Mediterranean Bowl

Zupas is good not great in my opinion. My family loves it so we go often but i feel the quantity per price isn't exceptional and as a big guy i want a lot of food. The food is good but nothing crazy. The quality is good and that's good and the servers are always nice and try to get your food out quick. The restaurant interior also has a lot of seating and is comfortable.

I used to love zuppas but I feel like their quality and service continue to go downhill. The last time I was here, the service was not good, this time my salad was a bummer. I got almost no toppings on my mango berry salad, and I paid $2 for 3 pieces of bite sized chicken and a few chicken crumbs. I ate the toppings quick and was left with a huge bowl of lettuce. There was a lot of water on the floor and dirty tables. Unfortunately, I just think zuppas is not what it once was!

Any sandwich they make is delicious and I love their all natural drinks. The line moves quick and the service is great. They missed one star because they got our order wrong. Other than that I plan on continuing to frequent this place.

Healthy. Fast. Casual. Affordable. Delicious. Café Zupas, you have my heart! This place is one of a kind. They offer great soups, salads and sandwiches along with great portions and prices. You walk up and order and all your food is ready by the time you pay. The service is fast and met with great big smiles. One of my favorite parts about the meal is that it comes with a bread roll and a chocolate covered strawberry. And they're damn good! The garden protein bowl is AH-mazing. There's lots of flavor and goodness in one big bowl. Plus they make it right in front of you so you know it's fresh. Y'all, the brisket grilled cheese is to die for. This is one of my favorite restuarants in Utah. A great choice for a healthy and fulfilling meal.

Fall crème brûlée

I went here 2 times the first time was great, the second gave me food poisoning:(. Service was great ambience, was okish, my favorite item was the seasonal fall crème brûlée.

I am always down for a meal at zupas after exercising! I ordered the pesto chicken and bacon avocado panini. Their pesto chicken panini is amazing!! Yet, I did not like the bacon avocado as much as it just tasted mushy. I also ordered the clam chowder recently and would not recommend it. It tasted like canned soup! I am also sad to have noticed that the chocolate dipped strawberries are getting smaller in size.

Spider

There was a spider in my chocolate strawberry that I got to go. I opened the box and am so glad I saw it before I ate the strawberry. The line was long and the food was cold before we had even left. I have a video of the spider but I'm not sure how to add it to this. Really disappointed with Zupas.

Black Sheep Cafe - When in Rome.... Try the Fry Bread Tacos!

Excellent food. We…read morecame around 5:15 and were told that they were all full up with reservations, BUT she could seat us until 6:00. No problem. That was very nice to offer. We came because we wanted gourmet burgers. Turns out that their two burgers were bison burger. No thanks. No matter. My friend and I had the Traditional Navajo Taco(s) and his wife had the Sheep's Steak Salad. Everything was delicious. I put the "s" in parentheses because the menu is in plural but it really is just one taco. The Navajo Taco description from their website: Our Navajo tacos are a true taste of tradition--crispy, fluffy fry bread tacos topped with flavorful ingredients, served alongside cilantro-lime rice and pinto beans. Whether you're searching for Indian tacos near you, Navajo food, or the best tacos in Provo, this dish hits the spot. Find out why so many call this the top Navajo taco at one of the most authentic Navajo restaurants around. Also known as Navaho tacos, it's a must-try comfort food. It was excellent. The fry bread was nice and spongy and the toppings were flavorful. The refried beans and the rice were also excellent. Not just good, but excellent. She really enjoyed her steak salad as well. All in all a really good meal, didn't even miss the gourmet burgers. So yes, you better make a reservation. And this was a Thursday night. 5* = A top favorite. Mind-blowing good. I will definitely return and I will go out of my way to go here. Worth every dime of my money. 4* = Outstanding. Top-tier. Some elements not quite as good as it gets, but it still is worthy of my regular business. 3* = Good experience. I might do repeat business if it is convenient, the only option, the only one in its category, or on a whim, but would not be among the first thing to come to mind. Would definitely recommend you trying it to get your own take on it. 2* = Not so good. Would not recommend at all. Waste of money. 1* = How are they still in business? Stay away at all costs!

My friends were visiting from the Bay Area, so we decided to try Communal for brunch today…read more The ambiance was intimate and rustic with a touch of sophistication. We ordered breakfast burrito, mocha pancake, egg Benedict and a green salad with grilled chicken. I had the sala, and it was absolutely delicious! The grilled chicken was moist, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. The fresh l, locally grown vegetables and pear made the salad even more enjoyable. I genuinely loved every bite! Coming from the Bay area, exploring the food scene in UT hasn't always lived up to my expectations. But I can honestly say Communal delivered the quality and flavors I have been missing! I highly recommend this restaurant. It is definitely worth a visit.

5 stars for Angelo…read more My boyfriend and I are road-tripping from LA and stopped in Provo looking for something other than fast food. We found Communal and the reviews were great, but honestly, **the customer service was even better!** We had our two dogs with us, so I called in a takeout order and Angelo was SO kind and helpful. I always feel like a phone call is the first impression of a place, and he immediately gave us such a good vibe. When we came in, they were clearly slammed with only Angelo and another sweet girl working, but you never would've known it from his service. I'd honestly come back for the service alone! Also, my boyfriend LOVED the French dip steak sandwich, and the sourdough is a must in my opinion :)

My wife wanted the pork belly pho, which didn't make sense to me. I wasn't sure what I wanted because I wasn't sure what they specialized in and wanted to hear them speak before ordering. When I heard the hostess/waitress speak to me in Mandarin after entering the restaurant, I immediately knew I would order their beef noodle soup. After waiting a few minutes, I paid and left with my food. The noodles were better than I expected for the Orem area. My wife enjoyed her pork belly pho. It was more of a Chinese pork belly rice noodle than a pho like at a Vietnamese restaurant. My beef noodle soup was a hearty beefy bowl of noodles. Both of the noodle soups were perfect for a cold night. The price was very reasonable, cheaper than anything I can get in California. It was a good meal. Brothers Hotpot...I don't think they have hotpot here. But, they make some pretty good noodles at a reasonable prcie.

Been to this location before, but was a different management and it was a Chinese and dim sum…read moreplace. Decided to come here again (obviously new management and a different restaurant) and I don't think we will ever come back! The service is one of the worst experiences we've ever had. On a Friday night, we were 1 of 2 tables (who came in after 8pm), and the place was empty (besides a private party in the private dining room). One server for the whole restaurant. When our order was taken, we only ordered 2 items: veg fried rice and salt and pepper prawns . When the salt and pepper prawns came out, it was served with no shell and fully battered(covered). The server did not ask me if I wanted it with or without shell - I assumed it was going to be with shell (as I pointed to the menu where the picture was, displayed with shell on. So we had to wait for another 10-15 minutes to get that order to come out. The shrimp they used was mushy on the inside, a bit gray colored (towards the tail, on the inside), and they used too much cornstarch for the breading - so it wasn't as crispy as expected. Trust me, I've had my share of salt and pepper shrimp (with shell on) and this was probably the worst I've had. I had to get up a few times to ask for: utensils, a Diet Coke, and boxes to go for our food. The only reason is I'm giving this place 2/5 stars (instead of 1) is because the veggie fried rice was decent. But over all, service, with the prices they charge, for MEH Chinese - you can get better quality Chinese at Feast Buffet or King Buffet - and those places do salt and pepper shrimp the right way!
