Seating is limited; only one bench that can seat about 4 adults without touching each other. I got the walnut chocolate chip cookie. It's more like a scone than a cookie. It's quite substantial and quite sweet as well. Service was excellent! Th first time I had matcha was 20 years ago in Japan. The bitterness from the matcha tea paired with the sweetness from the red bean cake was perfect. That was my first experience with matcha and it went deep into my memory bank. In the states, most of matcha and/or hojicha is diluted and mixed with a syrup. To me, it takes away the original flavor of the tea and defeats the purpose of drinking it.

Such a cute and yummy tasting little place! I ate dinner in Pasadena with a friend, and I really wanted a Thai tea (my go-to drink next to matcha) for the drive back home, and this was one of the nearest places that was still open on a Sunday night, so I decided to give it a try. L' moon Cremery looks remarkable in terms or lightening and decor upon walking in. There's only a small seating area, so it can get crowded--and it did--but that's how you know people love it! Being greeted with a genuine smile nowadays is a plus, and it was nice getting that from the lady working at the register. I ordered a Thai tea with almond milk, half sweet. Then I took a look at the heart-shaped cookies on the right... and YUP! I I added an oatmeal one because I don't always eat dessert, and it was totally worth it. The Thai tea? Better than what I imagined, too. I'm actually excited to stop by again for some soft serve ice-cream next time.

Best Thai tea ice cream or soft serve I've ever had and I've now officially gone all the way to Thailand to try a bunch and this place still has the best ice cream. I lowkey crave this once a month (iykyk) and it genuinely cures something for me. Thankfully, they have a punch card and the Thai tea float option is elite since you get the most delicious boba, great Thai tea, and the best Thai tea soft serve!

    Tim S.

I took my wife here for a sweet treat after dinner on her birthday, and she hasn't stopped talking about this place ever since whenever she's craving dessert. The Thai Tower is absolutely delicious. We had no idea it came with corn flakes in the middle, it was such an amazing and delicious combination. Definitely grab a stamp card because you'll absolutely be coming back!

I ordered the Sesame Halva which is their vegan ice cream made of Halva ice cream with sesame & coconut. OMG, I've never tasted anything like this before. I love anything that has a sesame profile. If you like that nutty, sweet, and earthy flavor this one is for you. I could taste the coconut, but it wasn't overpowering. There were also little chunks of halva in there that added a slight bit of sweetness. The texture was similar to cookie dough, but softer. Aside from the taste, I loved the simple presentation of the small rose on top of the scoop. It made it look elegant. As you can tell, I am definitely coming back and highly recommend stopping by.

The Bronte Sisters. The Jacksons... You win free ice cream on me if you recognize the pattern. Yes, that's right: these are all siblings who have seamlessly worked together in their respective fields. I raise the list to include Mia and Mark Pedersen - the brother and sister team behind the ice creamery Moo Moo Mia with locations in both Montrose and Monrovia. You won't find Mia and Mark bickering or partaking in sibling rivalry; but you WILL find them creating quality, home made ice cream for Angelinos. Mark and Mia made their way from Denmark to Los Angeles in 2009 initially working in a Danish franchise despite both having a background in ice cream-making. When Covid hit in 2020 with its path of destruction to so many businesses; Mark and Mia decided they should cut their losses and create their own company that they can rely on their decision-making and thus Moo Moo Mia was born. Moo Moo Mia strives to produce Grade-A ice cream using crème de la crème ingredients such as milk from Scott Brother Dairy cows (another sibling company where cows roam free on 900 acres and are hormone free producing sensational milk) and offer unique flavor combinations. After a recent poor gelato experience at another LA business; my boyfriend and I decided to reward ourselves with ice cream from Moo Moo Mia on Honolulu in Montrose (this was our second time at this location). Nestled in the charming central Montrose corridor; Moo Moo Mia welcomes with a pastel color wheel façade/signage and a small square footage ice cream shop. When I say 'small'; I genuinely mean small as Moo Moo Mia is tiny with a display case/order counter and a claustrophobic standing room space with a few loose tables outside. This is definitely an "order and get out" establishment. Due to this congestion, Moo Moo Mia felt a bit hectic on both of our visits which always makes one feel guilty to ask for samples in order to not hold up the line. The flavor options at Moo Moo Mia aren't super extensive (there isn't that much to choose from) BUT there do have those unique combinations Mia and Mark boast of with pride. I have sampled a few flavors at Moo Moo Mia such as Honey Lavender (Sweet cream ice cream layered with delicate ribbons of lavender and finished with a touch of raw organic honey - so good with perfect lavender notes!), March flavor of ice cream with Luck Charms marshmallows and Sweet Taro. On our second visit, my boyfriend kept it simple with a single cone ($5.50) of Madagascar Vanilla Bean (Made with imported ground Madagascar vanilla beans) and a kid's cup ($4.25) of March's monthly flavor Coconut Ube for me. Mark and Mia aren't exaggerating about Moo Moo Mia's ice cream as it truly is quite good: creamy, thick and not overly sweet; the texture is perfection. The Honey Lavender holds my heart but the Coconut Ube was also delicious although it tasted of 95% ube with a small 5% after taste of coconut water. Good thing I like Ube! My boyfriend's vanilla was, in his words, "The best vanilla!" and I agree that Moo Moo Mia truly elevates a basic flavor making it extra special. The consensus is that the ice cream is wonderful, no doubt. The customer service at Moo Moo Mia leaves a lot to be desired, however. During both visits the associates were very dry, somewhat curt - although not rude, per se - and are literally only there to get the job done and that's it. Even though this isn't too terrible; it prevents Moo Moo Mia from being a perfect experience. Moo Moo Mia is a delicious and quality option for an ice cream treat that you can truly taste but the lack of numerous flavor options, the teen-tiny shop and the customer service are flaws that keep it from being exceptional. Despite this, Moo Moo Mia is recommended for all ice cream lovers - whether you have a sibling or not!

All the flavors were very good except for the Cinnamon which I thought was very light in taste. Since I was driving, I chose an ice cream shake instead of a cup or cone. Caramel Macchiato was my pick! It had a really nice caramel flavor with coffee bean bits. I was slightly disappointed that they didn't pile up the ice cream to the top of the lid. It stopped at the top of the cup. I felt I was shorted some ice cream unfortunately. Hence, 4 stars! Nevertheless, Nick was amazing. His service was fantastic. Wonderful conversation and experience. The vibes were incredible and I love sitting outside, especially it was more of a chilly morning, and they made sure to turn on the heaters above the outdoor seating which was incredibly thoughtful so customers that we're all sitting and eating we're enjoying a nice breezy cool day along with warmth. What I really appreciated was that it wasn't overly oily or salty, which made it even more enjoyable. It was light, fresh, and super satisfying. My mom loved it just as much as I did!! Will be coming back!

Amara Chocolate & Coffee is almost always full when I walk inside, thank God they have an outdoor…read moredining area as well. This shop has EARNED its popularity and the loyalty of their customers. You can tell the staff has a genuine love for the menu. If you ask anyone at the counter about their favorites, they'll give you the rundown of what's popular and what they personally love. And I really appreciate that very human, individualized touch when discovering a gem adored by Pasadena locals. The ambiance is giving... small, simplistic, unassuming shop. To people just passing by, it's not going to look like much - but it's the energy & aroma of their food that pulls AND keeps you in. I recommend the Pork-Pernil w/Mano Cheese AND the Chicken Avocado Arepas. You really can't stop with just one order of arepas. It's been awhile since my last visit, but I remember loving the guava lemonade - good size & incredibly refreshing! Can't wait to explore more of the menu the next time I'm around.
