Crab Cakes
Alex B.

Delicious! The crab cakes were fresh and full of flavor. The night before, I went to a popular restaurant known for their crab cakes and my food was tasty. But guess what?! The crab cakes at Bistro 300 were TEN TIMES better due to the presentation and the flavor. I was shocked! And the crab cakes were half the price. Excellent quality. I also got the crab flat bread and it was phenomenal. Delicious food and excellent service. The ambiance was decent but the food made up for that.

Steak omelet

This place was interesting. Came for our free breakfast with our status. But I honestly would not have come here if it wasn't included. You order your food at the front, Tip was included in the bill already. They give you a number and you sit wherever you want. They deliver the food to you when it's ready. I ordered blueberry pancakes, but got chocolate chip pancakes instead. Due to our lack of time, i decided to just stick with it. But I was honestly very surprised, the package texture was really nice and fluffy. I didn't enjoy the chocolate chips as much but if it had been blueberries I think i would have really enjoyed it. The steak omelet was very simple. Not a lot of flavor and needed a lot of Tobasco sauce. But overall, ok. The croissant was really bad... stay away from it. Super stale. it says they make it there....I pretty sure they don't. The staff gave us generous pours of champagne in our mimosa and vodka in the bloody mary. Staff members were very nice and most were wearing masks. But they really got to work on their food quality if they're charging this much for the food.

We stayed at the Hyatt Regency on Light St. We ate Brea at their Bistro 300 Restaurant. We ordered some coffee for starters. Black coffee, excellent! Our server/waitress came right away , she recommended the Crab Benny and Omelette. Our food came out fast and beautiful! Food tasted excellent! Service was great! I highly recommend this restaurant. I want to try their dinner too!

Amazing chicken and waffles and eggs benedict

Eggs Benedict was excellent, but the chicken and waffles were spot on. It was a good portion and well seasoned. The Bellini that my wife received was well flavored with light peach taste. My ice coffee with almond milk was excellent!

Wow! Some of the best hotel food ever. Seriously, I had no problem dining here 3 out of the 4 nights I was here. I had breakfast one morning, pretty good! I didn't enjoy the chicken sausage links but the eggs and hashbrowns were yummy. The coffee was pretty good too! Very strong and had a nutty flavor to it. That was about $20. Not too bad for breakfast. They also offer a buffet for breakfast which I didn't get to try. The dinner was so good! One night I had the crab cake sandwich, which is not on the dinner menu, it was fantastic! The remoulade sauce with it was a perfect addition. The fries, perfect. I also had the macaroni and cheese with my Yelp check in offer. It was verrrry cheesy and tasty, but not the best macaroni. My last night I had the burger. Which is not on the dinner menu, it's on the late night menu. Cooked to perfection and so juicy! I so enjoyed sitting in the bar area while I ate too. Some pretty good people watching too! If you notice, most of what I ordered was not on the menu. The staff went above and beyond every, single, time! Service was impeccable! Really. I also enjoyed the skinny margarita's. Very strong and only $10 bucks. The only negative, one of the bartenders blew her nose several times and did not wash them before returning to make drinks. I mean, I was floored. That night I didn't order anything additional after I saw that. That's not a good look or good hygiene practices. So I took off one star for that.

New York

What a diamond in the rough! Wanted to get a late breakfast and strolled downstairs from my room at the Hyatt Regency to Bistro 300. Yelp offered a free appetizer with the purchase of a regular priced meal, so that was yelptastic! The seating area was modern and the place was empty since it was the midday. I didn't mind that since I wanted some alone time. I ordered the spinach and Brie cheese omelet with fresh fruit and for the free appetizer, I ordered the crab cakes. The omelet was amazingly good. Fluffy and cooked perfectly. When you cut into the omelet, the Brie cheese just oozes out like liquified mana flowing down from the heavens above! Very delicious and the spinach is a nice addition to give you that healthy factor. Lol. The crab cakes stole the show though. The breading was the right amount, not too much and but just enough. Soft, yet firm. When I cut into it, huge pieces of real crab meat were displayed and it was like a little kid breaking a piñata and seeing the candy spill out. The crab was seasoned well and just tasted good. It was accompanied with guacamole and it was a nice pairing. Definitely complimented the crab cakes. These crab cakes were very delicious and the next time I'm in Baltimore, I'm gonna visit Bistro 33 for their crab cakes. I hope they don't change the recipe. This paragraph represents my update: Just returned from overseas and we stayed at the Hyatt Inner Harbor again. Chris at the front desk is amazing and made are brief stay memorable. His service, and awesome attitude was best! Hit up Bistro 300 bar on the third floor for some drinks and grub. Had the New York cooked medium with broccolini and the steak was cooked perfectly. The broccolini was crisp but not a soft or soggy and the meal was a huge hit. The bartender, who was a beautiful Filipina (forgot her name), poured our drinks perfectly and never let us sit with an empty glass. Will definitely return to this hotel!

Walked in to grab something light to eat. The only option; serviceable but unremarkable buffet. Thirty eight dollars. No other option.

Starting with the food, everything is quality, with clean and fresh ingredients and an awesome menu with everything from burgers to breakfast sandwiches. The fries are great. The space is awesome. The downstairs is nice and eclectic, lively with great energy and the upstairs is a great place to get stuff done, quiet, comfortable, spacious. Cool couches and decorations that make you really feel like you're in a historic part of Baltimore. The staff is probably one of the best parts. I met the owner, Nikki, who's an absolute gem, gracious, kind and welcoming. The staff is super friendly and accomodating. Mike is great, really friendly and helpful. This place is definitely one of the best cafes I've ever been to and I've been to hundreds between NY, LA, and Miami... If you want a cool place to come hang out, potentially meet new people, and enjoy a great coffee, this is it. If you want a place where you can get work done comfortably and stay for a while, I highly recommend it.

Even though it was a Saturday we were able to find a spot to sit, and the decor was really fun. There's upstairs seating that seemed a little quieter too. I ordered the Darwin on an Asiago bagel. I wish there was more Brie cheese on it, but it was really good overall. The apple jam was a nice sweet touch. My bagel also came with a side of fruit and a hash brown. The hash brown was a little undercooked for me though. I also got a coco cocoa cold brew, which was a chocolate cold brew with coconut cold foam. It had coconut flakes on it so I had to chew each time I took a sip, and I didn't really taste any chocolate. The cold brew itself was good though, bold and not grainy at all. It was a little loud in the cafe due to all the people, but I had a great time anyway. I'll definitely be back if I need a cute brunch spot or a coffee pick-me-up!

I walked over with my friend, who lives nearby, and we brought my dog along. Morning Mugs made all of us feel right at home. Dogs are totally welcome on the patio, and there's even a pup cup station inside so your furry friends can indulge too. Mine was thrilled. Inside, the vibe is super inviting. It's the kind of café that clearly cares about regulars and newcomers alike. The barista recommended their famous Banana Bread Latte, and I had to try it. WOW a true 10/10! The banana flavor is real, not artificial, and it pairs perfectly with espresso. I also ordered the Breakfast Sandwich, which was served on a flaky, buttery croissant, layered with sausage, fluffy scrambled eggs, and sharp cheddar. Pro tip: order a side of their lime crema for dipping ... it was honestly incredible and tied all the flavors together. I loved it so much that I came back the next morning before heading back to Virginia Beach (couldn't resist). This time, I tried the Blueberry Cookie Butter Latte .... absolutely amazing. It's creamy, subtly sweet, and a fun, unique twist I haven't seen anywhere else. Another huge plus: the owner is extremely friendly. On my first visit, he even brought down the big bear mascot so my friend's kid could give it a hug, which totally made the morning. This is the kind of neighborhood spot you wish you had at home: super welcoming, dog-friendly, and clearly passionate about great drinks and community. Highly recommend a visit, whether you're local or just passing through!

Friendly staff and fast service. You cannot reserve ahead but my boyfriend and I were seated immediately because they had a table which just opened for 2. Not sure of the wait time outside of this experience. The decor is very 80s rock coded with a few movie classics along the way. I loved some of the artwork and every detail that they put into designing this place. Coffee: brewed nice and strong Stars of the food show: Sweet Baby Jesus: A burst of sweet and savory crab chunks sprinkled with old bay in every bite. The tomatoes were a refreshing break as your taste buds were recuperating from all of the savory melted cheese, hollandaise sauce, crispy hash browns, and delicious eggs. It's large enough to share but toooo good to want to share lol I thoroughly enjoyed this. Captain Crunch French Toast: This was the BEST French toast I've ever had. It's layers of goodness starting with fresh fruits on the top (blackberries, strawberries, and green apples). Next, fresh whipped cream. Then you move on to the perfectly crusted French toast and the captain crunch pieces sprinkled throughout the plate. I didn't need any syrup at all because it was sweet enough. But this was an amazing dish! My boyfriend and I did share this because it was shareable and we both wanted to indulge in it while enjoying our individual meals. I'm immediately planning our next visit to this place-definitely worth it.
