Go for the flavorful, delicious food and drinks. Go back for the patriotism. There were three military service members having lunch when I walked in. During my fantastic lamb wrap, I asked if I could pay for the service members meals. The owner, who was also helping with service, had already paid for their meal. That's a restaurant worth supporting! read more

Loved this place for a quick bite to eat or drink with friends. The grilled avocado was amazing!

My boyfriend and I tried Audubon before heading to our first Red Sox game, and overall, the food and service were great. The prices are also quite reasonable. We both ordered burgers- regular for him, veggie for me- and liked that they came with potatoes instead of fries. The potatoes were cooked really well. The veggie burger was good, but VERY messy. The second I picked it up it disintegrated in my hands. Also, they could afford to be more generous with the "fixins," as it only came with 1 tiny piece of lettuce and 1 tiny pickle slice. The aioli was good, but a bit too spicy for my tastes. Overall, we would come here again, perhaps for brunch! read more

A great little neighborhood spot. Nice beer and wine list with innovative cocktails. Their food is unique, but not too "out there". Everyone will be able to find something they like. Their veggie burger is divine, and although I like to try new things I find myself ordering it almost every time. The inside atmosphere is cozy and great for a cold evening, while the outside patio is just adorable when the weather gets nicer. read more

Excellent atmosphere, not so many tables but enough for friends hanging out. The steak had heavily smoked taste while the chicken a little dry. Don't forget to bring your id to have their cocktails. read more

Omg was this place good! The mussels are amazing and in a delicious spicy red coconut curry sauce. I was licking the bowl. Then we had the jerk mahi mahi. This was seasoned to perfection, with a delicious but slightly sweet red beans and rice and topped with mixed greens. I can't wait to go back it was all so amazing! read more

Great menu with a nice spread. There's definitely something for everyone on their menu which makes it perfect for groups and picky eaters. I also love that you can easily order an entire meal here or just a few bites - and the prices are really reasonable. Great bar with a nice selection of wines and beers, as well as a full bar. I'm not a cocktail drinker so I can't speak to the cocktails, but the wines I've had are really nice. Service has always been on point - super friendly and accommodating bartenders and wait staff. read more

Great spot, love that the vibe is more Brooklyn than "Boston bro," and in this neighborhood it's great to have alternatives to that. Great service and great decor. The food is excellent. Very good shishito peppers, although I've never had them with sauce before, but it works. The turkey cubano is great, and it's hard to imagine anything on the menu being a disappointment. Will definitely be back. read more

First off.. absolutely lovely interior, very nice service and the backyard is super cute and quiet. The food was meh. I think they're trying so I'm optimistic but my experience was not so hot. Veggie burger is homemade, and I tasted rice in it which is nice but it was covered in the sauce so it was hard to get any flavor. Also, they should work on a kids menu.. even 3 options would be good because there is none right now. Plus, no dessert? what's up with that? Sorry Audubon.. I'm sure you'll 'get there' but for me.. not there yet. read more

I came here for lunch, and I was pleased with the service and place, but not entirely please with the good. I ordered the vegetarian burger, and the veggie patty was soggy and very bland. The side of potatoes that came with it was delicious! They didn't have many toppings to accommodate for my vegan diet (which isn't necessarily their fault, just pointing it out). Our waiter was very kind and attentive! The place was dimly lit and had a very mellow vibe to it, which I enjoyed! Overall, it was a pretty decent experience but not my top choice for food. read more

Great atmosphere, well designed. We ordered the salt and pepper shrimp for an app and got the Steak Press for the entree. Everything was good! NIce drink menu, would definitely repeat. read more

I was a fan before they switched management and changed the menu up, and I'm an even bigger fan now. The food is always solid and they have a really good variation in the menu for people who want healthier options and ones that want something a little sluttier. I like the minimalistic decor and ambiance, and the bartenders are always super nice and friendly; me and my husband are in here often and they always recognize us, say hello and make a little small talk. Sweet patio too. read more

This place was always good. But now it's great. Drinks are better, menu is better, food is better. This place should be so much busier than it is. Take advantage of it before everyone catches up. Corn is solid, tomato bisque is solid, all food is completely consistent. Great meal. read more

I have loved this place since the old owners, I think I love it more now! My favorite reason to love it is the minimalistic decor, the abundant bar seating and what I consider the best bar food in Boston. I don't even like bars, but this one really really does it for me. It's also a great place to grab lunch or dinner after visiting the MFA or the Gardner museums. I noticed on my last visit that the bar tenders were doing some creative mixology, but not in a pretentious way at all, so next time I'll be sure to try a cocktail! read more

Really cool place, nice staff, small but solid draft selection and good burgers priced just right.

Great ambiance on a Thursday night! The cocktails are creative and delicious. Was absolutely blown away by the jiggly puff which is mostly pizco and strawberry yoghurt. Will be definitely coming back. read more

So happy to find this place only a block from home! Cozy atmosphere, great food, delicious cocktails. All of the staff is extremely attentive and friendly! Will be taking all visitors to Boston here. read more

Great place for drinks and food. I've only been here a few times but this time left an impression that will get me back here for sure. My friend and I ordered a few cocktails, beer and a glass of the chianti and all were definitely worth recommending. We also got the calamari which was delicious. What really made the difference was the service. Both bartenders that served us were attentive and personable and we couldn't have asked for more. I'd definitely recommend this place for both their food and their drink menu. read more

Last night the chef must have been new! Have had dozens of wonderful meals until last night, sent food back only to have it replaced with worse food ever read more

I went to BU but hadn't been back to Audubon for years. Yesterday (Saturday), my friend and I stopped by for brunch and it was so nice! We ordered (and split) the breakfast flatbread and burger. The burger was especially delicious - cooked perfectly (med. rare) and the maple aioli sauce was AMAZING. Really, really great. Our server was also terrific. He suggested I try a new cocktail I hadn't tried making yet, and then comped it from our bill just because I wasn't totally obsessed with it - even though I'd drunk the whole thing, anyway. Extremely welcoming and friendly guy!! read more

I got the 8 oz burger and it was superb. It has a wonderful cozy atmosphere and I love the location! I'll Definitely come back soon:)

I was stood up for a date, only to reach into my purse to pay for the drink I ordered while waiting at the bar and discover I left my wallet at the office and had no way to pay for it. The bartender was so sweet and took care of the drink. It was my first time in the space, which is adorable, and the drink was awesome with a ton of great sounding options I didn't get to try. I'll be back to pay it forward, and have another! read more

Boston's best kept secret. Sexy bartenders, loyal to the cause. They care about the customer experience, and are just absolute studs. They're straight ballers at their craft, and I dare you to find a better drink. You wont. Now get the hell off of yelp and get your butt down there before last call. Shoutout to John, Nick, and Sam (in that order). Chao read more

Really fun atmosphere and good service. I got the veggie burger which was really big and filling. Not the most amazing flavor in the patty itself, but the spicy aioli really made it. read more

Solid option in the neighborhood. This place really shines on a warm summer night when it's just a teeny bit out of the way of the crowds at Fenway. The space is cool - a little on the dark side, spacious, unique finishes. If the weather allows, take advantage of the awesome patio in the back. It's a small space, but surrounded by ambient-ly lit bamboo that gives it a unique feel. The cocktail program consists of a lot of staples and a few interesting options, all very well executed. As far as food goes, the BLT spread is delicious; the flounder is my entree of choice. The burger is very under-rated; well prepared by itself, lots of interesting topping options too. read more

My girlfriend and I stopped in for lunch on a Friday. I'd love to stop back the next time we're in town. I had a bottled cocktail with St. George's gin and yellow chartreuse that might be the perfect carbonated cocktail for Summer 2015. The food menu is very french inspired. My gourmet grilled cheese came with a small arugula & oil salad in addition to the potatoes I ordered as a side. My girlfriend had a pork sandwich that was perfectly prepared. My only regret is we weren't able to stop back for dinner. read more

Stopped in for a quick drink and an app. Great combo "local watering hole" meets a reflective, updated menu. Must try the grilled avocado with a kick. And, if you are thirsty, try the Half Moon Buck beverage. Superb gin-based drink but without that over-sugared, forced mixed-drink taste you can get at other bars. Mustering all my willpower to not walk out with their fabulous antique ice grinder behind the bar. Snoopy Snow Cone machine has nothing on this one! Fun staff all the way from Tyler, the manager, to the entire bar crew. Thanks for a great evening! Looking forward to next visit. read more

We are visting from Fort Lauderdale. We are staying near by at the Buckminster. It short walk up Beacon past Fenway. Good food, good service. We had the wings and roast beast. read more

Audubon is awesome for a nice pre-game hangout, amazing brunch, great dinner options, small-plates; you name it, they have something you'll love. Especially recommend trying the cocktails...there's always something interesting on the menu. read more

Overall, good experience on an early summer day. Service was good and attentive. Waitress was very good, knew her drinks, and took good care of our party of 3. The Grilled Avocado app was interesting with the furnishings on top of it. I got the special, the steak tips, and it was good but not incredible. Portion was a bit small, but relative to the price. Good value as well as the veggies were well prepared. Good atmosphere inside, as outside deck was a wait. Overall - 3 Stars. read more

Always good food, and usually friendly people. However, today I have to dock one star because my waitress was really rude to me. I was in a hurry at the end of my meal, so I figured I'd walk up to the bar to pay just to make things easy and quick. I was trying to be polite, and I didn't mean any criticism - I just figured it'd make it easy for them as well. When I started walking over the waitress scowled at me and said "I'll bring it to you." I smiled politely and said okay. Then across the room I saw her and the chef looking over at me as she said in reference to me loudly "DRAMATIC MUCH?!" I Don't know what her problem was, I was just trying to be nice. Don't treat your customers like this, we're not here for you to unload on. I work in the service industry too. Have a little professionalism. Despite this, the bartenders are usually really friendly. read more

We've been to the new Audubon twice for lunch and loved it both times. On both visits, it was not busy--late lunches on days when there were no Sox games. The greeting was warm and the service excellent. We split some dishes, and they divided the orders and plated them beautifully in the kitchen. Why don't more places do this? I hate when a restaurant plops a salad down in the middle of a table expecting us to divide it up with a fork. I digress. We have had a few things now and all were yummy and the portions are more than ample. Favorites were an open-faced crab melt and their version of a BLT, a cheesy delight on a ciabatta roll. We also loved the grilled peaches! I don't care for Kale, but my Kale-loving pal raved about her enormous Kale salad. The prices are reasonable, and it's cozy. The old Audubon was very good, but they've really kicked it up a few notches with a more varied and well-executed menu. read more

Wow this was a letdown. We ordered the olive spread and BLT spread with pitas. The spread were bland and the pitas were burnt. In fact, bland seemed to be the reoccurring theme throughout the dinner. We also ordered the yuca cakes -- again, nothing special. The asparagus salad was decent and the corn husk flounder had the most flavor. Not worth though for going back for one decent dish. read more

Good bar food, but I would not compare it to a restaurant. The burger was good with many options for topping but their medium rare turned out to be a well done. The roost beef was good but simple and again bar food quality. read more

I just came back from there. I've never written a review before now. I needed $40 in change. Instead of just giving me two $20 bills, A Mr. Devo gave $40 worth of fives and singles! Quality Human-Being right there. It made my night. The menu is interesting and the drinks menu is very self-aware--doesn't take itself too seriously, but at the same time doesn't subscribe to some pastiche of overly-ironic hipster b.s.. New specials every two to three nights! Yumtown, population: me! read more

Had an perfectly wonderful experience tonight with DeVo at the bar!! He was kind, quick, hilarious and informative. Seriously one of the best meals we have had in a long while. Dinner was delicious and we are coming back ASAP. read more

Fabulous! The food, service, ambiance, and decor are excellent. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. Mixed, low key crowd....all different ages... not a twenty-something dump. read more

This is certainly not your typical burger and beer joint (menu is more refined) but had a great upbeat atmosphere. We sat at a table on the outside patio, which was cute. We ordered a variety of small plates to share and loved everyone. They each had their own unique twist. Especially loved the shrimp. Fun cocktails, nice glass of wine, I would absolutely go back. read more

A large group of us BU Alumni Relations & Development folks descended upon your establishment the Audubon Boston on a whim after a gathering on the rooftop of the School of Business. Your team whipped together a large table on the patio and we were so well treated and "hydrated." It was a gorgeous August night with bamboo & strung lights. The drinks ran the range of cool draft beers, various wines & some tequila cocktails (Tequilachula), plus the Night Music Fizz! (OMG!! so good!) Damn! It was really awesome. =o) read more

I called ahead at about 6:30 pm on a Saturday to inquire about the wait time for a table out on the patio. I was told that there was currently no wait, but that they have a strict policy that tables on the patio are for dinner service only (i.e. can't just order drinks). This was fine by us because we were hoping to get dinner. We arrived about 20 minutes later and were told by the hostess that the patio was now full, which is totally understandable, and we were fine to wait for an available table. However, after asking what the wait time would be, the hostess said she could not give us a wait time as people were "just chilling" out on the patio. This made no sense, because I had just been told on the phone that patio space was for dinner customers only - and so shouldn't they have at least an idea of what a wait time would be? We were really turned off by the idea of indefinitely waiting for others to be done "chilling" and decided to go elsewhere. read more
