My wife LOVES sandwiches and I have never been to Jersey Mike's so we hopped on in during a weekend afternoon date. The place was clean, bright, and hopping with energy. The staff were so open to helping all of the customers with smiles and kindness. I got a hot sandwich and my wife a cold one so we were able to watch both of the stations. It seems that their portion sizes have been cut dramatically and prices have risen. I just paid $12 for just a sandwich for their regular size. I got a 6in sandwich back. We were in the mood for a Sub tonight for dinner. As we were driving we spotted Jersey Mike's. We had never been before so we decided to stop. Walking in, I instantly loved the feel of the place. The lighting was dim, cool art on the walls and not packed at all. After looking over the menu I decided on a Club on Rosemary Parmesan bread. They slice the meat right then and there for each sandwich, and you are able to pick yourself toppings. They do not skimp on the toppings either. They load it up!! I ordered a regular (6 inch) and it was HUGE! I was only able to eat half of it. Next time (oh yes, there will be plenty more visits), I will opt for a mini (3 inch). The sandwich was delicious!! The bread was perfect and the sandwich was on point! We will most definitely be back. I highly recommend giving Jersey Mike's a try!! read more

J Mikes really charges you for your sandwich, though this isn't really an inflation thing, first one I went to was in Vegas back in like 2014 and I remember it being spendy there too. Anyway, $8-9 for a "Regular" by itself, once you add chips and drink and a tip and tax you're pushing real close to $15 for a sandwich meal. it's a pretty good sandwich but I dunno if it's good enough to justify that price, I mean it isn't far off from Jimmy Johns or Firehouse in terms of quality. Certainly not a bigger portion size. Anyway, none of that is this location's fault, if you're willing to pay the sandwich toll it's a basic place to eat but clean and nice and the service is very good. read more

I had previously compared Jersey Mike's and Jimmy John's Italian sandwiches. Mike's was soggy and the bread was nothing special. I was looking for a good Philly cheese steak and went to Jersey Mike's in Orem. I was very disappointed. It was very average. Missing Moochie's. However, the service was way worse. I ordered a cheese steak and while waiting, six people were processed before me. Then they put the steak on the griddle. It's Jimmy John's from now on. read more

This Jersey Mikes is clean, the service is wonderful and the food is fantastic. I was there today for the first time. I've been to other locations and have always been pleased with the food, but this was my first time at this location. The stand out thing for me was the girl who was taking the orders and slicing the meat. She was so nice and friendly. I had been having a rough day and she cheered me up just by taking my order and making small talk. The other employees were very nice as well. The place looked really nice but apparently they are remodeling next week so I imagine it will be even better. As for the food, the bread was fresh, the fixin's were delicious, the tomatoes were great which is a difficult thing for this time of year, and the soda was cold. Pretty good! I still prefer the bread at Jimmy John's because it's softer, but the Rosemary Parmesan bread here is pretty good. I got the #7 Turkey & Provolone and it was a pretty typical sandwich, but still beats Subway so I'll take it. read more

Yet another chain shop. Utah does love a chain over local everytime. Good sandwiches. They claim they do a Philly cheese steak so I had to try it. It's better than many local places that claim to do one. However, shall we say, I won't be trying it again. My wife's sandwich was very good. Although, if I placed it next to a Blimpie sandwich I don't think I could tell the two apart. It's a lot like Firehouse in caliber. That makes it better than the usual shop. It's nice to have a place that's better than Subway or Quiznos or name your shop. It is indeed a step up. As a result it gets a good rating. They've done something to convince locals to come. The place was absolutely packed. It will be interesting to see how busy it is and 6 months when the novelty wears off. Overall we're talking a better sandwich shop than normal in the area but we're still waiting for a real Deli of interest to show up in the valley. read more

Fantastic quality subs. POSITIVES: The subs are delicious, with equal, satisfying portions of meat and veggies. The bread is wonderful, reminds me of Jimmy John's. My wife and I split a Giant-sized "Chicken Bacon Ranch Cheese Steak". The sauce was my favorite part! NEGATIVES: it is pretty pricy. We paid $15 for our sandwich alone. They were training a newbie, who was a little slow, but I'm not including that in my overall rating, since I don't find it fair basing the service on a recent employee. Aside from him, the service was only average. Kind of a bummer that they wouldn't make our giant-sized sub with 1 type of sandwich on half, and a different kind on the other (and charge us for which ever sandwich was more costly). My husband loves a good Philly cheesestake, but let's be honest, it's hard to find one in Utah. However, the "Big Kahuna" #56 at Jersey Mike's is about as good as it gets! Warm, melty cheese, and jalapenos (plus the usual peppers, onions, and mushrooms) makes this a favorite. And it's a big amount too! We generally order online for take out, which makes everything even faster. Our subs are always ready on time, and ready to go. We recently tried the chocolate chip cookie (thanks to a coupon) and it was also delicious. The cold subs are pretty good as well, but not nearly as tasty as the warm subs. The girl helping us was very unfriendly and acted annoyed with us. She asked if I wanted us Mike's Way, it was my first time here so I asked what that meant and she rattled off what it was in a fast and monotone voice like I was stupid. She rang up our order of 2 sandwiches, we paid but we only had one sandwich. We were looking wondering where the other one was and no one addressed us. We asked where the other one was and the same unfriendly girl said "ugh he's making it." We felt like a complete imposition to this girl when we were the only ones in the store. I would love to know who is the franchise owner of this location, we just had a terrible experience in this store and am beyond frustrated. The manager on shift made snide remarks, they weren't properly stocked with ingredients and they said they were too busy to prep; there was one person in front of us in line, that's it.... There else one other employee on duty emptying a trash can that didn't need to be emptied, maybe her time could have been better spent helping paying customers?? It is Wednesday 12/28 at 3:40 pm.
