Omar was a fantastic server and knowledgeable of the menu. Decor was beautiful. Will absolutely be back soon. I always like to note as well how a business treats solo diners and Earl's really hit the mark. Didn't feel any less attended to than people with a group which really does make a huge difference and is not always the case! Grateful for earls as it turned out to be the best meal we had while we were in Boston. It is hard to find a place everyone agrees on but earls has something for everyone. We were greeted with a taste of champagne and seated quickly. The vibe was great and the service was even better. Ela was attentive and had an infectious smile and personality. Upbeat atmosphere and a nice treat yourself escape from the hustle of Prudential Center - the place for a couple of apps to share and cocktails. It's a nice space with lots of booth and high table options, and even bar and open kitchen seating for solo diners or smaller parties. Some downsides were that the pasta wasn't as hot as we would've liked but still had some flavor. We added protein to the Caesar Salad but was not expecting a $16 surcharge - note that a "half" portion is $8 (only written as 'Chicken' +$8 on the menu) and "full" is $16. Eva's is located inside the Prudential Center and features a beautiful ambiance. We were seated at the indoor patio area with marble tables, plenty of greenery, and clear windows that made the space feel like a classy greenhouse, chic yet relaxed. However, I wish my appreciation for the atmosphere extended to the food and service as well. I visited with a couple of friends, and we ordered the steak + truffle tortellini, steak + sushi (wagyu beef press), and eggs benedict. My steak and truffle tortellini wasn't bad. The steak was cooked well and the tortellini had a nice, soft texture, but the sauce had a very tart flavor that became overwhelming after a few bites. The steak and sushi was also a miss. The sauce was so salty that it drowned out the other flavors. Unfortunately, the service didn't help. We saw our server once when taking our order, and it was difficult to flag anyone down afterward. By the time someone finally came over, we were nearly finished eating, which made it feel a bit pointless. I really wanted to love this place. The setting is gorgeous, but between the uneven food and slow service, it just missed the mark for me. I'd come back for drinks or the vibe, but probably not for a full meal. read more

I think this place is over priced. But it's inside prudential, has good service, so probably that explains the price part. They have complementary drink when we checked in. And they checked on our table several times during our meal. So service is good. But then they automatically added 3% admin fees. Food wise, I got the Truffle Tortellini. I'm disappointed. First of all, I didn't taste anything truffle. The portion is pretty small. Or they just have a big plate. The flavor is good, but nothing impressive. For $27.50, I can get better option somewhere. Earls in the mall in Boston really surprised me--in the best way. You don't usually expect a fine dining atmosphere in a mall, but the modern chic décor, cozy booths, and gold embellishments gave it an upscale vibe right away. One note: while I love a good booth, it was a bit odd that large parties (like ours) were squeezed into one. Six work colleagues in a booth made for some cramped dining--probably better suited for smaller groups. That said, the food was impressive and memorable. My spaghetti with shrimp and scallops was spot-on, and the seafood was cooked to perfection. Everyone at the table enjoyed their meals and had only good things to say. But what really stood out was the service. Our waitress was incredible--thoughtful, knowledgeable, patient, kind, and funny. She absolutely elevated the whole experience. I had such a good time here at earls. We went during the happy hour, and started with oysters and truffle fries. Both were so good! Earls was a nice break from the mall. I was totally sold by the "rooftop" bar. My mind envisioned something quite different from what we experienced... which was a rooftop bar without a view. Oh well. The one thing when we were seated was that we were told someone would be right with us. Well, right with us meant 20 minutes. By the time she came over, the table across from us grabbed her and placed their order. I had already walked 8 miles that day and was just ready for a drink and a snack; otherwise, I would have left. We were on a spooky girls' trip to Boston/Salem and our first stop was the Prudential Center View Boston. Before, we stopped at Earls for lunch. Two of us decided to have our first clam chowder in Boston as part of a marathon to rate the chowders in each restaurant we ate. They gave it huge reviews but it was their first so nothing to compare it with. I had the Ahi Tuna Tataki which I loved but did not realize it was a small plate. Still, it was filling. We order the chicken lettuce wraps and the cajun blackened chicken. Everything was delicious. Our server Jillian was a delight. She answered are questions, was patient and attentive, checking in on us periodically to make sure we were ok. Our busboy, Butters was the man! A friend from Boston gave Earl's as a restaurant recommendation. We almost didn't go in, because we were turned off by it being inside a mall. Wow, what a lovely surprise! We were sat in the very back on the covered, rooftop. So pretty! The oysters were expensive at $4 each, but probably the best we have ever had. Apparently, they are grown and only sold for and to Earl's?! Andrew was our waiter and made our experience here amazing. He is knowledgeable, well spoken, mature, super friendly, and helpful. As a tourist, he gave us spot on recommendations. It is not surprising he was just given the opportunity to move into a leadership and training role (I had to ask why he was only a waiter when he clearly has more potential than that). It was a nice place at the mall and seemed promising but the dishes were overly seasoned with lemon flavor so made their dishes sour. I usually enjoy lemon in my dishes but this was too overwhelming. The steak was undercooked so we asked to cook a little more and the waitress seemed annoyed with our request, it was cooked more and was done right the second time. So let's just start by the burger that was a frozen patty and I should have know bc the server never asked me how I would like it ( medium , well done ....) How could u mess up a Berger ? This was my first visit to Earl and I will definitely be back. The ambiance was somewhat noisy but not obnoxious. The vibe inside the restaurant was classy but fun and not overly stuffy. Our server was absolutely amazing. I wish I got her name to call her out but she was sweet, informative and always on top of our needs. The food was really good but not out of this world. My chicken was a bit overcooked and dry. The ahi tuni salad was incredible. Fresh and very flavorful. The calamari was good but the crust was a bit bland. I ordered Earl's Kitchen and Bar for delivery to my hotel, but I can't wait to visit in person! The birria tacos were outstanding and the dipping sauce had the perfect balance of flavor and spice. My delivery driver (not from the restaurant) did not grab the water I ordered. The restaurant manager, Sarah, discovered it right away. She personally delivered the water and some extra goodies. We made an advance reservation for a Saturday evening meal. The place was overflowing, which I optimistically took as a good sign. (Foreshadowing: it was not.) The service: The host seated us promptly--great start! Then our waitress appeared, made eye contact long enough to take every single order for the evening in one breath, and then vanished like Houdini. When the apps arrived, we ate them... with our bare hands, because the small plates and utensils didn't show up until 15 minutes later. The second time we saw the waitress was when she brought our drinks and advised us--like some sort of bar-supply survival guide--to "order the next round now because there's only one bartender." One bartender. On a packed Saturday night. If true, this is truly Olympic-level mismanagement. Shame on Earl's for staffing like it's a slow Tuesday in February. The third (and final!) time we saw her was when we begged for the check so we could escape. The food: A burger with "just cheese" should mean just cheese. Instead, it came with sauce, tomatoes, and pickles--basically everything except lettuce. The new bibimbap special? Under-seasoned ground beef, a couple lonely mushroom strips, mushy kimchi, and rice served in a plastic bowl. A plastic bowl. How is rice supposed to crisp up in a bowl that melts if you look at it too hard? The tuna poke was the final betrayal--chewy white veins in the tuna (love that for us), hard avocado, and mangoes so sour they should come with a warning label. Inedible. Truly. Nope. Never eating here again. Maybe we ordered the wrong things, but we'll never know because there are way too many great places to eat around the back bay/ south end to bother coming back here. read more

I read several reviews about the food coming out cold and thought maybe the kitchen had a bad day. I ordered a surf and turf which I had to send back as it was not prepared as asked. This was one of thee best meals I've ever had and definitely a top meal while in Boston. Me and my co worker went here to bond after finishing day two of our show. Our waiter was amazing! His name was Daniel and he truly went above and beyond. We ended up talking to him some after eating and he seems like a really nice genuine person. He was also easy on the eyes so that never hurts. For my first cocktail I ordered a mango coconut margarita. It was pretty good but my second cocktail the passion fruit martini was 10/10. It was so perfect. I ordered the steak and sushi. For the sushi I got the aburi salmon sushi press with the 4oz steak that comes served in ponzu sauce. We also got a lobster tail to share and a crab cake. The crab cake was really good, I do wish it had big chunks of the crab meat, but the flavor was amazing and so was the sauce on the plate which was a caper remoulade. The lobster tail was cooked perfectly, succulent and tender and well seasoned. I really enjoyed it. My steak was cooked perfectly and the ponzu sauce paired really well. However, that sushi. That was the best bite all night. It was so simple but you could taste the freshness and the quality of the ingredients. The salmon was so delicious and everything was perfect about the sushi. We also got dessert thanks to the restaurant manager Sarah for the recommendation, we got the chocolate cake with ice cream and like a brittle on the plate. It was 10/10. The perfect sweet treat to end the meal with. The ambiance was really nice. I liked the lounge + bar feel but you could still have a nice conversation with the ppl you came with. Mother's Day brunch for my wife on their rooftop patio was excellent. Everyone we interacted with was friendly and professional. We were greeted with a welcome prosecco in celebration of Mother's Day which was a nice surprise. The decor was really nice with different seating arrangements and furniture. The interior of the restaurant is really nice but since it was roll pretty cold outside, the rooftop bar is actually enclosed and you don't really get the "feeling" of being at a rooftop bar.
