We came for the food and also ended up doing some shopping as well. The restaurant portion is pretty tiny, so it's a toss-up whether you'll find a seat. But it's a pleasant, tidy little space, and a nice place to have a meal. I was able to try the chicken pesto panini, fries and fry sauce, tomato soup, and oat cake. The panini and the fries are quite tasty. I think the most unique item is the oat cake, which is a hearty bite for sure. The soup, sadly, is not very good, which is kind of a letdown, because it's hard to do poorly with tomato soup. You're supposed to serve the soup yourself, but we weren't aware of that, and the staff was nice enough to dish it up for us! The store portion offers tons of quality healthy foods. Pretty expensive for everything here but that's to expect from the all organic farm to table food. Very cute and the cafe had lots of yummy options. Everything in this store is expensive. I don't mind spending money on good food, but this is pushing it ever so slightly for me. I do love that they offer organic local food, and for that reason I will continue to come here periodically. Today I had the quinoa bowl for the first time, and added chicken. When the bowl arrived I though it was slightly small for the $17 price tag, but man it's delicious. That lemon cashew tahini dressing is amazing. If I didn't add chicken, I probably would have been hungry after eating it. We got the red juice with beets, apple, carrot, lemon and ginger. The large is $16! Pretty steep, but all organic, and tasted fresh and yummy. We also tried the banana nut smoothie with raw milk, OH MY! Tastes like a milk shake, but better! Highly recommend! My daughter and I split the oatcakes, these are unreal! I will crave these! They are so good! Gluten free buttermilk oat pancakes. Get them! My daughter got the omelette with sausage, which was delicious, soft, fluffy, and that raw cheese is so good. Overall great quality and delicious. One of their associates (Laurel) bakes as a hobby, and she made the BEST apple pie I've ever had. Fun fact-- Redmond is not only a salt mining company, a raw milk producer, and a grass fed meat producer -- they also have an amazing Alaskan fishing lodge called Pybus Point. My point is I would like my sandwich which to be correct and not have to come back for to teach them how to make it for me. Do you think the way to appropriately handle a situation when the sandwich is made wrong is to hand the customer a cup that has some slaw mixed up into it without silverware and tell them to dump it on their sandwich do you feel like that's appropriate way of handling it and her statement was well yes because that's what we're gonna do in the back anyways so it's the same thing. I asked if she was the manager she said they're all in charge so whoever is in charge today of making the food thinks it is appropriate to handle that situation. The food here is so fresh and good. I got a quinoa salad and it was light with good flavors. Not the most flavorful thing I had but it still was good. It was also large in portion. We also tried the apple kombucha that was house made and it had a yummy smooth taste. The prices are higher so it isn't a cheap place to visit. This place seems really inviting and it's a beautiful grocery storefront. They sell top-of-the-line products like raw milk, supreme protein powders, and high-quality food options. I had to come and try their raw milk as I know it's far superior to regular grocery store milk when it comes to nutrients and health benefits. It does go bad way faster than regular store-bought milk. In addition, upon buying it for the first time, they do make you sign a digital waiver as it is "raw" not processed. I do love the taste of it and you can tell it's just more pure and wholesome. The employees were super helpful, and even gave me samples of a product I was inquiring about, so I can know for sure whether I liked it enough to buy the packaged item beforehand. The store is VERY small compared to what I had envisioned looking at the pics online. I love they have their own salad dressings and they let me sample it at the cafe before spending $10 on a bottle of dressing. They had 3. I tried the tahini cashew dairy free dressing and found myself eating your wish a spoon so I bought it. Also sampled the pumpkin granola and it was yummy! They make it in-house. It was also $10. They have "Real Salt" which is a Utah thing. They have a small bulk section and it's much cheaper to get the salt over there. I bought the kosher and fine salt but they also have flavors in the isle. We did however visit this place for the little restaurant inside. If you're triggered by the words "sustainable", "GF", "Organic" etc, this is not the place for you. They clearly pride themselves on local everything, making it as "healthy" as possible and it clearly serves a niche market and clientele. We tried the BBQ burger, Farm BLT (I think it was called), spicy turmeric milk and rosemary fries. You can clearly tell you're not at your local greasy burger chain. I'm just so grateful that this place exists. Are all of their business systems in order? No. Are they improving? Definitely! Can you guarantee that you will be able to order any particular thing on the menu? Not so much. Is the stuff they have kosher on a really strict diet? 95% yes. Just having a place to go which (sometimes) has French fries cooked in 100% coconut oil on low heat is mind-blowingly awesome. Would be great if their fryer didn't explode so often, but they'll work that out. As for the groceries, their prices are high, but their curation is invaluable. The food and service have gone downhill here which makes me feel very sad! The only thing they have going is that their ingredients are better. Today I stopped by for another try at it and got the house salad with chicken as my protein ($4.25 extra). Total my salad was $18. I got it to go and when I picked it up I was surprised by how heavy it was. Basically it's a TON of lettuce and cut up carrots, tomatoes and cucumbers with a measly small handful of chicken. Instead of giving you enough lettuce and veggies to feed a family of 6, they could make their house salad so good by adding some delicious ingredients like roasted cauliflower, pumpkin seeds, boiled egg, feta cheese etc, you know what I mean. Make it more of an entree which is how they advertise their house salad on their menu. I am also not the only one in my family who feels this way about Redmond. I tried the Farm Burger and their house-made fries and both were bursting at the seam with flavor. The beef was cooked to perfection and the veggies tasted fresh! In addition to amazing flavor it was great knowing that the beef came from grass-fed cows. The bottom bun did fall apart upon picking up the burger but my wife's held together and it didn't take away from the flavor at all. Prior to my first visit here, I'd been to the Salt Lake location, and liked it as well, but this one is even better: Newer, prettier, and larger. A draw for many, is that Redmond is one of the few places in Utah that can legally sell raw milk. I've purchased it several times, and it's great! They also own and sell Real Salt, an unrefined variety made here in Utah from the Great Salt Lake! Besides that, though, Redmond is really a natural grocery, and they've got all the staples. Produce is quite limited, as I think they just don't move much, but it's still there if you need a little something basic. They've got a decent bulk foods section, and a beautiful café that offers healthy sandwiches, salads, and such. I have not dined there, but photographs of the food look good, and the space truly is lovely. My favorite finds were several varieties of South River Miso, Elemental Superfood bars, Park City Creamery Cheese, and LOADS of great chocolate: local Cacao Bean Project, Element Truffles, Goodio, and Blanxart. I arrived right at opening time on a Saturday, and there was only one employee working, but they were not busy, and she was very cheery and helpful when I had a few questions. The worst thing I can say is the prices are high, but that is due to the fact that they stock high quality specialty or local goods, and I'm happy to pay more in that case. read more

I originally heard about this place from Karalynne Call who owns the small business "Just Ingredients" and teaches her followers about things in life that use better ingredients -- including body products and food. Redmond Farms provides only products and foods that are nourishing to the body. For example, they sell body products that have no harmful chemicals, meat and eggs from pasture-raised animals, salt that contains many trace minerals that our bodies need, and other foods contain only nourishing ingredients. They also have a delicious cafe that sells nourishing foods. I've tried the quinoa bowl, chicken pesto panini, and farm club. All of them were amazing! Portion sizes were honestly a bit small, but it was still worth it. They also have different kinds of milks. The only reason this isn't 5 stars is because the customer service at the restaurant is pretty terrible. 4 different people have waited on me before & they all had bad attitudes & were just flat out rude. I ordered the Pork Skillet and golden Milne. Both were amazing. The food came way fast for a busy Saturday morning. The eggs were cooked to perfection, and the potatoes were seasoned perfectly. Everything here is natural/raw/grass-fed, etc. The burgers are really quite tasty. You can taste the quality in the beef. The other ingredients are fresh and it's a quality burger. That being said, you're going to pay the price. You're looking around $10 for just the burger. A few options for sides if you want to spend a little more. I wasn't the hugest fan of the fries. They fry them in coconut oil, which makes them healthier, but it's missing the right crispness on the outside of the fry. At least in my opinion. I preferred the regular over the garlic and herb. But that's just me. They do also offer salads as well as breakfast options. Those looked pretty tasty and might have to check them out. read more
