I've come to super chix a few times. They've always been solid. I usually get 5 chicken strips...I've tried breaded and grilled, both are pretty good hut i prefer grilled. I was first introduced to Super Chix in American Fork many months ago and really enjoyed my meal there, so when another location opened close to home, I was excited to check it out. Along with darn near everyone in the area-it's always packed! Busy as it may be, they do a remarkable job at getting orders out quickly and providing pleasant customer service. It's also clean, which is appreciated-it can't be easy to maintain cleanliness with the volume of people that are always here. I ordered a large order of fries to share with two other people and we barely made a dent. I appreciate the generosity, but was disappointed that so much went to waste. That large mountain could have fed twice as many people. With so many chicken places around, my family and I discussed holding a private taste test and declaring our favorite. I've been to the Super Chix in American Fork for years but didn't realize they got a second location in Mountain View Village--how exciting! I was meeting up with a friend over in Herriman and decided to stop here for lunch before heading over to her house. First thing's first: wtf is this parking lot? Seriously, there is no parking for Chipotle and Super Chix. There is a drive through, but absolutely no markings of what drive through it is or how any of this works. If there was a contest for worst parking lot I have ever seen in my life, this is the clear winner. So I head into the store after having a meltdown about the parking lot. Ignorance is bliss and I am glad I forgot about Super Chix's menu for a little bit. Their prices are a la carte and STEEP. The price of their sandwiches alone isn't *that* bad but any drink or fry that you want to go with it is also very pricey. I was quite shocked. I mean, the perk is that you get unlimited sauce...but the sauce also was not as good as I remember. Their ranch is okay but not nearly as out of this world as I thought it was. This is probably due to the fact that it sits out all day without being refrigerated. The other sauces were just as good and I think I like their honey mustard the most actually. The fries are pretty good but I am really not sure if it justifies the price, especially when you're buying a sandwich. I am just really floored that there is not a combo. I got the grilled chicken sandwich simple without tomato. It was also decent but nothing I can't live without, especially for the price points. It's not even so much about being on a budget or anything of that sort. I just think the price needs to match the quality of the food and the quality of the restaurant. When it comes to Super Chix being a fast casual restaurant with very basic food, I am not sure it is worth as much as they charge. I decided to give this place a try. I've been seeing lots of locations pop up, and this one is right by my house. We came in on a weekday night, they weren't busy at all. Once we placed our order we went and checked out all the sauce options they have, and they have a ton! I love how they have them out so you can help yourself and try different sauces. I really liked the Korean BBQ. It was a little spicy but I really liked it. I ordered the chicken cordon bleu sandwich with the breaded chicken. The sandwich overall was pretty good. I wasn't a huge fan of the cheese they use, I was expecting a regular slice of Swiss cheese but this cheese was almost like a Velveeta cheese. It was really gooey and almost had that fake cheese texture which I wasn't a huge fan of. The honey mustard that comes on the sandwich was a little heavy for me, I think next time I would ask for it off and just put the sauce on myself, but over all it was a good sandwich. The fries come with a ton! I highly recommend ordering the regular size. I ordered this and split it with one other person and it was more than enough! The service here was really great. We have been eager to give Super Chix a try. It looked like a super fun place. A lot of different types of chicken sandwiches available. You can choose either breaded or grilled. Their salads looked huge and had several things in them. They had 9 dipping sauces to choose from. Chicken Cordon Bleu - 4 stars - A little too much ham. We had to add a little honey mustard from our dipping tray we created. Overall good flavor but left me wanting to try the rest of the menu. Kids meal - 3 stars - They offer several combinations but we got two chicken fingers. The Chicken itself is not great. The dipping sauces made it fun. The kids meal comes with some custard which was overall enjoyable but nothing to go out of your way for. Fries - 3 stars - not great. Came in four flavors. Salt, sugar, Cajun and Rosemary Pepper. Rosemary Pepper was fine. We got the sugar out of curiosity. It was a sal-gar that they put on the fries. Three part sugar to one part salt. Overall very weird. Any place that offers only Pepsi product automatically gets knocked down a star from me. Their choice of dipping sauces and the look of other food secured another star for me. Skip this. Cheese fries seasoned with rosemary pepper - 1/10 we hated the fries they were cut too thin that most of the pieces were overcooked and greasy. Couldn't really taste any seasoning. The Rosemary Black Pepper fries were good, but they're the shoestring size that are eaten by the bunch and don't travel well, must be eaten hot. I'm a big critic of most coleslaw, but there's was crispy and had a great bite to it. All the side sauces were tasty and not too sweet. Custard was decent, a little bit of ice grain in it, but mostly real creamy. Overall, I'd eat it again, but $25 for a sandwich, fries, and shake is a bit steep. Worst restaurant experience I've ever had. I came at 8:30 to get my food and the kitchen was completely shut down. After I ordered, no one started making the order until I said something. 20 minutes later, I watched the lady use her cleaning gloves she just wiped the floors with, and put my chicken in the bag. I then caught her and she was surprised to see me watching. She said she would remake the food (which would have been another 20 min) so I asked for a refund.
