Been wanting to try this place out since I moved to Utah 7 years ago. Finally got the chance, and I don't really have anything to complain about. The restaurant was clean and the employees friendly enough, but the food was honestly just okay. Not bad by any means, but also not good enough to justify driving all the way out here just to get it. Made an impromptu stop for JCW's bc I knew my husband had to try it; my husband loved Training Table's cheese fries and the sauce that came with them (hickory smoke bbq sauce and mayo ??). I had an old coworker who was previously worked at JCW's and informed me it was essentially the same people who were close TT that opened JCW's. Went on a Monday around 5:30ish. Only a few people were there. By the time we left around 6-6:30ish, it started to get busy! My husband liked the fact they had malt vinegar at condiment station; he loves malt vinegar on fries, but he said the cheese fries didn't need it - they were great on their own. WATER COMING OUT OF THE SPRITE DISPENSER WAS SPARKLING WATER!! I hadn't noticed it was carbonated until I was caught off guard first sip (I don't like sparkling water) Hahah. I thought I accidentally got the sprite, but it was plain sparkling water; the HI-C is reg water. There was no label indicating such so just a heads up!! He got the mush&swiss and I got jalapeño bacon. We shared the large cheese fries with the side of ultimate sauce. He was a very happy with the new find; almost mad at me for not taking him sooner hahaha. He said it was basically TT - same buns, cheese fries, and sauce. The cheese fries had a nice cheese pull while they were hot but once they cooled down, definitely cold cheese. Excited to reheat these in the airfryer! I typically don't like bacon burgers and the like, but this was the perfect amount of bacon for me - could tell there was bacon without being overwhelming. The fresh jalapeños were spicy which I loved! After trying the ultimate sauce, I'm going to ask for it on my burger next time (or at least a side of bc it came unmixed)! The only complaint I had was the grease of the burger was making it hard to keep it together and was coating the wrapper. It wasn't an obscene amount of grease, but enough I took notice. Amazing hamburger joint. It is a chain, but rinded me of the little mom and pop hamburger places back home. Hamburger and fries were amazing. The strawberry shake was huge for a small. I couldn't finish the shake. Wish they had a child sized shake. read more

We were happy to see they have gone back to the better chicken tenders like they use to have . They are big & juicy not hard & crunchy like the other kind they were serving . We ordered ranch with them . They have the best ranch . The cheese fries were really good . They had so much cheese through out all the fries. It comes with a lot of fries . JCWs is still a crowded place on weekends. Really good shakes (order a fresh banana malt) and cheese fries. Okay burgers. But steer clear of the rib eye sandwich. The rib eye meat is thin (expected) but that also means it's going to be very dry meat (unexpected). The sandwich fixings and sourdough bread were good, but that does not hide the problems with the meat. Sandwiches are certainly big enough for two people. I really enjoy their burgers, fries and ultimate fry sauce. And I don't know what they do to their bacon, but it's the best I've ever had on a sandwich. Perfectly cooked to go on top of a sandwich, it has good structure without being too crispy. My favorite burger is the Hickory Bacon Burger with American cheese, no lettuce, no tomato, adding two onion rings on top. Add mayo and hickory sauce. Perfect!! Their fries are consistently good. I make myself avoid the shakes but they look great. I usually go through the pickup window instead of eating inside. Service is pretty quick, considering they make your food AFTER you order it. Oddly, we became aware of this place because of a bus passing by as we were walking back to our car from the SportsFest held by Huntsman Cancer Hospital. Anyway..... We drove out to it. Found the menu interesting. Ordered our meals and got them decently quickly. Except for my Cherry Thickshake. Asked about it and, yes, they are working on it. Halfway through my Pastrami Burger the shake was finally made. Cool. Except the server stood there sharing her life story with a co-worker as it melted away. Realizing she had it ahead of her took it to the wrong table before I had to flag her down. But I finally got my shake. The place seems okay. Clean. Not overly crowded. We got here early after opening, so there was no wait. They were pretty quick to bring out our food. And the food was really good. The cheese fries had so much cheese on them! It was amazing! Not a fan of ordering off the menu and then when I get up to the window I'm told it is 20% more than I expected. I was told prices went up a couple of days ago but they didn't bother to change the drive through. I'm sure this is to cover the tip they advertise on the radio that they will never ask for. One word - phenomenal! We LOVED everything about this place. Beautiful interior, fast service, and great quality food. It is a bit pricey but you do get a lot of food (Darn, inflation!). The shake was thickened to perfection, the halibut was deliciously seasoned, and the chicken tenders were moist and juicy. I went to the drive up window in a hurry, ordered a 6 piece chicken wing plate, with extra fry sauce. Paid almost $12 for it and left. Got where I was going and looked in it. Based on the location I assumed this place would only be busy during weekday lunch hours, but it's positively hoppin' every single night, like every seat in the joint full for hours and substantial drive-thru lines. Never been to a JCW before this and as I soon found out, it's because they give you a very large and good burger. It is a tad more expensive than regular fast food, with combo meals at least $15 after tax for the most basic ones, but they do give you the portion size and quality for the money at least. If you want to add special stuff like smothered fries or shakes to a combo, expect to go over $20. I was happy just getting a really big double burger for $9 and some change, I really didn't need to eat anything else with that. Though its very busy the service is reasonable, like In-n-Out they have a small army of staff back there cooking and prepping, my wait was like three minutes in line then under 10 for the burger even though the place was fully packed out. Kinda surprised by the low overall scores for this and other locations given how clearly popular the place is. read more

JCW's is a family-operated, Utah fast-causal chain primarily offering burgers, fries, and shakes. The food is solid--I'd particularly recommend the hickory bacon burger, which packs some nice tangy spice into it. The shakes are great too--big portions, lots of flavor options. The service is fair--JCW's got two of our four burger orders incorrect. Though the food was still fine, a little more attention to detail could help this place be even better. Additionally, I'd love to see JCW's enforce social distancing some more, as there are no current practices to space out the ordering line or prevent people from sitting right next to other parties. read more

JCWs is a classic and the shakes are really what steal the show. This time we got a chocolate base with Oreo and a vanilla base with raspberry and cheesecake. I got the halibut fish and chips this time and I took off a star off my review because they were not very good at all. This place didn't impressed me at all. Mine burger was nothing special. The burger bun was extremely dried and the burger was not juicy or flavorful. The shake sizing are weird. The medium size was as big as the large size (picture attached). The flavors of the shakes were ok, nothing to repeat anytime soon. The employees were not very helpful. Hands down, best place to get chicken strips! I know it's in their name, "the burger boys" but their chicken strips are delicious! I get them every time I eat here. Also it's totally worth it to make the side of fries you get (if you do decide to get a meal) cheese fries instead of regular because those are also delicious! I was a little disappointed with the cheese fries last time I came in though, I'll attach the picture, they're usually very crispy and cheesy, but this time they were soggy and oily. This location has everything I wish the Lehi location had (basically the fries come out warm and the drive thru orders always come out correct). This is fast casual where you Order at the counter and they bring you food. Drive thru and patio dining also an option. Menu is a la carte and prices are a bit high but the portions are big. My burger was neatly prepared and tasted excellent. I didn't get fries so make room for sweets. My shake was thick like a Blizzard. Took my kid here for boys night dinner. Much like most "fast food " places you order and wait for your food. We both had burgers and fries. I love burgers and my wife and I just moved here to slc from Cali last month and my friend recently recommended JCWs to me and said their burgers are really good so we decided to give it a try. Yelped this place and we drove to the south Jordan location and was happy to see that they had a drive thru. We ordered the Swiss mushroom burger and the blue cheese ranch burger and also the chili cheese fries as well as a chocolate shake/ice cream I had the mushroom Swiss burger and wow. I loved it! The party was so juicy, the mushrooms were good and the burger itself was pretty good and filled me up. I actually hate burger places where the burger is so small and yet so good, but didn't fill me up. But this place their burger filled me up. My wife had the blue cheese ranch burger and she was blown away and loved it too (in which I was shocked because she rarely likes burger places). The chili cheese fries were okay, next time we go here I'll make sure to only order the cheese fries as the chili was a little on the strong side for us. My wife loved the chocolate shake they had. The flavoring was on par, it was rich and creamy and the chocolate wasn't too strong and too sweet. It was perfect. Will recommend this place to anyone. We will be back! read more

There were 10 of us in our party and they were very accommodating, especially for my brother's wheel chair and found the perfect spot to sit together and yap! Ordering was a breeze and JCW's are known for awesome tasting burgers and excellent service. They also have a kids menu that doesn't break the bank.
