What a cute little bakery! We tried their carrot loaf and it was so thick but moist, definitely not too sweet which I love. Parking is just street parking in front but honestly we got very lucky and didn't have to search for too long. You can see a display case with their food items when you walk in and place an order at the front our loaf came out so quickly and it was very good. Next time we're down in Southern California we'll stop by to try their other foods! Congrats on the new bakery!

I came on a Saturday afternoon around 3 pm, there is metered parking on the streets. Bakery was easy to spot, there was a small line out the door. Since I came later in the day they were sold out of several items like the banana pudding and carrot cake. I tried the cornmeal cookies it was delicious, soft and sweet. The s'mores brownie was rich and delicious really enjoyed that one. If I'm in the area I'd pop in again.

S'mores (yummy), matcha, peanut butter cookies!

The cinnamon roll latte was such a win. I asked for it to not be too sweet and they nailed it. I love cinnamon in coffee, and I got it with almond milk -- so good. The classic cinnamon roll was solid too. I also tried a few of the cookies. The matcha cookie was just okay since it didn't really have much matcha flavor, but the peanut butter cookie was good and the s'mores cookie was definitely my favorite of the three. Their cookies are thin, but pretty big -- about the size of a CD, which is exactly how my daughter described them My favorite item was the tiramisu loaf. The cream topping was delicious and the chocolate cake was super moist. I'd absolutely come back for that and the cinnamon roll latte next time I'm in the area.

2.28.26 Matcha cinnamon roll (not my fav) and classic brownie (amazing)

I've been eyeing this place since seeing the matcha cinnamon roll and finally woke up early enough to try it this weekend. It's a small storefront with limited seating and tables inside. Parking is street parking and wasn't super difficult on a Saturday morning. The line wasn't terribly long around 11am and moved pretty quickly although the cashier definitely didn't seem like she wanted to be there. I ordered the matcha cinnamon roll that I was so excited to try but was disappointed by the flavor. The texture was very good though but I don't think I would get it again. I also got the cornbread cookie and double chocolate cookie which were pretty soft and thin. Their new pound cake was extremely sweet and dry so I would not recommend it. The star of the show that surprised me was the classic brownie. I would definitely recommend this one since the chocolate wasn't overly sweet and the texture was perfect.

I needed a consolation sweet treat after the Metro A line wronged me and BadAshBakes is where I sought solace! The matcha cinnamon roll they are so famous for is a true pillowy swirl of cinnamon sugar that even cinnamon roll haters (me) will enjoy, although it did not taste of matcha at all. The interior is very cute and seems like a great place to catch up with friends! They do serve cinnamon rolls after noon still.

This was my first time trying Badash Bakes and their pastries are AMAZINGG! My favorite was the chocolate chip cookie! The staff was so sweet (especially Tanya and Max) and gave really good recommendations. I will definitely be coming back!

Randomly decided to give it another try after leaving my initial attempt a couple months ago because the wait was too long and I was in and out within 15 mins this time around! Parking is a little bit of a hassle since it's either street parking or shared parking with the postal office and the businesses/plaza across the street. Upon walking into the door, I was greeted by everyone and service was very friendly. Despite having multiple customers ahead of me, it went by quick. I love the aesthetic of the interior and minimalistic of the decor. Everything is laid out on the display and looked amazing! I got the banana bread, oatmeal raisin cookie and double matcha with oatmilk. The banana bread was very moist and the oatmeal raisin was very soft and chewy. The double matcha was very refreshing but creamy!

This was like a 3.5 but I'll give it 4. We ordered a bunch of cookies, 3 cinnamon rolls, a brownie, and a couple of drinks back around the time Badash first opened. At the time, it took about an hour to get it but I haven't really seen lines driving past so hopefully there's no wait now. My favorites were the two cinnamon rolls and the only thing I would return for. They're soft and chewy, perfect for me, and I particularly loved the matcha one. While the cookies weren't bad, they honestly didn't taste like a lot. Every cookie aside from the s'more and chocolate chip tasted roughly like a sugar cookie with some light flavoring. The matcha had no matcha flavor at all, or rather, I think it's hard for the matcha to be more pronounced than the butter and sugar. The coffee was a definite miss, kind of watery with a lot of milk. I honestly don't remember anything about the brownie. Service was friendly and pretty quick.

I'm so glad I don't live too close to this bakery, because it would be a problem. The cookies here are so incredibly delicious. Not overly sweet. They are buttery and soft and easy to scarf down so watch out. They kind of remind me of Mrs. Fields cookies, but thinner. Aesthetically, this bakery/café is 10 out of 10. You will get your picture. The service is decent. There are a couple of spots to sit at inside as well as a table or two out front. But most people just grab and go. Cornbread Cookie 100/10- my favorite. Everything I imagined a cornbread cookie would be. I could eat a dozen of them. Snickerdoodle 100/10 Divinity Peanut Butter Cookie 100/10 insane! Love the crunchy sugar crumble on top White chip Macadamia 100/10 Strawberry Matcha 9/10

The image shows a seating area with four plush, beige, tufted chairs and a matching ottoman, arranged on a light wood floor. A small side table with decorative vases is positioned next to one of the chairs. The background includes a white brick wall with a wooden shelf above, and part of a person standing to the right. The setting appears to be a modern, stylish interior space, possibly a lounge or waiting area.

Wonderful atmosphere at this little boutique bakery. I have followed the owner on social media for a while and was excited to finally visit her bakery. Service was amazing and the baked goods were a treat. Dreams do come true . Please visit if you are in the Pasadena area. You will be pleased.

Had the opportunity to try Badash Bakes while visiting LA and let me say it did not disappoint! I got the chocolate cinnamon roll and my son the traditional. I also got the Tiramisu hot chocolate and the s'mores cookie and all were rich, decadent, incredibly yummy and satisfying! She is using the highest quality ingredients and you can taste it! Also cool is that you can see Bad Ash baking and the atmosphere and ambience scream this is not your average bakery!! Service was outstanding despite the short wait in line. This place is not to be missed if you're anywhere near LA.

Two cinnamon rolls with white icing are shown inside a paper-lined box at Badash Bakes in Pasadena, CA. The rolls are coiled and topped with a generous layer of icing, with some of the icing slightly melting into the pastry. The bakery is known for its matcha cinnamon rolls and soft cookies, and the presentation suggests they are freshly baked and ready to be enjoyed.

Needed to see what the hype was about on social media. And let me tell you about the best cinnamon roll I've ever had. Perfectly sweet, loaded with cinnamon, and topped with a thick cream cheese-style frosting that balances everything out so well. Every bite was soft. Only thing is I wish it could have been served warm. That said, the price is definitely on the steep side but for a treat this good, it still feels worth trying at least once! I paid almost $17 for cinnamon roll and a regular iced latte. So yes it's steep but I must come back. Come early and you'll the beat the line!

I'm assuming because it isn't near the shopping areas of downtown, so it's not quite as bad. They have a designated parking area in the back of the coffee shop, but you can easily find parking on the street. We came on a Sunday morning and noticed all the seats being taken up inside. They have seats lined on the exterior of the perimeter of the store, too. The AC was blasting when we came, matching the cold, rainy temperature outside... we actually didn't end up staying here for long due to the that. When we were in line, we were able to peruse the merchandise that they had for display. Shirts, snacks, or drinkware. We also decided what items we had wanted from their menu. I was quite disappointed that they discontinued their mochi drink. I ended up getting their banana latte and my fiancé ordered their coffee coffee latte. We also ordered their beautiful dessert. Their banana latte was good but it truly tasted like an overripe banana; the type you put in your freezer to save for banana bread. I didn't quite like it. It was also topped with toffee bits, which gave the drink a new appeal. I think I preferred my fiancé's drink over mine. We ordered their Tropical Fruit dessert as well, which reminded me of the viral pastries I would see influencers eat. It had a crunch exterior made of chocolate with real mango chunks inside. It was mixed with passion fruit mousse and coconut crunch and sponge, like an almond joy bar. It was delicious but quite expensive to purchase. I'd love to try their other ones such as the Dubai chocolate one or their raspberry. Overall, the experience was quite decent. Their workers are very stressed and fixated on pumping out the drinks at a fast rate. I'd come back if I'm ever in the area, to try other drinks they have alongside their desserts.

Their top sellers are their Toasty (a milk tea latte), Vienna Latte, and Matcha Latte. Almond and oat milk substitutions are free of charge! I opted for their matcha (iced & sweetened, with oat milk) this time for the lower caffeine amount, and for the price point ($7.25) I think this was an average drink. The main reason I'm giving this recent visit two stars is because of the service. I walked into the store about five minutes after the app notified me that my drinks were ready and specifically told me to check in with "Luz," our barista. So I walked over and politely asked about my order. She responded with a facial expression that closely resembled disgust--as if she was silently asking why I was even speaking to her--and said, "We're working on it," with a frown. ...Okay. After our drinks finally came out, she placed them on the counter, called my name, and immediately walked away. Correct me if I'm wrong, but from what I remember, Philz Coffee baristas usually ask customers to taste their drinks and let them know if the flavor needs to be adjusted. That's kind of part of the experience. Unfortunately, I didn't get that opportunity because she disappeared before I could say anything. To make things worse, all of the sweetness levels were off. I ordered three drinks - the drink that was supposed to be "sweet and creamy" wasn't sweet enough, the one that was supposed to have "light sugar" was somehow too sweet, and the last drink wasn't sweet at all--it was just bitter. At that point, between the attitude and the inconsistent drinks, it just wasn't worth the hassle. Sadly, I most likely won't be returning to this location. I had already taken a break from coming here, and this visit pretty much confirmed why. I'll continue making the drive to the Philz Coffee in Glendale instead, where the drinks are consistently good and the experience is much better. This location, unfortunately, just isn't it.
