This place was mid at best. We were the only ones in the restaurant which should've been a sign to move on. We ordered a chicken sandwich, tri tip sandwich and sweet potato fries. The fries were really good, but everything else fell flat. Tri tip was low quality meat, and over cooked. When they took our order, we couldn't understand what they were saying. The employee mumbled something quietly. I asked them if they could repeat themselves and I got the same mumble. They were doing some deep cleaning in the kitchen during business hours. Cubby's is really delicious. I've only been a couple times and I've enjoyed it both times. The service is usually quick. It's convenient because they also have a drive thru. I love the cockadoodledoo sandwich. It was filling. A great side is their Rosemary fries. I also enjoyed the lemon chicken parmesan salad. Next time I will get an extra cup of dressing. i dont know why the reviews are bad, i ordered a half mixed berry chicken salad for $10.50 approximately. it was delicious and satisfying. they brought the food out very quickly and were attentive to my questions. we sat outside and the tables and everything were clean and nice. the berries were sweet and the chicken was delicious and cooked perfectly read more

The wild rice and kale salad is my favorite!!! I crave this on the regular. However, the dressing is sometimes a hit or miss depending on the day. When this salad is on point (10/10), it is unreal! I never crave a salad except this one! Aside from the salad, I do appreciate the quality of ingredients. I do like the sides here as well including the mac n cheese and the rosemary fries! I love taking people to Cubby's, and seeing their reaction to how tasty the food is. Breakfast served Saturday's until 11. The French toast has the perfect crunch, it tastes almost like a dessert. Very clean setup for a meal in the restaurant with the family. Booths are closed off from each other, with TVs available to watch the games. Fresh, and high quality ingredients used in everything. Even if you get a salad, or breakfast, don't forget to order some Rosemary fries for the table. Make sure to try their chipotle fry sauce, and any flavor Whoopie Pie. I love the Buffalo Chicken Salad! I get it most of the time from here. They do an excellent job with ratio for each salad ingredient. In other words, I don't find I need more lettuce to soak up the dressing or vise versa. Also, the chicken is plenty as well. I do think a tad more Buffalo sauce would be great but that's because I like spicy food. The inside was well kept at this location and the staff did an excellent job taking our orders and bringing the food. On the other hand, I would recommend a smile as the food is brought out to the customers. Keep making great food though! read more

I've been kind of ambivalent about this chain for a bit. I think the food is fine, overall, but nothing that really has tickled me or gotten me too excited. I came in and had some sort of Slayer burger (btw, don't make the same mistake as me and make sure you order a double) and it was fine, if a bit smaller than I'd anticipated from the pictures. I'd have it again, as far as taste and quality, but I'm not sure I felt it was a $10 burger. If anything, I'm pretty sure it wasn't, but, again, had I gotten a double and the ratios been better, that probably will change. They happily had Coke Zero on fountain, so no complaints there, but I can't say my feelings about these places overall changed much going out from when I came in. Solid, if unspectacular. read more

Everything here is good. I love the salads and sweet potato fries. You have to try the sweet potato fries. They have chipotle sauce that's so good to eat them with. The dragon slayer burger is good also. If you like a less sweet salad get the tortilla salad. The berry salads are good but sweet. They have excellent customer service too. read more

Sort of a Panera-like vibe - except add burgers and fries. The Buffalo chicken salad was great! Really loved the chicken. My wife got the berry salad. I ordered the Wild Rice Kale salad through DoorDash pick up, and they gave me the steak salad instead. I got in line to wait to speak with an employee about it. I told the lady at the register that my order was wrong. I showed them my order in DoorDash, which clearly showed Wild Rice Kale salad. After a confusing series of questions that basically ended with me having to show in the app, again, that I did not order a steak salad, she looked up my order in the terminal. She then told me that in Cubby's system it showed steak salad. I told her that I did not order a steak salad and really wanted a wild rice and kale salad instead. She then repeated that she sees a steak salad in their system, and so I have what is correct and that DoorDash put it in their system as steak salad. I understand that in the end, it was ultimately DoorDash's fault, but it was obvious she did not want to help me out. There was no apology or even sympathy expressed. I'm giving two stars, because the food was good. However, I could tell this lady just did not care and did not want to deal with me. I live in Mapleton, so I go most often to the Spanish Fork location, and I've gotten the wrong thing a couple of times by what ended up being my own fault, yet they still always made it better, in spite of me even saying they didn't need to, which made me a huge Cubby's fan. I left today very frustrated and not wanting to give this location any business again. read more

Rarely do I leave a bad review, but this location messed up on my drive-thru order three times in a row. At this point, it's a pattern and the problem is compounded by bad customer service. The first two times we didn't notice their mistakes until we got home. Once we just ignored it and once we went back to get a missing item. Tonight, strike three, they forgot a shake and a guy (named Adam) rather than offer to fix it just left me there, and was rude and unhelpful, so I eventually had to go inside and order it from a different employee while the rest of the food got cold outside in the car. The food at Cubby's is fine, but the service is absolutely garbage. Honestly, if you mess up the order and the tip was more than the missing item, just comp it if you care about your customers. Or at minimum, you get the item and have them pay, but you don't just walk away rudely and do nothing. If it weren't for the fact that they've consistently messed up on my kid's order then I wouldn't care so much, but I'm done with this place--at least at this location. My advice, avoid the drive-thru. And for Cubby's, do some customer service training. read more

I really like Cubby's and having a drive through is a game changer! But.... it did take a little over 15 minutes to get our food through the drive through. Meanwhile there was no line inside so I would say that this still is not your best option if you are in a hurry. It's nice to have a location in Orem, much closer than the other locations. Drive through menu is nice to include photos of the food items, helps you make decisions quicker when you have more people in the car. My husband has mixed feelings because of other pickup orders were inconsistent. Tonight picking up dinner, the food was really good. The Jal Ranch Quesadilla was so good mixing with the pico de gallo and the jalapeno ranch sauce. My son enjoyed the street tacos, it's nice that you can mix the chick and steak in the tacos. You are paying more, but it's for the quality of food they serve. They are a little slower than a typical fast food drive through. read more

Im not gonna lie I've had some spotty service at a couple of different cubbys recently but this was my first time at this location and they were sharp. I ordered online and went to pick it up. I went to the drove through and told them I was there for a pickup. There were a few cars ahead of me so instead waiting they had me pull to a parking spot and someone was out there super quick. The food is always tasty. This time we had the steak torta and the berry chicken salad. Delicious as usual. My only knock with cubbys is portion size to price. But delicious as always! read more

I used to be Cubby's #1 fan! Their tri-tip salad and rosemary fries were staples in my Provo days. I was so excited when they opened in Orem (where I now live), but unfortunately, they have not lived up to their previous reputation. It used to be $10.99 for my salad and like $2.99 for fries and in the last two years or so prices have jumped to $14 and $5 respectively. I understand inflation has been so hard on businesses and I completely understand that prices can't remain the same forever, but the thing that bothers me is that the quality has decreased TREMENDOUSLY. The fries come in a container that has to be less than 1/2 as large as their previous "fry bag." My salad is almost always missing ingredients + always skimping. Barely any feta cheese, next to no dried cherries, etc. The steak is not near as tender and almost always cold. Plus they're so slow (not even worth going through the drive-through). Cubby's used to be a place I would go to at least once weekly. Now each time I go, I leave disappointed. Visit Pizzaria 712, Cafe Rio, TRUReligion, or Kohinoor instead. Much better quality, service, and prices. I would be happy to pay the new prices (or even more $$$) and wait the long wait if the quality remained, but that is not the case. The Provo location is the same, but maybe a little better. Cubby's will run themselves into a grave if they don't address the quality problems that myself and so many other customers have been experiencing. I hope this is just a bump in the road that they can rise above. I want to be a proud Cubby's customer again SO BAD! read more

The menu here isn't my typical place but went for a work lunch and was pleasantly surprised. I had the Mac and cheese and buffalo blue cheese fries. Both were really good. But spending this much and receiving cold food and several pieces of hair in my food was very disappointing. The customer service was horrible. The food here is almost always top-notch. Their sweet potato fries as among the best we've had anywhere. I highly recommend the chipotle fry sauce to go with the fries. The tri-tip sandwich is delicious, with a ton of different options of how to customize it (my favorite is el caliente, with the spicy BBQ sauce). The burgers are also very good, with options for lettuce-wrapped or gluten-free buns. Any of the salads are also very good, my favorite is the buffalo chicken. The food is slightly overpriced, but the unique menu options and quality make it worth it. My primary complaint with this place is the wait time. We've been using their curbside pickup ever since the pandemic started, and the food usually comes out about 20 minutes after it's supposed to be ready. So I decided to wait a little longer and show up later to make sure the food was ready, and I still waited about 20 minutes for my order. This part of the experience has been unfortunately consistent. So don't expect anything close to the speed of chick-fil-a across the street, but do expect a broad selection and high-quality food. read more
