I had a hamburger here recently and it was good. I ordered the chicken shack today and oh my goodness! I couldn't put it down. It was so good. The flavor is really good with the good quality tasting chicken, paired with the fried breaded outer coating. I like that the coating is not overdone. It can look like it's mutated at other places, with no chicken to be found within the excess. It's gotta be the herbed mayo that adds to its flavor as well. It's a winning combo, not pictured in my review, because it didn't last long. I got some fries again on this visit and they are great! The cookies and cream shake is perfect. When a guy handed me my order, he took the time to ask if he could get me anything else. It's a busy Saturday afternoon the entire place including the bathrooms were clean...so five stars for everything, thanks! It also doesn't hurt that I got 50% off my chicken shack because I signed up for rewards last time I was in. By the way, it's pretty cool that through June. You can get a free chicken shack with an order of $10 or over. I'll have to convince someone to put in a joint order with me on Sunday so we can make this happen! read more

My wife and I came in to try out the burgers and fries. Shake Shack is nostalgic for us with our Newport Beach trips. The burger was a little smaller than I remember, but the prices continue to go up. The crinkle cut fries weren't bad. My wife prefers the sweet potato fries, which they have in Newport Beach. However, they don't offer that option here. I'll have to give their shakes a try next time. If you're looking for a really good burger, I'd recommend checking somewhere else. read more

Really disappointed today. I ordered a double smoke shack and an iced tea. The burger came out burnt around the edges with a ln oily taste. Not pleasant. It was big when Shake Shack popped up in Utah. Like, a week after it opened I decided turn around when I saw the line stretching out the door and wrapping around the building. Years later, I finally decided to check it out and get myself a meal years in the making. It was alright. I took my order to go and got the classic BBQ burger. I went single patty so it wouldn't explode over my hands. I also ordered cherry limeade to wash it down. The smash burger was a little too smashed resulting in it being a little overcooked and robbing the whole of some needed volume (maybe I should've gone double). The pickles were fresh and fried onions make pretty much anything good. I learned cherry limeade just doesn't work as a concept for me. If it's your thing, go for it. As someone who places crinkle cut fries in the bottom tier of fries, these were pretty damn good and did not survive my drive home. Shout out to Crystal, the cashier. read more

It was a little odd walking into the place w/no workers to greet you, instead screens as you figure out what to get. Is this the new thing? Little to no customer service? I wanted to pay w/cash but that's not an option w/the screens and workers were in back. My food was great though. Wish they had a drive through, that would've been much more convenient. Prices for food was crazy!! $10 for my Dubai shake which was amazing! $10 for burger and then additional for fries, etc. So for my one meal it came out to be around $36. Extremely disappointed! We ordered shake shack and they immediately accepted our order then they delayed for 1.5 hours. At this point, their store had closed and we couldn't pickup our order. My husband and I went to the school yard location last week because he'd been craving shake shack. The staff member taking our order was helpful and friendly. The restaurant was clean and had a nice vibe. He got the avocado bacon burger and I tried the shack stack which has a fried stuffed portobello mushroom on top of a regular burger patty. We shared fries and one of their new holiday shakes, the chocolate Yule log one. The food was hot and fresh. The fries were crisp and delicious. The shake was tasty but a little chocolate overload for my liking (I'd have it again but do the vanilla custard base instead of chocolate). The burgers were flavorful and cooked to perfection. My burger was a little much for me and although being delicious and literally bursting with Melty cheese, I'll probably get a bacon burger next time. If you've never tried shake shack I'd suggest giving it a try and this location did not disappoint. read more

It's been a long time since my last visit to Shake shack. Likely when I was in an airport traveling before Covid. Finally made it back today. The taste was okay, and as thin as the patty was, I was surprised it was still really pink inside. It was $9 for a burger that's on a small bun. really isn't all that impressive to me. Other gourmet burger places (JCWs) make huge burgers for the same price. I got one burger And fries and was over $14. The inside is really nice and clean and presentable. Staff were great. Really it's just overpriced for the amount of food you get, and the quality. Thus the 3-star review. We come here maybe once per week and usually the food is great hence the four stars but today we decided to try two ten piece chicken bites with our fries instead of burgers because we wanted something lighter and there was an off putting amount of oil in the chicken bites that did not get drained after frying and even after setting the last five chicken bites on a paper napkin -- you can see the amount of oil from just 25% of the chicken bites we ordered -- the predominant flavor was oil not chicken. Extremely disappointing flavor. In addition, the breading was not crisp. We got our order to go but ate in the parking lot since it's a nice view so it should have still been crisp but the breading on the chicken bites was much thinner than the breading we've had on the chicken sandwich. It fell off the chicken and fell into the dipping sauce instead of staying on the chicken. Overall my husband and I were so disappointed both with the texture and flavor. Not sure if this is how they're usually made but based on today we would not get them again. Burgers are still great as of our last visit last week and employees are friendly. read more

I ordered a mushroom burger and it was delicious. However their signature sauce had little to no flavor other than Mayo and the fries were mediocre at best. It's also very loud inside. The ordering process is really convenient. They have a kiosk where you can place your order for takeout or eat in. I went with the shake shack with cheese added pickles and bacon and had it on a lettuce wrap. I thought the burger overall was good , but a little bit overpriced for what you get. I was victimized by shrinkflation!!!! My last visit to shake shack was about a year ago in New York where I had an awesome meal. I was disappointed today when I visited shake shack in Utah, spent 30$, and was served basically popcorn chicken. It is hard to tell in the photo, but the nuggets are much smaller than what I had previously and what you get at chick fil a. You can tell that they're really trying to adjust their margins with little things like keeping their utensils behind the counter and the size of sauces getting smaller. Mr Friendly Saved the day. I recently tired Shake Shack for the first time. I wasn't familiar with the menu at all. It seemed a safe place in regards to covid. We wanted to order to-go and walked inside to order. At the time they were taking orders outside. Nobody was there to help us so inside we went. I ordered the mushroom burger.... now this was confusing. After my order was placed I returned to the car to wait. As I started reading reviews I noticed a comment about how the mushroom burger was vegetarian and had NO MEAT. That is not what I intended to order and went running in to change my order. I was greeted by the most friendly guy. He helped me immediately, because the cheeseburger cost less then the mushroom burger he added in a shake. He saved my experience... We ordered a few things to try... cheeseburger, fry's, spicy nuggets, and a spicy chicken sandwich. The food look pretty yummy but.... the chicken was ridiculously seasoned with spices and super dry. It was uneditable. The burger was over priced and it and the chicken sandwich were smaller than my fist. The shake wasn't all that either. Ending impression... this place is overhyped and over priced. I love a good burger and fries and this is not the place to satisfy that craving. read more

I finally decided to give this place a try now that they aren't as busy as they were when they first opened this location. I've heard so many good things about Shake Shack so I was looking forward to it. We decided to order the bourbon bacon cheddar burger, a double bacon cheese burger, and we also ordered a fry and drink. When we ordered the bourbon burger we were told they were out of the white cheddar cheese, we were disappointed as this was something we really wanted to try. I asked if we could just get regular cheddar and was told they were out of cheddar and only had American cheese. My friend does not like American cheese, so for that burger we just did no cheese. It was kind of disappointing when they're advertising this burger as a new one to try yet they don't have all the toppings available. When we ordered our drink they told us they were out of lids so we were just given a straw. I'm not sure why they were out of things, maybe this is common here? Our food came out quickly. It was hot and looked really good. I was a little disappointed in the fries though, it didn't come with very many. For $3.10 it's pretty disappointing. The burger had really really good flavor though. All in all I would probably come back here and give them another chance. Man I just still can't seem to get on board. I love their "Shackago" Dog, but for $5? And their Chicken nuggets are pretty good, but again, it's just too pricey for my taste. Those are my two go to's if I have to come here, otherwise I'm just not too impressed. Either that, or my tastebuds are way off from everyone else's, because there always seems to be a line. The fries are crinkle cut, nothing special, and again for the price you pay, I'd wish for it to feed more than a hungry millennial. I just cannot get over the price, it blows my mind. My family of four ordered food to share (a hotdog, two 10 piece chicken nuggets, shake, and fry, and four waters) for approximately $30. We were still starving and had to go back for the same order--spent $50 feeding us that night, when I could've gone down the road to many of the other surrounding restaurants for half the price. I don't know, I'm mostly sad. Sad that it's just never been very tasty for me. To each their own, read this review as well as others and determine for yourself whether or not you want to come. 3 stars for the overall ambiance and customer service, the employees are kind and work hard so that is always a plus. I recently moved to Utah and was pretty thrilled they had opened a Shake Shack so close to me! My friends and I avoided opening week knowing how crazy it would get. We decided to drop by about a month after grand opening and even though it was close to closing time they were still packed. We didn't have to wait in line too long so I guess the long grand opening crowd has died down. I got my usual Shack Stack and fries! I've tried Shack Shack at multiple locations such as NY, CA, and Vegas. It was only fair for me to order my usual to compare. This location was consistent with other locations and I was not let down at all! Great fresh quality burger that I remember with the nice hot oozing cheese from the mushroom. It is a bit pricey for the size of the burger if you compare it to in n out, but it definitely is a more gourmet burger. I love their crinkle cut fries and they came out fresh as well. I gotta come back to try their shakes next time. I really wanted shake shack to live up to its hype, but it fell short for me. Very short. I came when the hype died down thankfully and only had to wait maybe 3 minutes in line before ordering. Although the line was super short, the dining area was completely filled with kids running around everywhere. You'd think you're at McDonald's playground area with the noise level. I ordered the deep fried portobello mushroom burger and it was just ok. There was cheese inside and I didn't like it. It threw off the mushroom texture for me and wished I didn't order it after all. The chicken nuggets are tasty, but too darn expensive for a handful of pieces. The fake cheese that's used to make the bacon cheese fries were very disappointing. I ended up just eating the bacon bits on top and threw the rest away. I heard the shakes are good, but I didn't bother. I left the restaurant hungry and probably won't be coming back anytime soon. I decided to give this another chance but I still just don't get it. As far as burgers go, the flavor, texture, and size is below average from most burger places in Utah. I ordered the shack stack burger with no sides and was surprised at how little the burger was. For 10 bucks I would expect a large burger if they are not going to include a side but that is not the case. I was given a shake and it was tasty but I won't be ordering actual food here when there are plenty of options around that give you more bang for the buck. Their 4th day open, they are on the ball and handling the rush pretty well. I waited in line about 30 minutes before they opened and the line moved decently well. Having seen these all over the US have not tried their food, wanted to see what all of the hype was about. Things to consider: 1. no shake sauce (fry sauce) near the ketchup dispenser, you have to ask for it as they keep it behind the counter 2. burgers and fries were overly salty 3. Fool me once; shame on you. Fool me twice; shame on me. We ate at this Shake Shack location a few months back, and I had their new Black Truffle Burger. It was a mushy mess - hamburger bun, burger patty, and toppings. The fries were also not good and may have been the worst of the typical fast food restaurants. The only positive was we received two milkshakes for free because the staff messed up our order. We asked for Oreo, and they gave us a Mocha, then brought us a Christmas Cookie and finally an Oreo. For the hype, it's not worth it. We ordered a 6 piece chicken bites, lemonade, vanilla shake and a hot dog and the total $19 and change. The chicken bites were very tender just not a fan of the breading, it was too greasy. My son enjoyed the hotdog; however, he's had shakes at every location that sells them and he even made a comment saying that the shake was no different than a fast food joint. Lemonade wasn't much better. Staff was friendly, but they didn't call our name when they set the order on the pickup table and they said we'd receive a text when our order was ready, that didn't happen either. The location was very clean and I do love their outdoor seating area. The garage doors are really cool and they'll be a great dining experience during the summer. You order and give your number then go wait in your car or outside for a text to get your food. Ok so I am one of the crazy's waiting in line on a Sunday, day after opening. We are getting our food to go because of seating. 25 minutes to reach the door in this crazy heat! Going to get a cheeseburger, fries and a frozen yogurt. The gal who took our order was named Kylie and she was upbeat and friendly! It was refreshing after standing in line! Yay we were able to snag a table! I thought it was good hot and fresh tasting,but not sure about the hype. Ok so I am adding, second visit. Ya know, the first time I came here was for an event. Other than my time, I didn't have any skin in the game, so I felt like the food was OK. Not special, but OK. Since coming back on my own with my husband, I can say I would rather have burgers and fries almost anywhere else. We both had a burger with some chopped up peppers on it, which I can't find on the menu now. My husband complained that his bun was soggy. This doesn't really bother me. It was just a general lackluster situation for me given the price of the food; I didn't like the flavors of the burger I chose, and maybe that was just a poor choice on my part. We also got crinkle cut fries which to me just taste like the ones you can buy in the frozen section of the grocery store. They weren't anything special, but not gross by any means. Just "shrug" fries in my opinion. I went back to the counter to order a shake. It is "Shake Shack," after all. I just wished I had gotten one from Chick-Fil-A instead; it would've been cheaper and better. I will say that the service was good, and that they were pretty quick. But honestly, the money you spend at Shake Shack for the quality of food you get would be much better spent at an actual sit down restaurant. I've heard that the shroom burger is good, and that the chicken sandwich is good. I'm not sure I'd want to come back to take the risk, but if I do, I'll update my review.
