Seriously some of the worst customer service I've ever experienced. If I was the owner/manager, I would be extremely embarrassed! Clearly, the manager doesn't care how the employees treat the customers. The food was okay. It was average. Nothing special. I asked for mustard on my sandwich and it was only on one small section. The bread was soft but the sandwich itself needed more meat. It was mostly nasty iceberg lettuce. There are better sandwiches nearby with much better customer service. I've been a few times now and have had good experiences every time. Their New York Steamer is the only sandwich I've gotten, but when you know what you like; why change it? I like that it comes with just the meats, cheese and mayo and mustard; who needs veggies? (You can of course get veggies on it, you just add them to your sandwich, no extra charge) Their pickle spears are delish and they will totally give you extra if you ask! I find it super frustrating when I order things online. The site was actually easy to navigate so that was nice. It was ready when I got there, but my sub on a club was missing bacon and I ordered it on wheat no mustard and no onions . It was also really soggy. We ordered online for pick up and were really impressed. We waited for maybe just one minute for our food once we got there. The sandwiches were SO great. Filled perfectly, no smashed bread and not soaking with sauce. They were packed really well, we definitely prefer the boxes compared to just wrapping them. My only irk is the size of the pickles. I'm really disappointed in my experience today, as I love their meatball subs. This has nothing to do w their food, the late opening or being out of supplies, that happens. It was the man that opened the door after me calling twice, and standing outside for about 10 minutes when they were supposed to be open 20 min ago. "What's up?" That was my initial greeting from them. "Yeah, just wondering what time you're gonna be open." "It's supposed to be 10:30, but I have no meats." They then proceeded to close the door. "Oh, ok, well maybe a sign so folks know." "Ok." with a very snotty sarcastic tone. Again, if you're late opening, no biggie. Out of meats? That's ok, things happen. But the rude attitude and ZERO costumer service? No thanks. Even if you greeted with a, "Hello! I'm sorry but we currently don't have any meats right now, how can I help?" Every time my boyfriend and I try to come to this location there is always an issue. The first time the guys didn't greet us. Made us stand at the register for 5 minutes and then said 'it's going to be a 20-25 minute wait'. So immediately we went somewhere else. There wasn't even that many people in the store. I used to make subs at subway when I was a teenage and 20-25 min- you are losing the business money. 2nd time, we tried to give it another go- they were taking cards, only cash. We didn't have cash. Firehouse Subs has some of the best hot sandwiches around. The menu has great options and a couple of my favorites are the Italian and the beef and cheddar brisket. I always ask for extra pickles which the staff are happy to provide. The subs are made with premium meat and cheeses. At firehouse, proceeds from every meal go to help local firefighters. You can even buy an empty 5 gallon pickle bucket that's red, so fun, and says firehouse on them for $2, which comes with a lid and the proceeds go to the firehouse subs public safety foundation. For those with a smaller appetite you can even get your regular sized sub or larger "split basket" share the sandwich with your friend and it comes in two different baskets and you each get a pickle. The hot sauce station is quite fun, as it has many options with a heat scale from 1-10. At this particular location the tables and restaurant in general are quite clean. The fancy freestyle coke machine is loaded with great options and also clean. If you have little ones they can get a cute free plastic fireman's hat as well. The staff was friendly and helpful. I'm giving 4 stars for the longer wait on the food despite the shop not being very busy and the sandwiches being built quite messy. The food was still delicious however and I plan on being a repeat customer. read more

Love the hook and ladder - good customer service - they know how to make a great sandwich

I am not one to ever leave reviews, in fact, this is my first one but tonight I was very disappointed with this locations service. I walked in 20 minutes before closing and all working employees were cleaning up the restaurant. I'm understanding if you want to start cleaning earlier than closing, but I sat in silence for 2 minutes and not one employee approached me. I then had to ask if they were closed and an employee replied "well we close in 15 minutes" and then turned around and kept cleaning. Another employee looked at me and said his co worker would take my order in an unwelcoming and unassertive way. No one walked up to the cash register or anything. I felt like I could not order because of the equipment being cleaned. So, I told them I felt bad and didn't want to make them re-clean and walked out. They let a customer walk away and feel responsible for not being serviced, when they technically did not close for another 20 minutes. I really hope no one else has to experience what I just did. read more

I love their Jamaican Turkey! Always yummy! I don't often go here because it doesn't have a drive through and the service is usually slow but it's always worth it. Today while waiting for my sandwich I watched two female employees eating over top of the food prep areas. They were laughing and having a great time, which is awesome they like who they work with at their job. However, watching her trying to catch the food falling out of her mouth knowing my sandwich was right there made my stomach stir. I remember years ago when I was just a high schooler working at Dairy Queen, that was a huge rule...Never eat in front of customers. It is not professional and unsanitary. Just like any other Firehouse chain restaurant, this one is an extremely poor value. It pains me to say that, because I think their sandwiches are fantastic from a flavor perspective... but you won't find a smaller sandwich anywhere. Seriously, these are the thinnest, skinniest sub sandwiches I've seen in my entire life. I really try to be fair and objective in my reviews because running a business is tough, but ownership needs to know what's going on with their investment. Nothing in this establishment separates itself from the status quo. I came I around 12:30 for lunch nch. I saw the new spicy cajun chicken sub wall poster and decided that's my ticket today. I ask for a combo with a chili add to, no chili. Then I ask for soup, no soup. How do you run a restaurant with no sides? Additionally, it took about 13 minutes for my sub as others were waiting long times as well. Once again you see an establishment ran by all kids, no adults and thus loss of customers/revenue because ownership/management has no clue about what's going on. The cashier announced to the store "if you're waiting for a sandwich it's gonna be a 20min wait" and so I look at the only other employee in the store, a dude with long brown hair, he takes a big bread knife and proceeds to cut cardboard boxes with it... I looked at my son and I said jokingly "I hope he doesn't cut the bread with that knife now" then the employee drops the knife on the floor, picks it up, and continues cutting the box... then he places the bread knife on the cutting board next to the bread and then cuts the bread with the KNIFE THAT JUST FELL ON THE FLOOR AND WAS USED TO CUT BOXES!!! AND.. my order isn't even started so I turn to my son and I walk to the cashier and I said to him "just cancel my order please" and in the words of the great Randy Jackson I said "it's gonna be a no from me dawg" and I walked out. We go to the Lehi location a lot and thought we would try this one because it's almost the same distance from our house. The funny thing is, we haven't been back to this location. The food was similar and the service was fine. It took me a while to put my finger on it, but I think we haven't returned because of the creepy huge painting of a family's house burning down to the ground. When we ate there, we just stared at that huge painting of the house engulfed in flames the whole time. It was rather depressing. I wonder if the artist painted the house of his ex wife or ex boss or something. We came back a second time and the shock of the burning house has worn off a bit. Walked in this evening, 3 girls working. A family of four was just paying for their food. I stood there and stood there, waiting for one of the girls to address me. I sat and watched all three of them chat about who knows what for a few minutes. One of them was even standing at the cash register and still didn't say anything. I was seconds away from walking out when finally I said "are you guys open?" The girl said yes and I said I wasn't sure since I've been standing in front of them and not a single person asked to help me or take my order. Then a girl with long brown hair (Hope) said to me "oh just interrupt us" and I said "as a guest I shouldn't have to do that" and as soon as I said that, the girl (Hope) rolled her eyes at me as she walked away. As someone who is big on customer service, I was not impressed by this at all and probably won't return because of it. Alright. So I love Firehouse and eat at many location. This one. Food was fine. Seemed like the meat was skimped on. Also had to wait for 15 min for a sandwich at 1pm. But what always frustrates me is a business that Nickel and dimes you. I do not drink soda so I always get water. I try not to eat chips as I need to lose a few. I also eat lots of hot sauce resulting in drinking tons of water. So explain to me how it's good business when I ask for a slightly larger cup I am told no.
