    IT'S BROWNIE TIME

Phenomenal & will be back to try again! Parking is rough, if you don't catch something in front of the restaurant you might be searching for a while. Staff & service was friendly! Nothing out of the norm, average, quick, and attentive service. The food was phenomenal! I had the Beef tips & Chicken tips, and for dessert I had the "it's brownie time" ice cream & brownies combo, which I recommend highly. I love that the focus is around serving food in Tip as their highlight. I will say a lot of their food is cooked with alcohol, so slow down and read if that's something you're trying to avoid. Typically when restaurants charge higher in price the food is average in taste, but everything else we ate was a home run. I will be back to try more! For the scenery of the restaurant it was a mix of a Bar and fine dining. I like that, if you're there to watch sports and hangout you can easily do that. If you're there for a nice and simple date they've separated a space to do just that as well. It's been a while since I've been enthusiastic about a restaurant and I have to say the restaurant was a great experience, please try!

Stopped in on a Sunday for a quick lunch. I was kind of bummed because when I saw the wings on the reviews, that was what I planned to order, but they had a separate brunch/lunch menu for that day. However, the bartender asked the cooks and they made me the wings! They were so good, they had such a unique flavor and I believe I tasted tarragon coming through. ! So 5 stars for service and hospitality. Also the espresso martini was delish! The spicy ranch is great with the fries.

Fun spot to hang out at! Came here on New Years Eve (just walked by while strolling through looking for ice sculptures) and we were able to sit at the bar without a wait. Things were starting to pick up as it was a bit later (930/10pm) and we enjoyed a couple drinks here before making our way to one more spot for the final countdown. Our bartender was friendly and the drinks were great. We tried an old fashioned, mean eyed cat margarita, and an espresso martini. They were delicious and potent. They have an extensive beer and spirit menu too, and a lot of tempting food options that I would definitely like to try if I return next time I'm in town!

This place was a mixed bag but ultimately disappointing. Starting with the good, the menu and drink list are very fun and a great mix. The draft list is also very extensive and great for pre-game or concerts at TD. Unfortunately, the actual food left a lot to be desired. I will give them props for bringing the dishes split in two after my partner expressed that we would be sharing everything. However, the portion of risotto was so sad that I'm hoping the actual size is larger. It had 4 pieces of shrimp and it was more so wet rice than risotto, there was no creaminess. Also, the tikka masala Cesar was just tikka masala over lettuce (with broccoli?) there was no Caesar aspect. In addition, the steak burger was mushy and flavorless. Even the cheese was strange and very hard. Alps charging extra to put cheese on a burger that comes with nothing but sauce is laughable. Service was also confusing with all servers parking at all tables so multiple servers came up to take our order and we had to keep sending the away as we had already ordered. Overall the menu is very experimental but not executed well and service needs some organization and communication between the team.

I really just dropped in and out for a drink right as they closed, so my rating is only for them as a bar. The bartenders were incredibly kind to let us sample beers less than 20 minutes before closing and even make us a nonalcoholic cocktail as they were closing up. Beers are a bit pricey, but nothing unusual for the area. $10 after tax and tip for a draft pour.

This place is absolutely awesome. I would definitely visit the Tip Tap room frequently if I lived in the area. We were the first ones there; we arrived shortly after they opened (no reservations). They have an awesome, diverse menu with a ton of great beer choices. I was planning on trying one of the brews, but someone started with a Bloody Mary and we all followed suit. My friends had a beer chaser and were happy with their choices. I had a veggie burger that was absolutely delicious. Rave reviews on everything else including our awesome, engaging server. It got very busy quickly with large parties that had reservations. Definitely go here.

Tried more of the menu and was pleased overall! Pork dumplings were savory, steak tips tender, and calamari was generously breaded and fried. We also had the beet salad which was probably the only thing that wasn't special. The drink menu is larger than the food menu so there are lots of options for everyone. I enjoyed my cocktails.

Absolutely lovely. So many selections of beers on tap, tasty specials, and fast service. This cozy spot was within walking distance from our hotel, and it was the first thing we ate in Boston; after our stay in Maine, it tasted full of flavor and the portions are oversized! We ordered the Chorizo and Brisket Burger and the Hash, and holy guacamole it was good! The green sauce on the hash was super tasty and delicious! When we went, there were a couple of sports games on and not many people in the restaurant (it was in between meal times).

This place can best be described as having upscale sports bar vibes. As in, there is a large bar on one side of the dining room and TV screens in each corner of the room playing the latests sports game, but full-service restaurant tables everywhere else. Everyone but one person in our group got steak tips, and we all thoroughly enjoyed how tender and flavorful the dish was. I tried a bite of the tofu tips as well and it was equally well-cooked, with a nice crispy texture on the outside while being tender on the inside. This was not my personal favorite type of dining environment, since it was dimly lit and loud from the large number of people in the dining room, but no complaints at all on the food or service. The price was okay at $30 for the steak tips and $22 for the tofu tips. Would gladly come again if friends wanted to, but not my personal favorite choice in terms of ambiance and audibility for talking.

LOVE the vibe of this place! Met up with some old friends and grabbed dinner here before an event at TD Garden and the service was fast and efficient! We made reservations, but arrived 20mins early and the lovely host seated us right away while we waited for the rest of the party to arrive. We started out with the pork dumplings and were pleasantly surprised with how delicious they were! Great flavor and very authentic dumplings with a little kick to them (tiny bit spicy, but not too bad, as I'm very sensitive to spicy foods!). I ordered the Tofu Tips, which made me laugh at the name, but they were actually superb! Often when I order a vegetarian meal, there is very little flavor. This dish was the opposite. So much taste in every bite and served in a fairly large portion. Loved the sliced avocado on the side to mix with the sautéed baby spinach, squash and peppers. One of my friends ordered the lamb burger, which he states was phenomenal, with "a little kick to it"! I ate some of his fries...and they were cooked to perfection- crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Big thumbs up for his dish! My other friend ordered the Chicken Tips and said it was absolutely delicious. We were all thoroughly impressed with our meals and the friendly and efficient service! We wrapped up in time to get to our event early without having to rush through our meal. I HIGHLY recommend this restaurant. The cleanliness and vibe was top notch and the food and service were excellent. I will most definitely be back when I'm in Boston again! Yay!

Salty Pig Pizza: A pizza with the same name as the restaurant! Who was the genius who came up with the idea of salted pig and beer caramel? It's brilliant! The salted pork appears to include Prosciutto di Parma from Langirano, Prosciutto Cotto, and Salcissia. Baking rendered the prosciutto's fat, which blends with the caramel to create a beautiful golden syrup that flows across the pizza's surface. The prosciutto was savory, oily, and tender; the minced salcissia retains its coarse texture and rich meaty aroma; the caramel was sweet and mellow with a honey-like sweetness, forming the top, middle, and base notes respectively. The arugula was slightly warmed, losing its astringent and raw taste while maintaining its crisp texture, helped to cut through the richness together with the Parmesan cheese powder. The crust was crispy, while the inside the dough was soft and chewy. The cooking time and seasoning were all just right, and the restaurant's proud wooden oven added a charming smoky flavor. Affogato: I had high expectations, but it was just okay. The espresso was too sour, and the vanilla ice cream couldn't balance it out. The almond biscuits had an overpowering almond flavor, and the flavor of plant-based protein was terrible! (Oh, this should have been a plus...)

The sangria was okay and the crab rangoon dip was exactly what I expected, but the squid ink tagliatelle surprisingly impressed me. The course began with the charred octopus appetizer, which was easily one of the highlights of the night. The octopus had a beautifully crispy, charred exterior while remaining soft and juicy inside. It was coated in an aromatic, slightly sweet glaze that reminded me of balsamic, adding depth without overpowering the dish. The daikon brought a subtle sweetness with hints of soy and sugar that balanced everything nicely. The greens were slightly dry and a bit overcooked, but still a pleasant addition overall. Generous portion and very well executed. I also got to try the smoked fish croquettes which were another standout. Shaped almost like crispy potato balls, they had the perfect crunch on the outside and a creamy, soft filling inside. The fish flavor was light and delicate, not overly "fishy", making them incredibly enjoyable and well-balanced. For wine, I had an Austrian Grüner selection that was sweet and crisp, yet smooth. It paired beautifully with the octopus, enhancing the glaze and balancing the char. I had to get another glass of this after my entire meal. The prosciutto-wrapped cod was visually stunning - vibrant, colorful, and thoughtfully plated with fingerling potatoes, slices of chorizo, and a bright orange confit beneath the fish. While the presentation and portion size were great, this entrée fell a bit short in flavor. The cod itself was tender and juicy, but it needed some seasoning. The prosciutto created a slightly dry crust, and a steak knife was necessary to cut through it comfortably. The confit and vegetables leaned a little too tangy and overpowered the dish. I found the fingerlings ame chorizo to be slightly over-salted, and while the chorizo had good flavor, I felt that there were too many overpowering flavors coming through. Overall, this wasn't my favorite dish of the night, though the wine paired with it was excellent. Dessert completely redeemed the experience. The mascarpone berry cake was sweet, spongy, and moist with a warm center. It was topped with a citrusy vanilla whipped cream and fresh strawberries, which added brightness and balance. Absolutely delicious. The Moscato-like dessert wine - lightly bubbly, fruity, soft, and sweet - paired perfectly and elevated the cake even more. Overall, Provisions shines in its appetizers, wine pairings, and exceptional service (thank you, Katie!). While the cod entrée didn't quite meet my expectations, the experience as a whole was enjoyable and thoughtfully curated. Definitely worth a visit, especially if you appreciate well-executed small plates and expertly paired wines!
