Charcuterie.. The accompaniments were amazing !!

If you knew me, you would know how much I am EXTREMELY picky and a "Plain Jane" when it comes to food. Well... Asado Life in St Augustine blew me away. The ambience, service, view and food were a 10 plus!!! My top 2 in Florida since I've lived here for sure!! I went beyond my "safe" and "plain" and was so happy I did !! So so so good!!!

The food yum and the service was phenomenal. We had the Asado trio. It was great. The steak was cooked to perfection but the chicken was a little burned. We also ordered the Thursday special, the wagyu Rueben sandwich. I would come back on a Thursday just for this. The house made sauerkraut was great and not over powering. Elizabeth was our server and made great recommendations. Our view was beautiful! Typical weather here, we had some rain come through and they quickly rolled the screens down cause we dined outside. We had our toddlers with us and it was a very pleasant experience! The staff was very accommodating to our 3 year old and 1 year old. We will definitely be back but next time we may just do a date night vs a family lunch!

Excellent. The olive oil cake was my fav. The chorizo was cold. The beef wasn't that hot either. But the flavors were amazing. Very good. I'd go back!! Cool place.

I ended my recent St Augustine staycation with lunch at Asado Life. The interior is stunning, totally my vibe & the outdoor patio areas were equally impressive. I love that they have a grab-and-go selection of meals, sandwiches, sides, and more within the restaurant. I ordered the Al Pastor Margarita and my server told me it was one of their most popular cocktails. After my first sip, I completely understood why. It's crafted with blanco tequila, lime and pineapple agave, Asado Orange Bitters (available for purchase), smoked salt rim, and a grilled pineapple garnish. For my entree, I went with the Asado Trio which includes picanha steak, house-made chorizo, and a signature-spiced chicken thigh. The steak and chorizo were both good, but I have to tell you - the chicken was the star of the show for me which I wasn't expecting. It was so moist and flavorful. Since I eat mostly chicken at home, it's never my first choice of protein when I'm dining out. That should tell you how wowed I was by Asado Life's chicken. The entree came with a house salad which was a very generous size. I really enjoyed their house vinaigrette and the toasted breadcrumbs. The potato salad side was a bit of a miss for me. I did not eat the peppers that came on it which certainly would have added some flavor. It was not bad but needed some seasoning and salt. In retrospect, I should have asked for some of the chimichurri used on the meat trio to add to it. Service was one of the highlights of the meal. My main server Stephanie was great and the servers worked well as a team. I had two different servers deliver my cocktail and then my salad, and everyone was genuinely friendly. I'm excited that they are opening a location in Jax later this year.

I love this place. I had the chapa rice special, it was awesome. The langostinos were such a surprise when we were told it had shrimp on top. They were fresh and cooked perfectly. The mini choripans were incredible, I'd go there just for that as a meal every day if I lived closer. My husband liked his French dip but it didn't blow our minds like the other two. Service was great. Such a great vibe and well decorated

Excellent lunch. We enjoyed cocktails- Margaritas, Choripan appetizers. Wow! Flavor! asado bowl with chicken thighs. Amazing fresh flavor and a Cuban sandwich. Best I've ever had. Desert treated ourselves to an amazing Key lime pie! Service is always so fun kind attentive and we love eating v outdoors to enjoy the view of the shipyard and marsh! Asadolife has become one of our Favorite dining experiences!

Tomahawk steak 40 OZ with broccoli and potatoes. (MUST PRE-ORDER the day before) The steak was excellent. Broccoli was good. Potatoes were excellent. All of that is with the steak meal. We bought extra some Fries. More like quarter huge potatoes that were fried crispy. Super good!!! Would recommend them. Overall highly recommend this restaurant!

Great food, great service, beautiful view! Started with the provoleta and focaccia. Both delicious and perfectly flavored. We had a house and caesar salad and both were good (but the house won imo). I had the filet and my husband got the trio. Filet was perfect temp and well seasoned. The chicken on the trio was great, but the steak was undercooked (ordered medium but received med rare) and didn't care for the flavor of the chorizo. We shared the olive oil cake and it was delicious. We'll definitely be back!

The food is spectacular we started withe the broccoli cheddar/potato soup. And then the steak and gorgonzola sandwich. Service from Stephanie is always amazing. When she is not here we ask for Rose or Matthew but they are all great. The ambiance is somewhat casual at lunch time. Highly suggest specialty drinks as the bartenders are amazing. And don't forget the shop to take to go items The potato salad and the manchego cheese with chimichurri is great for a snack at night.

Literally one of my favorite meals ever. Appetizer: Sesame Ginger Beef Tips. Tender, savory, with that perfect sweet ginger kick. The sauce is perfect for dipping. Main: Braised Short Ribs with the enhancement Asado Magnifico. Rich, fall off the bone perfection! And let's talk about the bread. A must. Warm, soft, and paired with the best butter. I could have made a meal out of that alone. Nash made the whole night even better with amazing service

'Asado' which means either barbecue or roast in Español very well fits this awesome new spot we visited for dinner last night as we had great drinks such as the Gingerbread Old Fashioned and the Witch Brew that was perfect for the cold evening. The appetizers are delicious, the Chorizo Pan and the Sriracha Shrimp was so good, that we did empty the plates as the seasoning was well prepared. For the main course, we had the Asado Trio for less than $40 and it is a combination of Lean Steak, Sausage. Chicken and servings of potatoes and veggies. This reminded me of my traveling days in Argentina as the meats and spices are prepared like this and yep, everything was finished, Burp! Muchas Gracias to our server Nick for the recommendations and to the rest of the crew for the lovely evening. We will definitely be back to try the lunch menu! Also, the view from this place is nice, away from the touristy spot of St. Augustine, plus you can walk around and bring your dogs here as they are very pet-friendly. Oh yeah, they have a market too and alcohol-tasting rooms that can be reserved for guests :)

Asado Life was the perfect Saturday lunch spot. My husband and I went in with high hopes...and left very full and very happy. We both ordered the Asado Trio (steak, chicken, and sausage) and wow. The steak was cooked perfectly... juicy, flavorful, no notes. The sausage was packed with flavor and honestly might've been my favorite bite. And the chicken? I almost never order chicken when I'm out, but this completely changed my mind. Perfectly seasoned, super tender, and genuinely delicious. Did not expect that. We had side Caesar salads and I have to mention the crushed croutons because they deserve their moment. Crunch in every bite and no awkwardly large crouton situation. Cocktails were great, service was friendly and on point, and the ambiance really seals the deal. Add a water view and it's the kind of place you want to sit, sip, and not rush through your meal. All around, a solid win. Top level quality that consistently delivers. We'll definitely be back, and I'm already thinking about that trio again.

Went out for a friend's birthday as a table of 9 and the server was very accommodating and had everything right! As a vegetarian I didn't think this would be a great pick for me but the appetizers (vegetable plate, focaccia) and meal (Asado bowl) I had were delicious and every element was flavorful! Cocktails are delicious too, I had a perfect Hugo spritz! We preordered a tomahawk steak for the table and it truly was an experience. I of course didn't eat it but everyone raved about it. Views outside are amazing too, right along the river. I highly recommend for a fancy night out!

What should have been a pleasant dining experience turned into an extremely stressful and disappointing situation due to the unprofessional conduct of the manager on duty, Ms. Kale. Upon arrival, my family and I were instructed to wait outside, which we did patiently for nearly an hour. Despite this long wait, we were then seated in an extremely crowded area with no regard for comfort, space, or safety. This lack of organization created significant stress for us, especially given my current recovery from a broken femur and hip. Additionally, my elderly mother, who flew from another country to visit us, and my four children -- including one with special needs -- were placed in an environment that was unnecessarily overwhelming and preventable with proper management. What made the situation far worse, however, was the behavior of Ms. Kale. When we voiced our concerns politely, she responded with unacceptable rudeness. Instead of offering a professional apology or attempting to correct the situation, she dismissed our concerns and even laughed in our faces. This reaction was not only unprofessional but deeply disrespectful. It reflected a complete lack of leadership, empathy, and customer-care standards. It is clear that this location is focused on bringing in as many guests as possible for profit, yet management is failing to properly coordinate seating, resulting in overcrowding and poor guest experiences. A manager's role is to ensure smooth operations and address issues respectfully -- something that was clearly lacking under Ms. Kale's supervision. I hope that this complaint is taken seriously, as no family should be treated in this manner. I request that appropriate action be taken to address the behavior of the manager and to improve the overall management practices at this location. Thank you for your attention. I look forward to you seeing seeing to help improvements implemented so that other guests do not experience what we did.

They were very good, but they are a large order so definitely be prepared to share. I also got a cup of their beer cheese soup - I would not order it again. I am visiting from out of town and, after hearing so many rave reviews, was excited to get to visit…read morethe Floridian tonight. We were seated in a large dining area with soft lighting. Our booth was next to a wall with several paintings containing various sailboats. As I looked at the menu, I realized there were several tasty looking options. The burger had pimento cheese which sounded AWESOME. Man. My mouth was watering just thinking about it. Came with a free side too. But another menu item caught my eye. A dish called the "N'Waffles." This is where things took a sharp turn. I began going back and forth in my mind - weighing the potential pros and cons of each dish. The burger was, well, a burger. And the "N'Waffles" was cornbread and meat with ricotta. Sounded a bit more novel maybe? The waiter came back, and, when I am trying to decide between two things, I always impulsively order one of them at the last second. Before I even knew what I had decided, I heard "N'Waffles" coming out of my mouth. No one talks about how weird it feels to say that word out loud, by the way. I asked the waiter if I should get chicken or pork BBQ. After hesitating for a second, he said the pork. So, I went with the pork. He walked away, and I was flooded with regret. Should I have ordered the burger? Should I have got the chicken? Could I track down the waiter and revise my order? Instead, I silently accepted my fate. As I was waiting, I felt a foreign object in my eye. I blinked and blinked but to no avail. I had to go to the bathroom three times to try to rinse it out. Each time, I accidentally bumped into the table of this couple sitting next to us. Nice bathroom, but not great lighting for trying to get something out of your eye. Never did get it out. The "N'Waffles" arrived at our table. I looked down to a pile of meat on a waffle, all covered in copious amounts of sauce. I mean no offense to the institution, because I actually like it, but it did not look appetizing. It also smelled like a wet dog. I grimaced and tried to remain positive. My stomach growled as I thought about that delicious burger...pimento cheese...green tomato..mmm. But that's not what I was eating - I was eating a pile of meat drowned in sauce on a cornbread waffle. Listen. I know some people like stuff like this, but it's just not for me. Even though I had something stuck in my eye and I had slop on a waffle for dinner, I still had a great time. The waiter was nice. They were playing some good indie music which I appreciated. I liked the sailboats on the walls. And I bet that burger was gooood. All in all though, I left a bit disappointed. Disappointed, but determined. Determined to learn from my mistakes. Listen kids, don't second guess yourself. Go with what your gut tells you first and don't change it. This is true for multiple choice questions, relationships, and food choices. You know what you want more than you realize. And maybe don't order something called the "N'Waffles." I would still recommend this place. You should totally go.

The service was excellent, and the food has that fresh, thoughtful, farm-to-table feel where you can tell care is going into what comes out of the kitchen. For me, one of the biggest highlights was how seriously they take gluten-free dining. I had warm, made-from-scratch gluten-free biscuits with pork belly and a peach bourbon jam, and oh my goodness -- absolutely to die for. Everyone at the table enjoyed them. It is not often that you find a gluten-free biscuit that feels like you are getting the full experience rather than settling for an alternative. I was also impressed by how many gluten-free options they offer. Even their po' boy can be battered with rice flour. Our waiter explained that the chef is gluten-free and that they are very mindful of guests with celiac disease, including separating food preparation when needed. That level of care is a huge plus. And it wasn't just the gluten-free food that impressed us. One friend ordered the meatloaf sandwich and received a seriously hearty piece of meatloaf. My husband had the BLT with pimento cheese on thick sourdough bread, and it was excellent. We also heard that the chicken and waffles, offered during dinner, are a must-try -- so that may be calling us back! The cocktail menu was another win. The drinks were creative, original, flavorful, and clearly thoughtfully crafted rather than just the standard options you see everywhere. Everyone in our group seemed genuinely happy with what they ordered, which says a lot. Beautiful atmosphere, excellent service, creative drinks, fantastic food, and some of the best gluten-free options I've come across. Five stars all the way. I would absolutely return to The Floridian and work my way through more of that gluten-free menu!

Our server was top notch, knowledgeable, helpful, friendly but not trying to monopolize our table talk. We started with Cocktails which were all great. I went classic Old Fashioned, presentation AND taste were on point. We split the Crab Beignets order of 4. The breading on them was light and fluffy, the Crab tasty and they were cooked appropriately, no burns or underdone spots. For our main course, we elected to split 2 of the specials of the day so they may not be there when you go, but judging by the quality of the specials, any dish would be great. We had the Caesar Salad (which is like calling the Queen Mary2 a "boat"!). It is next level, 7 minute eggs, homemade croutons, Anchovie forward, all good! We also split an order of Shrimp Cake Sliders. These were huge, and the slaw that accompanied was the perfect match to the shrimp without overwhelming them. For dessert we settled on the Pineapple cake which also had coconut and all kinds of wonderful flavors going on! A really outstanding meal from beginning to end!

Renee was our server and treated us to a complimentary champagne for the occasion. She explained the menu and the specials. The Chefs Dinner Menu was fascinating, but unfortunately, I don't eat lamb. The menu changes frequently, so I'll definitely check it out again in the future and pair it with the optional Sommelier's wine pairing. There are so many wonderful choices, but I finally decided on the Bouillabaisse, remembering all the positive comments on Yelp. When my order arrived, it was presented on a large platter with a gorgeous display. It tasted as good as it looked, with the lobster eyes staring at me. It was a whole lobster, conveniently cut, which made it easier to eat. The combination of lobster, shrimp, mussels, and clams in a saffron-flavored broth was amazing. I'm so glad I chose it. My husband opted for the Steak au Poivre with Pomme Aligot. It's mashed potatoes with melted cheese, butter, and cream. The texture was a bit tougher than regular mashed potatoes, but still delicious. I tasted his filet, and it was so tender. He loves the poivre sauce on his steak. Renee recommended all the wines we picked. We started with the complimentary Frederic Chopin Brut Blanc de Blanc, and we really liked it, so we ordered more. For my meal, I had the Barbebelle Rosé, and my husband had the Peyrassol Merlot Syrah blend. Both wines complemented our meal perfectly. We did run into an issue with my Bouillabaisse, as it was a bit too salty. The manager, Parnos, came and apologized and had the chef prepare a new batch for me. They fixed the problem right away. I'm really impressed with the service, the amazing food, and the beautiful restaurant that's now La Nouvelle. They even gave me an amazing dessert with a birthday candle for free! It had a chocolate center, a crispy crust, whipped cream topping with chocolate morsels. La Nouvelle was outstanding in so many ways, making my birthday super special.

We started with the Chili-Lime Shrimp, and that dish alone set the bar high. The shrimp were perfectly cooked and coated in a spicy chili-lime garlic sauce that had just the right kick. The miso butter emulsion and sweet soy tied everything together with a rich, slightly sweet finish. The Poke Tuna was fresh and vibrant--sashimi-grade ahi tossed in a cashew-citrus ponzu with red onion, cucumber, and seaweed salad. The fried wontons added a nice crunch that balanced the dish beautifully. The Mediterranean Pizza was a pleasant surprise. The combination of green olives, spinach, roasted red peppers, artichoke hearts, goat cheese, and garlic worked really well together on a crisp crust, giving you a savory bite with a hint of tang. The Surf & Turf Fried Rice brought bold flavors to the table. Tender beef tips and shrimp sauteed in a spicy chili glaze over vegetable fried rice, finished with fried garlic, chili oil, miso butter, and sweet soy--it was rich, flavorful, and very satisfying. The Beef Tenderloin was cooked just right--tender and juicy--paired with creamy mashed potatoes, seasonal vegetables, and a decadent truffle sauce that elevated the whole dish. Beyond the food, the service truly stands out--warm, friendly, and genuinely welcoming, making you feel taken care of throughout the entire meal. They also offer an excellent selection of wines, beers, and spirits, along with a solid dessert lineup that's worth saving room for. To top it all off, there's plenty of parking available, which is always a bonus in a busy dining area. Overall, this place nails the balance between great food, inviting service, and a fun, energetic atmosphere. Definitely a spot you'll want to revisit.

Even though it sounds rather stuffy, this is a very friendly and welcoming place. Our meal and the whole experience was amazing! Professional, yet friendly staff and our waitress was wonderful! Cozy, yet elegant dining areas. We started with bread with roasted garlic cloves and basil oil. Had an appetizer of prosciutto wrapped scallops and potatoes (Scallop Saltimbocca). I had their special of pan seared redfish and my husband had the wild mushroom pasta. We were served raspberry sorbet as a palate cleanser before the entree. Finished with rum cake we shared that they graciously split in half portions for us. All in all, it was a wonderful dining experience!
