My first visit to The Habit Burger Grill in American Fork was very disappointing. While I appreciate quick service establishments, the experience here wasn't great. I ordered a lettuce-wrapped ahi burger, and unfortunately, the flavor was underwhelming. And the fries were very bland. I was very disturbed (but weirdly not surprised) to find a piece of plastic mixed in with my food. After finding that, I completely lost my appetite and wished I had chosen a different place for lunch. read more

The fries at Habit Burger are a bit thicker than most fries you'll find at other fast food restaurants, but they're not quite as thick as steak fries. Their burgers are decidedly larger than most fast food burgers, but not quite as big as typical non-chain burgers. Sizes not withstanding, I'm a fan of both the taste and quality of their food - it's hard to do better at fast food prices :-) In my experience, the toppings here at Habit Burger are always fresh, and the burger patties are juicy and very tasty. I also like their onion rings, which I think are on-par with the ones I remember from Burger King back in the Day. Service here is fairly quick, and the prices are very reasonable for the quality of the food served. I'm sure I'll be back soon! read more

Every time I come here to eat, everything is delicious, fresh and filling. Pretty good customer service too. You might say, the food is quite habit-forming... Their burgers taste very similar to In N' Out (which is a compliment) but this place's menu has a whole lot more options. From burgers, fries, and shakes to chicken and fish sandwiches to salads and more! I mean, what's not to like? read more

I love a good Hawaiian burger and I think it's true that it's just "not the same without the flame." The Habit nailed it for me with a great burger that disappeared in minutes because it was juicy and delicious. I enjoyed visiting on a Sunday afternoon and missed any of the rushes so we got our meal pretty quick. I thought it was interesting that they set out a variety of peppers to grab alongside their condiments but I love pepperoncini's so I won't complain! While the burger was definitely worth a second visit, I wasn't super impressed with the fries and probably would skip them next time, but the reason I gave four stars was that we had a hard time finding a clean table despite it being fairly slow. Clean tables should just be standard practice at any restaurant and I think it can kill the experience a little when there are more dirty tables than clean ones. read more

Okay, see why ratings are so high. Overall beyond expectations. Service, food, ambiance- Great. Extremely friendly service-Alejandra and her coworker (unusual name) beyond welcoming! Great burgers and fries-made to order, no premade items here-and quick. Avocado tempura-fresh, large portion, light and very crispy. Simple, CLEAN, and quiet atmosphere, love that you can hear yourself think and actually enjoy a conversation. Yep, we'll be back! read more

I come here so much because it never disappoints. Me and my boyfriend were in the mood for a Sunday afternoon snack and habit burger was the first thought. If you he the app they send you amazing coupons so we stopped by to get 2 shakes, not 1, but 2 shakes for only $5. They also have delicious burgers and I always get the sweet potato fries. Everything is extremely fresh and made after order so it's not wilted or old. read more

Just happened to be next door and stopped in for lunch. While not usually in the "where should we go to get a burger" conversation I was pleasantly surprised. It's good, not great and I think my main concern was the pricing. Once you get what you want, with the option add-ons, it gets pretty pricey real quick. I ended up getting a Santa Barbara Char. Not too bad. They came and cleaned our table before we sat, the staff seemed friendly, and the place clean. Can't say I'd go rushing back anytime soon but it wasn't bad, just outshined by their competitors. Solid 4/5. read more

If you're looking for a good burger place; you should stop here. I ordered the Portabella Charburger in a meal (fries and a drink) and it was delicious! They have big slices of portabella mushrooms with a garlic aioli and it totally hit the spot! The garlic aioli is garlic-y (obviously) so don't be surprised when it tastes like garlic! Their fries were nice and crispy; which I like! They have some typical soda options as well as some fresh limeade options which were both tasty! read more

My wife and I have been here a few times. We like coming here because the burgers are good quality and they are fast. They are also very helpful and nice when we order. I like the Santa Barbra Char and the Teriyaki Char. The fries are always good as well. I do like their drink selection. I like the limeades they have. They are really good! (I like to add a little Sprite!) Overall, it is a great place to get a fast burger! read more

I got a free char burger for my birthday! Yay! I do wish I was able to get the whole meal with the coupon but I purchased an individual side of fries; I didn't want to get a drink. I have been to the Habit locations in Salt Lake but this is the first time I have been to the location in American Fork. The food did seem to take much much longer than it ever has before. However, it is always nice to have fresh food so I don't mind waiting a bit. During lunch hour, there is hardly anywhere to sit so hopefully as it gets nicer, they will be able to offer some outdoor seating. The fries were pretty awesome. They were crispy on the outside but soft on the inside. They were also nice and hot. Along with my fries, I got sides of ranch and fry sauce. The ranch was home-made but it was not mixed very well as there was chunks in it. It would've been a perfect consistency otherwise! It still tasted good too. The fry sauce came in little packets so it was not made by The Habit but I still thought it was very flavorful. The burger was decent. It didn't hold together very well but it was cooked good. I would've liked a little bit more sauce to add some flavor. You may not want to come here if you are in a hurry and you may not get a table if it is during their busier times but I do think the food is always cooked very well and this location is an awesome addition to American Fork! read more

I got the impossible burger and the combo of fries/onion rings via Uber. The onion rings were really good, but the fries were only so so. I've had the impossible burger from a lot of different places and I have to say that this place probably did the worst job with it. This was mostly because it was mushy in the middle. I think the lackluster fries and the mushy burger were probably because the food was delivered and not eaten immediately after purchase. I'd try the place again, as long as I could eat the food right away. read more

My husband & I ordered takeout from the American Fork restaurant. Tenderloin Steak Sandwiches and their sweet potato fries were delicious! He ordered his with grilled onions and BBQ sauce & I chose the teriyaki sauce. Of course, I had to try his sandwich! They were both full of flavor. Great quality, delicious food. read more

it's good, they just close 30 mins early. we saw it said closing at 9:30pm and we got there at 9pm while people were still eating and the doors were closed. the employees just looked at us and and kept cleaning. guess they really want to go home early. it's a good place just make sure to be there before 9pm cause that's when they really close. read more

We were in the mood for burgers but ended up getting salads this time, haha. The quantity in the bowl looks like half of what's shown in the ads. That's not surprising, I guess, but something to note in case you're wanting a lot. Will ask for half the amount of dressing or dressing on the side next time. I like that it's already tossed with the greens so it's evenly distributed. Workers here are always nice and we usually get in and out of here pretty quick. read more

Best thing on the menu is the Fried Green Beans. They're only lightly battered so you don't have to regret your life choices after eating them. You can actually walk out with your head hung high that you ate something so delicious and green at the same time. The chocolate Oreo shake is what I would recommend to any decent human being. If you're my enemy, I would recommend you not eat here. It's all too yummy for you, so just go away. The garlic fries were delicious but the garlic butter was way too strong for my taste. I would've preferred to have it on the side to dip in instead of drizzling it all over my fries. Obviously it is prettier with it on top, but to eat, it is better on the side. :) read more

Arguably THE best fast-food burger joint in Utah. They have incredible burgers with very affordable prices. I love to order the portabella Swiss (*insert drooling emoji). But don't stop at the burgers! The tempura green beans are a must-try, and the Oreo shake is deeeeelllliiiiccciiiouussssss! Plus there are salads, and cool drinks. Whenever we want a burger, we always head to the Habit -- no questions asked. (I guess you could say it's a HABIT of ours!) read more

Really impressed with their speed of service. Came at what I thought would be early at 11:30 with a group of us and they already had a line. However, no sooner had we put in our order than we got our food!! Super impressed with that! It is a little bit small, but they did have a table for our group of 7. Their food is amazing. I really love their Santa Barbara char. The sour dough bread is a great addition to the avocado burger! read more

This is my dads go to spot! I've been here so many times, but maybe only half as many as he has! I love this place and most I bring here do to as well! I've had an array of different things to eat hear and never been disappointed.... well except their fries, they aren't bad but not amazing either, I would give them an average rating. Tuna fillet sandwich- soooo good! From the way they seat the tuna to the sauce that compliments it so well. If you like fish this should be your deal. Bacon burger- better question have you ever not liked a bacon burger? Tempura green beans- I get these almost every time! They are so tasty and make you feel healthy, whether that is true or not isn't the point ;) Super food salad- I'm not a salad guy but have gotten this multiple times the dressing is killer and brings all that healthy mumbo jumbo stuff on the menu together to taste really good! Give this place a shot I promise you won't be disappointed unless you're grumpy cat and always disappointed. read more

Better than average burger with quick service, nice flame broiled char, and toasted buns (yes!). The burgers are well seasoned with a smooth salty flavor and there is a great crunch in each bite because of the toasted buns. Lettuce is shredded so be warned if you like non shredded. Does make a bit of a mess. I also like that they don't over sauce their burgers so you can actually taste the charred meat. I wish they cooked to a little more medium rare. I like the sweet potato fries as well. They also have shakes which I hear chocolate is a favorite. Place is clean, feels inviting, staff are reasonably friendly. read more

Ordered The Habit from door dash today. 3 of the 4 burgers I ordered were incorrect. The fries were so cold that I could feel the cold spots from being frozen. Worst food I have ever received from there or anywhere else. Burger King would have been better. $55 for food that should have been fed to the dogs instead of my very hungry kids. Gross. Gross. Update: money was refunded. Plus given and extra $5 through door dash. The Habit was very helpful in getting this taken care of. read more

Missed in a big way. Ordered two sandwiches. One was made to order. The second was a complete miss. Did not make the Santa Barbara char as ordered. Was given a bbq bacon cheeseburger as a meal. Kinda like ordering a steak and getting a hot dog. read more

Man, it delivers pretty consistent tasty burger deliciousness! I'll keep this short. Pros - Good meat. Good toasted bun. Good grilled onions. Good pickles. Good sauce. Good service. Consistent. Cons - I'd prefer different type of fries (these taste a bit much like rice fries), but they're okay. The fry sauce could also use an adjustment (it's not quite fry sauce tasting). Recommend - Char Burger with cheese and bacon. Mmmm. read more

I walked in to order sweet potato fries. There were less than 5 people in the entire place, and I was told to wait outside for my food. It's 91 degrees today!!! After 10 minutes of waiting I asked for my money back. Will never be returning. The other customers waiting for takeout were thoroughly annoyed as well. So let me get this right? If I had said it was for dine in, I would have been allowed to stay inside! What a freakin joke read more

Truly they have perfected the Meat/Cheese ratio. I love a good In-n-Out burger but as much as I really enjoy cheese, their Meat/Cheese ratio is to heavy in Cheese. You have to order a 2x1 or a 3x2. But the Habit is one of the best chain burgers I've had. I'm a customer for life, it's a habit I'll never break. read more

I came here for a work meeting a few nights ago. They accommodated our larger group perfectly. I thoroughly enjoyed the Teriyaki Char, sweet potato fries and Oreo shake. So disappointing! We used to visit Habit in California (Ventura) and loved their veggie burger - the one we got here was pathetic and not worth the money. In addition, I asked for 'extra crispy' fries and instead received pale and limp ones (they were tossed). Won't be back. read more

My wife and I, with our two youngest daughters tried The Habit Burger Grill for the first time. We ordered 4 char burgers with fries and a drink....so we did not get a full taste of the menu. After trying another location decided to try the one down the road. My kids really liked their charburger kids meals. The burgers were small but plenty of fries. Not bad for about $4. The BBQ burger was pretty good as well. Definitely left still a little hungry. But I guess that's what happens with fast food style ones. My husband had the Santa Barbara burger. I liked this one much more. It includes all the toppings they charge extra for such as cheese and avocado. Loved the tempura green beans as a side. Nice crunch to them. The sweet potato fries were really good and crisp too. Great large seating too. 4star for a quick burger joint! read more

We have normally had a great experience eating at The Habit. Today was not great, but it was not terrible, either - it was disappointing. The food was good but the hamburger patties were about half the size of the bun. On both burgers! Sad. Where's the beef, indeed! In the bathroom, the urinal didn't flush. Gross. I had the char burger combo and luckily I beat the lunch rush. I ordered my meal via self-serve tablet and my order came pretty quickly. The burger and fries tasted pretty standard. I ordered the veggie patty sandwich on a French roll with mustard instead of dressing sauce. According to PETA this is the way to order it vegan. It also comes with onions, lettuce, tomato, and cucumbers. It was very good. They also have kids meals that come with an entree (hamburger, chicken nuggets, or grilled cheese), a side (fries, apple slices, or applesauce) and a drink (milk, soda, or apple juice) and a little gummy candy hamburger treat. My kids liked their grilled cheese and chicken nuggets meals. You get a little pager when you order at the counter and then after you sit down it will vibrate to indicate when your order is ready. Once you go up to get your food they tell you what each item is, which is a nice touch. Also they are open on Sundays and they are not expensive. This restaurant will be a repeater for our family. read more
