Oh Mr. Flay...how I've loved watching you over the years...dancing on the sacred Iron Chef cutting board after defeating Morimoto, Battke of the Food Network Stars, Beat Bobby Flay and sooo many more. I've been to his restaurant in Las Vegas, for the posh and sexy crowd. So when I noticed Bobby's Burgers popping up around the country I counted the days till one was close enough for me to try. So when I saw the Provo locale on a recent visit ...of course I HAD to stop. I downloaded the app and ordered ...the location was very sterile...I guess I was expecting something a little more personable like the man himself...but ok...what really matters is the burgers right? I don't mind paying $13+ for a burger but it better be tasty and worth the price. I got the Crunch Burger and Cheese Fries. The ingredients were definitely quality and I'm loving the buns they used. There were a bunch of signature sauces (that I had to sample...I mean BF loves his sauces and I wanted to see what he's working with) that were alright...just fancy Fry Sauce really. The burger was substantial for sure!! Love that it wasn't OVER seasoned like too many places do, to cover up inferior meat like a metaphorical dead body. It was almost perfect....the chips were beyond soggy....creating a not so appetizing texture...they were like the freeze dried potato slices you get in a box of Potato AuGratin. However once I got those off I was VERY impressed with my burger. All in all it wasn't bad and it was pretty cool after being a huge fan for years to try a Bobby Flay burger. read more

Incredibly underwhelming, and I'm very sad about it. I've wanted to come here for a long time now, and had high expectations with it being under the name of Bobby Flay. The Crunchburger was just not worth it though. It needed some variety and other flavors. I definitely don't need to order it again, and it didn't convince me to come back. Maybe the other burgers are better, but they cost $13. At least my Crunchburger was free, thanks to signing up for the app. read more

I ordered the Bacon Crunchburger, a side of fries, and a fountain drink. The burger was cooked perfectly medium and everything was fresh, but the flavor was pretty mid and the portion size just didn't match the price. Service was good. My food came out in about 9 minutes and the staff was friendly, though I didn't have much interaction. The restaurant was clean, booths were comfy, but the mall setting made the vibe feel a little awkward. Unfortunately, I won't be back. $23 for a burger, fries, and a drink is way too steep, especially when I know I could get better quality for half the price somewhere else. read more

This was pretty tasty! Stopped for a dinner after a work event and the burger and fries were tasty. I really like that you can crunchify it or whatevs and add chips. The service was great. It was a little chilly at the tables near the door but it was comfortable otherwise. The menu didn't seem to indicate that the veggie burger was in fact vegetarian though so I had to confirm with the worker. read more

Tried Bob's Burgers and went with the blue cheeseburger--absolutely fantastic. Juicy, flavorful, and cooked just right. But honestly? The real star of the show was the onion rings. To die for. This review is purely for the shakes!! Honestly the pistachio shake was really good! It had a nice, real-tasting pistachio flavor to it (and not the fake pistachio flavoring some sweets use). We asked if they could do a mixed flavored shake with dark chocolate too, and they added some chocolate drizzle which actually paired nicely. (The workers were nice to accommodate my request!) In the end, the price for the shake was $8+ which is WAY too much for any shake of that size. (The cup looks big, but it's narrow and the shake was thinner than I expected.) Hence, the 4 stars I'm giving. So overall, The pistachio shake we had was delicious but not worth anything more than $6 in my opinion. Food was good, but I arrived a full hour before closing. The doors were locked. They let me in, I ordered a sandwich and the cashier had to check if they could still make me something. Strange. Then She asked if it was for here or to go. All the chairs were up on top of the tables and they were mopping. It's like where would I even sit? Clearly they didn't want anyone there. The two employees working the front counter--Joseph and Mikey--were amazing. They recommended favorites and explained ingredients in the sauces when I asked. I know Bobby loves spice (too much for me); the honey mustard sauce had a healthy dose of horseradish and the fry sauce had chipotle and Dijon mustard. I would have preferred plain ketchup and mayo. I got a kids meal because their regular burgers are huge. The cheeseburger was juicy and cooked just right. I was with four family members so we shared onion rings, regular fries and sweet potato fries. All were delicious! We also ordered a variety of shakes (mine was pistachio). They added lots of whipped cream and pistachios on top. It was also generously sized. It's nice to be at a place where employees are happy. They brought food to our table and were great servers. Next time I'll try other items on their menu. You can park nearby and enter the restaurant without having to go in University Mall. read more

The chicken was perfectly crispy, fresh, and full of flavor, and my order was ready in just a couple of minutes. If you love a good fried chicken sandwich, this one is definitely worth trying. I also gave the bacon crunch burger a shot, but it didn't stand out. It was just okay and not worth it compared to the chicken sandwich. The cookies and cream milkshake was pretty good too: thick, creamy, and easy to sip, with an extra milky taste. I love Bobby Flay! These were high quality burgers that didn't have much that makes them stand out from other burger places. I'll start with the good. The fried chicken sandwich was fantastic! Great flavor, incredible texture, and the aji amarillo sauce was spectacular. The burgers were good quality, but really peppery. There was so much black pepper that it was a little distracting. The brioche buns were delicious, but don't hold together very well. The flavors were good and Bobby's sauce is tasty. The other sauces are delicious too. I know this store is new so they're figuring things out, but the chicken sandwich that I ordered here had a Patti that looked and tasted like they scraped it out of the bottom of the fry pan. Same with the onion rings. Burnt and overdone. I leave two stars (may change it) as a heads up to the management team that you have some quality control issues. Bobby's Burgers delivers on every level--flavor, quality, and creativity. Burgers here hit the spot. Perfectly juicy, flavorful and big. The buns are so delicious, soft pillowy outside crispy on the inside where the paddy meets. Holyy the bacon crunch burger was so juicy and flavorful with the saltines of the potato chips. Onion rings and sweet potato fries steal the show. Perfectly crisp texture and the onion rings omggg they are huge not overly breaded or oily. Pure deliciousness. Highly recommend the burgers here. Get your burgers-cooked medium. They are juicy and the cheese is melty and really good. The Nacho Burger has some heat to it but nothing too crazy. The chicken sandwich is just okay. It's mostly crispy breading and spicy sauce but not enough chicken. Veggie burger is unique and tasty with mushrooms, not your typical bean and grain patty but if you are not vegan (or vegetarian) go with the burger and get it fresh. The service was fast. They call your name and you pick up your order. The ambiance is nice. Feels like a classic dinner with posters on the wall and bright colors. I thought the place could be bigger. I have liked Bobby Flay since the year 2002. I have watched him on Food Network and I've always loved the way that he cooks. I've even eaten at a couple of his restaurants in Las Vegas and really loved my experience there. But this was probably the worst burger experience I've ever had. I'm shocked at how little attention was paid to making any of these food items good. Firstly, the meat was dry and unseasoned. There was no crust on the outside to make a good contrast with a soft juicy center. It was all tough, unsalted, and dry. Next, the Bobby sauce is pretty much inedible. It was a little bit bitter, a little bit sour and Even kind of spicy. I have a feeling it has horseradish in it, which is just such a strange thing to put into a burger sauce. The fries were dry. I've seen episodes of the best thing I ever ate where Bobby describes his favorite fries and how they are hand cut, and fried twice. With so much knowledge and how to make truly good fries I wonder why he would cut so many corners in his burger restaurants. These are definitely frozen fries not made from scratch. The onion rings were thick and cold and there was about five of them for seven dollars. And that's the final thing, we paid $75 for two burgers, one fry one onion ring, and three kids meals. It was ridiculously expensive and ridiculously bad. I still love Bobby Flay, but I am super disappointed in his burger place. read more

We have really enjoyed the food here. The sauce that comes with the fries and onion rings is definitely better on the onion rings (which are pretty yummy)! The shakes are great, we've tried a couple flavors and enjoyed them all. The burgers are enjoyable. I'm sad the Greek burger isn't one that stays on the menu, that one was awesome!! Didn't love the nacho burger, but I feel like it's more of a me preference. The cheese sauce felt really cheap and made it super goopy. Service was impressive! The real issue is that the food on its own just isn't enough to come back for. Add the price tag and then the value plummets.
