Slim Chickens has some great employees and a bright and welcoming restaurant. The employees were so friendly and helpful in our first outing. I loved the white tile walls with various sayings here and there. The place was so clean and refreshing. The brioche buns were and we tried a number of sauces which were all full of flavor and match up to their descriptions. One thing I love is good, crunchy ice and theirs was on point. The fries were even quite good. The milkshake was ok, probably needed more chocolate and didn't taste (or was a somewhat runny) like it was hand spun, but they do have milkshake straws. Now, we didn't love the chicken. I had a sandwich and my wife the tenders. The first tender was pretty good and juicy, but the rest were tough. My sandwich chicken was tough as well. I ordered the Cajun chicken and was looking forward to that kick the chicken was tough, it wasn't Cajun (no spice), and the crunchy covering was not there for much of it. I came in last night around 9:00pm and there was only one other customer in the drive through and after I ordered my food the person infront of me was there for atleast 30+ minutes once they drove away super aggressively I come to the window and the lady walk to the front and started messing with a screen. I saw my food waiting on the counter and multiple other employees walked by the window and made eye contact with me. I sat there for a additional 25 minutes and no one talked to me once and I knew my food was cold at that point so I just drove away at 9:50 I am a repeat customer and honestly am not sure if I'll come back after that. While they have online ordering it is only for delivery so you can forget about ordering ahead, in app only?? The exterior of the building reflects its new status though not all of electrical sign's are operational. Hopefully this will be corrected quickly and will not be a foreshadowing of lack of maintenance to come. The breading on the chicken tenders is very thin & the garlic-parm sauce is flavorful, perhaps even more garlicky than many would enjoy but I like it. The side of fries is plentiful with crispy outside and soft inside and skins still on. And they actually managed to keep the ice out of my drink. I could do without the toast as they put no jelly in for it but luckily I have some in my fridge. The flavor of the plain chicken strips is good, again it might be more than a picky eater could stand but great for the rest of us. I used the drive-through on a Friday night, and they have the two window system in place. It was between 10-15 min from order food handoff. Interaction with the staff was limited and while I will not say they were "friendly" they were professionally pleasant and, more importantly to me, fast. This place is terrible. Chicken was so bad I couldn't even finish it. The seasoning was barely there and the tenders were dry and the wings smelled bad when I bit into it and tasted worse. The fries were so soggy I had to put them in my airfryer for them to be edible. The bleu cheese was rank, I gagged and I can't remember the last time food made me gag. The chocolate shake was not bad I will give them that but it was overpriced for the size and how hard is it to make a decent chocolate shake. I wont be back. read more

We came here on a Thursday night. Was happy to see the restaurant busy! It was cleaner than the Lehi one and the employees were a lot more kind and helpful. I ordered a chicks meal and a side of Mac and cheese. The food came out extremely hot only about 5 minutes after ordering. The fries were crispy, salty, and so good in the fry sauce. Their toast is crispy and garlicky which I love. The tenders were moist and fresh. Perfectly crispy. I absolutely love their homemade sauces. My favorite is their cayenne ranch. It's the best! The mac and cheese is super creamy. However, for $4, it was the smallest scoop and didn't even fill the container it came in. The portion for the same size at Lehi is always way bigger. Happy to have this location in PG and so close to home. Will definitely be back. read more

Super yummy!! The chicken tenders were really moist and well seasoned. The menu is really big but the guy who helped us was super helpful in knowing what to order! I'd love to come back and try the chicken and waffles and try new sauce combos with my meal. We loved all of our food! The cranberry lemonade was also super yummy and fresh tasting. This was my second time here, the first time my food was nice and hot, so I decided I would come back and give it another try. They were not very busy and there was only two cars in front of me, when I received my food the chicken was hot but the fries and bread was cold. Not at all like the first time I came. I am very disappointed when you pay $12 plus for food and the only thing hot is the chicken there's a problem. Also when they handed me my drink sorry I was running down the side he noticed but yet still handed it to me like he didn't even care. I might try them again but not anytime soon. read more

I asked them to toss my chicken in buffalo sauce and they did not do that. Even more frustrating, they did not provide forks for chicken that should have been tossed in sauce. On top of that when I paid in cash for my food, the imbecile working the drive through window decided that he was deserving of a tip and took 5 dollars for himself. 10000/10 I just have to say first and foremost- this is like one of the only places that sells chicken wraps anymore. The Buffalo chicken wrap is sublime. They had perfect ratio of chicken to lettuce to sauce. They also had cute chopped tomatoes. We got 2 warps and an order of fries for under $20! Solid food - but there's better available for less $$. We got the chicken sandwich and a chicken tender meal. It's about $10 a person so a little on the pricey side for fast food. But it wasn't bad! These wings hit the spot! Meaty, delicious, and generously seasoned. I went with the wings with lemon pepper dry rub, plus Slim's Sauce, Honey BBQ, and Garlic Parmesan dips. All were tasty, though the garlic parmesan and Slim's Sauce were SUPERB. And I appreciate that they have nutrition info on their website, so it was easy for me to find which options were gluten free. The last few times we've gone through the drive thru our order is messed up. (Missing items or meals made completely wrong) The first time we didn't notice until we got home that we were missing a few items, so we called for a refund. When we were on the phone they thought they had put me on hold, however, they didn't, and I heard them talking about how annoying it was that I wanted a refund. After everything we still never received a refund. After these last few experiences we won't be returning, and now I'm not surprised why they are never busy. read more

I got the 8 piece wing meal, in hot. The wings were a 6 out of 10. The hot sauce flavor wasn't at all spicy. I mean, at all. I was wondering if they didn't even put sauce on them. I still wonder. The chicken tasted undercooked and the overall chicken wing quality and flavor was inferior. If you like wings, you know what I mean. The fries were good. And the toast is good. but how does a chicken specializing restaurant not have good wings? I won't risk it again cause it doesn't seem like it was a one off. it's a Friday night, and I decided to treat myself here. this was a drive thru order. first of all the person that charged me did not seem focused. i ordered a chick club sandwich and the same person that charged in the first window is the same one that gave me my order in the second window but instead of giving me my food he asked for the name of my order, there was no one in front of me. and still it took 20 minutes for them to give me my sandwich when I got home what was my surprise it was only the bun with chicken, no sauce no nothing this was not what I paid for. yuck!!! we got chicken club sandwiches, a large potato salad side and a coleslaw side. the coleslaw was SO salty! it has a creamy dressing, the cabbage chopped very fine, but then gag! salt. the potatoes in the potato salad were very firm. all the potatoes undercooked. sometimes you get a few hard potatoes, but these were all undercooked. the salad was also very fatty, greasy, salty and had a bitter aftertaste. We couldn't finish this either. the sandwiches were okay. fresh lettuce, bun slightly dry, chicken was pretty good. not enough sauce. we won't be going back. waste of money read more
