We go here several times a year. We normally take the food home and I can honestly say with the Chicken Souvlaki platter it is enough for two meals. The mushroom burger is enough for one person also unless you want leftovers or have a big appetite. We haven't tried anything else because we really like these items and don't want to try anything else from there. The service at this location is frequently subpar. They outdid themselves on my most recent visit. I ordered the breakfast platter, a simple order with bacon, hash browns and eggs over medium. I then waited for a half hour in a virtually empty restaurant (five other customers). When they finally called my number, the eggs were scrambled instead of over medium as it said on the ticket. When I pointed out the error, they simply called the number of the guy who came in a while after me. He said he ordered eggs over medium too, but was willing to eat the scrambled eggs, so he took my plate and I was left to wait for an entirely new plate. Rather than prioritize the order they messed up, they left me standing there while the cook prepared order after order that came in after me, apparently moving me to the back of the line. After 45 minutes, with my eggs not even on the grill, which I could see clearly from where I was standing, I asked for my money back and left. They refunded me the money for the platter, but not the tip I left when I paid initially. Terrible customer service. When you mess up an order, you prioritize fixing that order before you do other orders. That's customer service 101. Apollo Burger employees need better training. read more

I got the Rueben sandwich with onion rings. The Rueben was delicious. It had a generous amount of pastrami and sauerkraut in between toasted rye bread with thousand island dressing. It was so good. I was a little disappointed in the onion rings, they were just typical frozen rings, not homemade, but they were good. The fry sauce is made with barbeque and is pretty good. Not a Good experience. The food is just like Crown Burger and Burger Supreme. The burgers are pretty tasteless. I don't care for the fries I prefer shoe string fries not Potato wedges. The small drink was about the size of a water cup at most places. The thing that gets me is that it's more expensive that most Burger places. Not worth it when there are many other good places in the area that are less expensive and have flavorful Burgers. read more

I love this burger place! Restaurant style fries, milkshakes, onion rings, and burgers! I absolutely love the bacon cheeseburger with an Oreo shake and onion rings. It is BOMB! They have the best fry sauce. Price is a little higher than what you'd find at a Carl's Jr or In-n-out, but you're getting an infinitely better quality burger. The burgers aren't smashed--they're nice and beefy. And the onion rings are so crunchy and fried perfectly. Really great seasoning. I had heard good reviews about Apollo Burgers in Orem, so I decided to check it out. Unfortunately, I was disappointed in my experience. I got one of their basic Apollo Burgers, which I regretted. The burger patty was way past overcooked, there was a big chunk of bitter white lettuce on it, the tomato was NOT ripe and it came slathered in my least favorite Utah invention--fry sauce. (Really, it's just a mix of mayo, ketchup and season-all...what's the big deal?) Anyhow, I was completely unimpressed by the burger. As for the fries, they were bland, under cooked and over-salted. The pop (I had Coke) was improperly mixed and tasted too sweet. The dispenser had obviously not been brixed for some time. The interior was drab, dim and run-down. The booth I sat in was rickety, and the seat leaned towards the aisle. As far as the staff, they all looked completely disinterested in their jobs, and their body language clearly stated that they'd rather be elsewhere. For a fairly pricey meal, I was expecting better quality, better service and more of a memorable experience. I doubt I'll go there again. Over the years I have been consistently going to apollo burger around once a month. The golden burger is easily my favorite sandwich on the menu but where apollo really shines is the fries. Every time I go there I get the Jr. Apollo Burger combo. It is like $6 and you get fries and a drink with it for about 50 cent more than a normal Apollo Burger. I am a huge fan of Apollo Burger and especially of this location. The employees are super nice and will fill up your drinks and bring your food to you. read more

The food is really good and they usually get the order correct. However, I am responsible for getting breakfast for 10-12 of my coworkers every Saturday morning. I love getting Apollo's breakfast platter when I can but lately I've been forced to go elsewhere because one of their employees apparently can't get to work on time so they can't fulfill my order. I call at 7am to give them plenty of time and I know it is doable because they used to do it all the time. Now I call ten to fifteen minutes later and I'm told that they have to wait for the other employee to show up. I know hiring responsible fast food workers can be a challenge but this person is literally late every Saturday. Maybe don't open at 7am if you can't serve people at 7am! read more

Whenever I have a hankering for a burger at work and am sick of Wendy's, I love to come here. Apollo Burger is the exact same thing as Burger Supreme and so good. The burgers are really good size, and somehow they make fry sauce that I actually enjoy on my burger. A cheeseburger meal costs around $5.50, but they always give you a bunch of fries, which, I found today, they changed from soggy steak-type fries to crinkle fries. While I'm not the biggest fan of the crinkles, these are way crispier than the fries they had before and make me feel better about biting into one and not having to taste the grease more than the potato...I was pleasantly surprised. It almost makes you forget you're eating deep-fried starch! My chief complaint about Apollo is that they put shredded lettuce on their burgers - not a strong point. But no matter, everything else is great, especially the fact that they serve cherry coke - a definite plus. I ate my meal several hours ago and am still satisfied...mmm...love it. The reason the burgers are so good? They're freshly charbroiled. But we're not talking charbroiled like Burger King does it; rather, this place actually does it right, and your burger is fresh...it hasn't been sitting on a tray waiting for you to order it - you've got to love that. It's right next door to Callie's Cafe which, if you see my review on that, you should know to stay away from - even though when I was in the drive thru at Apollo I saw a bunch of cars in the parking lot and some high-school looking kids leaving the place. They must have been lured with free alcohol from Moe's, the adjoining tavern, to enter that establishment...ick...never again....ANYWHO...go to Apollo's not Callie's. The only part of the structure I don't like is the drive thru. I don't think it was initially set up for much of a line in the drive thru, since there's no room for more than three cars to wait in the line without blocking traffic in the lot...but it doesn't sway me. I normally really like Apollo burger. Their hamburgers, gyros, and souvlaki are are really good. Our food was good, we just didn't get we ordered. I was with another person who paid Dutch, so we had 2 numbers at our table. Apparently that was too complicated. Even bringing up the receipt to confirm the order was wrong was too baffling for the employees. I still like Apollo burger and recommend their other locations, but I'll avoid this one in the future. read more

Apollo double charged my credit card and wouldn't refund the extra charge. How is that even possible? I talked to the person who answered the phone, I talked to the manager, and I even talked to the owner. Why do I have to talk to so many people over a measly $10? None of them thought it was a good idea to just give me my $10 back to keep me as a customer. They had me call them back numerous times. They had me call my bank. After taking all of their steps, they still kept my money. To me it makes sense to give someone $10 to keep them as a customer. Best bacon chessburger with fries there is available in Utah County. We have been to most all the hamburger joints in town. Apollo is the one we keep coming back to. They also have great salads which is usually what my wife gets. If you order the onion rings you will love them also but it's hard to eat them all. read more

I'd give them a zero if I could. Worst customer service I've ever seen. I waited 17 minutes in the drive up for a chicken stick then went in to see if they'd lost my order. I asked for the manager but supposedly the owner came out and started arguing with me. Seriously...instead of "I'm sorry you wasted a quarter tank of gas while waiting" I got "What do you want me to do about it?...and "you weren't waiting that long"...and I really was there that long...I'm not exaggerating. That was his response! If he really was the owner, then I don't see much hope for him surviving because his people skills and customer service are offensive. I live close to apollo burger in orem, but have never gone there before in the 4 yrs I've been in the area. I've thought about it sometimes, but have never tried it. Today, I decided to try it out and ordered 2 double cheeseburgers, large fries, and a drink. The fries REALLY filled me up! They were made of the highest quality and make the fries at In-and-Out taste like rotted banana peels in a garbage dumpster. If you like having fry sauce, then EAT INSIDE, because you can always have free refills of fry sauce while inside and you're going to need it for the fries! The char-broiled cheeseburgers make quite a meal! I could only manage to eat one before being completely stuffed and had to ask for a carry-out bag. The staff are very friendly, polite, and fast at food prep. The experience was so good, I had to go up and talk to the manager and THANK him for the food and his staff's service. I'm TOTALLY going back there some more next time, but will tend to order only enough food as I can finish! No wonder these guys stay in business! read more

My family came here to eat and first my husband found a hair in his burger and then I found one in my fry sauce cup and so I grabbed another cup with sauce in it and found another hair. I told the staff and all the said was I'll make you a new one and change with fry sauce. This is disgusting and a waste of 25 bucks. One hair i may understand but three is not ok. read more
