My wife and I were going to a comedy show at The Ice House but we needed a little sweet treat before hand, so Yelp guided us to L'moon Creamery down the street. This small and neat little Ice Cream shop is a little different then the usual offering some special soft serve with some toppings and things to mix inside. Now, I originally came here because my wife likes shops like this, but after ordering what can best be described as a big cup of vanilla ice cream with frosted flakes and chocolate mixed in, I'M SOLD! One thing I will say is that the vanilla ice cream reminds me of going to Carvel as a kid and that's a hill I will proudly die on. Overall, L'moon Creamery definitely has it's own vibe compared to many of the other Pasadena ice cream shops. I'm not in Pasadena too much, but if I ever have a hankering for some delicious soft serve, I know where I'll be heading! Oh yeah, I also had boba thrown in mine, how did I forget that detail?
Amazing Thai tea soft with honey boba Definitely my first time trying this and oh man it's so good very popular drinks as well the time I was in here it's been like 6 people ordering the tea . Great customer service , very positive area , great energy to sit and have your boba . Well recommended nice and clean very bright inside with lights . Great designs or art work .
I loved the ice cream!!! The staff were nice. The place is small and has limited indoor and outdoor seating. There is street parking. There's a lot right next to it, but I don't know if you can park there. The Thai ice cream was really good!! One of the best I've had. The boba was super soft and tasty. I went back again, and the larger size was around $9. Unfortunately, the milk tea was one of the worst I've had. My friend and I did NOT like it. It was extremely bitter and didn't taste good. I ended up not finishing it. Definitely wouldn't get this again.
Cute little spot located on Green Street. Came here with my dog and tried a 24oz Thai Milk Tea with Boba. I loved that it wasn't overly sweet like most Thai teas, just the right balance of creamy and flavorful. Very refreshing and delicious! I was tempted to try their Thai Tea soft serve, but I decided to save that for next time since I just came for a drink to quench my thirst lol. The staff were super friendly. My dog loved it here. He also got a Milk Bone treat while he was here. There's plenty of street parking available, but it's easiest to find a spot at night or early in the morning. FYI, they do have a reward punch card.

My Strawberry sundae was good, not spectacular but still very enjoyable. Maybe more strawberry taste would have made it out of this world, but their soft serves are delicious. Overall, would return, especially to try their Thai tea signature flavor next time. The sky is not limit when it comes to L'moon Creamery.

It was late, so I was planning to get the small size, but there's only $1 difference between small and medium so I upgraded to the medium. I got the vanilla + Thai tea swirl with coconut jelly ($7.45 + $.075 for coconut jelly). The vanilla was okay, but the star of the show was definitely the Thai tea soft serve, which tasted exactly like the drink without being too sweet. The soft serve itself was very creamy and smooth. The portion was very generous and I had a hard time finishing, even sharing with a friend. In hindsight, I probably should've stuck to the small... I was afraid I would have trouble sleeping at night due to caffeine in the Thai tea, but luckily that wasn't an issue at all.

I am so glad I found this spot between clients since it got me through the rest of my day. I ordered the thai tea trophy which had coconut cubes, bona, and corn flakes. The mixtures of textures with the thai tea soft serve went perfectly together. I would definitely get it again. The service was friendly and efficient. The shop was clean and there were areas to sit. Parking can be crazy depending on the time you go since it is on green. read more

Ordered the thai tea soft serve 16oz with no toppings. The portion is HUGE for 2 people. Should have gone with the small. Nothing special, soft serve just tastes like frozen thai tea. It wasn't creamier or anything. It was a hot day out and it was melting quickly. As I ate to the center, it became icier? The outside was creamier than the inside. Unsure why that is. Otherwise, it tastes as expected. I think I paid $7.25 or so which isn't too bad nowadays. Parking does suck, it's at a weird location on green street. I parked on the street and walked over. Not a lot of seating area to enjoy on site. read more

Awesome customer service here! The Thai tea soft serve is delicious and I love that the boba is warm and chewy. The cookies can also be heated. This is more of a grab and go. There is a bench inside and outside--but that's it. You may also have to find parking. read more

Dessert: I ordered the Large Thai Tea Trophy. It reminded me of one of my favorite Nana's green tea desserts, but in Thai tea form. The Thai tea soft serve was smooth, rich, and creamy without being overly sweet. The best part of this dessert was the layers. Each one was a fun surprise. It included boba, jelly, cornflakes, and grass jelly, all stacked in different layers. I definitely recommend this dessert! Service: Good. Ambiance: The shop has a cute and inviting vibe with a playful, creative feel. read more
I got the hojicha tea and even at 25% sweet, I still found it to be too sweet. The exterior is super cute. The is a bench inside for seating. Seating is limited; only one bench that can seat about 4 adults without touching each other. I got the walnut chocolate chip cookie. It's more like a scone than a cookie. It's quite substantial and quite sweet as well. Service was excellent! Th first time I had matcha was 20 years ago in Japan. The bitterness from the matcha tea paired with the sweetness from the red bean cake was perfect. That was my first experience with matcha and it went deep into my memory bank. In the states, most of matcha and/or hojicha is diluted and mixed with a syrup. To me, it takes away the original flavor of the tea and defeats the purpose of drinking it. read more

yummy Thai tea ice cream! i stopped by L'moon creamy couple weeks ago right after work because i was craving some ice cream & this place really hit the spot. i truly love Thai tea and having it in ice cream form was so heaven! i love that you have the option to have it w/ boba. it just makes it soo good! i got myself a large soft serve thai tea w/ boba! the soft service is so creamy (literally says it in their name) & i feel like the boba adds such a treat to it. read more
My wife and I tried the Thai tea soft serve, vanilla soft serve, a chocolate walnut cookie, and a raisin cookie. Everything was very delicious. The soft serves were creamy, flavorful, and not overly sweet. The biggest surprise was the cookies did not expect them to be super soft, and warm. They also offer to heat them up, which makes them even better. Service was fast, friendly, and efficient. The two young ladies have it down, everything moved smoothly and were welcoming from the moment we walked in. The shop has a bright, warm, and inviting atmosphere. The orange accent wall, holiday decorations, and bunny neon sign give the space a clean and energetic feel. Definitely a hidden gem on Green Street. The only downside is that parking in the area can be tough, but the stop is absolutely worth it. read more

I lowkey crave this once a month (iykyk) and it genuinely cures something for me. I had the Thai Tea soft serve with Boba - absolutely amazing. I'm surprised my Yelp Elite friend Sam, found their drink lackluster. While I didn't try the "Thai Fighter," I'm shocked! Maybe it was an off day - I didn't read her review prior to my visit. When you walk into the store, it hits you with such a warm sugary smell - it's absolute heaven. The shop isn't a sit down. There's a bench for seating, but it's not a place to hang out. You'll definitely have to leave your laptops at home. The softserve taste true to Thai tea - a strong robust flavor of star anise, vanilla and assam tea, definitely better than any grocery variant. The soft chewy boba, adds a different element of sharp sugar. My friend and I went at night, there were more street parking, but I imagine it can be a little tricky during the day. I've tried the Thai tea ice cream with both boba and cornflake toppings. The boba was delicious, but it's served hot so it melts the ice cream a bit. Between the two toppings, I think I liked the cornflakes slightly better. read more
soft serve here is so good!! and portions are super big for the sizes they offer :) very chill location, we came here after dinner for a sweet treat and was pleasantly surprised. service was quick and efficient--and not much space inside to sit down, so more of a grab and go place but nonetheless it was really good! we will be back :)) we came here later during the evening on a weekday so there was ample street parking. not sure about the weekend situation but it was quick and easy. read more

Some friends and I stopped by for some dessert. Love the concept of thai tea soft serve. Its a quaint shop with street parking. The servers were really nice and helpful and made some great recommendations. I tried the trophy soft serve which was thai tea soft serve with layers of soft chewy boba, corn flakes, grass jelly, and jelly. Omg everything tasted great together...i love the crunch from the corn flakes with the soft chewy boba (that was still warm)! The soft serve just melts in your mouth with the creaminess and great texture. Amazing thai tea flavor with the right amount of creaminess. I also tried the green jasmine tea with jelly and it had great tea flavor. I dont like it too sweet and they were able to adjust the sweetness level. This place definitely fulfilled the sweet tooth and we will definitely be back to try some other things. read more
This shop is very aesthetically pleasing and cute, my friend and I loved visiting here. You can tell straight away that their niche is Thai tea - the wall is orange, all the pictures of the desserts have that signature orange look, and there was even merchandise for the place. The shop itself is quite small, but there was no one there when we went, so we were able to easily place our order for one Thai tea with boba and a Thai tea soft serve. The Thai tea here is very strong, you can taste it both in the tea and the soft serve. There was a little bench where we were able to share our desserts. The only thing I would say is that the employee that helped us was rather quiet, which was fine, but the service wasn't exactly extraordinary, at least for our visit. Came here as a recommendation, things I tried: 1. Thai ice cream with Boba 2. Oatmeal raisin coookie 3. Jasmine green tea with Boba Let me just say they were all good but the one that impressed me the most was the Thai tea. The Thai tea ice cream with Boba was delicious and hit pretty good. I didn't realize they had mix with vanilla and regret not getting it, but it was still a solid choice. The oatmeal cookie was good I wouldn't go as far as saying its the best but its solid and pretty unique and they warm it up for you. The Boba drink was good too so I recommend that too. read more

Stopped by L'moon Creamery after dinner. Since it was quite late, we ended up getting a Thai Tea soft serve with grass jelly to share. The Thai Tea soft serve was on the sweeter side (thank god we didn't get boba) but it was rich and tasted like thai tea (not artificial like most places) The grass jelly didn't have much flavor, tasted like it came out of the can so next time I'd skip the toppings altogether. I only knew about L'Moon Creamery because it is next door to Sichuan Street Food. I came here after work. I initially parked at the small parking lot next to it. I found out that small parking lot belongs to the neighboring businesses. L'Moon actually doesn't have their own parking. You will need to park on the street. Please read the signs. It's a very small creamery shop. Very limited inside bench seating. I was only interested in one item and that was their most popular Thai Tea soft serve. I love Thai Iced Tea so what better way to experience it as an ice cream. I got it with corn flakes which was a first time for me. Soft serve was so smooth and creamy. Quite delightful! It was better than the drink itself. And surprisingly, cornflakes worked very well with it. I have a new found soft serve friend. I will be back here for more Thai Tea soft serve and even try it with boba next time. I found out they also have a location in Upland. I'll be checking out that location, too. Thanks L'Moon for offering a unique twist to Thai Tea that I enjoy very much! read more

Area was nice and clean.. Not sure which one is best seller but we got the Strawberry Matcha, thai tea float, Raspberry boba Sundae, coffee cream brûlée and walnut cookie and they were all great. Sundae was very unique and so creamy.. will definitely go back when i visit Pasadena. read more

Such a cute creamery! :D Saw this place pop up on social media so I had to indulge & try the Thai Tea Soft Serve with boba! It was very delectable & sweet! My boyfriend ordered the large with no boba added & I got small with added boba. When we received our order, both of them had no boba. I asked the girl working there that I had asked for boba & they quickly apologized and gave me extra boba on the side. Much appreciated! I would come again to try new items, the soft serve was delicious but in my opinion Thai Tea is best served over ice haha! ;) read more
