Decent happy hour specials and great Illy's coffee in the mornings! Lines for coffee can be long if there is a convention at the hotel so plan ahead. They offer some great grab-and-go options for breakfast and lunch.

After a semi let down at an Atlas restaurant we walked to here for drinks. Happy Hour Orange Crush on a Sunday and a Dirty Martini was ordered. It was quire empty with it being football Sunday. The drinks did nor hit and we were charged extra. Two drinks and 1 was happy hour $9. Bill $36. No justification. This isnt our first time here but need less to say, not a fan. But we were able to see some NFL games.

This hotel restaurant serves excellent breakfast. I ordered egg benedict and it was prepared to perfection; rightly cooked, with elegant sauce and fine, soft muffin. The tasty and crispy hash brown complemented the enjoyment. Friendly service and nice decoration mixing classic and modern styles.

Clean. Great serving sizes. Feeling and delectable. Don't allow yourself to miss the buffet. I'm not a buffet person...but there's (offerings, cleanliness and taste) IS the exception. Waitstaff provides impeccable service; prompt, attentive and accommodating.

I've visited Apropoe's on a few occasions. Typically, it's a satisfying experience; however, this particular visit was a bit disappointing. We stopped in for a cocktail while in the area. We saddled up at the bar and ordered a Dirty Martini and an Orange Crush. While the martini was good, the $19 price point was a bit surprising. As for the Orange Crush... it was HUGE disappointment. Made with Smirnoff and concentrated orange juice, it's an insult to this Maryland staple. Service was cool. Atmosphere is A+, definitely a cool place to chill or watch a game.

Sat at the bar and had one of the best reuben sandwiches I've ever! I requested it without thousand island. It came with fries and was so yummy! I also tried an espresso martini and it was good! This restaurant/bar is located inside the Baltimore Marriott Waterfront hotel! I was doing an overnight stay at the hotel so this was very convenient. I browsed their happy hour and brunch menus. The Ravens had just won the game against the Steelers so there were alot of happy fans at the bar. Go Ravens! When I initially sat down I was ignored by the bartender. She saw me and didn't acknowledge me at all. Dion came over and saved the day! He was friendly and attentive. Thank you Dion! I would definitely visit here again!

Large open restaurant in the lobby of the Waterfront Marriott. Great decor and ambiance and surprisingly quiet for as large and open of an area it is in. Waterfront views available. Reasonable pricing for being in a hotel. Vegetarian options on their menu that were flavorful and filling. Friendly server who was attentive with a plethora of tables during a conference week. I often don't look forward to dining in the hotel- so this was a pleasant and welcome surprise.

While staying here I tried out the dinner and breakfast menus. I definitely preferred breakfast. There was nothing wrong with dinner and service was good. Dinner was crab chowder and a crab cake sandwich. I polished off the chowder happily. The sandwich was a little too basic and full of filler. I didn't expect Baltimore's best at a hotel. But it was still decent. However the Chesapeake omelette the next morning was phenomenal. Much better crab flavor in that. As Meatloaf said. Two out of three ain't bad.

The best part of my experience was the waiter. He was very attentive, knowledgeable about the menu, knew whether or not we could customize certain items, water was always filled, extra napkins, just over great. Started with crab soup and chowder. Both were tasty with just enough spice. I was able to get the chowder without bacon. The double fried wings were good but nothing to brag about. The Mumbo sauce was very basic. Just tasted like BBQ. The scallops were good, the sauce they came in was sweet, but made the dish. The rigatoni was decent, subbed the sausage for chicken. No complaints. Overall, the food was good, but not great.

I took a friend to Apropoe's back in September when we went to a concert down in the Baltimore Inner Harbor. The restaurant is conveniently located in the Baltimore Marriott so walking to the music venue (MECU Pavilion and used to be called Pier 6) was a breeze. The place was nice! Very clean with a friendly staff. I WISH I remember the name of our server because they were literally one of the nicest people Ive ever met. All I remember is that they love Missy Elliot, which warrants massive respect. The food was also good! We enjoyed our meal, and drinks, and were able to get in and out just in time for our concert! What we ordered: -Tacos -Burger -Old Fashioned

    Belgium waffle

My friend and I were staying at the Marriot Hotel for a conference and Apropoe's was our constant because of their location, menu, and service. The restaurant built into the hotel has a nice bar/ fast breakfast/snack area and the relooks out on the harbor. My friend has food allergies and staff were very attentive in the restaurant and in the banquet area. For the few days we were there, she had no reactions, which she was very afraid of having. They even made specific meals for her to allow her to avoid certain ingredients that she's allergic to. Chef Mila and waiter Ramin were exceptional. Thank you to the staff who really listened and provided exceptional service!

Located on the top level of Crossbar Biergarten, The Wurst is a true hidden gem. You would never know it was there unless someone told you. The entrance is literally a walk-in freezer door just to the left of the stairs on the second floor, which adds to the fun speakeasy feel. We stopped in for pregame drinks before a nearby Yelp Elite event, and it did not disappoint. We were the only ones in the bar, and our bartender was fantastic, quick, friendly, and clearly knew his craft. I ordered a Paper Plane, a whiskey based cocktail with Aperol, lemon, and Amaro Nonino. It was perfectly balanced and the ideal drink to have after work. My fiancée ordered the Pornstar Martini, which she became very familiar with during a recent trip to Paris. The Wurst's version was a bit unorthodox since they serve the champagne on the side instead of as a floater on top. Not a negative, just different, and more of a deconstructed approach that some might treat like a chaser. Overall, The Wurst is a really cool concept bar that feels unlike anything else in Federal Hill. Between the hidden entrance, relaxed atmosphere, and quality drinks, it is definitely worth checking out if you enjoy creative cocktails and a good story to go with them.

Given my experience with DC and other parts of MD, I was determined to contact them ahead of time and make sure I would have a spot for brunch. But after some contact on IG, they said it's just walk-ins and I would most likely get a table with no effort or wait. I was concerned... but they were right! So we got settled immediately and started ordering. Our gracious server asked for drinks, which have a bottomless option during brunch. We could pick from mimosas, crushes, sangria and bloody marys. I tried everything but the bloody marys, and while they were good, whew there was a lot of ice in the mimosa... I'm not used to ice there, so it threw me off but it was still good! The REAL highlight was the food... the item I got changed my life: Crab. Cake. Eggrolls. They came with this amazing sweet chili sauce and were so filling and delicious! I also got chicken & waffle sliders to go that had a nice kick and the waffle texture was great! My cousin enjoyed his food as well. Also, shout out to the bagel wall that's on the way to the bathroom. It had great options and all the fixings! If I wasn't full I would've gotten one myself. I will return here for brunch.

They offered a variety of items: deviled eggs, scrambled eggs, chicken and waffles, beef and chorizo quesadillas, sausage, home fries, and French toast. They advertised fruit salad on the menu but they didn't have it out on the day we went. For starters, the food was lukewarm. Everything could have tasted so much better if it was warm. Even when they would refill the pans, everything was still not warm enough. The restaurant was not packed but they were slow to refill for the parties that were there. When we tried to go back for a second plate, most of the items weren't replenished and the line was getting longer. It was so bad that one group asked to pay for their drinks and leave because they weren't able to get any food. My option of each item: Deviled eggs- yolk mixture was on the drier side and bland Scrambled eggs- they were ok. Just needed to be warm Chicken and waffles- it was giving "chicken tender on eggo waffle" chicken was better than the bland waffle. It also didn't help that the syrup they had was cold and thick. It made the waffle (and French toast) colder and hard to swallow. French toast- the first batch was (with the exception of being cold) perfectly cooked and dusted with cinnamon and powdered sugar. The refill batches were so burnt and hard to chew and they didn't bother putting powdered sugar on them. Again, the cold syrup didn't help. Beef and chorizo quesadillas- they may have been a crowd favorite because getting a second serving was hard because they kept going quickly and took a while to replenish. They just needed to be warmer and served with sour cream. Home fries- great with the peppers and onions. Just need to be warmer. Sausage- my least favorite thing because it didn't taste like Sausage. It was very dry. Sadly, the food was a epic fail. This may be a great place for cocktails because the bartender mixed our margaritas perfectly. They had a Build Your Own Margarita menu with many different flavor options. I opted for the watermelon margarita with a Tajin rim. Delicious! My friend had a pineapple mango margarita with sugar rim and he was impressed also. The drinks earned them an extra star because otherwise, I think the food and the slow refilling of the buffet earned it 2 stars.
