Was in the area after lunch with friends and decided to walk around after a big lunch. My friend suggested this place since it had decent reviews. But we were highly disappointed with the drinks we got. Most of my friends ordered the hojicha latte and it was NOT GOOD. I'm a big fan of hojicha and it's always a hit or miss as some places can't do it well. And this place definitely doesn't taste good at all. I'm usually not that harsh and the the employee said this was her favorite but it tasted like DIRT. I added lychee jelly so it was bearable and I was able to not waste my money but my friends who ordered it also could not finish and had to throw it away. Hojicha has a roasty nutty flavor and is hard to do right because it can taste burnt or doesn't have that nutty flavor and be bland. I admit that I am be picky about my hojicha but this place literally tasted like dirt charcoal. The color was also black and not the warm brown color it usually is. My wife and I were going to a comedy show at The Ice House but we needed a little sweet treat before hand, so Yelp guided us to L'moon Creamery down the street. This small and neat little Ice Cream shop is a little different then the usual offering some special soft serve with some toppings and things to mix inside. Now, I originally came here because my wife likes shops like this, but after ordering what can best be described as a big cup of vanilla ice cream with frosted flakes and chocolate mixed in, I'M SOLD! One thing I will say is that the vanilla ice cream reminds me of going to Carvel as a kid and that's a hill I will proudly die on. The Thai soft serve here is so good! Portions run large so would recommend sharing with a friend. We came here for post-dinner dessert as it was the only dessert spot nearby still open at 10:15 pm on a Saturday night. It's a small shop with very limited seating. I think most people pick up their ice cream and eat while walking around. It was late, so I was planning to get the small size, but there's only $1 difference between small and medium so I upgraded to the medium. I got the vanilla + Thai tea swirl with coconut jelly ($7.45 + $.075 for coconut jelly). The vanilla was okay, but the star of the show was definitely the Thai tea soft serve, which tasted exactly like the drink without being too sweet. The soft serve itself was very creamy and smooth. The portion was very generous and I had a hard time finishing, even sharing with a friend. In hindsight, I probably should've stuck to the small... I got the hojicha tea and even at 25% sweet, I still found it to be too sweet. The exterior is super cute. The is a bench inside for seating. Seating is limited; only one bench that can seat about 4 adults without touching each other. I got the walnut chocolate chip cookie. It's more like a scone than a cookie. It's quite substantial and quite sweet as well. Service was excellent! Th first time I had matcha was 20 years ago in Japan. The bitterness from the matcha tea paired with the sweetness from the red bean cake was perfect. That was my first experience with matcha and it went deep into my memory bank. In the states, most of matcha and/or hojicha is diluted and mixed with a syrup. To me, it takes away the original flavor of the tea and defeats the purpose of drinking it. read more

Omg everything tasted great together...i love the crunch from the corn flakes with the soft chewy boba (that was still warm)! The soft serve just melts in your mouth with the creaminess and great texture. Amazing thai tea flavor with the right amount of creaminess. I also tried the green jasmine tea with jelly and it had great tea flavor. I dont like it too sweet and they were able to adjust the sweetness level. This shop is very aesthetically pleasing and cute, my friend and I loved visiting here. You can tell straight away that their niche is Thai tea - the wall is orange, all the pictures of the desserts have that signature orange look, and there was even merchandise for the place. The shop itself is quite small, but there was no one there when we went, so we were able to easily place our order for one Thai tea with boba and a Thai tea soft serve. The Thai tea here is very strong, you can taste it both in the tea and the soft serve. There was a little bench where we were able to share our desserts. I only knew about L'Moon Creamery because it is next door to Sichuan Street Food. I came here after work. I initially parked at the small parking lot next to it. I found out that small parking lot belongs to the neighboring businesses. L'Moon actually doesn't have their own parking. You will need to park on the street. Please read the signs. It's a very small creamery shop. Very limited inside bench seating. I was only interested in one item and that was their most popular Thai Tea soft serve. I love Thai Iced Tea so what better way to experience it as an ice cream. I got it with corn flakes which was a first time for me. Soft serve was so smooth and creamy. Quite delightful! It was better than the drink itself. And surprisingly, cornflakes worked very well with it. I have a new found soft serve friend.
