It had been years since my last visit and we were in the area and decided to stop by for lunch. The cashier was kind but it did feel she was rushing us, despite nobody behind us. It didn't feel natural or genuine. I ordered the Asian salad with grilled chicken. Very generous on the chicken portion which I really appreciated! It was cooked and seasoned to perfection! I loved all the flavors in the salad - especially the cashews and peppers. The dressing, which I got on the side, was very sweet and I couldn't really eat it. Love their chicken. It is always fried well -- very tender and juicy. I made the mistake of getting my tenders drenched in buffalo. The sauce is yummy but if you eat in their restaurant they have all sorts of sauces out for you to use, including their buffalo, Korean bbq etc. so you may as well get them plain and then get multiple flavors. Pretty busy at 6 on a Friday night. Easy to find parking though and we got our food quickly. My son even ran up and changed his order right AFTER my mother-in-law paid and dude easily changed the order and everything we got was correct. The large order of fries is huge. We split it amongst three people and were good. The fries are thin and cool quickly so eat them first. The grilled chicken is very good. Tender, moist, well seasoned. Love it with the honey mustard. My MIL got the southwest salad and mostly ate the top of it. She said the rest was just packed plain lettuce so she didn't want to eat it. My kids got shakes and both only drank less than half. We decided to take a trip south to try Super Chix and although it was good, I am not sure I would go out of my way just to go there. They also seemed to be a bit on the pricy side. We purchased the Korean BBQ Sandwich and chicken tenders both fried and grilled along with loaded fries. The fried chicken was nice and meaty, but the grilled chicken fell a bit flat (pun intended). The grilled chicken was moist, but that little chicken tendon/vein seemed to still be in the chicken and left it a bit unappetizing. They also offer a variety of sauces for whatever your saucy needs are. Super Chix is also open on Sunday, which is a plus. Overall, if you're in the area it is with a try although I wouldn't classify it as a must. read more

What I really liked about this place was the variety in sauces, fries, and different sandwiches. Everything we had was really good but I wouldn't go out of my way to eat here. I also thought the custard was a little mediocre although it was definitely thick and creamy. I wouldn't order the Dutch chocolate again but I would try a new flavor next time. I ordered a large fry and as you can tell from my picture it was huge... surprisingly we were able to finish it all between two of us. The fried chicken here is immense. I ordered the avocado sandwich and added a piece of chicken and was blown away by the sheer size of this sandwich. They literally give you a half of an avocado topped with gouda cheese and deep fry it until its nice and golden brown on the outside. This is probably the most expensive sandwich on the menu if you add chicken but I highly recommend it. Every bite was delicious and the avocado and cheese added an amazing texture and taste to the already amazing chicken sandwich. Not to mention their custard was incredibly rich and creamy. We are obsessed with Super Chix!! Their chicken is perfectly seasoned and moist. We have tried multiple sandwiches and salads and sauces and it's all amazing. This really is just A-OK. As far as chicken sandwiches go, there are plenty of better options. I ordered the Bacavo Ranch and had the dryest experience. I could not finish it. The chicken was so dry that the mound of sauce could not help it. Maybe it was a bad day on the grill? Either way, I would not order this item. My Girlfriend got the Simple Hand-Breaded traditional and it was a bit better as far as dryness, but it just was lacking the flavor we expected. We did love the Huge portion of delicious fries, I would come back for those. As far as the chicken sandwich craze going through Utah, this is at the bottom of our list. I'm going to cut them a lot of slack, because they were absolutely slammed when I visited. Like, lines halfway across the restaurant. Like, standing room only. And good grief there were a lot of people standing. Jostling. Trying to get their orders in. Trying to get sauces. Trying to nab a table. A sea of humanity. Normally in a situation like this, I'd probably just bail and find somewhere else. But we had our hearts on chicken and even though it felt like it might be late enough, we thought surely the crowds would soon die down. So we jumped in line, and it actually moved pretty fast. Up to the front, and since Nashville hot chicken is sweeping the nation, I decided to just lean in and go for it. I also got to try the crispy avocado chicken sandwich. I will say that when it comes to chicken cut sizes, they can vary drastically. My cut was decent, but the one on the avo sandwich was enormous. Easily 50% bigger. But as for taste, I won the day. I added slaw and that's 100% the right call. It's spicy, with just enough sass to burn your lips, and very juicy. A nice entrant into a growing field of entrants. You don't have to be from Nashville to love the Nashville hot, as this Texas-based chain is out to prove. I also did a tour de sauce and the winners were the Korean (but I'm a sucker for sesame oil) and their signature. They forgot our custard, so we had to follow up. Having declined a receipt it was extra tricky for them to verify that indeed we had paid for it, but they made it right. The crowds were very off-putting, and the stacks of potatoes cramped the counter area that was already a massive bottleneck. Kids were running up and down the aisles, screaming, playing near the restroom, and I think if I saw a crowd again I would bail. But again, the forgotten custard and crowds are all part of the newness, so they're getting some slack. When it came to the food, it was a pretty good experience. read more

We went on a Friday night, exactly a week from when they opened and it was pretty busy, with that being said they brought the food out in a pretty timely manner. One of the owners, Daryl, was in front of house helping wipe up tables and making sure things were getting cleaned up as soon as possible so more people could get seated, that was cool of him. He was nice and friendly. The food was great! The crispy Avo was good, chicken was delicious and the fried pickles dipped in their ranch was my favorite! I've been here a few times and the staff are always friendly. This location is also always busy during lunch. The inside is nice and they are pretty good at keeping it clean most times. It is a smaller restaurant space so seating can be limited if they are busy. There sauces are pretty good and is probably what makes it worth it to me personally. This particular time, I got the Chicken Cordon Bleu and it was ok. The chicken and ham were great with the honey mustard sauce but I feel like it was missing the cheese aspect a bit too much. Maybe it needed more cheese or the bun was too much bread? I'm not exactly sure but I wasn't impressed with the sandwich. The Cajun fries were good and crispy as well. They had ok seasoning on them as well. I think a bit more seasoning would have been better. They were also pretty greasy so make sure you have napkins lol. The price is a bit steep for me as well. I had to ask for aioli because mine didn't have any on it and it definitely needed it. I'm a sauce girl tho so it brings it all together. The chicken was well cooked. But they look good. Drinks are self-serve. If you want water, those cups are available by the drink machine. I docked the rating by one star due to the seating and layout.
